EARTH CALLING MARK MARDELL

President Barack Obama in Tucson
Yes, he’s the BBC North America editor, the man with his finger on the pulse of political events in the USA. I recall back in January when Mark Mardell brought us to near tears with his moving commentary on Obama’s calls for “civil discourse” (Remember that meme, the one that suggested the evil Sarah Palin was more or less directly responsible for the Arizona shootings?) But here’s the problem; For some inexplicable reason. Mark has overlooked the Democrat supporting Jimmy Hoffa calling “to take these sons of bitches out” and the ..erm..Vice President referring to opponents as “Barbarians.” I’m sure Mark will get around to highlighting these examples of outrageous hypocrisy from the Obama camp…..any minute now…..

“North America editor” is a misnomer.  Mardell is the US President editor, and nothing more.

Hoffa’s nasty language has been a top story for 2 days in the US.

But nary a mention by the BBC.   This “civil discourse” stuff is only meant to apply to the Republicans ?

In the minds of the Left – including Beeboids – when the Democrat have a super-majority and ram legislation through without having to work with the opposition, it’s “democracy”.  When the Republicans are in charge on only the House and don’t want to do what the Left wants, it’s “intransigence” and a failure to act in a happy bi-partisan fashion.

Will Mardell admit the administration is imploding? Obama (or his people) seem unable to control ‘the message’. Only the most loyal Sycophants are left standing.

I thought O was many things but it comes as a surprise to how INCOMPETENT he is. I’m beginning to understand the depiction of him as the Vice Chancellor of a University: remote in his governing style, he lectures the staff and students, is irritated when his orders are not carried out, angered by dissent and finally impotent when confronted with strong opposition.

When will we see any real analysis of the state of the union on the Beeb?

Of course the BBC is scouring every single spoken word all the Republican candiates for any sign of violent rhetoric, the BBC will of course highlight what it finds straight away.

The re election of Obama is a BBC priority now, nothing will be allowed to distract them from their sacred role. It has already begun, all mention of any negative story is being stamped on.

No surprise there.  The CEO of GE, which owns NBC, works for the President officially these days as Jobs Czar.

And not in BBC-Democrat political interests to mention this about its chum, Michael Moore and Iran:

“KAHLILI: Michael Moore, rethink your trip to Iran.

Filmmaker fixates on anti-Americanism while ignoring mullah massacres. ”
