LONDON’S BURNING…

BBC coverage of the Tottenham thuggery has been utterly appalling. I note they have virtually lionised the “young man” Mark Duggan tragically killed whilst…erm…trying to murder a Police Officer, allegedly. Now we get the usual dross about looking for the “deeper reasons” behind the riots. I blame Thatcher – how about you?

Oh we’ve had the BBC running the usual bollocks about ‘Moaty’ sorry Duggan.

The ‘black’ commuinty have shown their solidarity with the Duggan family by making off with 40″ plasma TV’s, I understand this is an ancient tradition that comes from Africa, where for centuries the plasma TV was a symbol of peace and understanding.

It reminds me of those Livingstone like yute meetings where some arrogant ugly thug is presented by Ken as tomorrows future. The yute himself says he wants to give something back to the communty, to which a bloke in the audience shouts back
“you can start with my fucking radio cd player you knicked you thieving bastard”

the yute says no man I mean rap music I’m so deluded on crack that actually believe its of some poetic value. Of course Ken holding back the tears applauds

Was quite Orwellian last night, although the bubble burst at 1AM as the BBC reporter and camera crew were viciously attacked by the peaceful demonstrators and the feed got cut for 30 minutes.

This morning all the talk on the Beeb is that ‘harsh cuts’ and no yoot clubs are to blame.

Not the fact a known gang lord shot a policeman.

I watched the far-left BBC News for some time, then switched to Sky, and the coverage was incomparable. The far-left BBC just interviewed a string of black-supremacists, telling us how the poor black man is victimised and constantly stopped & searched (now why would the police want to stop and search the demographic that is responsible for a disproportionate amount of crime in that area!?)
One of them stated – unchallenged – that Cynthia Jarrett was ‘murdered’ by police in 1985, when in fact she suffered a heart attack when police raided her home to arrest her son.

They seem to have forgotten to mention that Mark Duggen was a  gun-toting gangster and unemployed father of four, who tried to shoot a cop, or that gun and knife crime has reached epidemic proportions within the black ‘community’.

Switch to Sky and they have a commentator criticising the police for being too soft, both last night and in general.

Dotun Adebuyo on Up All Night was getting very defensive on 5Live last night. By his own admission he is a Tottenham boy and grew up on the Broadwater Farm estate in the eighties. No mention of whether he was invovled or a victim of the riots then.

It seems to me we have

    (a) an alledegly criminal who when stopped by the police tried to kill an officer
    (b) a police officer trying to defend himself after his life is threatened
    (c) the would-be cop killer gets killed as he tries to kill the officer
    (d) the police can’t comment due to IPCC investigation
    (e) the total failure of community leadership before last night’s incident — stand up Mr Lammy — during this tense time
    (f) idiots ransack shops in their own community and create criminal damage — causing even more problems for their own community

I can’t say I have much sympathy for anyone other than the innocent shop owners and the law abiding citizens of Totenham.

I hope each and everyone of these thugs and criminals is caught and banged up.

I have just had 5 minute “dose” of the BBC 24hr news. (I couldn’t take any more).

Lammy WAS defending civilised behaviour and he WAS pushing back at the off-camera interventions saying “we want justice”.

Then the BBC had some “writer” on saying “I don’t live in Tetttenham but I am staying here at the moment – the police need to talk to thses youths – they won’t wait six months for a report”.

Very inflammatory in my opinion – attempting to justify this riotouse behaviour. It is not the role of a public broadcaster to undermine the areas elected represetntative.

The criminal Duggan looks responsible for his own death.

An enquiry by the Independent Police Complaints Commission was put in hand that very day.

But no – the family and “friends” decided to start a “protest” outside Tottenham police station.   Utterly pointless – except to whip up trouble.  They must have known that the criminal fraternity in  Tottenham’s black “community” could well take advantage and cause mayhem.

So I blame the “friends” and family of the criminal Duggan for what ensued last night.

    That’s the narrow picture.

The wider picture is that after decades of growth in the Caribbean “community” we had major riots in several cities in 1981.  Not to mention the endless trouble at Notting Hill carnivals.   Total failure of much of that “community” to integrate properly.  High crime rates,  low education levels,  unemployment,  the new drugs trade, and feckless idle youth with a grudge of victimhood.

So as a nation we had already seen the failure of a large slug of over-fast immigration,  of ghettos forming,  of alien levels of violence.   We then saw the growth of gun crime and knife crime based in the errant “community”.  But endless bleats of victimhood – and then a Met Police neutered by PC attitudes.

So what did Labour do ?   Invite a huge wave of immigration from other countries,  mostly with little in common with the indigenous folk of this country in terms of education levels – heck,  they don’t even try to speak English properly.   Further ghettos,  now compounded by religious strife.

I refuse to listen to all the BBC claptrap about the present trouble.   LBC is giving it straight – yes they have the whiners on,  but they are also giving voice to straightforward moral concern,  straight criticisms from members of the public of the lawlessness and violence within the “community”.

I know from my own contacts that the police in this part of London are unwilling to confront the gang culture that results in tens of stabbings of school-age children each year.

The police need to front-up to this lawlessness and illegality.

Perhaps a “Boston” joint-enterprise attack on gang members is now the way forward. (ALL members of a gang are held liable for ANY crimes of ANY of their members – some gangs in Wood Green have 400 members).

Paralysed is the word, Hippie. A criminal, whatever his colour, race, ethnicity, religion, is a criminal & should be treated as such. The police have been hamstrung by PC & ‘cultural sensitivity’, & by legions of apologists & closet supporters of black criminality. Some not so closeted: there were some suspicious looking whites in the mob. SWP/UAF sticking it to the man? Where’s the equality in giving certain sections of society the blind eye? Well, to the beeboids, blacks & muslims can have a free pass any day of the week, whatever they have done. Given the technology at the Met’s disposal I expect hundreds more arrests in the next few days, & for the Police Force to bust every rioter/looter for every crime they have committed. Never mind throwing the book at them, throw the entire bloody library. Followed by an outsourced sentence (5 years) in a Turkish/Polish prison – far away from the brothers. Tottenham’s black community? So, so much to answer for.

So the bBC have allowed David Akinsanya to opine that Mark Duggan was murdered, that the young people have heard on the news that a police radio had a bullet inside it (His exact words)

Then they allowed some black vicar to extol how the police are in the wrong that the family want justice and that the rioters only want answers.

Now the bBC is pushing the view that the riots happened after a young woman was battered by the …police during a peaceful protest.

The bBC reporter has such a smug expression on his face, he is almost laughing at all the destruction, which he has no problem blaming on the ..police.
Lamy (MP) is on blaming this on outside elements and not local people.
Yet a local black woman who was interviewed blamed it in local people who are not…British and who have recently moved to the area unfortunately she wasn’t allowed to speak for long as she was heaping the blame ont he people who carried it out, the black people of Tottenham. Which is exactly what this is. Black gangs rule with a rod of iron in that part of London, this is a message from them to the Police that they rule and to leave their leaders alone. Why isn’t the bbC reporting this instead it pushes out inflammatory words such as: Murder, racist, Police brutality. Police incompetence, Peaceful protestors, 1985 (that was 26 years ago bBC) People want answers. Why some black bloke interviewed by the bBC was asked what does he want to see from the IPC inquest , the Blackman replies: Justice, truth and honesty.
It seems the bBC is more interested in promulgating hate speech and lies in which to ensure that the rioters are seen as justified and the rest of society as closet racists. They say that pigs don’t shit in the place where they live, but to the nice peace loving law abiding people of Tottenham that is how they do it back in the mother country.

Wasn`t there some Haringey “celebration” of the 1985 “uprising” that ended up in the death of Keith Blakelock?
Instead of letting them ineptly employ Lammys, Shoesmiths and St Bernies of Grant-couldn`t we use Labours last set of laws/guidelines to prosecute Labours Councillors of Haringey for “glorifying violence/terrorism”…and stick the Lord Haw Haws of the BBC in the dock to save precious funding…a class action prosecution or show trial would really life the spirits of the nation?
If the black thug had been called Horatio, I`m pretty sure that the BBC would be mocking his name and double barrelled tendencies-like that Guardian witch a few weeks ago over the two posh blokes killed on a gap year in Thailand…she was a Beeb stringer wasn`t she?
They cseem to cringe around Duggans double barrelled tendency though don`t they?
Final thought-if that trip wire froze over and let the polar bear kill that lad-ther`s no issue with global warming is there?…maybe a little more of it could have saved the lads life?
Surely we`ll be seeing the risk assessment forms that Eton had to fill out…plenty old boys at the Beeb could pull a few old ties for us.

    Who is David Akinsanya?

I haven’t been following the BBC coverage and have been nowhere near a television so most of what I’ve been seeing as been via the internet.  Just be reading through the comments here and picked up on Pounce’s observations, especially this:

So the bBC have allowed David Akinsanya to opine that Mark Duggan was murdered, that the young people have heard on the news that a police radio had a bullet inside it (His exact words)

following later in the same post we have this:

Now the bBC is pushing the view that the riots happened after a young woman was battered by the …police during a peaceful protest.

I’ve also been over at the Inspector gadget blog reading some of the comments and picked up on this comment:

David Akinsanya – a journalist apparently being interviewed on BBC news. mentions a girl being attacked by police because she had marched up officers outside the police station and was shouting at them about ‘the murder’ on thursday. What murder? Of course – no challenge from the news reader, outrageous.

Obviously as I’ve not been watching I’m presuming from reading this that they are one and the same thing.

So when I read this report:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14412752

    and find this within it:

Local resident David Akinsanya said he arrived at the scene moments after the incident.
He said he was told by a witness that a police officer had shouted to the man to stop “a couple of times”, but the man had not heeded the warning.
The witness, who lives next to the spot where it happened, then heard four shots, Mr Akinsanya said.
“There were lots of helicopters and sirens all over the place,” he added.
“There was also a surveillance van on the corner.”

(Might be worth a screen grab before it gets a rewrite)

What are we to make of it.  I’m I the only one who finds it odd that this person keeps cropping up in the story and how the narrative seems to have changed.  Firstly he starts off as local resident and now he’s a journalist.

Unless of course the BBC just happened to stumble across another David Akinsanya.  One presumes that if they were one and the same person they would know this about him:

    http://cdn.policyreview.tv/speaker/1235.html

    Just curious really.

A process described by some as the Islamization of Europe, by others as the failure of Europeans to integrate Muslim immigrants, has reached a breaking point in France. One of the most troubling manifestations of this discord is the development of a particular type of violence that is more than the sum of its parts. A sampling of this year’s news reports reads like a catalogue of stomping, stabbing, shooting, torching, and sacking; attacks on teachers, policemen, firemen, old ladies, and modest retirees; turf wars, tribal fights, murder over women, over attitude, over nothing; dead youths, murderous youths, bodies scattered across a national battlefield….

The problem is the same – the concentration of social housing that enable an immigrant underclass to afford to live in expensive cities. Their HLM’s are basically almost free accommodation. Estates are virtual no-go areas like here.

The Akinsanya guy seems to be Tottenham’s sole resident.

If you Google him with a “news” filter he is quoted as a  “local resident” witness on the shooting incident and/or the riots by:-

    The Independent
    The Mail
    The Sun
    ITN
    The BBC
    Associated Press
    The Guardian
    The Mirror
    Sky News

    http://www.bing.com/news/search?q=david+akinsanya&p1=%5BNewsVertical+Ver%3d%222%22%5D&first=1&FORM=PENR

I first noticed him during the riots last night, interviewed by the BBC, when he said  “I arrived just behind the police station, in a car with a journalist from the Guardian”.

Seemed a bit odd for the Graun hack to be sharing a car with “a local resident” – but a bit of general Googling on Akinsanya reveals all.

He’s a regular writer in the Guardian on sociological matters related to “community yoofs” as well as his “brought up in care” background and his curious battles with his own sexuality outlined above.

He also pops up regularly at the Beeb – variously as a “documentary producer”, a guest on Wimmins Sour and even a bizarre article where complains that illegal immigrants are barbecueing swans near his houseboat.

In other words – he’s  a standard issue Graun/BBC go-to, ethnic leftie for “community” matters.

Why he seems omnipresent when “yoof” violence kicks off is a bit of a mystery.

I also Googled the angry black pastor who was doing a bit of mob incitement on the Beeb this morning – demanding “answers” for his “community” from the Police.

He’s called the Rev Nims Obunge and has an extensive portfolio of positions on various Police, Mayoral and national bodies dealing with black gang culture:-

<i>Rev Nims Obunge is the Pastor of Freedoms Ark Church and also serves as the Chief Executive of the Peace Alliance which is a national crime reduction charity working on a local and national basis in partnership with faith, community & statutory organisations, the police, and councils.

My question is – if he’s so plugged in to policing, he must understand that “answers” about the black kid’s death can only come after the IPCC report.

By repeatedly demanding them today, he’s just inciting further violence by his “community”.

This whole sorry affair reminds me of Tom Wolfe’s excellent book, “The Bonfire of the Vanities” – in which the accidental death of a black youth, run over by a rich banker, is ruthlessly exploited by race-hustling “community leaders” and their media lackeys to stir up major racial trouble for their own ends.

Unfortunately whitey civil service folk don’t actually have any black rioting mates on speed dial, and the race relations industry  “reach out to the community” gap is filled by these opportunist race-hustlers, otherwise known as “Community Elders/leaders” whatever. Livingstone and Lee Jaspers come to mind.

National Crack Advisory Board, FFS, Martin could do that in his spare time!

Watched most of the news of the rioting on Sky last night. When the ads came on switched to BBC News Channel around 12.15 am where the female Beeboid in the studio was conducting a phone interview with a Guardian journalist at the scene. The rioters were being described only as local youths, ethnicity was not mentioned once. Suddenly the Beeboid interrupted the Guardian journalist by saying “there are some Jewish people there.” The inference being they were part of the riot. Indeed, there were a number of Hasidic Jews there as onlookers (probably owners of businesses being attacked), but even the Guardian journalist wouldn’t rise to that kind of bait.

Typical Beeboid! Loathe to mention the ethnicity of the wrongdoers, but couldn’t stop herself highlighting the presence of some Jewish onlookers.

How the bBC explains to the world why Tottenham went up in flames last night.
London riots: Tensions behind unrest revealed
Rioting has again erupted on the streets of Tottenham almost 26 years after the Broadwater Farm riot. But what lies beneath the latest violent outburst in this chequered corner of north London? The unrest hours earlier followed the fatal shooting by police of 29-year-old Mark Duggan last week, and a protest march to a High Road police station on Saturday evening in which they demanded “justice”.

South Bank University student Jake Manu, 28, said Mr Duggan’s death and the subsequent lack of dialogue from the police triggered the riot. But he said tensions – some racial – had been bubbling for a long time.”The police never talk to us, they ignore us, they don’t think we’re human in this area,” he said.”We get pulled over all the time like criminals. If you’re wearing a black hood, [if] you’re a black man, they pull you over for no reason.”
The march for Mr Duggan began from the Broadwater Farm area, evoking memories of 6 October 1985. It was at Broadwater Farm housing estate that a police officer was stabbed to death in riots triggered by the death of local resident Cynthia Jarrett. Her heart had failed after police raided her home, adding to already existing racial tensions between local black youths and the largely white Metropolitan Police.

Youth worker Michelle Jackson, 43, said people were angry that the police were talking to the media but not to Mr Duggan’s family. She also said racial tensions between police and local youths had underpinned events.”I knew the person that was shot, he’s a really nice guy, and they’re making him out to be some kind of gangster involved in guns and all that kind of stuff.
“The way the police treat black people is like we’re nothing, they handle us really like we’re nothing. They speak to the young people like they’re nothing.” She said the police needed to engage more with youngsters.”They pull us out of cars like we’re drug dealers. The only reason why people did what they did is because this is the only way we’re going to get heard,” she said.
She said it was not just black people rioting, but people from all nationalities and ages.

Former accountant Alfred Griffith, 68, who has lived in the area for almost 30 years, said: “I have seen the behaviour of some of the police in this area and I haven’t been happy about it.

Norma Jones, 48, who works in human resources, said she saw people of all colours and creeds running along her road carrying carpets looted from a nearby shop.“It’s young people and the police, but not a black and white thing at all.”

Yet another gem from the twittosphere.

As the public seems unresponsive to the initial ‘anger & sympathy’ meme and are pretty much wise to who is doing what and why, the BBC has moved to the ‘why wasn’t anything done more quickly/they are not talking to us/who is on holiday’ line of attack.

Now, I do recall being a bit perturbed when it transpired that Prescott was running the country at one stage, so the level of cover over the school hols is pertinent. And if the entire senior management of government of police have all pissed off to their villas leaving inadequate 24/7 back-up then indeed ‘questions need to be asked’.

However, in the spirit of ‘ill-judged opinions’, for Mr. Ando to raise holiday absences when the entire BBC seems to have left a global media group in care of the interns while they bask with Polly for 2 months seems… brave.

It’s a little more complex than London: not London.

The problem is London’s Labour Councils, who use their influence over social housing to feed in more immigrants to fuel racial tension and undermine Camerons detoxification mission.
The gerrymandering of England by the Labour-compliant  Boundary Commission under the Blair-Brown’s “Destroy the English” Plan (TM) continues unhindered on the watch of Polar -bear  attracting Toff-Man.

London looks more and more to me like Chicago (Obamaland)  – a chequer board of black/white squares. Went to Richmond last week and it was almost totally white. Came home to see the street filled with African women pushing baby-buggies. Try getting a school place in three years time! All those cute fuzzywuzzies. But where are the English children? Moved.

It’s not just London. It must be fifteen years since I drove through Wolverhampton on the way to Stafford and initially was in an all-white world straight from 50’s US television. All-white, not mostly or almost exclusively: ALL.

Thought this was kinda bizarre, bearing in mind the vast immigration into the West Midlands, but then I drove under a bridge and for the next mile found myself in downtown Karachi. NO white faces. NO black faces. Only Asians.

A mile or so along, drove under another bridge and we’re back to being ALL-WHITE once again. Presumably if I’d gone down another road I’d have found the all-black section of Wolves.

Just the oddest thing I’d ever seen: still boggles me.

Islamic terrorists have killed more people in London than the IRA have.

People banned from the country free to come and fight for the right to remain at the taxpayers’ expense.

Hoards of immigrants come to London simply to carry out crime.

Acts of violence against Gays/Jews/White people from labours friends at an all time high.

Rioting now accepted as an acceptable pastime by the left in which to see their heroes (Labour) back in power.

Anybody who complains is instantly deemed a racist and thus silenced

The East End was mostly a slum,  but huge investement after the WW2 bombing was improving the place – especially after the Tory designation of the Isle of Dogs as a development area.

      But then the Bangladeshis arrived.

Let’s be blunt -they were mostly peasants.  Who brought in more peasants,  and lots of their elderly dependents.

The old East End,  formerly occupied by poor but hard-working indigenous Brits,  is now a sink of unemployment,  TB, idle older men as well as young men,  Islamist hostility,  huge NHS costs etc etc.

      “Diversity” ?

The BBC deliberately avoids the serios problems in the East End.

Even in the height of the Blitz attacks on the London Docks and therefore the East End,  Hitler did not stop the locals walking the streets at night.

Labour’s new guests make it fairly unsafe for indigenous people to walk at night off the main streets.  And unsafe for many young women to walk in daytime.

I feel really sorry for the boys in blue these days who have to defend society from crime with both arms and a leg shackled behind their backs.  They can’t, and society is being destroyed and will be, unless political leadership or a new political party rises that can ‘get back to basics’ and launch a counter attack on the subversives who seek to destroy our democratic society and are having remarkable success.
