Who was in Jerusalem first? And who has least claim in the city? Jews, Christians, muslims? I think we all know the answer.

Sue covered this CAMERA report a few days ago.  The documentary in question came about 6 montsh before her report on the Mari Mamara, so she seems to have learnt lessons and made amends.

Yes,  Corbyn’s report on Mavi Mamara was reasonably balanced.  But that does not cancel out the shocking bias in the earlier Panorama programme,  and does not excuse the wilful decisions of the BBC Trust’s Committee to defend that Panorama report against proper and detailed complaints of bias.

The BBC Trust is a busted flush,  a real disgrace.

Even the start of the programme with Jeremy Vine show bias .. “The Israelis say that Jerusalem is their capital”  Well where else may their capital be?  Jerusalem IS their capital.

I have the sense that the whole programme was set up with a strong steer from Bowen and his crew,  and that they provided the “briefings” to Corbyn.

Maybe Corbyn learned her lesson before the Mavi Marmara programme.  The lesson – don’t trust Bowen et al for any semblance of the facts.

It has to be said that Ms. Corbyn has just presented an excellent critique of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on BBC ‘Panorama’.

Based on interviews with tortured victims of the Islamic regime, the ‘Panorama’ programme indicated how the inhuman Sharia law , such as stoning of women, has been used against Iranian people since the Islamic revolution of 1979.

“Freed journalist: Iranian regime’s ‘information fears’ “http://news.bbc.co.uk/panorama/hi/front_page/newsid_9451000/9451492.stm

And the supporting role of Ahmadinejad’s state ‘PRESS TV’, which has an anonymous HQ on Hangar Lane, London in this repression was made clear in the programme.

Clearly,’ PRESS TV’ should have its London HQ closed down NOW – by the weak-kneed British government.

The BBC critically attack Israel daily (not for stonings, but for being Israel!); the BBC comes out with a significant expose of the Islamic Republic of Iran, maybe once in six months.

Maybe the next political test for BBC is how it reports the May ‘flotilla’ against Israel.

(UK only access to ‘Panorama’ TV programme on BBC i-Player.)

This exposes the anti-Israeli (and, I believe, fundamentally anti-Jewish) bias at the bbc.   I am horrified by the claims made by the bbc reporter, but then horrified all over again by the inability, no, the refusal, of the supposedly controlling authority to do anything about this avalanche of hatred.   If this were ITV, we could switch it off and complain.   Yes, we can switch off the bbc, too.   We can complain about its output (but watch the video and see how far that gets you).

The problem is:  we’re still legally required to pay for the bbc.   This is murderous propaganda, which I detest, but I am paying for it.   If I stop paying for it, I get a criminal record.   Somebody who incites murder via the bbc, on the other hand, gets a job for life and a diamond-encrusted (quinoa-flavoured) pension.   Where is Jonathan Swift, when you need him?

An open letter to the Culture Secretary

To the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP
Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport

    Dear Secretary of State,

I am addressing this letter to you because of a matter of public concern so great that I believe it must be tackled by you personally. The issue is the BBC, and its coverage of Israel and the Middle East.
