Radio 5’s pathetic fawning over Red Ed is vomit inducing, but to be expected.

But again I remind people I’ve not seen a single Tory politician interviewed this week over the Liebour party conference, let’s see if the BBC keep the Tory one a Liebour free one.

Daily Politics yesterday was delighted at the letter by Liam Fox to David Cameron which was leaked, presumebly by some socialist civil servant ( is the coalition going to clear them out ? ).
So they interviewed Tory MP . Bernard Jenkin who broadly agreed with Fox.
The BBC will interview Tories if it helps the BBC’s policy of pointing out splits in the government.
But, all through the Labour years , the BBC must have known the true extent of the hatred between Blair and Brown but failed to report it.
        Blatant bias.

Here’s one example of bias at the bbc.

    Should punters save or spend?

It’s an example of give people a choice of A or B, and people don’t think, would I like C

In this case, paying off debt is missing. The reason is that it’s what needs to take place with government and individuals. They need to get rid of debts, particularly whilst interest rates are low.

However, not at the BBC. It’s because if the government does that, they have to cut spending or earn more. That means higher taxation, which is never mentioned. In reality higher taxation means individuals cutting spending on their families etc. Cutting spending means cutting things like the BBC.

So they don’t mention it at all.

It’s same when you look at the output on spending. All deliterious effects, but the other effect, of not cutting public spending means ramping up taxation. Ramping up taxation means people have to cut their spending/debt repayments, because the government won’t. And as a left wing organisation, that’s not on the agenda.

I heard something very similar on the News Channel not long ago.  I made a comment here about it at the time, but don’t have time to find it.

What I heard was more of some Beeboid saying that people were being mean by paying off their debts instead of spending it in the shops.  As if that wasn’t what caused all these problems in the first place.

Neil Kinnock having a cosy chat on Daily Politics with the earth-shattering revelation they became the establishment and it was Tony and Gordon’s fault.

It was you, you, you, you numpty, along with the rest of them. Of course Labour became the establishment; they were the flipping government! You all jumped on the big gravy train and nobody jumped higher or onto a bigger gravy train than you.   >:o  Now, you have suddenly discovered after all these years that they became the establishment. Now the Beeboid Andrew Neil offers you the opportunity to cast yourself as “the new generation” which, naturally, as such an accomplished bandwagon jumper, you seize eagerly.  Give me strength!

Iraq and mass imigration among other things were mistkes says the new Labour leader. Yet Labour are forgiven by the BBC.

“A total of 179 British Armed Forces personnel or MOD civilians have died serving on Operation TELIC since the start of the campaign in March 2003.

Of these, 136 were killed as a result of hostile action.”
        http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/FactSheets/OperationsFactsheets/OperationsInIraqBritishFatalities.htm

These people were killed for a Labour mistake. Regardless of if you were for or against the war is not relevent, Labour have said it was wrong. Why is no one calling for the people who made this “mistake” to be held accountable?

During the past 13 years our cities have chaged beyond recognition, in fact in Liecester it is the English who are now in the minority – this “mistake” can never be undone – but the people responsible (including all those who described places as “hideousley white”) should be never again be allowed to draw a line under it and put it down to experience. Now for Kinnock the unelected wind bag, to cast himself as “the new generation” is beyond belief.

          Spot on. Google Andrew Neather

Neather has revealed that the Government’s ‘driving political purpose’, was ‘to make the UK truly multicultural’. It was politically motivated by ministers to radically transform the fundamental make-up and identity of this country. WHY? To destroy the right of British people to live in a society defined by its common history, religion, law, language and traditions. It set out to destroy the “culturally British” and to put another ‘multicultural’ identity in its place.

Doesn’t strike me that they have really learned or could give two hoots about what they have done, still less feel the need to apologise or make amends. Where is the BBC reporting about Roger Waters using anti-Semitic imagery in his new The Wall tour?

Anti-Semitic Imagery Used in Roger Waters’ Tour, Anti-Defamation League Says

Waters, a longtime vocal critic of Israel, takes aim at the Jewish nation’s West Bank security fence during a segment of his 2010-2011 “The Wall Live” tour by using imagery associated with stereotypes about Jews and money, ADL officials say.

During Waters’ recent performances of “Goodbye Blue Sky,” an animated scene has projected images of planes dropping bombs in the shape of Jewish stars of David, followed by dollar signs — an “outrageous” juxtaposition, according to Abraham Foxman, ADL’s national director.

Charming, no?  I await the BBC’s frowning at such hate speech and incitement to violence.  If he was doing this about Mohammedans, the BBC would be mewling about how controversial this is.  If they don’t report it, this will be more proof that the BBC has an editorial policy which condones the suffering of Jews everywhere as a consequence to anything relating to Israel.

I think this requires a new submission to GOT’s “Is a…” site.

      A damning silence.

I’d say this is absolutely killing me, as a die-hard Pink Floyd fan since my youth, but I’ve long been aware that Waters is a major-league bastard.  The way he emotionally abused his wives, his bandmates (he referred to them as “the muffins”), and anyone else who crossed his path is well known.  Anyone familiar with his work, while with Floyd or after, will know his polticial leanings, so this isn’t a surprise at all, and is hardly going to make me burn my 50+ hours of concert tapes.  But it’s still grating.

Not anywhere near as grating as the fact that the BBC condones it.

Obama Activist Tied In With Organization Accused of Voter Fraud

You may have read (not on the BBC website, obviously – DP) that there is strong evidence of voter fraud in Houston. Here’s what you may not have heard: the organization accused of shady behavior is linked to a former head of an Obama campaign office. She is a fan of Che Guevara. She is also the person who invited to a town hall meeting a woman who then posed as a doctor at that meeting during the health care debate.

    Plus this:

Most of the findings focused on a group called Houston Votes, a voter registration group headed by Sean Caddle, who also worked for the Service Employees International Union before coming to Houston. Among the findings were that only 1,793 of the 25,000 registrations the group submitted appeared to be valid.

SEIU: led until recently by Andy Stern, numero uno visitor to the White House in The Obamessianic Age, appointed by the President to His commission on fiscal policy (kind of like having Bob Crow as SpAd to the Chancellor), and currently under investigation by the FBI for corruption.

Stop the presses:  Mark Mardell has a clue!  No wait, sorry, keep ’em rolling, as the last part of his latest blog post shows that he’s still a true believer.

Changing of the White House guard: soap or serious?

Rahm Emanuel is going to leave the Obamessiah Administration and run for mayor of Chicago.  As I said before, this is not a big deal, and doesn’t signify anything more than Emanuel knowing an opportunity for personal power when he sees it.  I wouldn’t call this a sign of serious trouble at the White House, and neither does Mardell.  I won’t even say that he’s so biased in favor of his beloved Obamessiah that nothing short of finding the President in bed with either a dead woman or live boy would cause him to report that there was a hint of trouble in River City, so of course he doesn’t see Emanuel’s departure as much of a big deal.  He even mentions that other major players are jumping ship (Summers needs to quit so he doesn’t lose his pension at Harvard, so nothing significant there, either.  Axlerod is a campaign fixer, not someone useful for day-to-day operations in real life, so he’s going where he belongs.  Gates is a carry-over, job basically done anyways.)

For a split second, I thought Mardell was going to stop the smokescreen and propaganda.  He even expresses his disappointment in the way the President has run the shop:

The last three jobs are important in themselves. As for the others, they’re important if the president comes to feel he has fewer friends around. It is not exactly bunker White House yet, but if Mr Obama replaces them with more Chicago insiders it may feel increasingly like that.

This may be the strongest criticism you will ever see of the President by Mark Mardell.  Things must be really bad if Mardell is going to talk like he’s losing faith, even a little bit.  But then he picks himself up again.

One perceptive observer (link is in Mardell’s original: a JournoLista from the Washington Post, naturally) remarks that the Obama team does its job with a grudging sense of duty, rather than a fizz of excitement. He quotes Churchill that meeting FDR was “like uncorking a bottle of champagne”, and Churchill knew his champagne.

Oh, dear.  Is Mardell’s faith that shaken?  I think so, because he’s pulling the old

These days Mr Obama may seem more like the cod liver oil that is good for you, but certainly not taken for fun. Many of you have observed that Mr Obama’s problem is his policies, not his style. To some, that is obviously true. But it is the others, those who once were believers that matter. From the president’s point of a view, a new team which communicates a sense of verve would be no bad thing.

That’s right, Mark.  All He needs is a new set of messengers to tell the same old story.

Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard.

The Today Programme again: This morning discussing the discovery of DNA and the race between two teams from Kings College and Cambridge to map it first. One of the women on the KIngs team was Rosalind Franklin and her contribution to the discovery was underestimated until years later.

Discussing this with one of the scientists who worked on the team, Justin Webb repeatedley tried to argue that her contribution was not recognised fully because the male members of the team were sexist and that ‘in those days, these men couldnt’t handle a clever woman.’ or words to that effect. The old scientist said that he was aghast at any suggestion of sexism or discrimination against Rosamund Franklin, yet Webb carried on trying to insinuate that these men were somehow misogynistic.

The interview showed the BBC’s insidious methods of of trying to re-write history to fit in with their politically correct dogma. These clever, white, British scientists could not POSSIBLY have made one of the most startling scientific discoveries of all time without displaying some sort of bigotry, discrimination, in this case sexism towards one of their own team members.

This is a really amusing result.  What does “realistic” mean, exactly?  Apparently it means that many people are fed up with homosexuals being portrayed as champions of their sexuality and little else, and would like to be shown a world where everyone merely tolerates rather than celebrates, and homosexuals can discuss other things besides sexual orientation.  What a shock.  I bet it is to the Beeboids, anyway.

Hippiepooter, this is, I think, the essence of that argument you and I (and someone else, whom I’ve forgotten at the moment) were having a while back about, among other things, the way homosexuality is taught in schools (that doesn’t sound quite right, but you know what I mean).  I think we can both agree that there’s a big difference between tolerance and being forced to celebrate.  I believe we both support the former, but not the latter.

What’s great is that this argument of tolerance versus forced celebration can be applied to so many things the BBC promotes in the interests of Social Cohesion. The Beeboids are so detached from society that they actually had to do a study to figure this out.  I think it’s hilarious.

As for the BBC’s failure to realistically portray homosexuals, perhaps Evan Davis will have Iain Dale back in the studio to wink and nudge about how the straights just don’t get it.  That’s their failure in a nutshell right there, and it does no favors either to homosexuals or the vast majority of society who really just don’t care and don’t want to be forced to celebrate it.

I bet we can all list quite a few homosexuals at the BBC who are guilty of this attitude, across the spectrum of broadcasting.  The question now is: how are the Beeboids going to handle this?

The BBC are running a series called HARD TIMES, a series menat on the surface to investigate the aftermath of the global depression and the subsequent fiscal auterity measures.

Obviously the BBC just have to use what could have been a brilliant idea to pimp its political narrative and present its political friends in the best light placing them as angels waiting in the wings to save the people as the nasty fiscal conservatives slash and burn social spending models.

A day of action was called across the EU, it was meant to be a mass peoples protest but in fact only a few thousand from the whole of the EUs third of a billion people bothered turning up.
It was the usual suspects consisting of the usual rent a rabble, unviersal rage mob, far leftist/union rent a crowd who travel to every protest as if they had some kind of social calender, first its climate justice then save the trees then its onto social justice and bankers etc.
The day of action was a complete failure by any measure yet the BBC were wetting their panties and giving a few thousand leftists the airtime of their dreams.
The general strike in Spain went largely ignored so the rabble resorted to intimidation tactics trying to force people by violence to join the strike and even that bullying failed yet the BBC see nothing of the failures and the dirty tricks and planned violence and disruption and bullying.
The BBC are giving this tiny minority a massive media platform their numbers simply do not merit and we all know why dont we? Oooh yes it is because the narrative and the rent a rabble rouble makers have the same aim, the parasites are squealing like stuck pig and the squeling has nothing to do with OAPs etc its all about the selfish retention of the gravytrain and the cushy sincures and the power.

Absoluteley correct. I live in Spain, on the main road of a large city’s centre. Shops were open and people were out as if it were a weekend or a public holiday until the strikers marched through during the morning on an unauthorised demo. Shops closed out of fear and re-opened once the strikers had passed by. Shops that had closed had their shutters defaced with graffiti. One bar owner on TV complained that he had closed before midnight when the strike began but still had his window smashed.

Buses in Madrid running union aproved minimum services were still attacked and vandalised and drivers threatened.

Things were much worse in Barcelona.

In all more than 100 people arrested and 125 injured.

I haven’t listened to the Today programme on a regular basis for a while, but caught a little featurette-diguised-as-reportage this morning by Al-Bowen which was introduced by Naughtie using some tired, neo-leftist anti-Israel memes. Don’t know why it was included on a news programme, but basically it was about how some Palestinians thought it was all so unfair. I noted that Bowen doesn’t call the settlements Israeli but ‘Jewish’ which betrays where he is coming from.

Afterwards, Naughtie’s co-presenter Justin Webb closed the report by saying, in what seemed a artificially measured and dry tone, ‘Jeremy Bowen…in the Middle East’. It’s plain such pieces are a concession to Naughtie and Bowen’s obsession by the prog’s Editor, and are viewed as something of a comedy number by colleagues who don’t share their righteous passions.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

Actually, many of the settlers in certain areas are not Israeli citizens, but are Jews from elsewhere who have the equivalent of an Israeli green card.  My cousin and his wife are among them.  All their children were born in Israel, of course, so I don’t know how we label them for the purposes of this discussion.

Kind of splitting hairs, I know, but I don’t see it as inaccurate or totally dishonest (contrary to plenty of other things the BBC does) to refer to them as Jews rather than as Israelis.

The thing is, I’d like to ask Bowen if he thinks Jews should be allowed to live near Hebron, for example, within an official Palestinian state.

This BBC report about the new bill being put forth in the US House of Representatives to impose a tariff on Chinese imports if they keep the yuan so artificially low has two points of view:  the Chinese point of view, and the other Chinese point of view, which supports the first one.

“Using the [yuan] exchange rate issue as an excuse to engage in trade protectionism against China can only harm China-US trade and economic relations, and will have a negative effect on both countries’ economies and the world economy,” warned spokeswoman Jiang Yu, speaking at a regular press briefing.

She also urged US congressmen to “resist protectionism”.

Yes, please continue to let your constituents get screwed over and prop up the smoke and mirrors game which is the Chinese economy.

But speaking to China’s state-run news agency, Yao Jian, a spokesman for China’s Ministry of Commerce, said US attempts to use the exchange rate to justify trade restrictions would violate WTO rules.

He also warned that the US had as much to lose from a trade war as China, with China is now the US’s fastest-growing export market.

The Chinese government also argues that its trade surplus with the US does not demonstrate that the current yuan-dollar exchange rate gives it an unfair advantage, pointing out that it has similar trade surpluses with other Asian countries.

The US point of view?  Well, I suppose the bill itself is the US side of the story.  But what about someone talking about how much the US economy has been hurt over the years by China keeping its own currency so artificially low?  Why doesn’t the BBC think that a US voice would help the reader understand the situation?

The BBC won’t tell you about China’s real estate bubble or the massive corruption or anything else they do wrong that doesn’t involve their favorite exiled feudal lord, so I don’t expect them to honestly discuss this either.

Also, it’s pretty lame to blame a bank for being reckless for loaning money to a real estate company who presents them with a business plan to rent out the flats they’re building.  It’s not like these “buy-to-let” companies were insolvent from the start.  That industry was created outside of nasty bankers’ meetings.

    • Craig says:

One of those 28 was Martha Kearney. Her programme is regularly subtly anti-Tory.

Her introduction to today’s World at One quoted Labour MP Khalid Mahmood accusing Baroness Warsi of ‘Islamophobia’ for saying that the Conservatives could have lost 3 seats due to pro- Labour fraud in ‘Asian’-heavy constituencies (so he didn’t think she meant places with a large Thai, Chinese or Laotian population.)

When the interview came on later (which he shared with a Liberal Democrat, but no Conservative), his accusation was allowed to slip by without comment or challenge by Martha Kearney. Nor did she ever mention that Baroness Warsi is Muslim herself.

She then discussed the issue of election fraud with BBC election pundit Professor Phil Cowley. He doused a large bucket of cold water over Baroness Warsi’s remarks. The only specific example he cited of “dirty tricks” was by the Conservatives against the Liberal Democrats. (Prof. Cowley was on Radio 4’s Westminister Hour each week throughout the general election as one of two all-seeing commentators. The other was Nick Watt of the Guardian.)

The leftist/Marxist/fundamentalist socialist movements have the planned and measured use of violence and intimidation built into its political ideology and as history shows us they use violence and thuggery as a political tool wroking side by side with its political narrative.
Its well understood by everyone that leftists will smash windows, vandalise property and attempt to deny ordinary people the right to go about their lawful business with so called strike action and so called civil disobedience and so called direct action.

The BBC accepts the use of anti democratic thuggery by the left as part of the normal and acceptable field of political endeavour, the leftist mob can smash windows and burn things down and intimidate and bully the population at large.
Why does the BBC accept such tactics as normal when any violence form the right would be stamped on with fierceness and determination, the airwaves would be filled with commentators criticising and decrying the use of political violence.
The fact that the right wing wing do not use planned violence to pursue political aims is a testement to the right wings acceptance of civilised values but the BBC would be far less sympathetic if they did.
Why is it acceptable for some people to break the law, threaten people, smash things, disrupt peoples lives in the pursuit of political objectives? Why does the BBC offer tacit approval and support for such anti democratic criminality and casual use of violence to further political goals?

The use of violence to further political objectives is a union tactic that has caused no end of pain and suffering over the years and yet this kind of thuggery is still seen as acceptable, its not is it? Peaceful protests are the mark of a democracy, planned violence using the cover of protests is the mark of a sick twisted and perverted ideology.

You can tell The Obamessiah and the Democrats are in trouble in the polls, as Matt Frei has stepped up his scaremongering.  It’s another blog post where he’s read and been inspired to tell you about it.  This time, it’s from the JournoList-infested and Obamessiah-devoted Time.

A secret world of US militias

This is an utter joke.  These people have been around for decades.  Anyone remember Timothy McVeigh?  How about the movie “Red Dawn”? I remember reading about some silly militia people in Michigan during Poppy Bush’s Administration that the US Government was in league with the Soviets and were transporting Soviet tank to strategic positions in the US.

What really happend was that the US military was transporting a couple of tanks they had grabbed in East Berlin as the wall came down.  Apparently, the military base where they take apart and examine foreign hardware was in Michigan, and the military was moving them openly, uncovered, on a train through the area where a couple militia sillies were hanging out.  The Army was laughing out loud when the militias made a fuss because the whole point of moving these tanks openly was so that nobody would think there was something secret going on.

This was nearly 20 years ago, when a Republican and father of the evil warmongering cowboy war criminal.  Dick Cheney was part of the Administration then, too.  These people are mostly anti-government, full stop.  They were against both Bushes as well as Democrats.  The modern militia movement really got its big jolt during the 70s and the last decade of the Cold War.  There was a big crossover between the survivalist movement (freaking out about inevitable nuclear war) and the militia types.  It’s nothing to do with being against The Obamessiah or ObamaCare or Sarah Palin.  And the militia movement in the US is no secret.  Maybe it is to ignorant Beeboids who traipse across the US with the proverbial scented handkerchief held to their noses while they scowl at the locals for the cameras.

Yet Matt Frei wants you to think this is some newly-developed secret momvement from the far Right, the ugly flip side to the Tea Party coin.  He mentions the Tea Party movement in the same sentence specifically to discredit people like me. It’s an absolute lie.  Note how Frei Boy tries to tell you this is totally believable because the author wrote a negative book about the “unprecedented power” of pantomime villain Dick Cheney.

Matt Frei is dishonest, and cannot be trusted to cover US issues.

Unless, that is, they think you need a chance to hear Him reassure you that all is well.
