TALL TALES

Interesting story here.

ABC News apologises for running a story claiming that melting ice is making Mount Everest dangerous. But can you guess where ABC got the idea that this was true? Yes – the BBC! ABC has retracted the story. acknowledging it has no factual basis. The BBC remains mute. Lucky all that bias Mark Thompson now confirms lies in the past.

The BBC churns out the junk science, trash mumbo jumbo scare mongering rubbish by the bucket load. It isnt meant to make sense or be valid or even true, the output is simply meant to deluge the ariwaves like a tsunami so the little people out there in TV land see it and start to believe AGW isnt a giant fraud, its not about the truth and its not about honest reporting its all about pushing a phoney consensus down our throats to make it appear real.
If they stuck to known proven facts and ignored the ifs/mays/coulds and ridiculous models they would have nothing to report.
A wall of lies however phoney and dishonest can substitute for reality for a short time, the USSR found that out and the BBC are finding out the same thing.

THE BBC: WE LIE AND WE CHEAT, ITS WHAT WE DO!

David, the BBC doesn’t have to apologize for this.  Harrabin already said the IPCC made that single mistake, but that’s no reason to question the rest of their output, which is still perfect.  But they need to improve anyway, apparently.  The BBC is just innocently reporting what the “experts” tell them (like when Michael Mann emails a press release about his latest opus to Richard Black), trusting in science.  Surely the BBC cannot be held responsible for one mistake made by somebody else.

And if you believe that, I’ve got this bridge to sell you….

I wouldn’t worry too much Cassandra, clearly the British public have already seen the light (well, most of ’em) in terms of the AGW alarmists scares and are cocking a deaf ‘un to the BBC and anyone else who is still aboard the sinking SS Climate Change.

It’s fairly evident how the public regard this scam, and they don’y like it – not because of any political reason, but a). they don’t want to pay for it and b). nobody wants a few hundred windmills in their back yard.

The insisdious danger, however, is the way that the BBC and the government try to get at the kids, and brainwash them into thinking they shouldn’t be alive.  Thats what needs to be changed – urgently.
