CRIME DOES PAY…

A Biased BBC reader writes…

Last week the newsfeatured Ken Clarke’s sentencing proposals based on the premise that prisondoes not work. The UK public have been softened up for the last 30 years tobelieve this, to save money, and because the liberal left/anti prison lobbyhold sway. The proposals are that basically no one, apart from on extremelyrare occasions – burglars, thieves, robbers, or any other acquisitive criminalcan expect prison. Community punishment will be the order of the day.

Then this morning the BBC4 at 7.30am 6/7/2010 ran a piece that vast amounts offines imposed by magistrates courts as part of community sentences are simplynot paid. At no point during the questioning of someone from the LordChancellors Department was the link made by the interviewer between this andlast weeks proposal – Why?

Of course we all know why. The BBC believes that Prison does not work and so will turn reality on its head to try and spew forth such nonsense.

They take billions of pounds from the public annually and they cannot even make the simplest connection between two related issues (cannot or will not?).

Will David Cameron not address the BBC problem?

Pensioners with 45-year work histories struggling to pay their extortionate council tax will go to prison, or face very serious threat of it. Crime against your fellow man doesn’t matter. Crime against the State? Well, that’s another thing altogether…

As for the BBC’s beloved “Prison doesn’t work” line”, I think it very much depends on how we define the words “doesn’t work”. If it’s a case of removing violent criminals from the streets so we can go about our daily business in peace, it very much DOES work.  That’s what most right-minded people are looking for.

This is Cultural Marxism in action. A vulnerable population, in their minds, is a population willing to part with more and more freedoms and cash. Which of course, suits the Beeb.

I don’t even bother with telly anymore. However, I do resent the bullying that is applied to those who do (who may not even bother with the Beeb). Nobody – apart from the odd well-to-do Marxist – ever invited them to broadcast into our homes, so as far as I’m concerned they’ll get nothing for it.

      Exactamundo…

The BBC being Institutionally Leftist sets up the strawman argument that the only purpose of “prison” is to “rehabilitate” scumbags; therefore if prison FAILS to rehabilitate said scumbag, then it’s prison itself which is a failure.

It’s a meaningless self-fulfilling tautology. A circular argument that is formulated to prove their assumption of what prison does.

One might as well say “giving drivers points on their licence for speeding in cars, doesn’t work”

How so? Well, people still speed.

Or, “BBC poll tax licence detector vans don’t work”

The BBC doesn’t like the idea of wrongdoing being punished.  The idea might catch on and they’ll get dealt with for their bias.

Crime does pay if you’re a LIBYAN..

Has the BBC reported THIS yet.. an American friend (a hugely successful radio morning news/opinion show host) writes this on his blog…

More gullible westerners in the news. That’s the western world, not the western U.S. The murderous Muslim who plotted the blowing-up of a Pan-Am jumbo jet over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988 killing 270 people was released from prison in Scotland last year because the Scots naively believed the doctor who said the terrorist would die from cancer within three months of his release.
Ooops! Turns out his life expectancy now is…ten years or more.
And they’re laughing in Libya, where he now leads a pleasant life in his native land, as well as throughout the terror-supporting Muslim world.

Isn’t Amazing what happen when you leave the NHS — it’s the ENVY OF THE WORLD doncha know!!

Actually, the NHS has third world survival rates for prostrate cancer. Betcha they never mention THAT on the BBC.
