BBC "GUIDE" TO TERROR WORSHIP…

Have a read of this tribute by the BBC to Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah – a founding figure for the Hezbollah terror group. Note how he is described as being “a moderate” and indeed “a progressive”. OK, he loathed the USA, wanted to see the destruction of Israel BUT, on the other hand, he believed female masturbation was allowable. You can see why the BBC are in mourning.

The BBC article, including Jim Muir’s commentary, makes this Grand Ayatollah sound like a saint.

His “moderate social views” and “particularly progressive views on the role of women in Islamic society” sound fine (though “moderate” and “progressive” in comparison to what?), but the BBC article chooses not to mention some of his other views.

    Wikipedia quotes him as saying:

“This is what led German Chancellor Merkel to visit that plundering country (Israel!!), which extorted and continues to extort Germany, using as a pretext the German Hitlerist-Nazi past, and the placing of the Jews in a holocaust. Zionism has inflated the number of victims in this holocaust beyond imagination. They say there were six million Jews – not six million, not three million, or anything like that… But the world accepted this [figure], and it does not allow anyone to discuss this.”

So a Holocaust denier then. Fancy the BBC not pointing that out!

    Odd Freudian slip.

Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah was regarded as Hezbollah’s spiritual guide after the group was founded in 1982, a charge both denied.

    Expect stealth editing.

Agreed but then when one considers that Abbas did his “doctorate” in Holocaust Denial and the BBC see him as a Mandela figure, can we be surprised?

Yes, nothing makes the BBC’s position clearer than a comparison of its slippery profile of the slippery Abbas – especially the article’s treatment of the “charge”/”claim” by “some Jewish groups” of Holocaust denial – with what the man actually wrote in his book, which is there in black and white for all to see and which can’t ever be spun away by either Abbas or the BBC:

Yip – the sanitisation of Arafat’s right-hand man is key to the BBC. They loved ol’ Yasser and they do like our Mahmoud. Mind you, they also quite like Hamas, just tricker to make that bunch of Islamofascists look good.

I noticed that in the accompanying “Who are Hezbollah?” article, the BBC forgets to mention why Israel was in Lebanon in the first place.  The way it reads now, Hezbollah is a legitimate defense force against evil Israeli aggression and lust to expand their territory.  Typical.

I have posted this o the story – let you know if I get any response.
“I wonder why the BBC chooses to “honour” a man who was not for a peaceful resolution of the Middle East conflict and was a holocaust denier. In an interview with Al-Manar TV on March 21, 2008 (as translated by the MEMRI), Fadlallah stated that:
“The Hebrew state is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary – 60 years since it plundered Palestine – in a festival, which will be attended by the countries of the world, most of which still support the Jewish state and consider the resistance movement to be terrorism. This is what led German Chancellor Merkel to visit that plundering country, which extorted and continues to extort Germany, using as a pretext the German Hitlerist-Nazi past, and the placing of the Jews in a holocaust. Zionism has inflated the number of victims in this holocaust beyond imagination. They say there were six million Jews – not six million, not three million, or anything like that… But the world accepted this [figure], and it does not allow anyone to discuss this.”
The BBC should hang its head in shame. And no, I don’t expect this will be published but I trust those in the BBC reading it will reconsider this “glowing” tribute.

    The BBC is asking…

What is your reaction to the death of Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah? Send us your views using the postform below.

    I responded thus:

Best news I’ve had since England departed the world cup so ignominiously

    May he rot in hell.

I look forward to it appearing on the BBC website.

There must be a queue at the gates of Hell today, but the BBC continues to glorify terrorists, their idealogues and enablers!

    Obituary: Mohammed Oudeh

May they all rot in Hell, and their sons, their grandsons, and their great grandsons, to the seventh generation!

      As I always say…

“If you can’t say anything nice about a dead Islamo-Nazi terrorist, then you don’t work at the BBC! And never will!!”

  8. TrueToo says:

In its tireless quest to find the ultimate watered down weasel substitute for the word terrorist, the BBC has come close to its ideal in describing the ayatollah, on the World Service, as involved in armed opposition to Israel.

That description will be a tough one to beat.

Over the weekend on BBC World, I witnessed James Muir’s gushing tribute to the terrorist godfather, Fadlallah, together with the idiot Jeremy Bowan’s glowing tribute to all the good works Iran and Hezbollah are currently doing in southern Lebanon. All in all, a typical display of the type of contorted, sickening, pro-Islamist anti-Israeli tendentious reporting that the BBC does best.

Nice site and will be back for a breath of truth and sanity in world
gone left and over the cliff, for now.

Notice that he “masterminded” the terrorist attack on the Munich Olympics.  In the eyes of the BBC, anyone who kills Jews is a hero.

    Fadlallah Died Authorizing Suicide Bombings

One of Fadlallah’s last acts before he died was to issue a fatwa authorising the use of suicide bomb attacks. The mystery here is why he waited so long. For as a founder member of Hizbollah – he sat on the organisation’s ruling council – Fadlallah gave his personal approval to the massive suicide truck bomb attacks that levelled the American Embassy and Marine compound in Beirut in 1983, killing more than 300 people, including the then CIA station chief. Fadlallah gave his personal blessing to the suicide bombers before they left for their deadly mission.
