When Alan (I’m telling your story) Johnston was kidnapped in Gaza we never heard the end of it from the BBC.
But when whassisname was kidnapped, silence reigned.
Now Paul Martin’s been released, and Tom Gross offers an explanation.
Something to do with wanting to tell the truth.

I suspect the “whole country” including the great leader never knew this chap had been detained
Is it not possible that the situation has been exacerbated, if not created, by the poor level of unbiased journalism that has been the stock in trade of most news media for the past many years? I’m pleased the man is free from the clutches of hamas – a truly awful organisation – but why should we care, when the majority of journalists appear to be left-wing apologists for any atrocity carried out by muslims.
It shows the moral mess we’re in when a huge hulabaloo is not raised about such things. It will be extremely interesting to hear the story Mr Martin has to tell.

It’s been said that Martin is Jewish… that would explain the difference between his lak of coverage by the BBC.
