THE SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP..

…between the license-payer and the BBC does bring benefits to some people!

The lavish salaries of the BBC’s army of middle managers were disclosed for first time amid growing concerns over its spending. They included a series of advisers and strategists with titles such as ‘organisational development and change director’ on lucrative pay packages. Others included a £130,000 a year ‘outreach’ boss, a business continuity official on £117,000 and a ‘reward director’, themselves rewarded with a £196,000 salary.
Because they’re worth it?

On Radio 5 today there were plenty of Labour activists/Guardian journalists ringing in ‘pretending to be members of the public’ saying what a great job these people were doing and how they deserved every penny if not more.

I guess they all by their Cocaine from the same dealers so like to stick together.

Miss Thompson has been on a “journey of learning” So have we all us wretched tax payers.
Never try to defend the indefensible and the top BBC pay and expenses are just that.
    OMTE what do you think?
Perhaps B-BBC could send Mark Thompson a pack of Bic razors for Christmas. His close to a million pound pay does not seem to stretch to one.
For me that unshaven look is a sign of his real contempt for us all.
When this recession double dips into a depression, and it will, then this looting by the business and administrative class will come to an abrupt and messy end. They have had a good run but it is nearly over.

what about aunties special relationship with the Grauniad? 60% of their recruitment advertising spend plus hours  of free publicity for Britains second worst selling national daily.

The record outsells the grauniad and that is only available to one tenth of the population.

Looks like the middle class guilt that has so destroyed this country is now eating away at the BBC itself.  Subconsciously, they are so disgusted with themselves they are comitting media assisted suicide.

Need a hand Auntie?  Please ask.

High salaries for middle to top management are usually a way of justifying even more exhorbitant salaries at the top. Low salaries at the bottom are justified as competitive economic necessity.

That is the way of the world.

Sadly, when the purge comes (and it will), the guilty will get away with it scot free by being long gone and golden pensioned.

What will suffer is the already woeful output, sucked dry to fund these parasites, and then few genuine, talented broadcast workers seemingly too dumb to have seen what these clowns have done to their futures.
