Marvelous bit of predictable lefty statist propaganda courtesy of the dreadful Jim Naughtie this morning on the vile Today Prog. Feeling obliged to go on a foreign jolly at our expense, the dreary James Naughtie went to Denmark – "the world's happiest country". There Mr Naughtie explored what made Denmark so cheerful, hapy, prosperous and satisfied. And the answer? Socialism, of course! The great big state taxing the wealthy, creating perfect gender equality, great health care, prosperity all round… you get th picture.

The only slightly dissonant note was the idea (expressed sotto voce) that confience in this great high tax paradise required people to believe the system was for their nation, and some people – people who would like to kill the Danes who publish cartoons about various "prophets" for example – did not fit into that category, and this occasionally cuased, err, disuptions.

Of course, as is required by the disgustingly Dhimmi BBC, the word "Muslim" was never actually mentioned.

One supposes that Naughtie had at least 2 assistants. That's 3 people, on full exs, to fly around Denmark for a few days on a bike in order to dhow that socialism is trully utopian.

God I hate the vile BBC so much

The bBC airs two stories about preferential treatment in two different countries. One is deemed as racist while the other is deemed as just. Yet the policies under the microscope are very similar.Need I point out the country the bBC points out as racist?

I can exclusively reveal that Question Time last night was a complete setup. All audience members were vetted at the door to ensure they were lefties.

Clive James and Sayeeda Warsi weren't in fact present, the people you saw were left-wing stunt doubles.

Sickening bias. Call me a deluded loon but the whole things is rigged I tell ya!

Shadow cabinet minister Theresa May told BBC Radio 4's World at One: "It's a fantastic victory, for the Conservative Party and for Chloe Smith

She added: "We've overturned a Labour majority of 5,500 to a Conservative majority of over 7,000. If we hold this seat at the general election, we'll have a majority of over 100."

I assume the above is the comment being misquoted by Harman (without objection/interuption or clarification from the BBC News interviewer). Harman repeadedly said that the Tories were arrogantly stating that the GE was in the bag.

A consequence of Labour's policy of (and BBC approval of) mass immigration, 'multiculturalism' and dhimmitude:

    'Jihadwatch'

"UK: Muslims could get their own police force!"

    [Extract]:

"As Britain races headlong toward its own destruction, the latest from Absurd Britannia is the idea that one may only be arrested by members of one's own religion. The possibility that a Muslim police officer might cover for a Muslim criminal, in line with the Islamic teaching that one's loyalty to Islam trumps all other loyalties, does not enter into the considerations of the British authorities who are mulling this over. It is too politically incorrect an idea for them to contemplate."

Yesterday's Question Time came from Norwich.

Today they counted the votes in the Norwich North by-election.

The Conservative candidate received more than twice as many votes as the Labour candidate.

Would you have guessed that there were 2 Tories to every 1 Labour supporter in Norwich from the QT audience?

    No, nor me neither.

The Telegraph is fond of publishing items about the BBC.
Yesterday David Hughes the chief political writer who “has been covering British politics for 30 Years” has written an article entitled “The BBC is treating Labour like the Royal family.” He writes that an item on the BBC news web site “could have been put together by Labour Party HQ.” He ends by advising the BBC to “at least try not to make it so obvious.”
I disagree. The more obvious the better.
In this instance the quote marks actually denote quotes.

BBC drama department's obsession with anti-American themes struck again last night – with a vegneance – in the previously harmless series New Tricks. The plot was that the CIA – who post 9/9 had roamed streets in Britain nabbing terrorist suspects to take to Gitmo – had also mounted a massive cover-up operation which involved random murder, torching and intimidation. Amanda Redman's character was so insensed by the Bush atrocities that she almost acted herself into a heart attack.
And the American service chief? Well, of course, he was a one-dimensional idiot.

Now we know what the BBC drama chief meant when he said he wanted left of centre thinking. This could have come straight from the political aghitators' hand book.

I notice on the BBC report on the increase (or should I say continuing increase) in antisemitism in Britain there is no indication of where this racism is coming from. The BBC suggests a 'justification' in the 'link' with the outrage generated by the zio-fascist bombing of Gaza….So thats OK then.

Mind you I am still wondering if all these anti-jewish attacks are the arising out of the election of messers Griffin and Brons…. (surely no co-incidence) or from some deeply antisemitic elements of our society that are not easily identifiable as ideologically unsound

Just remember how your Communist heroes used to deal with any dissent, if indeed you are a communist and not just a bored A level student trying to piss off a few 'dangerous right wingers'.

Remember the promise of a material paradise on earth and universal justice held out by the Communist Party of the USSR and compare it with the sickening lies, paranoia, arbitrary arrest, poverty, death and opression that was the reality. People claiming to be communists sicken me in the same way someone proudly proclaiming themselves a Nazi would.

Let me ask you this – where would you have rather lived in 1934, the 'workers paradise' or in evil capitalist oppressed Halifax? How many British Trade unionists ended up in the gulag? Only the tossers who thought life would be better in the USSR and who were promptly sent of to Norilsk for a richly deserved 25 years in the Nickel mines.

I sent the following complaint to the BBC via e-mail:

"The article on "Iran plane fire kills at least 16" published on July 24, 2009 contains this statement:

"Sanctions imposed on the country by the US mean both public and private airlines rely on ageing fleets and have trouble sourcing replacement parts, says the BBC's Jon Leyne."

This has absolutely no relevance to this event.

The plane which caught fire is a Russian-built Ilyushin. Spare parts for this aircraft are freely available from the Russian manufacturer or from other sources. There is no reason at all to believe that US sanctions against Iran led to this fire.

The statement is a canned statement which has been re-cycled from at least one other BBC article on Iranian airplane accidents.

Its inclusion in this story would appear to be an editorial comment inserted by the writer of the article apparently in opposition to US foreign policy regarding Iran.

The BBC should report the news and refrain from making false and irrelevant editorial statements."

I don't expect to get an an answer back, though I do expect to see Mr. Leyne's canned statement to be re-used by the BBC whenever a Russian-built plane crashes in Iran.

There's alot of wriggling and contorting over here about the continuing saga of the chippy pseudo-intellectual, and very much hysterical, black "professor" Henry Louis Gates.
You may recall the BBC reporting it as this:
    Black scholar arrest angers Obama.
    http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8164862.stm
The BBC even pubished a story saying that the police had apologised
Row over US black scholar arrest.
Police have apologised to a black Harvard scholar whose arrest last week on his own front doorstep sparked allegations of racism.

Well no BBC they haven't apologised. Far from it.

Now the BBC are back pedalling just like Obama.
    Now they are reporting:
    Obama regrets 'stupid' comments .
    http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8168313.stm

What the BBC aren't running with is this:

Cambridge police demand apology from Barack Obama over 'stupid' comments .
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/5902222/Cambridge-police-demand-apology-from-Barack-Obama-over-stupid-comments.html

    And this:
Sgt. Crowley talks one-on-one with 7's Kim Khazei.
    http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/local/BO119845/

The police are considering releasing the tapes of Gates going into an hysterica racist tirade.

All the TV reports over here are labelling Gates as a Grada A tosser.
One of the arresting officers is a black police sergeant. He's been on the TV back his white colleague to the hilt.
The BBC? Not keeping up with the story as usual.

Iran has a notoriously bad air safety record.

I don't know if anyone here happened to catch "Shappi Talk" on Radio 4 the other evening. It was advertised as a comedy and young Shappi, an Iranian lady, was going to talk humorously about religion. Like most R4 comedies these days it was about as funny as swine flu, but it did do its best to tick all of the diversity boxes. One of her guest comics was a gay Hindu and the other, for no discernable reason that I could fathom, was Ken Livingstone. This hideous creature has never tickled my funny bone and he only appeared to have been invited so that they could both slag off Daily Mail readers for two minutes. Shappi gushed "I can hardly believe I'm sitting in Ken Livingstone's kitchen"…she wasn't the only one.
The most startling aspect of the entire pc lovefest was the reaction of the audience, whooping and shrieking hysterically at every banal, right on quip that anyone made. They sounded quite demented. You wouldn't want to be stuck in a lift with any of them.

    TPO,

The BBC report mentioned the "eminent" Harvard professor Henry Gates, huuuh, eminent eh?

Whats the narrative and whats the real story, the real question is did this race baiter deliberately provoke the police into arresting him to provide Gates with his cherished black victim of white racism status?
Gates is no stranger to race baiting, he may be considered a racist and if the tapes are released it will certainly blow Gates' story wide open.
Heres what I think happened, Gates plans a fake break in at his house with a witness, he waits untill neighbours call the police and when the police arrive to investigate he launches into a a preplanned racist tirade egging the officers into arresting him, shouting and screaming, issuing insulting and defamatory remarks and being agressive.
I hope, I really hope the tapes are released, perhaps Obamas weasel words was an attempt to head off the highly embarrasing evidence being released, he did shoot his ignorant mouth off before he knew the facts didnt he?
Typical black power instant white guilt, the black man is always the victim and the white cop is always the racist thug, the race baiting industry has used this meme to great effect, the victimhood culture has led to certain race baiters becoming very wealthy and powerful in the US.
Obamas mistake was the kneejerk ignorant presumption that the black man was right and the white cop was wrong, oooops big mistake there from the POTUS, being president actually means you have to think before opening the cakehole, the half caste president should have been a symbol of black and white coming together, instead he exhibits the same racist, bigoted behaviour of his black power race industry backers.

The BBC brings you ONE side of the story only and guess which side that is!
