THOSE JAKARTA "ATTACKERS"

So, Islamist homicide bombers detonate themselves in two hotels in Jakarta brutally killing several innocent people. The BBC reports this as the act of “attackers” – wonder if the word Jihadist is banned by those sensitive souls at the Beeb? Perhaps the people just “died”?

Perhaps you have knowledge of the incident that the BBC doesn't David?:

'No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blasts'.

But here's a few things the article does mention:

'At least nine people have been killed, including two suspected suicide bombers'

'Indonesia suffered a number of bomb attacks – mainly linked to the militant group Jemaah Islamiah – in the first years of the century,'

'President Yudhoyono said Friday's attacks were carried out by a suspected terrorist group, though he said it was "too early to say" if Jemaah Islamiah was involved.'

'The country of 240 million people has been praised in recent years for maintaining a pluralist democracy while finding and punishing radical Islamists responsible for a series of bombings more than five years ago.'

    Anon,

Well, it could be right-wing extremists I suppose but then again, given that every other act of mass terrorism has been carried out by Islamic terrorists in Indonesia, I figure I am right. And then again, which FAITH encourages Jihad? Mmmmm…it's such a toughie. Still, they remain "attackers"….

    It should be.

    The correct word is 'mujahid'.

But the beeboids don't use that either.

If you are speaking Arabic perhaps. But in English it would be an unnecessary Arabism. We don't talk of "guerrilleros" in English, for example, but "guerrillas" or "guerrilla fighters". "Mujahid" in English sounds to me self-conscious at best and sympathetic at worst.

As for "homicide bomber", this is a strange one. Surely most terrorist bombings are intended to murder (apart from those merely intended to cause damage or disruption, or the cases where the terrorists are caught and claim they were not intending to harm anyone in an attempt to get lenient treatment). This applies whether the attacker must necessarily die for the attack to succeed or not.

If one doesn't like "suicide bomber" (and I see no reason to avoid it, as to most people it carries no sympathetic connotations) what are the alternatives? Perhaps "self-detonating bomber"?

Ed – whilst I do see your point, I always use 'homicide bomber' when describing these 'splodeydopes' at my blog.

The reason? Emphasis. They are always seeking to murder. The prime objective is not to kill themselves (although they've been persuaded that this is a bonus). It is to lay to waste as many people as possible in as spectacular a manner as possible.

Why should the emphasis be placed on what they're doing to themselves? By this time, they are irrelevant – to us and their 'mentors'.

Jihad is a peaceful inner struggle. Or something. Similarly, Islam is a religion of peace, tolerance, respect and free Skittles for one and all. Ipso facto, this must've been done by those filthy hook-nosed, gold-digging, Jesus-killing sons of pigs and apes, to make Muslims seem like violent savage throwbacks for some reason. Join RESPECT or the Green Party or the Socialist Workers Party and let's send those Red Sea Pedestrians to the ovens (again), make them into candles and lampshades (again), so that we can live in peace, harmony and Shariah law.

    Interesting post Robert S McNamara,
does anyone know how these lefties managed to convince the gays & the Jews they were on their side for so long ?
Now they can openly support islam they can really show their hatred for both groups ,being gay or Jewish really seems to be the worst insult (to them)they can hurl at their opponents doesn't it.

Chatting as one does, with a bloke of Lebanese origin I know distantly, the subject turned to Middle East politics, which funnily had not come up before. In all seriousness he explained to me he could solve the problem of Palestine "in only 24hours"…

What followed was a litany of jew-hatred I had never before heard face to face. The Holocaust was "an exaggeration", of interest mainly only to BNP-types, Israelis are gangsters, Islam is misunderstood, Hezzbolah are good guys, Obama is trying the best he can with the result, he predicted, the Israelis will have him "taken out" . At that point I gave up.

This country hides a lot of hatred under a thin veneer of tolerance.
This has been made much much worse by the fact that we can't express ourselves through the democratic process.
I remember the unpunished riots in Leeds back in the 80's, and I fear there will be more and worse unless they start listening to us (and I mean all of us).
This is made worse by the fact the national press seems to have it's own distant pro-liberal agenda.
You could argue that if a govt wanted to get rid of liberality it couldn't do a better job, aided + abbetted by a vacant BBC.

Apart from the BBC's self-imposed sanitised vocabulary, avoiding the accurate phrase 'Islamic jihadists', the BBC reporting on Indonesia is made to suggest, misleadingly, that Indonesian society is a wonderfully 'pluralistic democracy', echoing Obama on his recent visit there.

While it is true that in the most recent Indonesian election, support for the Islam-based party 'Prosperous Justice Party', PKS fell to 20%, the activities of the Islamic jihad supporting Jemaah Islamiah outfit (probably connected to the Jakarta bombings), and those of Hizb ut-Tahrir continue to be very significant in Indonesia.

Here's an extract from an article by Sadanand Dhume (author of 'My Friend the Fanatic: Travels with an Indonesian Islamist'):

"It will take much more than a single election to dent PKS’s access to Saudi funding and its network of supportive mosques and madrassas, or to diminish the appeal for many newly educated Indonesians of its starkly utopian message: Islam is the solution.

"Since it first burst into prominence five years ago, PKS has done little to dispel fears that it is the dark bloom at the heart of Indonesia’s democratic flowering. Party leaders are outspoken supporters of Abu Bakar Bashir, the spiritual head of Jemaah Islamiyah, the terrorist group responsible for suicide bombing in Bali that killed hundreds. Last year, PKS piloted through parliament a harsh antipornography bill that legalizes vigilante violence and forces non-Islamic communities to conform to conservative Islamic norms.

"The party’s attitudes toward women’s rights are captured by its obsession with dress codes and outspoken support for polygamy. In a country long famous for a pragmatic foreign policy, PKS makes emotive appeals to pan-Islamic causes such as Palestine. Among the party rank and file, 9/11 conspiracy theories, anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism are rampant."

Can't find this on the Beeb website, but if I were a BBC leftie feminist liberal I would be running with this story, which after all has only got CULTURAL connotations…hasn't it?

"A 23-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman from Pollard Park, Bradford – believed to be Sana’s husband and his mother – were arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Detectives continue to question two further people arrested, a 28-year-old man and 25-year-old woman from Peel Park, Bradford, who are understood to be Sana’s brother-in-law and his wife.

Sana, from Rawalpindi, married her Bradford husband in an arranged marriage in Pakistan four years ago.
She endured a strict and stifling regime from her husband and his family, to such an extent that she was given no privacy and on the rare occasions she was allowed to leave the family home, she was closely chaperoned.

Her every move was watched, including what she did and who she spoke to.

But the BBC only spends umpteen millions a year on its local news services, on air and online. It is most unfair of you to expect them to be aware of that story and to cover it in their regional pages. Heck – it is only a murder, that looks uncannily like Islamic honour killing.

This BBC updated report relating to the Jakarta jihad (that word is used) is certainly a big improvement:-

    "Profile: Noordin Mohamed Top"

    ('Asia-Pacific' page).

Such is the global nature of Islamic jihad that it is not surprising to find in the BBC report that a key conspirator in the ongoing Indonesian jihad, Azahari Husin -was, until his violent death- an ex-'mature' engineering student at Reading University, England:

    [Extract]:

"Noordin had fled to Indonesia with Azahari Husin after the Malaysian government cracked down on Islamists following the 11 September 2001 attacks on the US.

"Once in Indonesia, he got married using an assumed name, Abdurrachman Aufi.

"His wife, Munfiatun, was jailed in June 2005 for concealing information about his whereabouts.

"The two men are thought to have acted together to plan attacks, with Noordin as the financier and Azahari as the bomb-maker. Newspapers dubbed them the "Money Man" and the "Demolition Man".

"In addition to the two Bali bombings, both men were named as suspects in two other major attacks – one in 2003 on Jakarta's JW Marriott hotel which killed 12 people, and one on the Australian embassy in 2004 which killed 11 people.

"Indonesian troops finally cornered Azahari, a trained engineer and former university lecturer who in 1990 gained a doctorate from the UK's University of Reading, at a house in East Java in November 2005.

"The father of two was killed, either by a police bullet or by a bomb triggered by an accomplice.

"But Noordin has continued to evade capture. "

I do, but you are not going to like it.

Leftism, or what is more commonly known as Radicalism, is an agenda which is spread down the line starting first in our top universities. Like for example Oxford and Cambridge.

These universities have extremely close links to our OWN BRITISH ESTABLISHMENT, and have done since they were first set up during the middle ages.

They receive now, as they did then, massive amounts of cash from our RULING CLASS ELITES though tax free charitable foundations. The vast majority of these 'bribes' now come from the owners of The International BANKING SYSTEM. Which was once known as The Firm, The Company, or The British Empire.

These were the same people/families that very largely financed the setting up of the current State of Israel. The Rothschilds are known by Israelis as The founding fathers of their country, and are self confessed Zionists, for obvious reasons.

They have as a family always pretended to be Jewish, but in fact stopped being so, at least 100 years ago. This because they long since married themselves into the aristocracy of this country and the rest of Europe. The Queen of England for example is closely related to the Rothschilds. Who are also her bank managers and financial advisers. As they are also the Popes. By this I do not just mean their personal bank managers. This Family almost control the entire wealth of the western world, and much of the rest of it, including that of China, Africa, South America, India, and Russia.

From 48 onwards Zionism was cleverly MADE trendy, within our top universities. Israel was then as it is now, a SOCIALIST country. Therefore this was a relatively easy con to pull off. Such is these peoples control of the thinking of so called radical politics, and by implication The BBC's as well. They plant the seed at the top, and then wait a generation or two, for the nasty weed to grow downwards.

    Got is so far?

Ok, so I will continue, even though I know you don't really understand a word of it, and like it even less.

At some point, I guess around the mid seventies, an opposite, and far more dangerous seed was planted at the same place, BY THE SAME PEOPLE. Which is now baring its poisonous fruit.

The reason for this is very much up for speculation. However the following may help you make a more informed guess then the BBC will ever allow you to make.

The British establishment in particular have their very dirty fingers in many very evil corporate pies. Many/ almost ALL of these have a direct interest in the continued existence of armed conflicts.

Which of course, post Cold War, gives them a big problem.

Which is; how to keep themselves and their highly valued clients where they are, and us as far back down here as they can possibly manage. Their problem is not so much money, as they have all of that already. What these people need is forever more CONTROL of the worlds population.

I could go on to mention AGW as a Rothschilds answer to a lack of enough wars in the world. But I think you all think I am mad enough already.

However make no mistake, Lord Rothschilds son is not the head, and himself by far and away the largest promoter, and financial contributor ( or should I say INVESTOR ) towards the entire Ecology Movement, because of some kind of accident or curious coincidence.

It makes me wonder why revolutionary communists don't just move from capitalist countries.

The answer to that is simple.

They are shit in so many ways, there is not enough time in a lifetime, to properly list all of the utter shittyness. I should know I have visited ALL of them.

I wish you to consider this.

ALL revolutions require planning, vast amounts of cash, and international backing, especially from the International banking system, to survive more then a few months.

This is as true about The French, Chinese, Glorious, and Russian revolutions, as it is for the Cuban revolution.

The important thing to remember is that true power comes from controlling natural resources, such as GOLD, Diamonds, Oil, etc, and above all the minds and therefore produce of productive human beings.

The capitalist system as we currently have it, does not need to control governments, although it much prefers to do so. That which controls the MONEY, controls everything ANYWAY. That includes Castro, as much as it includes Gordon Brown, or any other dishonest despot.

The above is not a conspiracy theory, it is a TRUISM, if ever there was one. Just ask any top Banker, if you don't believe me. You can start by asking The Rockafellas, who have stated as much, in public, many times in the past.

Do you really still believe that Cuba is really what we have been told it is?

Do you really believe the CIA seriously attempted to assassinate Castro 60 odd times, and still failed?

I can absolutely assure you, that IF the CIA wanted to assassinate anyone on this entire planet, it or its related secret services, would never have taken more then two attempts to do so. The CIA may have cocked-up once, they have never cocked-up twice at the same job.

Castro was TRAINED and financed by the CIA. This again is not a conspiracy theory, this is very well documented historical fact. Deal with it, instead of hiding your head in establishment BBC inspired, and propagated dis-information.

There is a very good reason why the Cuban revolution happened. To me the reasons are self apparent. It was done to permanently intimidate the American Public into subservience to their own effective enslavement. Which is exactly what it has done. American enslavement may be relatively much preferable to Cuban enslavement, I grant you in spades. But enslavement is still enslavement, lies are still lies, vicious manipulation is still vicious manipulation, and truth is still truth.
