Everyone should click through and review the story, especially “Red Lepond”- and anyone who actually thinks the BBC never enforce their license tax. They do. With force of arrest, imprisonment and court process.
I can’t believe the level of unpleasantness involved- but actually I can all too easily. We urgently need to get to a state where if the case is a civil one, it should be conducted civilly and not with night arrests and handcuffs. We also urgently need to abolish the BBC stranglehold.
This story is totally shocking. The BBC are busy running stories about police behaviour at the G20 when they know full well that Police heavy-handedness takes place daily to preserve their existence. Hypocrisy, thy name is BBC.
That’s really shocking ! Is it a wind up ?
Why is there no mention of this in the MSM ?
There are a few anti tv tax websites & (as far as I know) none knew about it (now posted here http://tvlicenceresistance.info/forum/ )
Sounds like a reason to join the countrywide anti-bbc protests on 4th May .
The question is – what is the legal position? I’ve been informed here that licensing people need to gain access to your property to determine the presence of televisual receiving equipment. Why didn’t that apply here?
The bbc’s salesmen (aka enforcement officers) have been known to make up evidence & lie to get their commission .

Laban, this says more about the police than about TV Licensing (which is quite bad enough).
Perhaps all those on other threads would like to reconsider their positions.
