Been too busy to blog but just wondered did anyone else hear John Prescott being interviewed this morning on Today? Only the BBC would consider Prezza as a suitable candidate with which to discuss rewarding parasitic fatcats. Do you think they were doing irony? Suffice to say Prezza gave his usual socialism uber alles speech, lovingly lapped up by the BBC.
John Prescott suggested that if no legal means could be found to stop Fred the Shred’s pension, it should simply not be paid and let him sue. He wasn’t challenged.
So a former deputy Prime Minister thinks it’s OK to ignore laws we don’t like. Presumably then he would accept we can all do that?
Perhaps we could send him a list…

of course prezza is the perfect person to attack the fat cats, “EEH was WOOON OF OOOS” he spent time as a cabin boy so clearly knows how the working classes feel
his other life as a fat freeloading thugish minister allow him to understand how the fats cats feel too!!

Just a question? How do you square this with the fact that the BBC have been biased against Prescott for years? During his years as deputy PM he was a constant figure of mockery, and most people only knew him in relation to pie jokes. He was labelled by the BBC (and rest of the media) as a ‘typical’ fat northerner, socialist to the core, loud, obnoxious, and unintelligent. This is certainly the view portrayed by the mainstream media. It accelerated of course after he punched that chap. He was clearly treated this way because people were looking for the ‘class’ prism, and he was singled out as being ‘working class’. Even though he wasn’t – as we all know!
Just wondered what you’re thoughts were about this.

A perfect example,crimes against the individual are punished less severely than crimes against the confiscatory laws of the state.
