Towards the end, they have the subheading:

    Israeli divisions?

Except, of course, they don’t mention any divisions at all…

On Wednesday, Israel continued to bombard the Gaza Strip and residents spoke of heavy machine-gun fire as Israeli troops fought Hamas gunmen near Gaza City.

Meanwhile, three rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona, landing on open ground.

No casualties or damage were reported.

In another development, a newly-released audiotape said to feature the voice of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has called for a holy war to stop the Israeli offensive in Gaza.

The authenticity of the tape, posted on a number of Islamic militant websites, could not be independently verified.

Humanitarian concerns have increased amid the fighting, although some aid is getting through to Gaza during daily three-hour lulls Israel has allowed to let in supplies.

If somebody was scrolling through the piece, they might just note the heading and assume the Israelis are divided. This would fit nicely with the BBC’s ‘this all about votes’ narrative. Of course, it could just as easily be sloppy ‘journalism’.

Thanks, very funny, you obviously have to try and see it from a different culture point of view, but the BBC references make it worth while. I think if you ever showed something like that on British telly, without preparatory explanation, you would find you would get a laugh, strange that no one is trying.

True comedy is close to the truth and this sketch is as close to true as its possible to get!
The unbearable shame of having the BBC represent the British nation is more than I can bear, a grubby political front and terrorist appologist inciting hatred and murder, the rightful aires to Der Sturmer has come of age?

That is a wonderful piss-take of the BBC and great to know that the Israelis realise that the BBC are just as much an enemy of Israel as Hamas.

Every time I come back to this page I keep thinking the caption on the video clip reads “Shtreimel people”.

Not a bad euphemism for Hassidim, actually.

At lunch time and in the bar we had the telly on.
News 24 and at 1300hrs the bBC was running with the UN story.
As we were leaving the bBC aired a film clip of a woman who was running through the strets of Gaza. I turned round and shouted out.
“Christ she looks like Brians mother out of “The Life of Brian”
Well the whole place errupted with laughter and everybody started taking the piss.
I’m not saying people are not having a hard time in Gaza. But 1000 people dead in what 16 days. Yeah sounds like somebody is taking the Piss. Maybe that is why most people I know just can’t be bothered listening to the crys of war crimes from Al Beeb.
I just dread to think what Al Beeb will drag out next?

Gosh look at me posting hate and bile at Islam. I wonder how I got to this stage bBC?

I didn’t watch the video. I’ve seen enough wailing Arab tonsils to take an advanced degree in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery.
