QUESTION TIME LIVE!

So tonight is the night when Biased BBC goes live with real-time coverage of Question Time. Have a look at the panel, and weep. Or laugh. We have the ludicrous Jim Knight, the appalling Lembit Opik, Mr Smug himself Will Self, Jungle Bunny Ester Rantzen, and conservative Nadine Dorres. 5:1, I think is the ratio, so it’s important that WE are all on air to offer a little balance! Hope you can join me at 10.30pm when the we shall go live, should be a fun experiment and I will be ready and waiting…..bear with me if there any technical problems, this is a first at my end as well!!

    David,
Yep, looks like 5:1, including Dimblebore. Pathetic really.
I am a little confused (not unusual !), by what is meant by “real-time live”. Surely not “live” at 10:30 ? I can’t see the BBC passing up the opportunity of editing the programme !

    Grant,

It just means we can comment instantly, without having to post, via the on-screen icon that shall magically appear later on at 10.30pm! Means we can be instantly on the button, and that we can a good old evisceration of this most prestigious and biased of BBC programmes! I’m a little nervous as to how it will work but it should be quicker than this business of having to type, post, and publish.

Actually, I always had Esther Rantzen as being vaguely right-of-centre.

I honestly don’t know how anyone can watch that appalling programme!

What kind of person watches QT? The type of person attracted to BBC TV is hardly likely to want to watch even such a crass attempt at a political discussion. There’s bound to be another channel showing their preferred fare of soaps, celebrity talent shows, cops/robbers/doctors/nurses dramas when QT is on. That’s why QT gets such a small audience.

It’s going to be ‘pick on Dorres’ night. She’s a good MP, and is actually further right than many other Conservative MPs, but she’s not the most eloquent or gifted performer on things like this. Self is going to throw his usual array of big words at her to make her look stupid, when she’ll probably make perfectly valid points. I hate Will Self – just thought I’d mention that 😉

BBC Scotland have went a step to far recently, and have invoked a huge reaction from Rangers FC supporters. They will be demonstrating outside the Glasgow HQ on Saturday 20th December, for their bias, bigotry and anti British propoganda.

The BBC have shown their true anti British/Unionist mentality for years in Scotland, due to right on, liberal Britain haters in control at Pacific Quay.

Well no more I’m afraid, Rangers fans are taking up the mantle and will be conducting a peaceful demo, right on their front doorstep.

Could you expand on what BBC Scotland have done to annoy one of the Ugly Sisters?

Does it really behove Rangers supporters to complain about bigotry?

I think you’d better read what it says on the packet carefully. I have a horrible feeling that you are going to have to moderate and publish every comment manually yourself if you are the designated ‘writer’.

This is a good idea and all, but it’ll be a cold day in Hell before I sit through an episode of QT again. The last time I saw it, poor Douglas Murray was doing his best to warn us about the dangers of Islamo-fascism and he was being verbally assaulted by the audience and the panel, one of which was that heavy-weight giant in the field of political philosophy, Davina McCall.

That’s when I came to the conclusion: Why bother?

I stopped watching Q Time years ago, but since finding this blog I have started watching it again, as I find it quite amusing if I read the blogs at the same time, ie live. It sort of cancels out the bias and makes the lefty panelists look so ridiculous. Of course if the internet were down I would turn off.
So, David Vance, you are helping their ratings, but not in a way they would like.

Funny, I was going to post the same. I gave up watching QT years ago when it had already become a parody of itself and only started watching again as a result of this website and the , often hilarious, comments here.
Just wish QT was on a bit earlier as I am usually tucked up with my hot chocolate by 10:30.
Guess it will have to be a glass of wine tonight !
Speaking of which , what happened to Mikey Whitewiney ?
Anyway, David, good luck with the technology tonight !

    O/T but ….

What TF are the BBC trying to tell us about the arrest of al-Qaeda terrorists in Belgium?

First they give it to us straight:

Belgian police say they have detained 14 people suspected of being members of the al-Qaeda network.

    But then there’s:

The BBC’s Jonny Dymond in Brussels says the investigation that led to the detentions appears to have been at least a year old.

    So?

Last December, 14 people arrested by Belgian police on suspicion of plotting to free a convicted al-Qaeda member were released without charge.

Okay, I get it. While the rest of the world’s media are prepared to treat this as a genuine terror plot to attack an EU Summit that’s been foiled by the Police, the BBC reckons it knows better and that like Captain Reynaud’s force in Casablanca, the Belgian plod are just rounding up the usual suspects.

    The arrogance is breathtaking.

    4) Tony “Baldrick” Robinson
    5) Carl “I was right all along” Marx

Lots of people say that. The fanciable part, I mean. Obviously I’m in a minority, but to me she just looks like an Indian boy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it most certainly doesn’t make my pants tight.

I’ve got to bring the BBC 6PM new up here.

    1. The pound having gone down the toilet bowl. But the BBC bigs up some crappy company that exports the odd London taxi to europe as a ‘good sign’

    For fucks sake!!!

    2. Then we have my favourite BBC dickhead Mark Easton (Sheena Easton would do a better job) wanking on about the ‘reduction in knife crime figures’ that er….. actually isn’t a knife crime reduction at all. But never let the truth get in the way of pro Liebour spin hey Easton?

    3. Then the Irish issue over Lisbon. Throughout the whole piece the beeboids referred to Ireland as being in RECESSION. Not once was ‘downturn’ mentioned.

Notice how any Country that annoys the BBC (Ireland for telling the fat corrupt rent boys users of europe to fuck off and of course the hated infidels of America) is in recession, but of course here in the UK we are in a glorious downturn with that man who saved the world (his words not mine) leading us to further glory (or not)

    4. The BBC pissing all over the Germans (after all what the fuck do they know about economic stability?) who dared to belittle the fat one eyed twat.

The BBC, it just gets worse and worse.

Oh and finally (yes there’s more) we have the BBC taking a dig at Simon Cowell and the X-Factor being No1 at Christmas.

So what do the BBC offer? Terry fucking Wogan and the One Show with some utter bile.

Maybe Vance should put a poll up so we can all vote on what the consensus as to Ms. Chakrabarti’s sexual attractiveness is. Hell, maybe it’ll even attract her attention. Then she can find out exactly what we think about her dangerous, morally inverted organisation, of which I know for a fact my opinion is the majority one. On this forum at least.

    Nope, still not seeing it.

Shami Chakrabarti is very annoying. I heard her being interviewed on the world service recently, she seemed to have an inappropriate attachment to her parents. Hence her immature politics. Apparently she is a mother herself, but she is still a smug self obsessed pixie.

People, specially politicians, who appear on HIGNFY look foolish when they delude themselves that they’re smart enough to sneer-alonga-Ian.
