HAVING A LAUGH?

Interesting to note that on the main BBC news portal this morning is the truly momentous headline that “The spoof Sarah Palin is boosting comedy ratings.” This is all part of the BBC’s carefully contrived determination to assassinate Sarah Palin’s character. Yesterday she was labelled as having abused power, now today she is mocked and ridiculed. Palin takes the Tina Fey spoofery in good spirits of course but the malignant BBC agenda in play here is to reduce Palin to a parody of herself so she can then be damned on just about every BBC political programme with a venom that is truly remarkable to witness. She appears to have the ability to drive the BBC and it cast of courtier eunuchs way beyond the point of even a pretence of balance.

Wonder it doesn’t seem the Beeb has made a story of this:

“Over 70 percent of CEOs fear an Obama presidency will be a disaster”

I’m pretty sure this would be covered prominently were the results different.

The Daily Show had a very funny excerpt from Fox where one of the presenters was going on at some length about how Newsweek’s cover bearing Palin’s picture was part of the liberal media conspiracy to demean and defeat her. Showed lines on her face apparently.

The Gabby Logan show has just concluded a Palin-bashing segment (complete with lies about banned library books). I believe it might be editorial policy for all BBC programmes now. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear the following on the Tellytubbies:
“Oh look it’s Tinky Winky. You’d better not let Sarah Palin see you with that handbag Tinky Winky. She might get her big gun and shoot you for being gay.”

It’s fascinating watching this take place – seeing how the Left falls into lockstep to cast and then mass produce an image which becomes the popular wisdom.

The last time I saw it happen to obviously was with the ‘Bush is a moron’ campaign.

When the history of the BBC comes to be written…

  8. The developing Palin Derangement Syndrome as being advanced by the BBC and the leftist media leads me to suspect that, secretly, some or even all of the BBC’s ‘comedians’ must be hoping for a McCain-Palin victory. Whom will they mock when Bush leaves office and Saint Barack enters the White House? The shows on Radio 4 which feature the likes of Mark Steele (now, he REALLY is thick), Jeremy Hardy, Marcus Brigstocke and the rest of the Socialist Workers’ Party depend entirely on the caricature of George W Bush.

That’s a good point, [email protected] BBC ‘comedy’ has floundered ever since Bliar and McBean came to power – only ever half-heartedly attacked by the class warriors who, mercifully as far as they were concerned, had ChimpyMcBushitler to mock, instead.

Woe betide Hardy et al should McBean and Obama win!

Yes, but I heard on R4 this morning that Bush is no longer a moron. His moronic-ness was merely cunning republican subterfuge deliberately invented to appeal to the average Joe in the middle american street (thereby gaining his vote.) He is now an intellectual and the official moron is Sarah Palin.

I heard Broadcasting House too. Alvin Hall announced that if anyone doesn’t vote for Obama it is because they are afraid of a Black Man being POTUS. Apoplectic at ‘late in the day’ criticism of The One, “an act of desperation,” he forgot that he had just been mercilessly tearing Sarah Palin to bits immediately beforehand.

Needless to say everyone was sniggering in agreement throughout.

    The brilliant Victor Davis Hanson:

A couple of thoughts: the George Bush, Sr. / Willie Horton campaign was far tougher; so were the Bush 2000/2004 efforts. If anything, McCain’s campaign is subdued in comparison to what we’ve seen on both sides in past years. Indeed, McCain as a vicious campaigner is a complete fabrication, but, again, a brilliant subterfuge on the part of Team Obama that, in fact, has run, via appendages, the far more vicious race. Obama and his surrogates have repeatedly engaged in racial politics (as Bill Clinton lamented when in fury he denounced the “race card”); when there was never evidence that McCain was using race as a wedge issue, it was clear Obama most surely was•preemptively, on at least two occasions, warning Americans he would soon be the victim of opposition racial stereotyping. His surrogates like Biden and those in the Senate continue to link legitimate worries about OBama’s past with racism.

Second, for about 3 months all we’ve heard are references to McCain’s age, with adjectives and phrases like confused, can’t remember any more, disturbed, lost his bearings, etc. Moreover, so far, McCain supporters have not broken into Biden’s email, or accused Biden of being a Nazi, or accused anyone of not bearing one of their own children, or photo-shopped grotesque pictures of Obama on the Internet (as in the Atlantic magazine case). I don’t think deranged McCain supporters in Hollywood or television almost daily are quoted as damning Obama in unusually crude terms. Nor are white racist ministers calling McCain a ‘messiah’ or McCain operatives fraudulently swarming voter registration centers. And on and on…

Obama, as I have said ad nauseam, has brilliantly prepped the battlefield to such a degree that a Farrakhan endorsement or surrogates calling Palin a quasi-Nazi or a bimbo, or smearing McCain as near senile is irrelevant; yet one screamer in a crowd of tens of thousands is proof of McCain’s and Palin’s racism and hatred.

The BBC is just doing the usual regurgitation of their favorite US media outlets. The latest lie being peddled is, as everyone knows by now, that there was an “angry crowd” at a McCain/Palin rally a few days ago. Some hopped up journo decided that sounded like a scary mob to him, and the thing blew out of proportion immediately, as these things do.

Of course, then you get the usual race-baiters piling on, and pretty soon you have 30 different talking heads crying about a climate of fear and all that nonsense. It’s the appearance of a problem only because so many people are talking about it. But it’s based on a shadow.

Here’s what the fuss is about:

Panic attacks: Voters unload at GOP rallies

They don’t like The Obamessiah, no they don’t. But since when is criticizing someone’s politics considered racism? Oh, that’s right. But does anyone see any evidence of racism? It looks like the same things the rest of us have been complaining about for months. Nothing to do with racism. Yet the usual race-baiters have played a little game of Telephone (Chinese Whispers to Britons), and now it’s all twisted. If anything, I would say that declaring that a group of people are racist simply because they’re angry and white is, on its own, a racist statement.

The Beeboids covering the US election are, for the most part, unoriginal and unprofessional. As you have all seen time and time again, they’re not really doing any learning or investigating. Other than a handful of “on the road” pieces, the majority of the reporting you’ve all seen has been parroting of the Leftoid US media outlets. On the website, on Justin Webb’s blog, and on the actual news shows, the regurgitation of Leftoid US media opinion hits the BBC airwaves (or website) like clockwork. We’ve all seen several examples lately.

This is one of them, and it’s the lowest blow of all. Sadly, it’s the one we’ve all been waiting for.

NB: I must now add the (tragically) obligatory disclaimer that my contention that these crowds don’t like The Obamessiah’s politics does not deny that racism exists, or has ever existed. But if racism does decide this election, it will be due to guilt over it.

I have seen reports that Obama plants are in the audience, placed to shout crazy things so the media can then accuse the entire audience of racism or whatever.

The racist card is played pre-emptively and repeatedly by TeamObama. It is time McCain called him on it again.

The debate last week was meant to be an open “town-hall” affair, but Brokaw (a liberal) “moderated ” it such that he selected nil questions about Obama’s extreme views on social issues.

This week it is Bob Schieffer, I believe ? Will he be a fairer moderator ? How can you have these debates without all the skeletons in Obama’s cupboard coming up ? – the media is sanitising him at every turn.

As you say -most BBC reporting (especially Justin Webb) has been bone idle – just checking out the Dem talking points from New York Times, Atlantic, Washington Post, Huffington Post – and even Daily Kos as regards Palin ?

I have never ever seen Webb picking up the daily themes from right-wing media or blogs.

    S0 – idle AND biased.

Well, he just can’t believe any of it. All rational people agree with him, apparently, so he doesn’t give it any credence. Nor do the rest of the Beeboids being bused around the country like Japanese tourists at DisneyWorld.

They wait until the New York Times reports on anything that makes The Obamessiah look bad, even weeks after the right-thinking (but not right-on) media has been talking about it. It’s never a story to the BBC unless it comes with the Leftoid US stamp of approval.

Why doesn’t the BBC mention every day that no one has yet seen Obama’s birth certificate and that he might not be American born. I have read that he was born in Kenya, which would make much more sense than Hawaii, which is around 5,000 miles away from Kansas, whence his Marxist mother hailed.

Are you aware that all of Obama’s official records have been legally sequestered? Has the Beeb been mentioning this truly bizarre state of affairs, or do they prefer to concentrate on Sarah Palin’s hair style?

Including why I at least have even more desire now to challenge her words and deeds in depth and constructively with the scant objective resources to hand, whilst trying harder to locate at all much on any others with whom she is competing.

As she coined it it must be well known, but I thought “the liberal gotcha media elite” was a new one to me… and apt.

I wonder if this is a moniker the objective press wear openly and with professional pride?

Much as I would like to believe what you say about Obamessiah’s origins – how do you explain this?

FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.

Palin has said it time and time again, she and her running mate are both hoping to improve the economy and ensure jobs for the people. The mainstream media illuminati have no idea they’re helping her prove her case. By mocking her, they’re securing their jobs. Well done Palin!
