Why is the BBC determined to give Red Ken a perma-presence on its programmes? I see that he has been babbling on that Boris had the right to dismiss Sir Ian Blair as if anyone cares what he thinks anymore. Except the BBC that is, of course! I heard Red Ken being interviewed on 5 Live minutes after Blair had resigned and he got stuck into Boris making the predictable character assassinations.
MR LIVINGSTONE I PRESUME?

I’d suggest that the BBC wouldn’t afford Boris the same amount of airtime had the situation been the reverse – except I’d like to think Boris would be a lot more dignified in defeat…

I don’t recall the BBC inviting Steven Norris in on a daily basis in 2004 when he lost to Livingstone.

But the BBC have been rather selective with the excerpts they have published from this interview. What Livingstone said of Tariq Gaffur was rather revealing, but obviously does not suit the BBC’s agenda. He stated that Ghaffur had reached his level of competence within the force and that this was the reason he had struck the glass ceiling, not racism. All the news that’s fit to print, unless they don’t like it, that is.

People like Boris wouldn’t want to go on TV and comment once they left office, why would they?
Livingstone cared nothing for London other than what it could do for his profile so will turn up anywhere to make comment. He is to London what Bliar is to the UK.

Why is the BBC determined to give David Vance a perma-presence on its programmes? I see that he has been babbling on about Muslims as if anyone cares what he thinks anymore. Except the BBC that is, of course! I heard Vance being interviewed on Radio Ulster and he spouted his usual, misinformed and narrow-minded bigoty.
