OLYMPIC FEVER.

Trying to escape the hype the BBC is producing for the Olympic Games is difficult, unless one turns off! But I happened to tune in to Victoria Derbyshire this morning and was amazed to hear her ask a listener who had phoned in to say that awarding the games to China was a disgrace given its’ human rights record why he had not also objected to LA getting the Games back in 1984. She clearly equates the tyrants that run China with the democratically elected US government.

I’m watching the Olympics in the US on NBC at the moment, and it’s nice to be able to watch the announcement of a US medal without the usual BBC sucking on lemons. Is it really right that a national broadcaster, compulsorily funded, should be so bigoted?

Anyway, I expect that when I return to the UK next week, I’ll end up watching it on Eurosport – whose live broadcast of events always seem to precede the BBC’s by several minutes, and whose quirky, young, non-psychotically anti-American presenters don’t remind me of stormtroopers.

If you think Al Beeb is piling on the propoganda over the Beijing Olympics, just you wait until 2010 and the World Cup in South Africa, especially if St. Nelson is still around.

Great point, just compare and contrast, there will be no great focus on crimes against whites, amounting to ethnic clensing!

No mention of “muti” killings of whites – No that only happens to albinos in Tanzania, according to the BBC (because they can’t get hold of white kids)

I like watching the Olympics on ra BBC.

No crummy adverts for up to six minutes in every twenty makes for a better viewing experience.

I am sick and tired of British media pickin up and blaiming China for everything and anything you could possibly think of. BBC in particular drives me crazy with their manipulated and misleading reports, taking facts out of context and reporting lies.
The fact is UK has lost its colonies long time ago and soon will loose Scotland and Wales too but they still act as if they ruled the world. They care just about any country in the world, except their own – which is quickly but for sure becoming Third-World country. Most importantly, rest of the world does not give a s..t about UK any more. No China, Russia, Zimbabwe or even US listens when UK wants to say something. Well-done.

Nonsense. Unless ‘fascist’ is now spelled l-i-b-e-r-a-l.
