SUFFER LITTLE CHILDREN?

I see that the BBC has given great prominence this morning to a report by Britain’s obnoxious “Children’s Commissioners” which essentially argues that the UK is demonising children. This is the left wing ratchet-mechanism in play. Labour appoints four sopping wet liberals to head up these unelected quangos, the liberals then use our taxes to produce predictable self-loathing reports and a “caring” Government then responds by agreeing to consider implementing further “reforms”. Why does the BBC fail to provide a platform for those many people who view these “Commissioners” reports as interfering detached from all reality tax-consuming grotesque wastes of money? They seek to further weaken our system of justice and yet there is no challenge from the BBC reporters who just sit back and lap up the gibberish spouted by Sir Al Aynsley-Green and his pals. I also like the way this “demonisation” of children is accompanied on the BBC news page with an image of a “Mosquito” sonic device aimed at stopping young hoodlums from hanging around specific shopping areas, so implying what a great evil this device is. Shop-keeper’s plagued by teenage thugs don’t think so! Aynsley-Green and the gang are a menace to our society, operating to undermine law and order by rewarding feral youth and they are given a very easy ride by the BBC which, I suspect, shares the Commissioners views that no crime should go punished.

I noticed this report on Breakfast this morning, which even by the beeb’s standards was remarkably biased. We were told before the item that children were being ‘demonised’ (the usual liberal scareword), then again by the reporter and again by one of the ‘children’s commissioners’. No opposing opinion was given or even implied that a contrary opinion was possible ie that we have reached this youth crime level
by 40 odd years of liberal crime policies in which a blind eye has been turned to many offences. Instead we heard the children’s commissioner (unchallenged) stating that we have to look at ways other than punishment (so back to the failed ‘tough on the causes of crime’ then, the pursuit of which has lead to an unprecedented level in youth murders).
We saw a young man (age 16) who we were told had spent 2 terms in jail. We were not told the reason why but instead were informed he was ‘a bright boy’ followed by the reporters plea (couched as a quote from the commisioners) that we should ‘stop sending children to prison’. Again no contrary view is given.
The boy is giving a chance to air his view that prison was like ‘a school’ where he learnt to be a better car thief and robber. This is naturally added to the notion that prisons do not work. A contrary position might be that prisons should be tougher.
So the same old middleclass liberal stuff.

Add me to the list, if you will. I, too, heard the nonsense on Today .

Mr Vance’s summation of how this self-perpetuating twaddle comes about – and the sycophantic way the BBC plays its part in the process – is 100 per cent accurate.

To consider and classify anyone under the age of 18 as a child is ludicrous and should cease immediately. We need to recognise the obvious differences between a child and a post pubescent individual and treat them accordingly. The latter are sexually mature and are thus influenced by their hormones in a way that a child is not. To fail to recognise this and take appropriate action is stupid in the extreme as the latter group have left childhood behind and more should be expected of them.

the problem is there are non boundaries any more. Kids grow up knowing they can get away with anything…so what do you expect them to do when they get older?

Interestingly enough, there was an article some years ago that talked about the impact removing people like park wardens, bus conductors and so on, who historically acted as boundary enforcers…but now these people have gone, there is no longer anyone around to say what is right or wrong or to administer punishment when those boundaries were crossed.

How can they describe 16 year-olds as “children” yet try and convince us that that they should have the vote.

Apparently these kids are too immature to know that sticking a knife in someone, nicking cars, harassing their neighbours etc is WRONG, but mature enough to weigh up the pros/cons come election time?!?!

Are the left/liberal political class so bereft of support that they feel the need to raid a creche for the kiddy vote?

I think the only thing which will drum sense into these left wing morons is to be attacked by a pack of these knife-wielding thugs themselves. Maybe a few stabs to the torso, a few kicks to the head will drag them into objective reality.

Don’t be entirely sure that being attacked would change their minds.

Here’s a story from the bad old days of New York city before Republican mayor Rudy Giuliani cleaned it up: A judge was addressing a crowd about crime, making arguments that would please the BBC. To strengthen his case, he said that he, too, had been mugged but that hadn’t changed his thinking on this issue at all

From the back of the crowd, an old woman shouted, “Mug him again, then.”

Attacks did change some minds in New York, but not all.

Disciplining kids is an unpleasant, thankless task that mainly benefits other people, so it’s no surprise that “liberals” shirk the responsibility to do so.

The Children’s Commissioners advocate policies that further empower thugs to terrorize their neighbours, limiting the freedom of decent people. They are “liberal”, not liberal.

Aynsley Green has a history of serial stupidity.

The BBC compounds his stupidity by giving this socialist oik a platform.

‘Sir Al Aynsley Green said increased use of police stop and search powers to catch knife thugs would ‘antagonise’ young people.
His remarks, in a pre-recorded BBC interview, were broadcast hours after 18-year-old Rob’s death.’

I used to consider a liberal as somebody that supported the right of the individual. Whoever that individual was.

What we now call liberal are people that judge a person depending on which sub group they belong to.

The more victim status the group can claim the more rights its individual member get.

The BBC are not liberal no true liberal would put the rights of the criminal above that of the law abiding. Or support the television tax.

I appologise in advance for spelling/grammar.

Britain breaching rights, watchdogs tell UN

‘The four Children’s Commissioners for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have issued a report for the United Nations condemning the punitive youth justice system and the vilification of teenagers as yobs.
The commissioners say that Britain is breaching the Children’s Rights Convention in several areas.

The report for the UN was written jointly by Sir Al Aynsley-Green, the Children’s Commissioner for England, Keith Towler, for Wales, Kathleen Marshall, for Scotland, and Patricia Lewsley, for Northern Ireland. The four were appointed by Labour as the guardians of children’s interests.’

    Jim Miller:

You’re probably right. A couple of years ago an aspiring young actress was shot dead just around the corner from me in New York by a little black thug after she said, during a mugging, “what are you going to do, shoot me?”

Her devoted boyfriend reacted to all of this by holding a candlelit, incense-burning bongo-playing session at the place where she died, and telling the press how sorry he felt for the kid who shot her who was so tragically going to have to spend the rest of his life in jail.

I was attacked by a wolf pack of around 12 young ghetto animals near Ground Zero last September – there were around 200 or so of them throwing a mini-riot and a small group of them singled me out, said “who does that white motherfucker think he is”, sucker punched me to the ground and proceeded to stomp on my head. God knows how I got out of it, but they chased me up Broadway to finish me off as I ran in front of cars and buses, dazed. I had severe concussion and a fractured jaw.

Candlelit bongo-playing sessions? God no – I was straight on the phone to the New York Post demanding that they write up the story and let me comment on them as being “sub-human savages”. Strangely for the Post, they weren’t interested. It seems black-on-white hate crimes don’t make the papers.

I feel sick every time I think of the reaction of Amy Biehl’s parents to her murder and their sympathy for her killers.

Comes from too much lefty “higher” education of the type that BBC journalists have been thoroughly indoctrinated with and now seek to impose on the public.
