When in doubt…blame Brexit

Funny thing…guess some people just attract attention.  Gina Miller was quite vocal about the abuse and threats she said she had received due to the court case concerning Article 50.  She told us she has had death threats and we saw her dramatically flanked by over-sized bodyguards as she made her way to court.  What’s odd is that her QC, Lord Pannick, an extremely high profile barrister in this case, told us that he received absolutely no abuse or threats.  Which you might think was odd if Miller is telling the truth.  Or maybe Miller was exaggerating and the bodyguards were more pantomime than due to any genuine threat.  Miller playing to an audience trying invent a storyline that Brexit has created a storm of racism and hate…a storyline that the BBC happily reports as fact?  Never.

No doubt she received some nasty Tweets but the bodyguards were from central casting…there to create an illusion of threat and fear.

Similarly the BBC keeps telling us the fabulously Muslim cake baker Nadiya, has received death threats and constant abuse for being Muslim….I thought her cake for the Queen was a bit naff but not something that you’d do her in for.

The BBC clearly has a bit of an agenda, whipping up a frenzied atmosphere of fear and loathing as its reporting suggests anyone with an off-white skin tone or wears Muslim garb is living under constant threat of attack or abuse…. A constant barrage of melodramatic reports portraying Whites as racist who are always, always looking to abuse and keep down ethnic minorities…..divisive and dangerous reporting?  Fake news?

Normally it isn’t quite so bothered with Jews, its coverage of Labour’s little problem was slow and grudging as was its coverage of Lutfur Rahman in London and the Trojan Horse scandal which it still presents as a hoax.  Recently though it has turned over a new leaf and has been highlighting a rise in anti-Semitism….the BBC’s reinvigorated interest is not unconnected with Brexit of course and the BBC’s own narrative that Brexit gave licence to racists to vent their hate.

This narrative was loudly aired this morning on the Today show when a new CST report was looked at…the impression given?…Brexit was the main cause of a steep rise in anti-Semitism.  Only…that’s not really true, as you can see from the actual report….

It appears that antisemitic incident totals may have been sustained at this high level by the cumulative effect of a series of events and factors that, taken together, have created an atmosphere in which more antisemitic incidents are occurring, and are also more likely to be reported to CST and the Police.

These factors included the conflict in Gaza and Israel in summer 2014; terrorist attacks on Jewish communities in France and Denmark in 2015, and other terrorism in Europe; and in 2016, high profile allegations of antisemitism in the Labour Party; a perceived increase in racism and xenophobia following the EU referendum, including an increase in recorded racial and religious hate crime; and regular, high-profile discussion of antisemitism, racism and hate crime in mainstream media, politics and on social media during the year.

So, many, many causes…including media coverage of the conflict in Gaza.  No doubt the BBC’s assertion that Jews must expect to be attacked in Europe because of Israeli actions played a part in the rise…no?  The BBC does not mention it.  Note after Brexit there is only a ‘perceived increase’.

Interesting that the most attacks were in high Remain voting areas….

Over three-quarters of the 1,309 antisemitic incidents were recorded in Greater London and Greater Manchester

Also, as I mentioned in a previous post the CST told us that yes, 55% of attacks were by Whites but the rest were by ‘Pakistanis, Arabs and Blacks’…work out the ratios of population [87% white] and you must conclude anti-Semitism must be rife in those communities…and also know that of those Whites a good proportion are from the Left….so the BBC’s narrative that the Far Right are the real problem seems somewhat dubious.

Note the CST report tells us that ‘The charity revealed its highest monthly total for attacks came in May last year, just days after Naz Shah, a Labour MP, was suspended from the party alongside Ken Livingstone the former London mayor.’

So the highest number of attacks came in May…hmm…a month before the Brexit vote…and was directly linked to Labour’s own anti-Semitism…many of the culprits being Muslim.

Not a narrative the BBC wants to push…Labour and Muslims guilty of anti-Semitism.?!!!?…let’s just keep that our ‘dirty little secret’….let’s just blame it on White supremacist Leave voters instead.

I heard the ACPO empty suit being interviewed about this on Five Dead this morning. The pathetic dweeb twisted wildly in his attempt to avoid menioning the “M” word, and just about managed it in the end, thus preserving his job and pension.

Then they ran an interview with a Jew who had been racially abused and threatened with death in a restaurant by… a muslim. He wasn’t very articulate (to be fair, he was Romanian), and did not want to say exactly what the muslim had told him, which was annoying, but for once we did get an insight into the plight of Jews at the hands of muslims, which put the pathetic performance of the ACPO muppet into perspective.

Strangely, this sounds as if I am praising Five Dead! I suppose it had to happen one day.

On the Islamaphobia one, Samayya Afzal is not some random off the street.

If you do a quick Google search, she is an ardent campaigner and activist, pushing her own Islamaphobia victim narrative at every opportunity. She has held various diversity roles in the NUS, the co-founder of the national campaign Students Not Suspects, formed in opposition to the measures placed on universities under the Prevent duty, as well as spouting opinions on Prevent and Palestine.

Here is a video of a previous BBC appearance where she says radicalisation is not as big an issue as “education, employment and a reason to belong and stay in this country”:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03gt24s

Okay, so what is her view on the vile hate crime of honour punishments (Izat)? There is a story about a film called “Honor Diaries”, about women’s rights advocates fighting for the rights and freedom of women. Jasvinder Sanghera, Co-founder of the Karma Nirvana charity was one of the women featured in the film. Jasvinder was also a victim to the evilness of forced marriage. When she was asked about the reasons why people do not wish to speak about the issues of forced marriage and honour killings she responded, “I think it is a lack of understanding and awareness and the fear of speaking about this, or the fear of offending.”

Ms Afzal’s response to this horror?

Afzal believed that the film should not have focused on the issue only within Muslim communities: “If we as a community want to stand up and tackle problems that are happening within our communities we first need to not be portrayed in ways that are not completely racist.”

I guess women only deserve rights when it is non-Muslims oppressing them. Or being called names is worse than forced marraige?

    http://www.asiansunday.co.uk/honour-and-shame-within-south-asian-communities/

How about Prevent? Afzal described Prevent as “a policy that has entrenched Islamophobia; that has criminalised the thoughts and beliefs of Muslims everywhere; that has rendered us a suspect community.”

I am not saying for one moment that she was not threatened with a knife, even if her claim is totally unsubstantiated. But it makes you wonder where the Beeb source their “victims” from and why their claims are not explored in detail.

I caught the segment on Emma Barnett’s show today and this is what I learned from that idiot police constable.

He said there was no doubt about it that a nasty Brexit campaign and the election of Trump were responsible. He was particularly concerned about an incident involving football supporters. He praised the Labour party for saying anti-Semitism is unacceptable despite the party being rife with it. He stated that there was no particular profile of an ant-Semite in the UK but ruled out immigrants insisting we hadn’t seen any anti-Semitism from them.

Do Jewish people in the UK really want this guy representing them? Of course Barnett lapped it up and when a listener suggested that trying to link Brexit to anti-Semitism was disingenuous she quickly reiterated the constable’s position. That’s how the segment finished, the way it had started. It’s down to Brexit and Trump and their nasty right-wing supporters. Definitely nothing to do with Muslims.

As this article states, the BBC are obsessed with finding anecdotal evidence of white racism. Being a Luton resident I’m all too aware that racism can come from any direction. BiasedBBC readers may be interested in my own experience this very week.

To cut a long story short I’ve been plagued by a group of Asians using my drive as a drugs, drinks and loud music den in the early hours of the morning. Things reached a peak this week when I was threatened with being run over and was called a white fucker as they drove away. Got a visit from the police this afternoon and it will be interesting to see how this pans out. Chance of any media interest – nil.

A bit on this on 5dead this afternoon, a Police chief/commissioner of some sort as I was concentrating on my job in hand and not paying full attention, stated that the rise in anti Semitism ( in 2016 ) especially in London(istan) was due to a ‘vicious brexit campaign, and the election of Donald Trump’.
I was absolutely flabbergasted that such a political statement came from a member of the Police. I intend to try find his name ( unless someone here caught it ) as I will make an official complaint about him.
So Trump elected on the back end of 2016 is responsible for the rise in attacks on Jews in Britain 2016.. unbelievable!
I unfortunately spend quite a lot of time in London and occasionally visit North London, and I know for a fact that Jewish schools have for the last ten years or so had security at the gates. it is clear as to why when you see the huge amount of Muslims in the area.

It teaches me not to look at the photos first as I thought the round things in the above photo were a collection of Elton John’s hat boxes. As a cake though it looks bloody hideous.

I think the Queen wanted tio cut the cake quickly and move away before it toppled over completely. If it had fallen she knows the BBC would have blamed her. In her head she was saying to herself “Run away, run away!!”

I have relations in a very Jewish part of London. 20-30 years ago it was much MORE visibly Jewish; on Saturdays literally the only people you saw were men with trilbies, black coats and beards, and women in Edwardian style clothing with families of 3-6 children, walking to synagogue. Nowadays you still see that but there is far more of a mix, with a lot of eastern Europeans, Filipinos and all the usual London residents of indeterminate ethnic origin.

Back in the 80s also, one saw a lot more ‘far right’ skinhead types on the streets, and you very rarely if ever see them now. A recent demonstration against Jews employing the ‘Shomrim’ (sort of Jewish special constables) by the ‘far right’ gathered about half a dozen unscary middle aged Buster Bloodvessel looking types.

So why on earth should there be a rise in anti-semitism in recent years?!

My guess is either it is Islamic extremism, or native British leftist anti-semitism dressed up as ‘anti-Israeli’.

I use to live just off Brick lane in ’80 while at college. I lived off bagels from a Jewish bakery at the top end of the lane. I left the area in ’85. Later on I used to take my wife there periodically for a curry about fifteen years or so ago as a bit of a nostalgia trip ( it was so different then ) but after a few visits we stopped going as the atmosphere changed, it was a far more pushy place and had to our minds lost the cosmopolitan feel.
The Brick Lane sign (!) now has the Pakistani/Bangladeshi name directly underneath it. It has been colonized, and yes, the NF is a rump of what it once was as white flight happened.
I still wonder today if the Jewish bakery is still there.

So 45% were by muslims. Way out of proportion to their incidence in the UK overall.

It’s all very strange. Gina Miller has never shown anything other than a seemly humility and respect for democracy – why even today she offered to explain to the Prime Minister the impact of Brexit. How could anyone possibly take exception to that? Yours, puzzled.
