Glasshouses

You may have heard the BBC’s expressions of horror about the Mail having the temerity to outline the Supreme Court Judges’ history on the EU…something you might think relevant and of interest to anyone who is following the case.  The BBC thinks this undermines the Judges’ independence and threatens democracy and the rule of law.

Never mind that just about every other paper and publication has done similar examinations of the Judges’ history and possible political leanings…but the BBC only criticises the Mail.

Imagine then my surprise this morning when the BBC itself moved to attack the Judges…for being too white, too male, too old.  Naturally they are incapable of reaching a fair judgement because of their sex, colour and age….their vast legal experience and technical expertise amounts to nothing.  Clearly they only got the job because of the Old Boy network…the one women aside.

Bizarre what the BBC thinks important as to what qualifies you to do a job…not experience or technical expertise and professional qualification…but the colour of your skin or your gender.  The Mail is a rabble-rousing danger to society for examining the Judges’ political leanings but someone who defines them purely by their colour or gender is OK.

Perhaps the BBC could get in touch with some of those shown in this link.

They definitely fit the BBC’s criteria for sane and rational jurisprudence.

The thing is, most of the world is not white so if these ethnics hate us so much, they have an option that we whites don’t have, they can choose to go and live elsewhere with those who look just like they do. The problem is, they’ll soon come to realise that just because you look alike doesn’t result in a safe, prosperous and homogeneous society. Maybe they know that and that’s why they’re still here amongst us and whinging.

That’s the contradiction, isn’t it? Africa can remain essentially African, the Indian subcontinent can remain essentially Indian and so on, but Europe to remain essentially European? No, that sort of talk is racist.

Japan seems to get it; hardly anywhere in the West does.

Japan is a nation of roughly 126 million people. And yet, there are only 10,000 Muslims in the entire country. This represents less than one-hundredth of 1 percent. (Other estimates are higher, but none suggest a number above 100,000.) Muslim immigration is officially and culturally discouraged, and a Japanese woman who marries a Muslim man becomes a social outcast.

In an e-mail argument with my leftist brother I pointed out that Japan seems highly successful without large-scale immigration. He replied with the old chestnut about Japan’s low birthrate and demographic time-bomb. I explained that immigration is no long-term solution (immigrants get old) and that I understand the Japanese are trying to solve labour problems by going high-tech. They certainly seem to have the intelligence to sort matters out without sacrificing everything it means to be Japanese.

Did it convince him? No. He still insists I’m ‘living in the fifties’ in my immigration attitudes.(We’ve conducted an e-mail war ever since Brexit, when he asserted that Brexiteers are racists.) It reminds me of a quote from the Spectator blogs:

‘Arguing with a Social Justice Warrior is like playing chess with a pigeon. You may be a grand master, but it still up-ends the pieces, shits on the board, and struts around as though it’s won.’

The Japanese prefer Robots to immigrants, it preserves the future of Japan for their children and many generations to come. Also the demographic time-bomb would never explode, as old people in Japan do eventually die, and Japan could do with a reduction in population. Britain has half Japans population, and when Britain had half its population in the past, people emigrated to North America and Australia, because Britain was perceived as full up. Also, the human population is at its highest, and still increasing. But the fall in the rate of increase is seen by lefties as evidence that humans are about to become extinct.

The affected leftie concern with falling population is a bit hard to square with the left’s absolute obsession with abortion. On both sides of the Atlantic, the left seems to believe that the only thing that motivates wimmin is the prospect of killing babies. This was a common theme in the recent American elections.

There was yet another reminder, just a couple of days ago, when some US company or other cancelled its Christmas party, in the light of Donald Trump’s victory. The money set aside would be diverted, instead, to Planned Parenthood.

Yeah, why wouldn’t a donation to a chain of abortion clinics be an appropriate way to mark Christmas? What is this “Christmas” thing, anyway?

John, I’m sure some of the ethnic minorities hate us. A tiny percentage will do so because of some inbuilt prejudice. A larger minority will hate us because they have been conditioned via educational and media propaganda. But the people behind the propaganda are white, middle-class liberals. I would suggest the overwhelming hatred of white society (the oppressor class…) is found within white liberals far more than ethnic minorities, who are simply pawns to be utilised in bringing about the glorious cultural revolution the Marxists so desperately want to achieve.

Ah, yes – as we know judges are absolutely infallible, especially when giving us their rulings on the human rights of Islamic extremists, the criminal acts of immigrants being excused by ‘cultural differences’, the rights of Romanian Big Issue sellers to claim housing benefits….etc.

Yes indeed, we should put our absolute faith in them at all times and in all situations and consider them totally above any scrutiny whatsoever.

I have no idea what political party most of the people I worked with for 30 years, supported. They would have been ideal for politically impartial jobs such as the Judiciary or the BBC. The world is upside down: Its not just the Daily Mail, but the evidence for the political opinions of the Judiciary and the BBC are all over the place, the BBC don’t even bother to censor incidents, they just deny it exists, or say it was comedy.

But more importantly for the BBC, my colleagues were all white, and mostly men, even if some of them ticked the “Black box” on forms, for a laugh, in Trump mischief style. But then they were all highly intelligent people chosen by merit, and before any quota system got started.

We can always make judges ( and Parliamentarians ) more diverse by cutting some of their wages , so that we have rich ones and poor ones .

This is the end result of the left’s obsession with racial victim politics, especially relevant given that it’s coming from a professional lawyer.
