WEEKEND OPEN THREAD….

Well then, the BBC is in full Hillary-worshipping mode today, abandoning any pretence of impartiality over who should become next US President. It’s vomit inducing to watch it, so I don’t! Anyhow – the weekend beckons, we need a new one of these, and the floor is yours!

More BBC than the BBC. More Guardian than the Guardian. The arch-globalisers from the Economist spell it out in a leader from this week’s edition http://www.economist.com/news/leaders/21702750-farewell-left-versus-right-contest-matters-now-open-against-closed-new Disclaimer: I have a subscription to this magazine, and am sorely tempted to terminate it after months of pro-Europe, anti-Brexit, pro-Migration, pro-Globalization propaganda. However, as with the BBC and the Guardian I continue to monitor their output if only to keep abreast of the liberal discourse. So here’s an example of how the liberals are portraying the imminent collapse of their world.

“Farewell, left versus right. The contest that matters now is open against closed”

“America is not alone. Across Europe, the politicians with momentum are those who argue that the world is a nasty, threatening place, and that wise nations should build walls to keep it out.”

“Britain’s decision to leave the European Union has been the anti-globalists’ biggest prize: the vote in June to abandon the world’s most successful free-trade club was won by cynically pandering to voters’ insular instincts, splitting mainstream parties down the middle”

“The danger is that a rising sense of insecurity will lead to more electoral victories for closed-world types. This is the gravest risk to the free world since communism. Nothing matters more than countering it.”

“The wall-builders have already done great damage. Britain seems to be heading for a recession, thanks to the prospect of Brexit. The European Union is tottering: if France were to elect the nationalist Marine Le Pen as president next year and then follow Britain out of the door, the EU could collapse. Mr Trump has sucked confidence out of global institutions as his casinos suck cash out of punters’ pockets.”

“Defenders of the open world order need to make their case more forthrightly. They must remind voters why NATO matters for America, why the EU matters for Europe, how free trade and openness to foreigners enrich societies, and why fighting terrorism effectively demands co-operation. Too many friends of globalisation are retreating, mumbling about “responsible nationalism”. Only a handful of politicians—Justin Trudeau in Canada, Emmanuel Macron in France—are brave enough to stand up for openness. Those who believe in it must fight for it.”

“Republicans who are serious about resisting the anti-globalists should hold their noses and support Mrs Clinton. And Mrs Clinton herself, now that she has won the nomination, must champion openness clearly, rather than equivocating. Her choice of Tim Kaine, a Spanish-speaking globalist, as her running-mate is a good sign. But the polls are worryingly close. The future of the liberal world order depends on whether she succeeds.”

I will just repeat that last sentence “The future of the liberal world order depends on whether she succeeds”.

Probably time to think about cancelling my subscription.

Yes GWF, we must laugh at their lies, ridicule their distortions and omissions until they can no longer keep a straight face when they say NTDWI, Religion of Peace etc.
And yes, ‘shouty’ is not good, though understandable: gives the enemy the excuse to call them rabid right wingers, foaming at the mouth etc. In this respect Douglas Murray is sound: manages to stay calm and factual, even in the face of hysterical attacks. These men and women are heroes, we salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability.

The BBC caught wishing Labour were in power?

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-36913696

Sixty years after it accepted its first tenants, BBC Berkshire speaks to some of the Britwell Estate’s residents, including Home Secretary Alan Johnson.

The current Home Secretary is Amber Rudd, and seeing as Alan Johnson is Labour there’s little chance it could be him. Labours current Shadow Home Secretary is Andy Burnham . Johnson was Labours last Home Secretary and in position for less than 12 months !

    • RJ says:

But Alan johnson was one of the leaders of the Reamain campaign, so to the BBC he is a Very Important Person. In their fantasy world he should be Home Secretary – therefore he is. Truth is whatever the BBC wants it to be, and if the BBC says it, it must be true.

Front page news on the BBC News Web Site: Saatchi boss Kevin Roberts disciplined over gender comments.

His punishment is that he has been ‘put on leave’. His crime? He said this:

“…they (ie women) are going: ‘Actually guys, you’re missing the point, you don’t understand: I’m way happier than you.’ Their ambition is not a vertical ambition, it’s this intrinsic, circular ambition to be happy.
“So they say: ‘We are not judging ourselves by those standards that you idiotic dinosaur-like men judge yourself by’. I don’t think [the lack of women in leadership roles] is a problem.”

We know how this will turn out. Twitter and Facebook will go into mindless meltdown, the BBC will angrily demand to have him hung drawn and quartered.

He will then be removed from any jobs he has just as the Guardian columnists and BBC comedy shows will misquote him in order to destroy him.

It will end with a Soviet style public confession from Kevin Roberts of how wrong he is and how terribly sorry he is to have held views that do not fit into the soft left’s vision of the world.

Oddly, I have heard women say what the luckless Kevin Roberts quotes. The brilliant clinical psychologist Susan Pinker detailed how and why women don’t wish to advance too highly in her well-argued book ‘The Sexual Paradox.’ This doesn’t apply to all women, but appears to cover many.

When will men learn that before saying anything, they must check with BBC producers and Guardian apparatchiks?

Al Beebistan’s mujahideen squad are out carrying out Allahs will again this morning, as the good Jihadis are once again doing everything in their power to take on the man who is willing to stand up and fight for the free world and protect all men, women and children from the pure Islamic instruction of mass destruction and horrific deaths…

“Fury as Trump mocks Muslim soldier’s mother Ghazala Khan”

Fury!! Sounds like it must be kicking off! If our peace loving Muslims are involved I am having visions of hordes of Islamic warriors screaming “Allahu Akbar” and burning pictures of Trump……

“Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump drew outrage from Republicans and Democrats by mocking a dead Muslim soldier’s mother who stood silently as her husband attacked him in a speech”

Right….so politically motivated and utterly biased voices are outraged at Trump!!! When are they not Al Beeb you devious, conniving bastards!!! Trumps the man they know that is going to end their cosy, privileged, delusional club and stop them from destroying our entire way of life and ending western civilisation as we know it!! Of course they are going to be f…ing having a hissy fit!

What did Trump say this time, to get these bet wetting traitors to throw their toys out the pram…

“If you look at his wife, she was standing there,” he said, “She had nothing to say… Maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.”

So… Trump stated a fact about the Muslim mother being the traditional ‘5 paces back’ from the father, and how she didn’t say a word… This may have been because she was too upset, though it could have been because women are subhuman in Islamic teachings… And Trump is being a great statesman by asking another question about the suitability of Islamic practices and its compatibility with the freedoms and tolerances of the United States.
Plus!! Trump should have been able to respond back to the slanderous and without any basis statements from the Muslim man who criticised Trump in front of millions of people. Trump is doing everything he can to save the US.. Islam (which this man is sworn under pain of death to follow and Hitlery Clinton is fanatically trying to pro) is doing everything it can to destroy the United States of America!!’

Well done Al Beeb. Allah will be proud of you

    Allahu Akbar

I find myself reading these stories on the Beeb and asking myself what the real facts are, not just those the BBC has chosen to tell us. One thing: you can be sure that Trump has done this for a very calculated reason. Probably on the basis that the “fury” comes from those who will never support him, whilst those considering doing so might say to themselves, “You know what, he may have a point”.

As usual, Biased BBC prioritises its own prejudices over the facts. No wonder a lying, duplicitous imbecile like Trump, who says anything that will get mindless bigots to fall behind him without question, gets such adulation from this cabal of racist halfwits.

      > Trump stated a fact about the Muslim mother being the traditional ‘5 paces back’ from the father, and how she didn’t say a word

Fact my arse. Ghazala Khan has spoken alongside her husband about the loss of her son:

      http://on.msnbc.com/2alFW5v

She’s clearly visibly upset in that video. The possibility that, say, she felt that she couldn’t speak in front of a stadium and millions of people via television never occurs to Tothepoint. And why? Because he’s too busy telling himself that his bigotry-fueled theories are “facts” to even stop to think about what a mother who lost her son in service to his country might be going through.

But hey. If your want to believe a documented liar, a renowned bigot, and someone who will say anything in order to attract attention for himself, take your pick: either Trump or Vance will satisfy your bigoted little desire to be told whatever lies you want to hear.

Jerrod and his komrads in thr SWP, BBC, UAF, Ckass War and all are obliged to portray Trump as a racist, along with Farrage but mainly anyone who criticises Islam or its followers, or those in the media who portray it as a perfect ideology/religion/ doctrine of peace. If challenged to give evidence they will cite some quote from a speech, but never portray any doctrne where Islamists are denounced because of the colour of their skin or any other characteristic that consitutues membership of a race.

I have asked him before to tell us whether he supports Islamic terrorism and if he does why.

For the sake of argument I have raised this question on the FB pages of the above named leftist sites.

That Bernie Sanders misrepresented his views on the minimum wage.
That Putin called him a genius.
That Clinton deleted emails from her server after being served a subpoena.

          http://www.factcheck.org/2016/07/trumps-press-conference/

The point Trump makes is a wider one which goes to the suppression of women in Islam & its culture, the BBC are outraged that its mentioned, but are not outraged that this kind of suppression goes on regularly.

Do you approve of Muslim men forcing their women to walk 5 paces behind their husbands and to be silent until spoken to Jerrod? Or is it in fact the case that Trumps sin here is to talk about it at all?

The BBC has consistently failed to report on some incredible issues and scandals with both Obama & Clinton, leaving the people in the UK misinformed about what has been going on in the US.

Without looking it up can you name any of these scandals, because if not it rather proves the point.

Last week I made what I thought was a fair criticism of the BBC, only for it to be refuted by facts. I accepted the criticism in polite terms and thanked the poster. I won’t indulge in personal abuse of you, but, politely suggest that you moderate the tone of the above. Given that that I am the person who suggested to other posters here not to respond to trolls by citing the great Dave Allen joke, broadcast by the BBC no less, about not to give pleasure to masochists so that you can really torture them, I have wasted too much time on you and will not reply to anything further you post, except to quote the great Sarah Palin, “Suck it up, cupcake!”

I have asked the brand of computer you are using so that I may establish the remarkable materials from which the keyboard is apparently made.

The material in the keyboard apparently violates the laws of physics in that it is immune to wear as demonstrated by the continued functioning of its B, I, G, O and T keys. The R, A, C and S keys also continue to function.

There may be an earth shattering scientific discovery to be made, so please provide details.

Even if the explanation is that “The World’s Most Trusted Broadcaster” buys you a new laptop every time you throw the current one against the BBC senior canteen wall, provoked by justified criticism of your beloved employer on this website.

        >Trump stated a fact about the Muslim mother being the traditional ‘5 paces back’ from the father,

Fact my arse. Ghazala Khan has spoken alongside her husband about the loss of her son:

        http://on.msnbc.com/2alFW5v

Yes, she speaks, but not until 2:37 into the interview.

So one could say she’s not only five paces back, but also two-and-a-half minutes behind.

Kind of reinforces Trump’s statement, does it not?

And yes, Ghazala Khan has spoken, but not in front of unrelated males, which would be Haram.

She couldn’t address the convention because the audience contained thousands of unrelated men, which is forbidden by the Sharia.

In the NSNBC interview where she does speak there are no other males present in the room with her apart from her husband (the interviewer was in the studio), so it was permissible under the Sharia.

        Islam Question and Answer

Muslim women giving talks in gatherings where non-mahram [unrelated] men are present

In our opinion this is not permissible except in cases of necessity, and on the condition that the men cannot see her. There should be a screen between her and them…

Obviously the BBC is against nuclear power. However, it has to pretend to be in favour of jobs (sadly construction jobs tend to be done by white men, but you can’t have everything). However, the financial deal struck by the boy wonder Gideon Osborne means each job will cost about a million pounds to the taxpayer.

For once, Theresa the Appeaser has done the right thing in not signing the contract, but examining it first. I support nuclear power, but not this deal, it is ruinously expensive and a bad deal for everyone but the Chinese. I wonder what Gideon has got lined up for his retirement?

I never know Woolfe was half black. No surprise the BBC didn’t tell me though, it doesn’t fit their narrative that UKIP hate anyone who isn’t 100% white.

It’s pretty vile the way they refer to Obama as “black” when he is just as white. It’s not just vile, it’s a plain lie. It’s as incorrect as saying Obama is white. He’s mixed race.

This is the closest the BBC get to calling Woolfe half-black:

“Born in Manchester, with African-American, Jewish and Irish Catholic roots, he is also head of the party’s Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) association.”

Perhaps it is a minor point but for those who are obsessed with the colour of skin and identity politics it is worth mentioning that Obama’s claim to be the first black President has been challenged.

‘Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father’s side. While Barack Hussein Obama’s father was from Kenya, his father’s family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama’s father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father’s birth certificate even states he’s Arab, not African Negro).’

“In this sense I am a burqaphobe,” he said. “Anyone who thinks men are worth more than women, refuses to learn German or to send his daughter to school swimming lessons should seek asylum in a country that suits him better.”

“topped-up” with Muslims will no doubt be achieved by 2030, another 14 years from now. This gives the current Muslims in residence the opportunity to create another generation, – I’m no mathematician but given the numbers here now, it could possibly double or treble the figures in our towns and cities. Those that welcome migration and multiculturalism seem to have no vision of what the future is going to be like – only what they see at the moment. Even if the gate is shut tomorrow, there are enough migrants here now to create an Islamic state of the UK by birth rate by the end of this century. It`s just that Ed Stourtons execrable “Sunday” seems to think that Clintons handbag carrier she`s appointed as VP…being a Catholic (but only in the Stourton sense)…makes the lead story for him and the BBC.
Next up-Jedi/Pastafarians on Australias census…then Ebola weepie crap that fits on any and every OTHER Radio 4 soapbox show-and then…and then…
Maybe we`ll forget eh Stourton and Muslim boss?…imagine he`ll nest it in under Catholic Boy Scouts meeting in Krakow…with Francis hoping we`ll think it`s all over the desert tribes fighting for bottled water brands.
FFS BBC…if you CAN`T in your heart spare a word for Fr Jacques Hamel after what happened in Tuesday-and then extrapolate what this may yet mean…then what is the bloody point of you?
Straight to hell Stourton-drop your boss in the seventh circle of hell before YOU go down the spiral, you piece of posh crud!

Fr Jacques very last Gospel reading?….
“Blessed be your eyes, for you see …blessed be your ears for you hear”
“For I say now many good people and prophets longed to see what you saw but didn`t…wanted to hear what you did, but they didn`t”(Mt 13-16/17).
It`s the end of Jesus teachings on the dividing nature of his parables…and if the butchery of Fr Jacques is NOT a parable for our times…well my name is Frank Imbroglio.

1 . Personal abuse, mainly aimed at Alan and David Vance, but otherwise a scattergun . This is evidence of self-hatred. ” I hate everyone who disagrees with me “. A common affliction in some teenagers. But in extreme cases, it continues into ” adulthood “.

2 . An obsession with detail. The slightest error gets picked upon as if that is evidence that the bigger picture is wrong. So, a childish avoidance of bigger issues.

          3. Mindless dogmatic adherence to the ideology. No evidence will change the pre-programmed ” mind “.

          4. Totally ignoring any argument or evidence which contradicts the mindset.

          5. The personalisation of everything.

For my part, Jerrod, Zero and the Clapham Bus Man can say what they like, because it does not affect me at all. In fact, it can be of interest to see their mindset in action. But what they think they will accomplish is another thing. Still, they can waste their time if they want, as fas as I am concerned, but I don’t waste my time trying to argue with them. My god I would not want to be cross examined by him in court! Still, I held my ground and got my points across reasonably well I think (considering I’d had about five pints). Now that’s proper argument – not swatting away silly trolls online!

I was alerted to the amusing possibilities of this new game last week when – I nearly run over a couple of teenagers, when they blundered into the road in front of me staring into their phones. They then looked at me like I was an idiot for not anticipating this rather bizarre behavior.

I guess its just another fad for much of our youth where anything is better than dealing with real life.

I think it’s important to understand these things peterthegreat. As I understand it Sufism is similar to the Orthodox branch of Christianity (ie, mystical). Shia are more like Roman Catholics in that they believe in a sort of apostolic succession from Muhammed, Sunnis (the most dominant group) are more like Calvinist protestants, very rigidly concerned with the teachings of the founder rather than what came after.

Cranmer – that’s 1 way of categorising the various branches but it would need lots of caveats and qualifications. For one thing, ‘mystical’ doesn’t necessarily mean bells and smells – in the case of Sufism it can mean ‘the direct experience of Truth / Reality / the Absoute’. Also Islam never had a proper ‘Reformation’ (long overdue imo), so it’s tricky comparing it to Protestantism. It’s a huge subject and even scholars can’t agree, for example some say Sufism is not Islam at all. And I ain’t no scholar so i’m bowing out of this one.

We live in interesting Times where the national broadcaster is avoid of naming what type of crime (it obviously is), what nationality (that man is obviously) and the number of crimes (that are similarly linked to that nationality) and the identity of the man (which is only revealed as ‘is a man’ is more absurd that that of being of ‘as Turkish’ origin (when in fact the man – is usually of Syrian import via Turkey), the fact that he has (or has not) a passport (usually not), that fact that there is no official immigration papers. Just the end result that the crime was committed by ‘a man’ is really not ‘news worthy’. And that’s the point really of BBC inspired liberalised media. When the obvious multicultural failures are TOO BIG to report (and many are) denial is far easier than to report that ‘ISLAM’ is not compatible with western democracy. Far easier to non-report, deny involvement, redeploy the enemy to offer a ‘positive spin’ on the most recent Atrocity. The Channel 4 alternative is to hire Muslim news reader to report that a ‘man’ of unknown nationality was involved in a ‘hate crime’ which involved a death of a priest (Catholic), or the recent abuse of a child (English), or electoral fraud (by men obviously). Of course any suggestion of the rather obvious links is a ‘thought crime’ in today’s media studies. Perhaps the only way to fight crime (in the future of the EU) is to deny that any crime exists on our shores (or on EU environs). The only victim is the TRUTH and what ‘they don’t know (i.e. the plebs public) they won’t worry about. Another plus (using BBC defined logic) is that if you ignore the Islam problem, then it will go away as they will all be ‘integrated’ into wider populations. So in (BBC Logic in action) calling everybody ‘racist’ who questions anything to do with Islamic inspired local murders and local (or national) intimidation, sexual abuses and electoral fraud is an acceptable ‘trade off’ to multicultural toadies. It is insulting to Polish, Turks and Asian who already work here to hear that ‘a man’ has committed a crime when in fact the link in all of this is the dominance and failures of the Western countries to accept that not all cultures can be integrated without abandoning all things that made this country a refuge from European wars and the answer to European Wars. When we adopt the same standards as our enemies, we have in effect surrendered and lost our Army, Navy and Border controls.

Hallelujah, a new era of mass interfaith rapprochement has dawned!
In all the pictures I counted less than a dozen. Two churches are named, the second slightly ambiguously, “A service was also held at the Saint-Pierre-de-l’Ariane church in a mainly immigrant area of Nice”.
Not exactly ‘across France’. A third was in Rome.

“We’re very touched,” the Archbishop of Rouen, Dominique Lebrun, told BFMTV.

It is a start though Peter.
These days , we might have cause to be grateful for small mercies like this one.
And-Peter Hitchens DOES say that Islam might only be the primer, once you add a drug habit and addiction to violent video games.
And-again to be fair, these nutters cite Islam maybe the way ex hooligans would claim to be fans for their teams.

Now-if the BBC and the like let this sink in, we can thing again-but if they DARE to imply that the Muslim attendees are somehow showing that Islam itself is not the problem…but the old or the pious might be…then I`ll rescind what I say.
Noted no “We are Jacques” hashtag crap…I mean, he`s an old bloke in a drab region of France-and the BBC will have to get over their “got to be a paedo then” nastiness to priets.
This story will run…a new low in the West, and it`s tipped something we won`t feel just yet…but feel it , we will.

Know much of David Woods work-but hadn`t seen this one…from 2012, so guess I didn`t look way back.
The other clip was very good too…both are clear and related of course.
Think we need something approaching a full spectrum response, and some intelligence and cunning…and certainly don`t feel as dismal as the last clip might suggest.
Whether it`s a Crusade at one end of the spectrum, and mocking how Muslim blokes pee( they`re meant to squat like ladies do-Muhammad did, so they`re meant to do the same!) at the other?…if Muslims know you`re the strong horse, then they`re fine.
They despise the BBC and the effete left as do we…but no Christian who knows his book and how to use the culture we`re in to threaten or to mute them need worry.
That the Catholics left Fr Jacques and the pensioners/nuns so bereft is NOT how we need to do this-no Mosque would be such a target,no Muslim would let one of his own be butchered like we did as “The European Western Christendom” on offer last Tuesday.
They crossed a line…now it`s our Cross they`ll need to watch now, and the liberal media know nothing of that.
Sharks smell blood and respond, horses smell fear and show contempt…we the People of God, the Friends of Jesus have no excuse not to take note, and act in direct response.
Muslims won`t lay off until we make it clear that this is Christian England-well, those few bits that are maybe?…but it`d be best not to mess with it.
We take our faith as seriously as they do-and we know ours better that they do theirs.
Until then, we`re sitting ducks for them….we need not be so.

Two articles caught my eye in The Times (this Saturday). Not in the BBC’s interest to report, obviously..
    1. UK export growth leads world thanks to sales outside Europe

    2.Go compare that to this:
French strike action drags economy into contraction as eurozone growth stumbles
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/06/23/french-strike-action-drags-economy-into-contraction-as-eurozone/

add to this the Italian Bank collapse:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/06/27/italy-eyes-40bn-bank-rescue-as-first-brexit-domino-falls/

and then add Spain’s financial problems:

    http://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/674092/Eurozone-Spain-meltdown-shares-plummet-EU-Spanish-banks

And then Greece never really ever went away…
Greek debt crisis threatens to flare up ahead of Brexit vote
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/05/07/greek-debt-crisis-threatens-to-flare-up-ahead-of-brexit-vote/

ADD ‘Euro bound’ IMF euro critics of the UK (and then IMF finds itself having to apologise) whilst former and current both heads of the IMF ends up in the courts on separate state charges…

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/07/28/imf-admits-disastrous-love-affair-with-euro-apologises-for-the-i/

    And then there’s Turkey.
Erdogan moves to tighten grip on Turkey after coup
(24 hours ago) Of course the BBC would prefer that we all went down the toilet together. The last one flushing would be Turkey sponsored by Erdogan which the BBC would describe as ‘a man’ who likes goats.

The BBC have so many times told us Turkey is a ‘secular’ country (thus acceptable to the EU). We just make all Europe Islamic and peace will reign on Earth. The BBC don’t believe in god, but they believe in Marxism.

‘Democracy is like a tram. You ride it until you arrive at your destination, then you step off’
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3693768/Standing-blood-vengeance-against-coup-beaten-Facetime-Mail-Sunday-reporter-watches-savage-retribution-against-Turkey-plot-unfold-walks-bullet-ridden-military-vehicles.html

This is a quote from one Recep Tayyip Erdogan, (aged 62) a militant Islamic who since 2003 has revolutionist a secular country. He is accused of crushing protests, shutting down critical media (not the BBC unfortunately) and locking up opponents.

The BBC would agree with that statement. Through Islam to Marxism.

I have to admit that I’m having trouble with the BBC’s reporting of the slavery story.

I thought that the BBC line is that we now have to accept that the UK is a multi-cultural society and that all cultures are equal. If we have welcomed a minority whose culture is to have slaves, are we not being judgemental, or even imperialistic, if we say that our moral standards are superior to their’s and they have to live by our standards?

Being White British I happen to think that my culture is superior to others and that people who choose to live in my country should be required to obey the laws of the country they have chosen to come to; but the standard BBC response to such a view is “Racist Bigot”.

      What have I missed?

Loobyloo, re the ‘Muslim couple’: I guess the BBC will pin that ‘post-it’ note to the Editorial Notice Board for future reference. Its no doubt given them an idea for putting devotees of their favourite religion on a pedestal. Fraid’ it’s a bit thin on the ground otherwise what with all the murder and mayhem their fellow Muslims are creating in Europe. Right now, they’re probably scouring the few Muslims currently in the armed forces to do just that for future reference.
A quick thought, surely when the Muslim serviceman (no females?) is attested and within that a declaration to support ‘Queen and Country’ he had to apply ‘Taqiyya’? BBC, lets have a documentary on this mental conflict and how the Muslim servicemen overcame the ‘attestation’ problem. Tag on the Muslim approach to women serving in the armed forces and, Hey Presto! you have the makings of a very interesting documentary.

I’m not an expert on their situation but, as I understand it, the rules which they complied with were changed retrospectively. In other high profile cases, deportation has been ruled out for highly spurious reasons.

Speaking purely for myself, I do care where they came from, and I make no apology for saying so.

I agree with you in cases where all other considerations are ok (i.e. no fraud, no criminality, no conflict with cultural norms ) British stock should confer advantage in Britain.

OT: I cancelled Sky (finally) this morning.

    Hi Sky News Team,

More pointless, un-evidenced climate change scare mongering on your site today, I see.

    http://news.sky.com/story/eco-safeguards-urged-as-arctic-ice-retreats-10518896

I thought you guys left that sort of political meddling to the BBC (and it’s little helper, Channel 4). Pathetic. You’re just as bad, if not worse than the BBC. I thought I was paying for an alternative voice in the liberal-dominated current affairs msm in this country. Seems I was wrong. These days, the only truly alternative voice in current affairs comes from the likes of RT. It’s a parlous state of affairs. Between Sky’s reporting on the recent Islamic terrorist attacks (pitiable, low-grade stuff), the channel’s undisguised disdain for anything to do with Trump (the sneer is clear) and a continual willingness to parrot CAGW propaganda without any attempt at rational scientific criticism… well, I think you know where this is headed.

Time to have a chat with Sky Customer Services about cancelling my 4 year-old subscription. I need to make some economies and getting rid of yet another biased, left-leaning current affairs provider (the existing market is so short of them, after all, don’t you think?) seems like a good place to start. A shame we had to fall out like this – but I’ve really had enough. I can’t ever get rid of the BBC without having to go without a TV completely, but at least with Sky I can decide to put myself out of your misery.

    Regards,

I then called Customer Services and cancelled my Sky subscription, effective from 1st September. It’s been something I’ve been thinking about for a while, but recent p*sspoor coverage of the Islamic terrorist attacks across Europe (don’t mention the ‘m-word’), Sky’s undisguised contempt for Trump and incessant climate change bollox all add up to = better off without Sky.

On the upside, I get to keep my Sky HD box which now becomes a Freeview box. £34 better off a month into the bargain. Result. I feel better already!

        Agreed ObiWan.
Most important piece of European fiction for years.
Describes the louche, amoral university lecturer who betrays his Jewish girlfriend who moves to Israel, as he conveniently becomes a Muslim to keep his job.
So plausible-the amoral, unthinking reflex lefty betrays the Jewish friend for a more pleasing life, pick of the Muslim girls now available in classes(and others who need less consideration if they are to pass)-and, , as a bloke-he need not fear of not getting plenty better jobs now the women have been removed from the top ones at the university.
No one in Britain could write it-for Houellebecq reveals his own anomie and is unsparing in that of his fellow lefties and intellectuals-we have no tradition of independent thought in our culture anymore, unless its online and out of MSM influence.
Came out on the day of Charlie Hebdo…showed clearly the plausible ratcheting up of Islamic domination of France, via sole use of the education sector( guess what, Islam only wants THAT?-so they`re as perceptive as the west isn`t…I mean, Nicki Morgan?…Estelle Morris?..say no more!).
And the best bit to me is that the French electorate are soothed and corralled into the Islamic pen, because they`d rather have a Left-Islam Alliance in power than the far more popular FN.

No chance. They ignored it when it was published; they’ve ignored its international success (both critically and commercially) and they’ll keep right on ignoring it. It doesn’t fit the BBC narrative. Ergo, it doesn’t exist.

I therefore urge everyone here to get a copy and read it. The word I’m looking for is ‘prescient’.

Compare & contrast this report by the BBC and its reporting of Islamic terror.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-36941296

Here we have a bona fide diagnosed Schizophrenic who has committed a gruesome murder . Undoubtedly he was failed by the socialised NHS which should never have discharged him from secure care.

Mr Lound (the victim) was gay and occasionally cross-dressed and Arnold (the killer) considered his victim to be “a weirdo”

So the murder is described as ‘Homophobic’ and ‘transphobic’. Odd that, because when some Islamist murders several people in the name of his religion, and even if he is never diagnosed as being mentally ill, that illness is diagnosed post attack by the media.

Muhiddin Mire (diagnosed Schizo) Is not described by the BBC as an Islamist nor is it a ‘hate crime’ nor ‘racist’ or ‘Xenophobic’ which it would have been if the perpetrator had been a white Christian.

Discrimination is defined in law as treatment different on the ground of race religion disability etc etc. And on that basis I’m going to call the BBC out as anti white racist, xenophobic and anti every other religion & none, due to its blatant Islamophillia !
