More BBC Brexit Alarmism

We noted earlier that the BBC was blaming the EU referendum for the slowdown in employment despite the fact that the US faces a similar problem and today the BBC once again makes a similarly false claim, saying that British industry is in recession due to fears of Brexit quoting this….

“Growth could be even weaker if the surveys disappoint in coming month, which seems probable given the intensifying uncertainty over the outcome of the EU referendum.”

No other reason is given for the figures.

The BBC tells us..

UK industry fell back into recession as it shrank for the second quarter in a row, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

It is the third time UK industry has been in recession in eight years.

Although industrial production rose 0.3% from February to March, it fell 0.4% both in the first three months of 2016 and in the last three of 2015.

So industry perked up in March but has been sluggish for several months [hmmm….hasn’t the BBC, and Labour, been telling us the economy has been sluggish since 2010…all due to Osborne’s austerity?  Guess the BBC has changed its mind]

But hang on…once again we look to America…

In January this year…

U.S. manufacturing teeters on the edge of recession

After a few years of unusually strong growth, the U.S. manufacturing sector is really hurting again.

The strong dollar, weak export markets and the collapse in commodity prices are taking a toll on American factories.

And on April 1st…ie just after March when British industry picked up a bit….

U.S. Manufacturing Index Indicates Growth For First Time In Six Months

After reporting contractions in U.S. manufacturing activity for five straight months, the Institute for Supply Management released a report on Friday showing that activity in the sector expanded at a faster than expected rate in March.

So is the American economy also subject to the malign influence of the EU referendum or is the BBC playing fast and loose with the truth and pumping out pro-EU propaganda?  One might come to that conclusion.

You won`t need me to tell you that Humphrys hounded, shouted and howled Boris Johnson throughout his “interview” this morning on Today.
Don`t bother your arse with the usual bollo from Humph and his splattergun paintball games-smears, lies and slithering crap.
God knows how Boris puts up with morons sucking the EU tumescent button mushroom, whilst chewing on their own plums.
But two points from 2.17 onwards.

    1. Boris points out that Camerons claim to reduce immigration to the tens of thousands is unenforcable…Humphrys says that we all know perfectly well that he no longer mentions this now…so end of, says Humph.
First time I`ve heard Cameron been let off the hook over yet another Tory promise not being achieved…anybody else remember the Tories being absolved of anything they once said-but “haven`t said that for months”
2, Boris asks where Humphrys is getting his figures from re his crap over the benefits of more Cologne, Molenbeek and Gothenburg in this country in the form of “enriching immigration”…Humph had no clue, but rattled off where he`s been told they`re from…then follows the usual “Treasury, Migration Observatory” type of pro-EU number clutches.
Basically all he uses are those figure prechewed by Ken Clarke, preheated by Paddy Ashdown-that`s all, really.
Very revealing-shameless lying queenings from the BBC axis of taxes who`d hate to have to do a days work without Brussels being stuffed in their fat gobs.
Boris did very well-but how the hell can we hear his points when Humphrys does a Freisler over all he`s trying to tell us?
Hope the undecided get to hear of this endless skewering of the facts-and vote to shut Humphrys up…hardly a year since I thought they`d be a bit more humble after the election-but, if anything, they`ve got even MORE bombastic, nasty and obtuse.

100% agree, my wife and I were shouting at Humphries to shut up and let Boris speak, which he continued to do driving JH mad-well done Boris-about time JH retired. Like most of these interviewers they know everything about nothing and nothing about anything. Over paid with an inflated opinion of themselves, for no apparent reason that any of us can condone. God knows what Lord Reith would make of the British Broadcasting Corporation were he alive, in fact it would probably kill the poor chap. Of course the Elitists in Europe are wetting their pants presently as Brexit roars ahead.

Maybe the slowdown in employment is because of fears that we may remain in the eu.

“So is the American economy also subject to the malign influence of the EU referendum ”

Clearly the remain campaign’s self contradictory claims that Brexit will result in both, the UK becoming a tiny, insignificant and irrelevant speck of rock floating in the mid-Atlantic without any influence at all, whilst simultaneusly becoming the biggest and nastiest evil country in the world leading to global economic depression (Osborne & Darling), global ecological catastrophe (Ed Miliband) and global thermonuclear war (Cameron), is beginning already, before the vote has even happened!!!

WOW! Do you know, when I was studying debate strategy, tactics and techniques, the first thing I learned is that if you have to rely on lies to make your argument, then you do not have an argument and are tacitly admitting defeat by performance.

The remain’s argument of mutually exlusive and self contradictory outcomes is utterly devoid of logic, reason or truth. The remain campaign are tacity conceding this debate and through their actions and lies, are admitting defeat.
