R4 4th Apr Today prog. The subject of the mismatch between ONS immigrant figures and NI number issued. Tried to defuse the problem by suggesting that they are big because they all got accumulated in one because they were slow to register, or something like that it was vague. What the dozy beeb had not thought through is that then if the immigrant came here to work, then they would get their NI number immediately so that they can work.

(As a slight aside, these NI number mismatch is supposed to be published in May. I suspect even these number will not show the full picture. Say these immigrants then bring over wives, children, elderly parents then these don’t need NI numbers, but I am sure they will be issued NHS numbers and registration. Add these in and may be a truer picture of immigration may be found)

      The tide flows onward.

See the following by “Robin” of Britain.

“Women and children” the people did sing

“Peace and harmony is what they bring”

The people with compassion agreed to be kind

To help mothers and children leave their sadness behind

But when the people opened their gates far and wide

They soon realised that they needed to hide

Miles of men seen like rivers of doom

Chanting, demanding and bringing their gloom

Yet still “For the children!” is what people cried

Standing on victims of rape and those who had died

The river kept flowing the children not seen

The lies kept on growing, nations bursting at the seam

The men kept on marching and the cries louder still

Little were the children and many were the men seeking thrill

The songs of the children grew quiet and faint

As the river marched onwards and proved the lies too late

Yet still were the whispers that children needed care

But the people knew that mostly, the children were not there.

BBC seem really pleased about the WI victory over England last night. Not 1, not 2, but 3 stories on the same subject on the homepage. But then of course their favorite team is anyone playing against England so probably keen to celebrate and really rub it in for any England fans!

EH, the BBC w/s Homepage is a complete disaster. Only three repetitions on there today? That’s pretty much standard for anything at any time. Last week may have seen an all time record: I think the introduction of the Living Wage merited over six slots. I think it was seven or eight. I intended to get a screen grab but was distracted by other tasks.

Did anyone else do a count?

James Purnell has been a bit of a disaster as Director of Digital as far as I can see. He should have been eased aside long ago.

In fairness they have reproduced the picture of Ben Stokes crying 5 times on the sports feed just in case any England fans didn’t get the message about how pleased the BBC are on the outcome of the match and how much they enjoy seeing England lose…and it’s a bumper fun day in the BBC sports office as the WI wimmin won too!

I was shocked and saddened by the BBCs offensive failure to comment about the lack of diversity in the West Indies cricket team.

Hideously mono racial, unlike the England team.

I’ve noticed this as a pattern for many years. A low point for me was reached when England scored a goal in the Football World Cup and the World Service commentator could not even dredge up any excitement in his voice as he mentioned it – as if the ball had just gone out of play for a throw in.

Naturally this anti-England attitude from the BBC permeates all its reporting. The BBC is filled to the brim with traitorous scum who would have been hanged from the nearest lamppost in rougher but more honest times.

Not bias as such, but …

It struck me at the weekend, especially when listening to Mark Mardell on The World this Weekend (BBC, R4 Sun 1pm) that Sajid Javid is doing quite a good job at single-handedly destroying the Conservative Party in Government.

He is said to be the architect (and was the promoter to appear on the BBC) for the 50% cut in the top Income Tax band increment. Labour have been able to beat Osborne & the Conservatives over the head with that particular stick ever since. Now he is managing to show up ‘the Party of Free Enterprise’ as being not particularly free or even slightly enterprising over the Port Talbot steelworks.

The BBC on R4 appear to have been fairly restrained in their criticism of Javid at times. They must be in a bit of a quandary. “Do we nail Javid and bring the damage to an end or do we leave him in place and hope that it helps Labour and Corbyn & McDonnell?” “Er, do we like Corbyn now?” “We used to be attacking him.” “Oh, perhaps we should attack Javid?” “Ah, but what if Cameron takes fright and sacks Javid? They might get someone in who really shines over the Port Talbot issue.” “Ummhh ..”

Javid got a good reception at Port Talbot… he had the balls to turn up and speak to the workers. Try and find another politician in any party who’ll go into the fray. Plus there are encouraging signs a deal is on the way.

You may be eating your words.

Or is it because he isn’t white? Surely not.

Er … I thought ‘policy’ rather than ‘person’ might have been apparent from my original post, LDV.

Actually, I can imagine several Conservative MPs & (ex) Ministers diving in with enthusiasm to save the plant. Not my favourite for any Party job, but I think Boris would. Gove? Certainly. David Davies? Maybe. Yes, they are all Caucasian but I don’t particularly care or think of that. Signs of ability & strong hints of a delivery of a good outcome count for much more in my eyes.

Someone on top of their Ministerial brief, irrespective of skin colour, might have been forewarned by the east-coast closures in England last year and would have had their eye on what would either help Tata or make the plant attractive to another investor. Visiting now? Javid was intending to be in Australia.

I’m happy to wish him well but his mind appears set against a nationalisation, against delivering the quick fixes the plant needs which may require standing up against EU & other rules.

Compare and contrast two reports on the England defeat in cricket.

    The Times:
He (Samuels) proved unable to let the moment of victory pass without rubbing salt into the wounds of Stokes, addressing his post-match press conference with his feet on the table in the most arrogant manner.

Samuels said: “He does not learn. They keep ¬telling him when he plays against me not to speak to me, because I am going to perform. I did not even face a ball before he had so much to say, and I knew I had to be right there at the end. That is what I thrive on.

“Stokes is a nervous laddie, so what I told Brathwaite was to just hold his pose because he was going to bowl a couple of full tosses, as always, and it would work in our favour.”

    The BBC website:

BBC cricket correspondent Jonathan Agnew: ” England looked absolutely crushed. It’s really good to see a smile on the face of West Indies cricket. It’s a unique brand of the game and it needs to be nurtured and encouraged.”

I disagree. The BBC sports coverage is dreadful like so much of their output. Their cricket coverage is especially awful. It lacks insightful analysis and has given way to a kind of cheap tabloid style. Just because you used to hold a bat or bowl for England doesn’t make you a great commentator. Why does everyone think they are comedian? Brian Johnson was genuinely funny. David Lloyd is very funny. It was and is part of their natural way which added much to the atmosphere of their reporting – for others it’s not, so concentrate on giving me the analysis from a player perspective that would add value. Little chance. There is great cricket journalism out there – but sadly none of it is on the BBC these days. As for Agnew I suppose he can always say he nearly got a century for England. Sadly it was with the ball not the bat.

Add ‘with the BBC’ and I totally agree.

When Moeen was doing well last year Agnew went out of his way in one brief Today match preview to explain how he uses his religion to guide him when playing and interacting with other members of the team, how he likes it to be reflected in everything he does, makes him a calm and good man etc. etc.

It was one of the most puke-inducing, contrived pieces of batting for Islam I’ve ever heard from the BBC – and that really is saying something, as Bananarama might sing.

On Start the Week Andrew Marr discusses the state of the Eurozone and the politics of austerity with the economist and former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, the Director of the Institute of Global Affairs Erik Berglof and the Mayor of London’s Chief Economic Advisor, Gerard Lyons. Yanis Varoufakis tracks the problems of the Eurozone to its woeful design and its continued reliance on debt and austerity, rather than reform. The classicist Paul Cartledge explores the history of democracy back to its birthplace in Athens and traces the long slow degradation of the original Greek concept. Since the crisis in 2008 Greece has been in economic and political turmoil but there has also been a cultural renaissance. The academic Karen Van Dyck has brought together the best of contemporary Greek poetry by multi-ethnic poets in a new anthology.

Readers really should listen to this (if they can bear it) as an object lesson in bias. It has every single meme the BBC is running with at the moment. – Pro EU, anti Euro zone, pro mass migration, pro refugee, pro Islamist, anti democracy, it even goes so far as to criticise what they call the lumpen proletariat who want a say in their future but the educated elites such as the BBC staff do not believe that their lives should be influenced by people they see as less educated than themselves.

Textbook bias, how do they get away with it ?

That is because the BBC cultural marxists do not recognise that English people really exist so they are ‘so called’.
It is disgraceful and patronising and an example of just how pervasive is the innate treachery of our liberal elite.

Could have been no worse than last nights police drama on ITV Marcella, so far showing brutal murders of ethnic British men by brutal ethnic British men, while all the good cops are foreign ethnicity or female or dyke (one exception being a lowly fellow who does what he’s told).

The heroine Marcella has recently been dumped by her successful black husband, and we are shown a flashback to her begging him not to go and indulging in a bit of stalking to find out if he has someone else, he does.

The writer is the same who wrote the cult series The Bridge, set in Malmo.

Hans Petersson was born in 1964 in Borås, Västergötland. He grew particularly tall during puberty and was treated with growth hormone at fourteen years old to limit his growth. He reached his full height of 2.06 metres (6.8 ft) at fourteen. He considered a career as a basketball player, and briefly worked as a sea lion trainer at Borås djurpark. He also had jobs as a chauffeur and a teacher before deciding to become an actor. He took on the surname Rosenfeldt – his mother’s maiden name – during school, replacing his birth name.

Choosing to reject his Swedish surname and heritage to embrace his mothers Jewish heritage says all we need to know about this traitors sympathies!

The Bridge was well done and the PeeCee messages subtle, but it seems no holds barred in thumping out the propaganda for an English speaking audience across the world, Britain land of multikulti opportunity and weak men who cannot run their own police service!

This quote from Paul Kahn, the president of Airbus Group UK, is very interesting,’Asked whether the company would move from the UK if there was a vote to leave the EU, he said: “We are not going anywhere” but warned investment could be diverted to China and the United States.’
The obvious follow up question, well it would be obvious for an objective journalist, should have been,
“Mr Kahn, do you mean that investment destined for the UK would be diverted to China or the US in preference to somewhere else in Europe?”

But after the 7am news it was back into full multi-culti, pro-open door immigration mode. To the bBBC ‘victimisation’ is the process of searching out ‘victims’ of anything and everything and portraying them as beaten up by the nasty Tories. This morning we had a victim of the floods, ‘randomly chosen’ no doubt, who even the presenter could see was a stooge when she ended the ‘interview’ with a pre-written diatribe supporting some pressure group or other. Slightly misleading as not all stage bound projectiles were cans many would be plastic containers often containing urine. I recall there were three options.
        a)Empty can
        b)Liquid option-urine
        c)Solid can-mud.

I remember Devo getting the can treatment at Knebworth 78…now I`d gone to see them, and so I saved my cans for Genesis during the Moose`s solo in “Follow You, Follow Me”.
But it was dark then, and some hapless stoner would have got a dirty neck at worst a few steps nearer the bloody awful Genesis.
I really should have marketed something to lob the cans much further for those times-bloody Aswad, Osibisa, Steel Pulse indeed were a segment worthy of a gently lobbed Red Stripe tin with Calypso Tropical flat fizz inside(cultural sensitivities ticked) at all those ANL/RAR gigs I went to in 1977-81 maybe?
Think the best “canning Town” experience I saw was Patrik Fitzgerald in 1980…with an honourable mention to the Vibrators in 79 up on Tyneside…a brown ale tin seems to have a mind of its won, unlike most of the lefty geordies I was part of up there!
Got to be a discussion board here-did you spit into your can before you threw it for good luck and a bonne voyage?
Be worth a reunion to recreate the canning of Jimmy Purseys Sham 69 maybe. if you`re up for it?

Remember Tony Benn trying the same “hangin` out with Uncle Joe” crap with Roy Bailey-who, to be fair was far more of a musician than Bumper Car Billy…
And Benn had something to say, usually crap, but that he could say it at all was worth the patronage.
So to see Bragg as a Bailey is like saying that Tiny Tim is Little Richard.
Still-they can “dance on Tony Benns bones” this time-poor old Tom Paines are a bit dusty now.
They will , of course, have to get access to the Benn Estate and private means to exhume even a pinkie from the old fraud…but at least they`ll be socialist relics that we won`t have to consider as a Prime Minister.
Reckon that the army died a little when it took Tankie Bragg in to serve it..served nothing but himself and his wet wedge types now since 1987.
Only hope a few people demand a small refund from that whacking ticket price-if we want indoctrination we go directly to the BBC, not its Savile/Peel Yurt of Yoof!

‘A note on terminology: The BBC uses the term migrant to refer to all people on the move who have yet to complete the legal process of claiming asylum. This group includes people fleeing war-torn countries such as Syria, who are likely to be granted refugee status, as well as people who are seeking jobs and better lives, who governments are likely to rule are economic migrants’

Nothing illegal there then? We should strike illegal from the dictionary I guess.

No surprise here, the BBC effectively tells us that white kids are trash compared to the ethnic superiors.
Hopefully on reaching adulthood these superiors can piss off to the third world shitholes and employ their talents to raise them up to the standards we once had before our schools were overwhelmed by ethnics

Unless, of course, the assessment standards are screwed in the way that university standards are adjusted for ethnic students by ethnic academics who owe their university places to token appointed ethnic academics. Geddit.

Note how the BBC refers to white children. Imagine the response if someone spoke of black children lagging behind white children.

This might answer the BBC’s question about inferior white indigenous British children.

I remember reading an article, probably in the Mensa magazine, that said that although Afro-Caribbean’s are about on average, 15 to 20 percent less intelligent than indigenous Brits. Afro-Caribbean’s developed into adulthood at a faster rate, which means that they are more intelligent than white people under the age of about ten years. In fact this peaks at the age of four. Also in addition to this, Monkeys are more intelligent than one year old Humans. This also explained why a group of Black school kids in the US, after winning a chess championship one year. Then, after that, they progressively deteriorated over progressive years in competing with white kids.

Put another way, if someone from another planet arrived to watch our national broadcaster he would rightly believe he was in Africa and not in a country that was over 80% white.

This morning ‘stormin’ Norman’ was driving a taxi cab, with Sadiq Khan as passenger (don’t ask); lots of platitudes from Khan about what he’d do for London etc etc. Then came the comment that ALL children of immigrants make when they want to push diversity….”my parents were immigrants and were welcomed here, and this is what makes this country of ours so great”.

I get very frustrated with these statements, as …. 1) we, the indigenous peoples had migrants from India to Jamaica dumped on us without us having a say in the matter. 2) Er, the migrants of the last 50 years have no HISTORY of this country so hardly a case of ‘this country of ours’ – these are people who would struggle with any knowledge of our part in WW2 simply because they don’t have fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers who could hand the stories down. These are peoples who know the price of everything to sell in their corner shops but have never worked down a coal mine for an 8 hour shift. These are people who complain about lack of diversity in the Arts, Film and TV, but how many can be seen in the audience of your local theatre ? My local theatre is 30 mile outside of London and sighting an ethnic in the audience is as rare as hen’s teeth. Not their culture is it.

I read in The Express that the BBC are being praised for recent Russian VIDEO BBC ‘discovery’ in a new BBC documentary on the Spy’ named Kim Philby Mi5 thought it was ‘impossible’ and tried to protect his name in public. ‘He was only exposed as a double agent – alongside the other Cambridge Five members Donald Maclean, Guy Burgess and Anthony Blunt – in 1963, by which time he is believed to have spent years passing on top secret documents to the KGB‘

But the BBC are less keen to be show how they sponsored the spies such as Guy Burgess who was one of the infamous ‘Cambridge Five’ Spy ring who just happened to be working for (on the famous BBC ‘expenses’ payroll for the entire war effort). ‘Burgess, one of the Cambridge Five of traitors who passed information to the Soviet  Union during the Cold War, worked as a BBC producer between 1936 and 1944 before joining the Foreign Office.

Definitely not as reported by the BBC News today..on the EU Turkey deal..

Erdogan has boasted that he is proud of boldly blackmailing EU leaders into paying him protection money.
Erdogan’s threats were almost criminally sinister: “… the EU will be confronted with more than a dead boy on the shores of Turkey. There will be 10,000 or 15,000. How will you deal with that?”
According to the agreement, 80 million Turkish citizens will have visa-free access to the European Union.
The nightmare scenario for a desperate EU is that no matter how much it bows to extortionist demands from Turkey, the migrant crisis will continue to grow. Even if Turkey closes down all migrant routes from Turkey into Europe, refugees could take new routes through North Africa or the Caucasus.
Meanwhile, 800,000 migrants are currently on Libyan territory waiting to cross the Mediterranean, according to French Defense Minister Jean-Yves le Drian.

This is an interesting story of how the BBC censors information, again. I looked at information that mentions the “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists” as regards the BBC,s censorship policy for climate science, scientists and scientific debate. The BBC told Mensa members that it had no scientific investigative journalists for investigating Climate science issues.
The reason for this seems to be that the Management makes sure that the BBC depends on a left-wing Mainstream Media gatekeeper called the “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists” which just happens to be funded by George Soros.

Just like the censorship of Climate science, scientists and scientific debate the “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists” is censoring most of the information leaked to it in the Mossack Fonseca database. In fact the Guardian has actually said that “much of the leaked material will remain private“. In Britain, only the Guardian and the BBC have access to the database.

The “International Consortium of Investigative Journalists” seems to have been set up by the establishment as a way of controlling the Mainstream media through censorship. Instead of having independent investigative journalists supplying the information directly to publication, this media gatekeeper organisation uses BBC and the Guardian journalists as useful idiots.

More information about this can be seen in this article:

Richard, I don’t directly see the link to Climate Change you see – but then we do know the two main Advertisers (at least in the UK as Guardian and BBC) as sponsoring 100% Climate Change initiatives – which coincidentally become the next EU directive (definitions as being solely caused CO2); that we are (UK) forced to implement in combating mystical ‘Climate Change worldwide (absurd claim). But the direct results is the very high cost of Electricity here in the UK and the current closure of TATA industry (formerly British Steel). Its a fact that our electricity is now officially 50% more expensive than the rest of Europe 5 ( despite Germany relying on Coal and Diesel generators). There is no Science debate in the EU (which prohibits political objection on any of its key objectives). In the scheme of things, the BBC and The Guardian are co-conspirators in a left wing alliance but George Soros, Kellog’s and Carnegie etc. -as left wingers? (left wingers generally support Climate Change as it means the closure of heavy industry and changing the political ‘environment’. I cannot see how they could do that. Am I missing something?

He funds the Media control Industry, set up for this same loony agenda. Its why on more than one occasion, Astronomers and Journalist such as Nigel Calder, James Delingpole and Donna Laframboise, have not just had material blocked by a Soros funded media organisation, but also personally attacked by its useful idiots. Also, Mossack Fonseca has 441 American clients, but none have been named by the BBC/Guardian. So most of them must be Democrats and Environmental lobbyists.

A change in the political arrangements of a country-link in such supply chains – for example, an EU member-state deciding to move to “associate” status, or to renounce EU membership entirely – is highly unlikely to disturb supply chains, especially those that have been operating for decades. In the case of the A380, the country that builds the wings, supplies the customers’ preferred aero-engines and much of the plane’s engineering expertise, is the UK.

Jeremy will no doubt wax lyrical at PMQs about the dirty deeds of the Cameron family – with good reason, no doubt – but he should first perhaps do a bit of research into the Jersey-based Wedgewood-Benn family trust – he might find that the use of the word ‘trust’ stretches credulity and seriously damages the much vaunted ‘socialist principles’ of St. Tony. Such a shame, but there it is.

Well, well, Lord Janner misled the inquiry. As close as one can get to lying as is possible.
Janner’s sargeant at arms Keith Vaz needs to apologise to Parliament and the country, for his poor judgement and continual defence of Janner.

I rarely read or take much notice of the Guardian but they seem on the money here about VAZ.

Keith Vaz was one-time former borough Solicitor for a SW London Council. It was he that alerted the Police to ‘strange goings on’ at certain times on a ‘certain’ common, not far away, that was frequented by homosexuals, some links were found to link to ‘famous’ known BBC production staff and others to high ranking Westminster MP’s. The Boarding House known as ‘Elm Guest House’ was frequented by politicians many of whom are now dead (although it hinges on current Police inquiries into Westminster historic sex crimes which look as though it will collapse through lack of ‘evidence’. The Police ‘credible witness’ known as ‘Nick’ suffers from lack of hard evidence as some abused boys are now dead. The Police who initially raided the (Elms) property were kept well away and all ‘evidence’ removed at the time by a secret Police unit. Nobody was ever charged. The abused boys (all from a local London care home bussed in by the Council) none were deemed as being credible witnesses (all being frightened and ‘under-age’ boys). Nobody at the Council were interviewed or charged. Keith Vaz would have known all about this – as it was he that ‘alerted’ the Police in the first place. It has always been an ‘official’ cover up ever since although (Lord) Janner was never named nor has Vaz ever given evidence against any of them.

Ok, its not the Beeb but ITV – just watching Marcella (wont bore you with details), in the first 15 minutes we discover she is in a mixed race marriage, is working with a lesbian and her boss is clearly of Middle East descent. I’m still laughing. I bet two thirds of Britain (who are watching it) must be saying the same thing, but daren’t comment by writing to the newspapers or mentioning it in public for fear of being called a bigot. Not exactly freedom of speech is it.

There ought to be laws against this sort of thing! Surely nobody has to work alongside such people?

THE VERY IDEA! That someone who whinges about mixed race marriages, gays in the workplace and non-white bosses might *possibly* be thought of as a bit of a bigot! Where do people get these ideas from?

Incidentally, as you are so eloquent in your sarcasm (and not of a mature age) perhaps you would care to enlighten the rest of us as to why the media are so hell bent on throwing mixed race marriages at us, be it drama or commercials – and they seem to be two a penny now, because they are not THAT common in real life ! On Sundays the World Service gives listeners a narrow window of opportunity to challenge its many faults. It’s called ‘Over to You,’ hosted by Rajan Datar. Usually he brings in a senior person to justify the BBC’s sins but nobody was prepared to face the fire re yesterday’s main complaint – the discrepancy in reporting on the Brussels and Lahore attacks. Brussels was “wall to wall” while Lahore barely featured.

The World Service grudgingly provided Datar with a written statement that many correspondents were on the scene to report on Brussels while access to Lahore was restricted and, bizarrely, that there were “multiple explosions and a number of suspects” in Brussels but only “a single explosion” in Lahore.

Now of course there is nothing that strange about the BBC covering its massive collective arse with obfuscation and mealy-mouthed half truths. Anyone familiar with what motivates the BBC will know that Lahore was not adequately reported on because the BBC habitually minimises and covers up the ongoing Muslim slaughter of Christians worldwide. And so I was amazed to hear Datar speak of atrocities and terror attacks in blatant disregard of the unwritten rule to shy away from accurate descriptions of Islamic barbarism.

But it got even better. Datar brought in Mike, from BBC Trending, who shattered a fundamental principle of lefty political correctness with the following observation:

“It’s completely natural to have a stronger reaction to something that’s closer to you, whether that’s geographically or culturally.”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03p31h9#play

This could be the thin end of the wedge. In time we could see more and more BBC hacks start to shake off their peecee shackles. Hell, the BBC could eventually even bring us half-decent news programmes.

Those who have seen the recent film ‘Legend’ about the Kray twins will have seen the scene in which Ronnie Kray has a gay sex party which was attended by a Tory Lord, and a Labour politico. When the Police approach Harold Wilson with the news, they first tell him about Tory peer Lord Boothby, and Wilson shows his hate of the Tories saying he would only expect such from them. When presented with the evidence of Labour Chairman Tom Driberg however he decides that the adverse publicity is too great a price to pay, and hushes the whole sordid scene up.

Driberg was a horrible man – perhaps the equivalent of the modern Peter Mandelson, without any talent however, and for his efforts received a life peerage!

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Driberg

    Boothby wasn’t much better

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Boothby,_Baron_Boothby

The press knew all about both of them, but declined to tell. The political parties knew about them, and did all they could to keep the scandal away from the public realm.
The level of squalid depravity both parties fell to is appalling, although almost certainly it goes on today with Journalists failing to print what might end up in the demise of a mans (and lets face it most of the perves are men) career.

Yes. So when a patronising arse comes after me but stays silent when numerous right wing lunatic bigots act like they’re the silent majority, I have another word to go to as well as sanctimony, hypocrisy and idiocy.

    “We don’t mind a bit of bias…”

Fear not, the BBC haven’t suddenly thrown their hands up in frank admission of the obvious. This was just a flip remark from Dan Walker – the new chap on BBC Breakfast. A show that’s hardly known for its men’s men and where he makes Billy Turnbull look like John Wayne in his pomp. Like all the current crop this BBC posh boy is more Marlborourgh College than Marlboro Man.

But the discussion that prefixed that off-the-cuff semi-blooper was interesting in the way that it gave an insight into the seemingly endless conveyor belt of straight-to-air BBC daily issue campaingers.

Great Crested Newts – I kid you not. The beeboids ask of their guest newt wrangler : “Why should we care?”

Answer: “Well, to be honest, it’s my job… so I’m biased”

Oh hallelujah, for once we have a BBC guest willing to be honest with the viewers. The guy actually declared his self-interest. He sees a newt and to him it looks like his bread and butter. If only a few more BBC guests were as frank.

Today he`ll be a top musician on the verge of true greatness-why he might have become a Ronnie Size, a Tineh Tempah, a Dizzy Rascal or even a Dappy!
Now-do we file his death under Biggie or Tupac in scale…ask `em down in childrens telly or sport, Elspeth will you hon?
Top Recording Arsist -to-be slain on Da Street maan!
Do whites like Eminem and Mike Skinner HAVE to be so much better than our useless Ronnie Hiltons of rap, as spawned in Peabody Ghettoes of Sahf Landan then?
Still-consider the upside…what with the deaths of the Warrington lads and manager a few weeks back( who`d only just touched the hem of Jo Whileys nightie..THAT`S how close to being big they were!)…and our chum above…AND Bowie-and hopefully a rewind to how we all felt when Jacko passed by the ballpool in 2009…we could get at LEAST half a days silence by way of tribute at Glasto this year.
Maybe more if we get some mud and Jezzas/Braggs motability scooter to the Deadwood Stage can`t run in the slime…oozing from Billys guitar case, where he forgot to take his prawn fricasse and sanatogen out in time.

Since when did talking over someone else’s music in way that no one can understand become a ‘talent’?

All musical genres pass, Rock’n’Roll, Glam, Punk, Grunge, New Wave, New Romantic etc etc, but bloody Rap has been with us since the ‘seminal’ (sic the BBC) Rappers Delight in 1979 and hasn’t really evolved at all.

Is it ‘cos it is cultural?

In more murder news… ‘where you are’…. I think the BBC London news presenter this morning said her name was ‘Arthur Patel’ – perhaps I’m getting a bit mutt ‘n’ jeff in my old age? Anyway the bright and new minted BBC presenter obviously didn’t fancy getting to grips with too many tricky tongue twisters just yet. Although she named ‘Mr Nasrollahi, who died from a single stab wound…. following a fatal stabbing in Barnet, north London’ she demurred to mention the names of the four local chaps charged with his murder.

BBC London on line fills the gaps – in case anyone was wondering

‘John Opoku Appiagyei, aged 26, of Ballards Lane, Finchley and Francis Osei Appiagyei, 23, of Albany Road, Brentford, were charged on Monday….Bright Osei, 21, of north Finchley, and Nelphy Lelu, 22, of Golders Green, appeared at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.’

    ‘No biggie’ as they say.

    ‘Black Lives Matter’ anyone?

Biased BBC may have been that largely or in some measure in the past. It was a complaint that several made on here.

Now, it is increasingly becoming a replacement community for wider matters who used to group around the Blogs of the Senior BBC Editors: Politics, Economics & Business. The BBC have been increasingly clamping down on any form of Comment and Have Your Say on those for several years. Now, in its infinite wisdom, it has shut those down to comment. Yesterday was interesting in that it marked the first day – in my memory – that the BBC had no Comment or HYS available on any subject other than Sport on its main pages.

That drives people away from the BBC’s own web-site, does it not Jerrod?

It is Charter Renewal year and closing down debate or comment doesn’t seem to be a good way to demonstrate a commitment to Inform, Educate and Entertain or to openness and democracy. Is that correct, Jerrod?

Does this current BBC policy toward participation by ‘the owners and funders’ of its business not drive people away to sites such as this one, Jerrod?

The BBC’s dabblings with interactivity have worked out about as well as their commitment to transparency.

I am wondering how and when they will review what happens on Facebook posts, as they now very seldom suggest that the BBC speaks for the audience capable of responding.

Twitter they have sorted: follow only fellow travelers, block any with counter views. This mirrors their editorial integrity guidelines perfectly.

Great bit of shed telly for blokes last night on BBC4.
James May fixing up an old lawn mower-and a British Airways jet getting a recon in Cardiff.
Great telly-90 mins, no gays, no nails, no shrieks, no gender bendings and no Claire Balding…and her feministical bush birds who pack inside her like a Trojan trannie.
Yorkie bar our, bottle of brown…and whoever put THOSE 90 minutes together deserves the WTT medal( Worm That Turned!).
Lots of face powder, snot and runny mascara on the shed window outside this morning…GOOD!
Going to fix that bike puncture today now!..TRUE inspiring telly there lads!
And not a mention of global mashups either…not a moaning minority, no shade of Benetton required re face colours either. No green crap, no birds killed.
Deep joy…we were all heroes for 90 mins then!

You weren’t playing close attention, the woman camera person (often in shot) who just happened to have the right spanner in her ‘kit’ to reassemble the throttle mechanism, subliminal, but it was there….

Was it really 90 minutes? I thought it was 30.

No, never really noticed her-was she though a Debbie McGee to the Paul Daniels/James May parallels?
Or did she just look like a bag of spanners…whatever did happen to Charlie Dhimmi?

      Jerrod who?

Seriously, he/she is a troll intent on hurt. He/she/bbc mole often fails to produce a challenging argument and also rarely answers the questions put to him/her. I tend to read Jerrod’s posts cursorily these days.

However, it would be good if jerrod/zero did produce an informative analytical post which promulgated thoughtful debate without the normal snide concomitant rudeness.

Indeed, this site would most certainly benefit from a genuine alternative pro BBC view which could,if possible, provide a more challenging, thought provoking debate. I would greatly welcome this, and the debate would I hope be measured, polite, pertinent and constructive.

If Jerrod is the best representative the BBC can provide to represent its left wing views then that it is, in itself, a consequential statement of an inept and incompetent flawed corporation in dire need of a root and branch reorganisational overhaul

Got to be honest-hardly see the bloke, but he did call me a humungus or such, which took me to the dictionary for a few minutes.
So see him as an educational charity maybe.
Certainly can detect a smell of old socks and grannys gripe water at times when he`s breezed by here with a rubber mallet and a sponge brick…and he gets his betters a bit eggy at times.
But a harmless diversion really-as if an old Werthers Original had been spat out and left under the coming tanks in Tiananmen Square.
If you read this far jerry-I know it was humunculus by the way. Education is never wasted.
