OPEN THREAD…

Alright then, Here’s a new Open Thread for you to detail the bias. I was on with Jon Gaunt this morning and we were discussing how the BBC emotes its coverage of “Syrian refugees”. They are using their massive media reach to convey THEIR opinion that we must “do” something to help Syrians. That’s not their job and its time we stopped seeing this alleged reporters hamming it up as third rate actors.

But Grassroots Out (GO) is anti-EU – so nothing to see here.

I was watching BBc because my Mother told me C*ntryfile was about Tyne & Wear which is where my family was from. Now I never watch c*ntryfile, as I assumed it was for farmer types. Well I lasted 20 min or so as it turned out the Tyne and Wear article was somewhat limited. The rest of the program was all about flooding and global warming. Click off…

Yes, as someone who lives in the country, I can honestly say that Countryfile is about as relevant as East Enders is to real London.

Mind you, the BBC wouldn’t dare report the real feelings of we straw chewers. There aren’t enough smelling salts in the whole world to revive them if they heard even a smattering of what real people think about ‘travellers’ – to name just one of their favoured species!

Simon Reeve a nice documentary about Greece.

9 minutes in the first mention of climate change….not by the Greek, he blamed pollution for the failure of the sponges he was diving for.

14 minutes, full on refugees, he cried as he spoke to people telling him they’d just spent a thousand dollars to get across from Turkey. He reported though that a female Syrian refugee who he and his team offered a lift to were stopped and instructed to make her walk….she was a woman in a car full of men…..and she “didn’t have permission” to get in the car.

And then there was a discourse with a hippy looking guy interrupted by a man saying ” we don’t know how many are jihadis or are carrying diseases”, this was then “balanced” by hippy guy and Simon talking about the “desperation” of the refugees and how “this cannot be stopped” of course the fact the Aussies did just that seemed to escape them.

Now we are seeing Simon trying out a gun “it’s against our culture” he says, with a Greek priest while the soundtrack plays African Sanctus. the Greek priest is later present when a song asking where the mother of God was when the Nazis came to shoot resistance fighters.

Ottomans glossed over but German atrocities getting a good airing, but they were Nazis and weren’t Muslims like the Ottomans.

Add a discussion of the bankers who have wrecked Greece.

So a BBC documentary about Greece….climate change, refugees, Nazis, bankers and still 20 minutes to run!

I’ve noticed the name Matine Croxall cropping up recently as appearing rather – shall we say – left-leaning

Seems viewers have picked up on the BBC News Channel paper review as being the arena for our Martine to dispay her right-on nature.

I can lend some weight to this as I too witnessed within recent days a paper review where two journos – let’s call them lefty and left-er (I didn’t take notes) – were both coming down decidedly on one side of a story. Our Martine labouriously trotted out a vaguely rightist view point on the story in that half-hearted BBC ‘some people might say’ manner when the presenter really doesn’t care less. This centre-right view went down like a pork pie at a barmitzvah. The beared male journo shot Maxine a look down his guardianista nose as if to say ‘how could you?’ Our BBC presenter Martine felt the liberal angst of her fellow and appealed “I’m just doing my job”

Too many lefty journos. Too much of the same mindset. Too much Maxine Croxall

20 percent unemployment in Greece gets a mention, but goes unlinked with the “unstoppable” migration.
We’re shown a large Greek family near Athens living in a leaky, converted shipping container, but migrants welcome was the earlier line. And no tears now from Simon…”I’ve seen worse on planet Earth”.

Much better to talk about Greeces landfill problem……the worst landfill rate in Europe, shock…horror. Environment box gets a nice big tick.

Now to Exarchia near central Athens…centre of the “anarchist” protest movement…..they get moved on by two local youths…”scumbags” as Reeve describes them….hey Simon, perhaps they don’t like being treated like inhabitants of a zoo.

50 percent youth unemployment and Greece has increasing inequality…all the fault of the wealthy elite… Remind us Simon…..who has run the government in Greece for the last year? Ha yes….Syriza….the coalition of the Radical Left. Not mentioned.

We were told the elite were unpatriotic because they dodged their taxes…sadly he couldn’t find time to speak to any patriotic Greeks, from Chrissi Avgi or the Independent Greeks….only Anarchists, who chased him away.

Funny thing is, I knew it would be as useless as this but I felt that it was my duty to watch what I pay for.

The BBC bias with respect to US politics has been noted often on this site. Obama is God and can do no wrong. And of course he is black (despite having a white mother and black (absent) father). So, what else has Auntie told us? What do we know?

We know that the BBC are supportive of Hillary Clinton, in spite of her recent law breaking revelations. We know that the open Socialist, Bernie Sanders, is a nice guy – thanks for that BBC. We know that Donald Trump is so evil, we should abandon our british sense of fair play and ban that potential POTUS from these shores, or at least talk about doing so.

But what of Trump’s rivals for the Republican nominee? Ted Cruz, who won the Iowa Caucus on Monday, would be the natural ‘horse’ for the BBC to back in response to The Donald, who is evidently beyond the pale. Well, Cruz is a respecter of science, with scientist parents. He is therefore aware of the ‘science’. Here he explains, and you will understand why the BBC will be giving no column inches to him:

Could the BBC broadcast this please? Or at least disseminate the facts clearly (ie the data and the computer model predictions.) No the BBC can not. We have to google WUWT to get some facts and links to real scientific scrutiny.

Scrap the BBC. Propagandising our children with fear and lies about Carbon Dioxide and fossil fuels.

Roger Helmer is on the ball with the climate scam. Vote UKIP.

‘…We know that the BBC are supportive of Hillary Clinton…’

Do you know, I’m not so sure about that any more. There’s a new kid on the block that has got the BBC’s juices flowing; ‘BERNIE…BERNIE…BERNIE’

‘Bernie’ has been getting quite a few favourable pieces from the BBC over the past few weeks. He’s the new political outsider, a US Corbyn…’Jim’ (the BBC don’t use surnames any more – we’re all expected to be members of the BBC Today family – or should I say cult) was reporting form Ohio this morning – he was even employed the BBC’s Corbynesq phrase ‘movement’ to describe what was going on and what differentiates ‘the self described democratic socialist’ Sanders from the insider Clinton.

‘Banks, insurance companies, big business, big oil – ‘ripping us off’, redistribution’ they were all their in ‘Jim’s’ report.

The US only needs to look across to Europe, to Britain and to the EU to see what Democratic Socialism has wrecked. God help America.

    Monday morning Toady.
Big news is a more compassionate approach to women in prison having babies.
To my amateur eye, the obvious solutions to this are 1. use contraception 2. Don’t break the law. But moving on.
A very erudite convict is ‘randomly’ chosen by the bBBC and, surprise surprise, asserts that prison is no answer and something like tagging and living in a hostel is what is needed. Very compassionate I’m sure.
What a shame such compassion is not available from the bBBC for the victims of the crimes committed and for the taxpayers funding the justice system.
Fully in the bBBC radical feminist narrative tradition however.
Meanwhile the rest of us can look forward to a big outcry and rise in public spending as a huge rise in the number of women who ‘happen’ to have become pregnant in between carrying out the crime and being convicted receives the full suite of bBBC emotions.

NI/Ireland story – Stormont good thing but nasty Unionists always ruining chance for peace, IRA atrocities all too long ago unless British Army/Government involved then calls for unlimited public inquiries.

Black Victim story – Always victim of circumstance and the benefit of the doubt given WITHOUT QUESTION.

Muslim story – if it’s negative, then men/asians/militants is the language. If positive, then islamic/muslim used REPEATEDLY

And then after the erudite convict (actually on re-listening ex-convict – convicted of fraud), to get some ‘balance’ LOL – we talk to someone from the prison reform trust who asserts that most women in prison have been victims of serious crime – rape etc and are in prison for committing persistent petty crime offences. Fed a nice easy ball by the ‘caring sharing’ interviewer that things have got worse on Cameron’s watch (in a half-laughing tone) , she is nicely tee-ed up to say that ” in the last 2 or 3 years….. staff have been cut by a third, the budget has been slashed”

The absolutely key question that is never ever put by the BBC is to ask whether the woman was pregnant when she committed the crime, or if she just happened to get pregnant during the often quite long period between being arrested and the trial.

We all laughed when the condescending Michael Fish assured us back in October 1987 that there was no chance of a hurricane on the way.

By God, the BBC and Met Office are now punishing us for our one moment of disrespect. Every weather system is now a frightenly named potential humanitarian disaster approaching at speed across the Atlantic.

The new term ‘Weather Bomb’ is calculated to put us in fear. The new system of constantly rotating colour-coded ‘Weather Warnings’ is designed both to frighten us and to make sure the Met Office don’t get caught out again like Mr Fish.

The new BBC network of civilian mobile phone cameras makes sure they can bring us the pic of the deepest puddle or highest wave anywhere.

From the Manchester Evening Lies, a Labour Supporting Left wing paper, yet there’s nothing about this on the BBC, even on the Manchester page.

Fears have been raised of a third gangland feud in Salford after shots were fired into a barbers shop.

It is believed the feud is rooted in the Turkish community.

Why are we even allowing so many Turks into the UK ? It’s not as if they are being tortured – well maybe some of the Kurds might have a case for that, but they were supposed to have scaled all that back when they were trying to join the EU.

This is more evidence that serious crime is being brought to the UK by migrants / asylum seekers / refugees, and it’s something the BBC don’t want the public to be aware of.

    g) BetFred not providing pension plans to the greyhounds from who they profit
h)offshore online betting agencies not giving clear enough information on insolvency or bankruptcy advice…pro-Bono, but not-pro Winalot apparently
    i) Neither of the two above paying their taxes
    j) No greyhound specific charity set up to sell us energy, or “hound” old folk with mailshots.(joke alert here!)
    k) not enough nosey acronyms like UKAS, GBGB, DT to check on either white turds or quality of nail bar and grooming products being adequately represented.
    l) Euthanasia stats for old greyhounds, rate of uptake of Grecian 2000 to disguise their age

You take your pick…as IS head over the Channel, might be a good idea to put some dentures in an old discarded greyhound and walk with it…make sure no migrants are already inserted inside though eh?

    MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE QUOTE

Al Jazeera ADMITS Editing Tommy Robinson Interview To EXCLUDE Criticism of Muhammed
    http://www.breitbart.com/londo

The host, former BBC presenter Peter Dobbie initially attempted to trick Mr. Robinson, stating: “I just want to put one fulsome point to you if I may. We are in Doha… in the heart of Islam… let me just read something to you from ‘the holy book’ and I want you to react to that. You can’t see me but I’ve got a copy of the Quran in front of me.

“There are part of a holy book about people being persecuted and killed,” Dobbie said, before going on to quote the Old Testament from a piece of paper to the left of him. Dobbie then asked Mr. Robinson: “When you hear those quotes, what do you think that speaks to?”

But the ruse failed, leaving Dobbie audibly embarrassed. Mr. Robinson replied instantly: “I’d ask you why you’re reading the Old Testament to me. I’m not stupid. You’re sitting quoting verses from the Old Testament thinking I’m a moron that would think that’s from the Quran. I know the Old Testament and I know the Quran.”

Mr. Robinson’s panel debate was unavailable to view on the Al Jazeera website, and it was not shown again on television as previously scheduled.

But perhaps the most revealing part of the interview was the 50 seconds that were cut from the interview, during which Mr. Robinson reeled off a series of statements about the life of Muhammed, about the treatment of Israelis by the Qatari government, and about the policy of apostasy or freedom from Islam in Qatar.

Mr. Robinson asked the presenter if he was “free to criticise the prophet Muhammad”, to which the answer was “Yes” before the clip cut to 50 seconds later. But Mr. Robinson was recording the interview himself, from his desk, which reveals the cut made by Al Jazeera producers.

Hardly a threat from this milksop scumbag in Doha.
But he`d be wearing a wire and be more than happy to lead his “research team” to where Tommy was.
Maybe we should tell his paymaster Sheikh that their milksop reporter said he`d go to a pub next time he was back in London.
I myself will pay Jimmy Saviles BBC charity 10p for every stroke of the cane he surely deserves…maybe we could buy him an ice pack rubber ring .
Could help with all those swimming classes that his mates seem to need these days.
Oh-and trying to pass off the Quran as the Bible with that cover he uses to his “Holy Book”?
Think I`ll check to see if he`s still on the payroll-or maybe being used as a golf tee at the Doha Golf Club at the bunker instead.
        Chop Chop Milksop!

Absolutely priceless, Tommy skewered that prick well and truly. The useless bastard didn’t even know the proper meaning of the word “fulsome”, much less the message of the Koran. The true message of islam is that if you murder, rape and enslave infidels, you are not doing anything wrong, you are doing something holy. It is the most psychopathic perversion of a religion it is possible to imagine. But hey, I guess a washed up journo needs to earn a few dinars doesn’t he?

      Wow-a must see!
Thanks to Tommy for the foresight to record the “bits they didn`t want you to see” at Al Jazeera.
As for that old “Old Testament” ruse-that was used by Dutch hipsters a few weks back, and is clearly the intern/researchers idea to “trap the Christians, and let Islam free to do as it does”.
Tommy had ages to read the Quran of Muhammadism in his cell, and he used the time wisely.
      Rock on Tommy!

          Oh I don`t believe this!
Just seen the whole Inside Story show that had Tommy on.
The bloke to his right on the show is Alexander Spoor…the very bloke blogger who did that “Holy Quran Experiment”-where he went out on the street and read Bible bits out, whilst disguised in a Quranic cover!
In other words-Dobbie and Spoor were in cahoots…in other words Dobbie doesn`t even bother to do the same thing and pass it off as “original”…he`s just copied his guest, as shown on YouTube before Christmas!
Fuck me-these people are thick and lazy aren`t they?

BBC R4 Episode 1 of ‘Stage Left’. Set in the 80s, mentions of the miner’s strike, the tories, left wing drama group etc …. You’ll never guess which musician’s music is chosen for the end credits?

News headlines follows with a mention of 12 ‘men’ convicted of rape. No names of course, but the BBC website has
‘The 12 men (top row left to right) Yasser Kabir, Faisal Khan, Israr Ali, Sufyan Ziarab, (second row) Tauqeer Hussain, Khalid Raja Mahmood, Saqib Younis, Hussain Sardar, (bottom row) Bilal Ziarab, Nasir Khan, Mohammed Akram and Zain Ali were all jailed at Bradford Crown Court’

Well, at least the BBC didn’t use the ridiculous term of ‘Asian men’.

BBC News Radio 2 4pm today:

Mention is made of Cameron’s warning that to leave the EU would create ‘Calais like’ refugee camps on the south coast of England. Announcer explains that critics disbelieve this. A politician supporting EU membership is then given airtime to support Cameron’s view at length. ‘this is what we would let ourselves in for’ etc….

Are we ever surprised by the Biased BBC??

Please can someone just ask Cameron, or one of the beeboids, on air, why they think that a refugee camp, like the jungle, near Folkestone would be a problem? Make them explain. Then make them explain how they plan to secure the borders if the will of the people is Brexit.

Cameron and all the other politicians would be toast if that situation was allowed to develop, they and their media chums know that. That’s why the agreement with France was made in the first place.

Hope everyone heard the report from Gothenberg and towns in Sweden tonight on PM. Even the BBC couldn’t spin what is unfolding there.
Gangs of migrants tooled up with knives and guns according to a Somali kid they interviewed. Police dealing nightly with disturbances involving scores (up to a hundred) of Afghans, Somalis and Syrians fighting each other and stealing from passers by in shopping malls. Police spokesman said it had got much worse since last summer.

Absolutely spot on with your first point, embolden. It is essentially the prime objective of any government to protect the people of the country…. and if that entails protecting our borders, then so be it. Much has been made of this ‘shifting’ of our border to France, but it is a bi-lateral agreement, it is not set out in any agreements with the EU, and as was seen towards the end of last year, French authorities are not at all leery of using ‘the Jungle’ as a potential bargaining chip to get what they want. It is absolutely NOT a piece of legislation set in stone, and as such there must be a plan for the eventuality that France suddenly and unilaterally revokes the agreement. If not, the head of our Border Agency should be taken out and shot, and on each successive day until there is a clear plan on how to deal with this potential issue – one that does not involve capitulating to the hordes sitting in Calais – and one that can be made clear to the British public, the next most senior member of the Agency should suffer the same fate. It’s called creating a focus – something these overpaid civil servants need to have rammed down their throats.
