WEEKEND OPEN THREAD!

Well, the emotional blackmail from the BBC (along with others) has worked and we can now look forward to thousands of Syrians enriching our country. You have to hand it to the BBC, they use the power of their broadcasting monopoly to undermine our country at every opportunity! Anyway here’s a new open thread.

    Throat-cutting gestures.

Channel 4 News at 7.40pm last night showed a line up of about twenty young adult immigrant males standing outside a railway carriage in Hungary.
The male with a number ’98’ on his black shirt made a throat cutting gesture towards the police opposite.

I played it back at the time and took a few screen shots on my mobile. Primitive of me I know, but not as primitive as the gestures

Did anyone else see this? It’s still available on catch-up but I can’t log in.

Just had a thought, the BBC reports on public events, so how would they report on a demonstration outside the BBC complaining perceived bias in the BBC? Some things that could be highlighted : no acknowledgement by the BBC the bias issue, no transparency on editorial policy, even if the BBC didn’t cover it am sure Sky news would be interested. Everyone else seems to be demonstrating and getting coverage,

BBC Breakfast reports on the “furious” erm “freedom” march this morning … at length!… and again, and again
has some illegal immigrant ranting on, with a sob story Al BBC voiceover.
The Al BBC reports that all have said “they don t trust Hungary any more” …

    What is this garbage! …
If you were in “desperate plight” you would be glad for any … ANY respite at all,
You would not be making demands.
Expressing “fury”, deliberately ignoring the wishes of the law where you are.
Refusing to be processed, under a laughable rouse of your “not trusting” anyone.
and … as has started to be reported, giving cutthroat signs to police and authorities.

Demands … Aggression … Violent herd mentality … Ignoring a hosts laws … deliberately lying.
Does any of this sound familiar?
    It should.
Sound like any erm “community” we have already had, foisted upon us here?

I keep saying it folks … it won t be long
    … Welcome to Eurabia

Be a shame if any Shia/Sunni tensions erupt (both having lobbed less photogenic Christians overboard in a bit of ethnic cleansing they made earlier) in this hundred man march, and Europe’s political and media classes get confronted just what they are actively importing from the Middle East and Africa, Islam having worked its community cohesion magic there.

Not migrants but the continued crap Formula 1 BBc coverage. Yet again we have “Highlights” normally by the time the “highlights” are shown I’ve seen the results anyway. Despite the Italian grand prix not being live I assume the whole BBc team have travelled out there to cover it any way. So I probably won’t even bother to watch it. More value from the enforced BBc tax.

Who needs the bBC (or Sky) I’ll be watching live on RTL. A small dish addition was all that was needed!

On the subject of bBC coverage, including radio but excluding technical staff, I make it they have a team of 12 presenters/commentators over there just to present highlights. I’ll also bet that the live radio commentary is tucked away on DAB or even just on line because of todays footy.

I got a cheap Freesat box from Argos, but had to manually tune it to the RTL frequency, not all boxes allow

I attached a 2nd LNB to my Sky dish to the left of the existing LNB, RTL is strong signal so it works on a small dish, you will need to align it.

It cost me £40 all in but much cheaper than 4 years of Sky, plus other channels such as German Eurosport which is also free to air.

A sensible precaution being denied the populations of the countries they dominate using the new social media hissy fit political decision making process now being used instead of democratic reoresentation.

A plaudit for the BBC. While I now try and avoid the propaganda that is R4 news I caught a bit of BBC Scotland today and it was much better. I think Gordon Brewer was the journo.

Not perfect, but he did at least ask Menzies Campbell why the rest of the world, and many Arab states in particular, were not helping. Campbell’s lame reason for lack of help from Saudi and Iran was that it could import religious tensions. He didn’t specify which religion.

The guest newspaper reviewer was quoting (‘celebrating’?) how Scotland’s First Minister and Scotland’s Catholic archbishop were both shaming Cameron by calling for more immigration. The Beeber quite rightly pointed out how easy it was to make promises that someone else has to deliver.

One of the British al Jazeera journalists accused of terrorism by Egypt was asked if it was not naive to think it safe working for Qatari state tv (and she pointed out herself that al Jazeera Arabic is propaganda) when Qatar supported the Muslim brotherhood and was at loggerheads with Egypt.

From my memory R4 has simply stopped asking awkward questions. BBC Scotland still can.

Quisling Dave caves to the liberal media and opens the chequebook and borders to more thirdworlders, which will undoubtedly mean more Super-Mosques and blind-eye turning on child abuse by socialist local authorities and police.
Meanwhile, the cancer drugs fund is to cut the number of available life-extending drugs for UK patients as they’ve gone over budget. I wonder if those affected will do the decent thing, and end it all now, so they can give up their house to those ‘desperate asylum seekers’ fleeing the fighting and torture in…..er……. Turkey?

Yes indeed, the impact of Cave in Dave’s acceptance of BBC foreign policy will be felt in our towns, and villages. The migrants will be welcomed by our local authorities. Don’t overdo the Christmas celebrations this year, not too much of the carols, nativities, Christmas trees etc. as it could offend the ‘refugees;. The Beeg Eeshooo seller near our local shops stands beneath a sign warning that the police are taking a zero tolerance approach to racism. I stay on the other side of the road, as a refusal to buy a copy might lead to a charge of waaycism, even if only a waaycist stare.

‘Cuts threaten BBC’s voice in world says Hall.

”The BBC is vital to Britain’s international standing and cuts risk diminishing its role as an impartial voice in the World, Lord Hall will say next week. ” Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Impartial?
Lord Hall will on Monday begin his fightback against Tory plans for the biggest overhaul of the corporation for a generation by unveiling plans to expand the BBC’s World Service in Russia, North Korea, the Middle East and Africa.

interestingly, if you go online to find this article it is not under culture but politics.

He is expected to say that the role of the corporation as an impartial source of international news is more important than ever given the rise of state-sponsored broadcasters such as RT in Russia, CCTV in China and Al Jazeera in Qatar.

At least they are biased in favour of their own people, culture customs, history etc. instead of demeaning and trashing it.

Part of the joy of travelling is mixing with Parisiens, Italians, etc etc. No need to bother anymore, just save time and money and head for Tower Hamlets, Luton, Leicester and most large Yorkshire towns, because very shortly they wont be any different from anywhere in Europe. Apologies from “The Peoples Republic of Dorset”.
If any of you bothered to listen to “Any Questions” last night, do remember the following.
    1) Dorchester has not returned anything but a Tory for many moons now-ask Billy Bragg-so how the hell they got an audience like THAT to holler and ape the Tolpuddle martyrs is beyond me.
    2) Actually it`s not-the local Labour Party has its candidates dotted around the churches here-being liberal in a sea of “heartless Thatcherism”-and one of them was set to ask a question(being mysteriously selected to do so)-but they ran out of time.
3)Note the double barrel names and ex Lord mayors and grandees/partners of such) who get to ask the questions too…there was me thinking it might be independent…but to be fair the crap about Barbie dolls and toys was chosen to suck up to Amanda Foreman and her new -oddly enough BBC-series that`s now showing.
    4) I learned that it`s easy to get bitter and withdraw to the County Hall and union free courses round here if you`re unelectable-and Corbyn reflects that new wish now not to bother with the voter anymore-a massage through the institutions these days, with the coming Goon Squad of Russell Brand meets Skrewdriver type tactics…noted that last night in the audience, with doughnutting, shouting and drowning out the opposition-all under the baleful eye of Dimbleby, fresh from the Carribean or such.
And yes-the likes of Dimbleby ARE conspicuous in a small town seeing as they STILL wear cream linen suits!
The programme was a fix-they misnamed the Labour bloke as Lee Rigby before the show…Dimbleby thought that Syrian picture was of a girl, he got the name wrong of Amanda Foremans show…bit of a sinecure for the old rich lefty fool, phones it in, no doubt.
We got a ten minute song of Praise to the BBC and an urge to write or email telling the “consultation” just how great the BBC and its Trust is-before the panel came on…we were also subliminally given the background music to BBC Shows that we might approve of(being Dorchesters demographic-just a minute Humphry Lyttletons ols show etc).
Got to admire their tired tactics though.
Very much felt that “Tomorrow belongs to them”-these Brownshirts who tie dye red politics with green faux-compassion-but you try clapping the Tory or the Free School ideas with loads of sneering Lefties shouting out…you`ll do well to hear me though!
Wonder if the Beeb will edit out the shout from an audience member when Foreman was speaking about “what`s wrong with parents setting up their own schools?”
“BECAUSE PARENTS HAVEN`T GOT THE FIRST CLUE ABOUT WHAT THEY`RE TALKING ABOUT”…was the shout from out NUT/NAS/Labour Common Progressives…did the BBC use the cough button to eidt that?…I shall listen and find out.
Hope Durham Free School takes Alan Johnson on for his smears re “creationism”-my recollection was that their crime was to contend OFSTEDS wish to teach primary kids about transgender and islamic ishoos, or suchlike.
Your license fee money-Ken seemed well-oiled, but he DID mention Ted Heath!
Who saw the rise of the Brownshirts then the Gestapo as a student in Nuremburg or such.
Last night, I felt I too saw the rise of something sinister…a biased panel, howling down of the likes of Gibb and Foreman(re Free Schools in her case, and her questionning women-only carriages) .
I`ll listen to it later-and won`t be surpried is the recordings beef up the Labour applause and remeove the Tory few that stuck up for Gibb-who to be fair was better than most of `em.
“Hey hey, we`re the brownshirts….never worked a day in our lives…the BBC and Guardian and twitter…imagine all the cover for lies”
Final point-if Letwin got in by a landslide-how come it`s only the committed, the well-placed grievance hustlers and County Hall Lysenkos who get to speak and to attend?…the rest have probably actually DONE a days work, not clicking for Corbyn.

Eye-witness reporting there – I had no idea, but should’ve guessed. It all seems to have been turned up a notch, going past a threshold of blatancy. If they can rig a 400,000 poll (or if they don’t need to actually rig it, because they control the message so completely), they can surely rig everything else too.

It must have been frightening – thanks for such a long and compelling report.

So, the mobs are moving in for real now. I am worried – it’s going to be a damn close-run thing.

It honestly wasn`t-I saw a few others in the crowd who made it clear what their views were, and the first question set a tone from a gentle old soul who`d not fallen for the BBC crap.
You meet them all over the place, the rentaleft lot have clapped out knees, go on endless CPD courses because they`re no f**** good at their( admittedly easy paper shuffling) jobs.
Seconded into council berths to nurse years of bitter grievances, and planning their next austerity march( Oct 4th , with a free trip to Manchester since you ask).
These “Children Of the Revolution” don`t smell of old dope like Russell Brand-just vinegar, seeing as they`re relying on vampire new blood from Corbyns CashClickers to manoeuvre their zimmer frames and disability scooters.
All top hats with mirrors like Marc or Slade…
And to be fair, the BBC recordists did NOT beef up the lefty applause, didn`t dampen the approval for Nick Gibbs game defences…I thought , if anything that they muted the wildass hollers for Ken.
Anybody yet to tell that oaf that we let the Kenyans in because it used to be a colony of the Empire-and they were everything that the Somalis and Roma Muslims are not…hard working, talented and now very rich.

    Oh-my rejected question?
DOES THE COMING CORONATION OF JEREMY CORBYN MEAN THE END OF ANY POINT OR PURPOSE FOR THE EXISTENCE OF THE GREEN PARTY-“or simply mean that the Left has given up on any prospect of every getting elected again?”

One other thing-if anyone can recall “The Reunion” format on Radio 4-surely the need to include a politician to defend their record at that time is a given.
Yesterdays “Foot and Mouth 2001” scandal did NOT include a Nick Brown, a Sir David King or even Margaret Beckett-just a few old buffers and an organic farmer from faraway Devon.
Wonder why Balls People get off without scrutiny-and why the famous “Puff In Boots” picture of Nick Brown in the Sun got no mention-surely as iconic a moment of the times, as the Syrian boy in Bordrun is going to be.
24/7 residual core bias…for Blair to chuck our money at it, killing loads of animals unnecessarily, adding to global warming and driving farmers to suicides?…and all so he could get his election timed to the media coverage of the “solved problem”..that was a new low even for him and Campbell…but Sue Magregor waould rather we not ask such questions.
Utter crap-bet the Tories get a pasting next week from Alan Bennetts free placement for his new show…THAT is the BBCs priorities, whereas Foot and Mouth was-you`ll find -covered by the Archers, and would have been the fault of John Gummer and Edwina Currie.

BBC any answers must have been inundated with people not wanting the asylum seekers to come to Britain, one or two who did though were saved until the end of the program leaving the listener with that impression.
One caller left Anita Anand gasping when he suggested that lies had been told about the story of the body on the beach, and that it might have been posed. She just couldn’t accept that it wasn’t a man running from the conflict in Syria even though the BBC have publicised the lies.

Well said chrisH, I was driving and listened to Noah on AA. It was good that he managed to get on, but he could have done so much more with a little less of the blunderbuss style of argument.
Anand tried to twist what he’d said about the picture of the drowned boy, implying that his contention was that it was faked by the media – rather than how the MSM were using it: which is what he meant. He lost valuable seconds of airtime trying to scramble over that particular log, it was great to hear though all the same.

“German Chancellor Angela Merkel made a promise to all Syrian refugees: if you manage to physically reach Germany, you can apply for asylum in Germany.

In effect, this amounted to a breach of the E.U.’s migration rules, so Berlin later tried to walk Merkel’s statement back. But many of the three million Syrians who have fled their homeland in the last four years took Germany’s mixed signals as an invitation too tempting to refuse.”

All the propaganda is apparently working on some. Have just had a friend for coffee who (in contrast to me) kept saying ‘how terrible this all was, and how these people should be helped etc etc etc’. When I pointed out that the middle classes of Syria were abandoning their homeland and depriving any rebuild because all the doctors, engineers etc were on the move, and why wasn’t the young men fighting to regain their home, and the mass influx of virulent young men would ensure a baby boom of Muslims; she said “oh I hadn’t thought about that !!” When I said that they were refusing drink and food, – of course this was something she hadn’t seen, and this gave her a different take on it. She is typical of what is now happening, immediate knee jerk reaction so bring ’em all in. Once the news story has died down, reality sinks in, and the tv screens are full of migrants pitching up at airports and railway stations (met by Keith Vaz), then how many will have different thoughts then ????

Brissels, I have had the same experience with many friends who are usually sane and able to weigh up consequences. But many have bought the message that they are all refugees. However, that image of crowds of boisterous fit young men creates a nagging doubt. Once the media (and it is not merely the BBC) plug that gap there will be more refugee mania. Go on the internet and see groups throughout the country organizing van loads of food, clothes etc. Shop managers donating large amounts of stock, and offers of accommodation. We are seeing across Europe something akin to a victorious army being welcomed. I am trying put the link here of the BBC welcoming them into Munich, with some dreadful Beeber woman shouting ‘How does it feel, Welcome to Germany’. It will end in tears. This is an invasion.

Have just read the Facebook link above (don’t do Facebook or Twatter), and words fail me. There are huge Muslim ghettos in France, and Germany will live to regret what they are doing. Interesting to read many of the comments that followed the video, and clearly made by people with one brain cell (typical Sun reader ), one even stated that he was ashamed to live in this ‘nasty little island’ after seeing the efforts of Germany. Lets hope the McDonald eater doesn’t have to wait too long for hospital appointments, gets the care his elderly parents need, and doesn’t mind that his children are in classes where the Muslim faith is honoured before Christianity. I recommend that all those who want migrants to come here should visit a suburb of Margate — Cliftonville. Back in the day, 60’s 70’s it was a genteel area with clean B & B’s, family run hotels and a clean proud area which was popular with day trippers from London and locals alike. Go today and the place is dirty with littered streets, and the only language heard is Rumanian, Bulgarian and Polish. The houses are long into disrepair and no-one ventures into the area after dark. Give it time, and this could be the scenario throughout the country. The migrants will stick together, buy up the properties (see how many attend auctions in Homes Under the Hammer), and with the businesses, medical profession and the law, they’ve got the entire country tied up. Its a nightmare.

BBC CIVIL WAR OVER PANORAMA PROBE CASTING DOUBT ON WITNESS
    [to ‘Establishment paedophile murders’]
By KATHERINE RUSHTON, Daily Mail Media and Technology Correspondent
BBC executives are at loggerheads over an explosive documentary which threatens to cast doubt over ‘Nick’ and his claims.
Dubbed an ‘attack on victims’ by some in the BBC, the Panorama investigation was ‘anticipated’ to air in April, but sources claim senior figures have delayed its broadcast amid fears it could ignite another scandal at the Corporation.
The ‘open and legitimate’ programme was commissioned around the end of last year and set out to establish what is actually known about the supposed sex ring.
However the project has sparked a civil war with BBC News, which has given enormous weight to Nick, the witness at the centre of the abuse claims against a group of prominent paedophiles. BBC News executives are now concerned the investigation will discredit their earlier reports, and reopen old wounds about the way the Corporation reports stories about sexual abuse.
BBC’s Newsnight infamously dropped an investigation into sexual abuse claims against former BBC host Jimmy Savile, amid concerns his accusers were unreliable, sparking one of the biggest scandals in its history.
The show is now expected to air in October, but insiders predict it could be pushed back even further. A BBC spokesman said: ‘At any one time the BBC is working on a number of investigations and we don’t comment on these.’

I don’t know if anyone else heard the news report on Beebus radio today, discussing the additional funding the local authorities are going to require to enable them to cater for the needs of these immigrants. The figure of £30,000 per year was just thrown out – for an immigrant child to go to primary school! WTF! For just another few grand they could send them as boarders at Eton or Winchester!
Where on earth do they arrive at such a figure from? Of course the Beeb journo never asked (as they never would) for a breakdown of such a figure: to educated one child; at a state primary school; for one year – £30,000.

Think it may be straight division of number of Primary pupils into the share that the DfE gets from Treasury.

Story goes that DfE take a 50% cut & pass the money to the Local Education Authority. The LEA takes a 50% cut and then shares the rest around the Primary Schools that it is responsible for. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of that; think it reached me courtesy of BBC R4 pre-2010.

From that, you can see why the Tories might think Free Schools are a good idea!

Newbie here. I felt I had to sign up after growing disgust at the BBC’s coverage of the migrant situation over recent days. Eg, on ‘Any Answers’ today, a caller suggested that the media was using selective imagery of the crisis to manipulate public opinion. The woman presenter (don’t know her name), rather than cross examining, asking further questions etc in a calm way, as one might expect, instead almost lost her rag. She spluttered something incredulously, like ‘You mean…wait a minute, what, WHAT?’ etc.

She then berated him in a sarcastic voice, saying something like ‘so all those pictures of children and women, they’re all faked, are they?’ The general feeling was ‘how dare you think instead of feel.’ It wasn’t so much the fact that she disagreed with the caller, but the way she reacted. As if the hive-mind had been threatened, or some impossible concept had been proposed, such as a straight curve or a square circle. I’ve been finding it all very sinister.

The two situations are totally different. If, in 1939, instead of trainloads of helpless orphaned children, trainloads of fit young German men and women had arrived in London, and the men had thrown food and water back at British police constables, demanding to be allowed to go to America, would the public have been quite so understanding?

Not BBC related this one, but to do with an equally repulsive propaganda organisation – the Daily Mirror.

Has anyone seen today’s issue, specifically the Brian Reade column? I urge you to report this vile individual to the police for inciting violence contrary to the serious crime act 2008 section 45.

In his column today he made a clear incitement to violence against a specific individual, namely Peter Bucklitsch (apparently a UKIP parliamentary candidate). His exact words were: “the next time he pushes in for a G&T at the bar, drag him to the gents, stick his head down the toilet, hold him there”. Now if that’s not inciting violence then I don’t know what is. There may also be a case for making a complaint against Mirror Group Newspapers as the publishers of the offending comments. If this was you or I making these comments about a labour politician, or indeed any member of the public then the police would be all over us like a rash. If you actually manage to get as far as making a statement, point out the context in which this was written, given this bloke’s history of poisonous vitriol against UKIP and its members. Also point out the size of the Mirror readership and the chances of some left-wing rent-a-mob type acting upon the incitement. If it can be proven that Reade could reasonably foresee that someone might commit a violent act in reaction to his call then an offence has been committed. Even if he can’t be prosecuted & convicted, let’s at least try to make life uncomfortable for him. So please, I urge you to report this to your local police or directly to the Metropolitan Police Force. Better still, if anyone can contact Peter Bucklitsch directly let’s try to get him to make a complaint himself.

Even Farage repeats the mealy-mouthed “we must act against the wicked people smugglers” when the real problem is something else. There always has to be a ritual declaration of deep compassion for and fellow feeling with the “unfortunate” to keep that halo shining out to the public
Politicians would rather let migrants swarm all over Europe, than risk being denounced as “hard-hearted or unfeeling” by the media and activists.

Forget 71 bodies in a lorry. What about 1400 (!!) child rapes in Rotherham? I still can’t get my head around that number! 1400! Would the BBC have done more than mention it in passing if there were handy full, colour photos of each penetration? Would that have pricked their disgusting, hypocritical consciences?
