BOWEN TO THE RESCUE…

Heeeeeeere’s Jeremy…

History shows that appeasing Hamas does not make Israel safer either but Mr Neutrality misses that. Bowen’s twitter line is astonishingly biased.

History shows no military solution because Israel is never allowed to win.

That’s the truth of it: there is one very easy military solution. Bowen’s words aren’t that biased just supremely crass and thoughtless.

Bowen’s words are the typical pontificating sanctimony of a BBC journalist lost up his derriere.

Another observation one could make is Israel takes the most extreme steps historically to minimise civilian deaths and history shows that anti-semites like Jeremy Bown and Jon Snow will pull out all the stops to convince the world of a lie.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, while Bowen and his ilk pave the way towards the next Holocaust, we’ll prepare for the next Nuremburg.

The destruction by the IDF of terrorist weapons and tunnels by its very nature makes Israel safer. To claim otherwise is stupid.

Does Jeremy know that Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq are in the Middle East too as he doesn’t report about them often?

      • Peter B says:

He does know that. The problem is, the threats faced by Syria, Lebanon and Iraq do not come from Israel, or anyone even remotely Jewish. The threats come from other Muslims. And as we know, it wouldn’t do for the BBC to spend too much bringing us reports of Muslims butchering Muslims. Goes against the whole ‘religion of peace’ lie.

An interesting read. If correct it is a major indictment of Western journalists and their abilities. Disturbing.

The BBC feedback questionaire, for the website, popped up this morning.
For the technological aspects of the site, I generally gave them fair to good.
For contents – very bad to fair.

There was an open question, asking what changes I would like to see. Here is my answer (limited to 500 characters):

‘Stop quoting reports from interested parties. Concentrate on verifiable facts as witnessed by your own reporters. In the case of disputes, send reporters equally to both sides. Indicate clearly if the report was obtained freely or under supervision.
Example: In today’s top article, on the Israel-Gaza conflict, there is a detailed map of populated areas under attack in Gaza but not those in Israel, which are open to anyone who cares to know. Why this omission?’

I have to say on this that Bowen is right!

There is no military solution which will work because it doesn’t matter what the Israelis do Hamas will continue to fight even if it means picking up stones & throwing them.

There is no solution at all to a group that wants the other side dead, military, political or otherwise.

If military solutions had worked we wouldn’t be here again. The thing is thought that you just know that Bowen would not have gone on to say any of this !

    • Mailman says:

Hamas is the only group who wants all of the other side dead (no more jewsin Palestine). The ONLY solution is the military option simply because Hamas refuses to drag itself out of the Stone Age.

Sadly though the only way to root Hamas out from under the skirts of its women is to go full hard core to exterminate them…like how Sri Lanka finally ended the Tamil Tiger terrorists.

In the long run the most humane option is to show your inhumane side in the short term!

I’m sorry but I can’t approve of a genocide, which is what your suggestion would amount to.
Hamas is so deeply embedded into Gaza that to follow your suggestion Israel would have to exterminate every man woman & child, and probably their pets to be certain of success.

It’s a non starter and a rather naïve suggestion. Hamas are not the Tamil Tigers and Gaza is nothing like Sri Lanka.

I doubt it. Israel is not to be equated with a Western European nation .Europe has made a habit of barbarity and genocide when it suits. Do you want the historical examples?
Hamas is not the people of Gaza. It is a percentage and can be made ineffective .
That is what the IDF is doing.
The Western liberal journalists come two ways against Israel.
          1. The IDF cannot ever make headway or win. A negative why is this even going on approach.
          2. Israel is a barbarous and dangerous nation intent on who knows what. It is also illegitimate.
These attitiudes fuel the hatred and anti Semitism latent in Europe and fuel the insane passions that delude our liberal and other young and not so young who need some cause to feel alive.

Every child would have to be sent into a SECULAR re-education camp where they would be taught to show respect for ALL humans, as opposed to Hamas’ “Jews are pigs to be killed” teachings.

I do hate how the word ‘genocide’ is thrown around so much that it has become equated with killing a few people regardless of reason.

          • Span Ows says:

agreed; it has gone the way of Fascist, racist etc, so overused and rarely correct. Palestinian does not = Hamas and Hamas does not = Palestinian so there would be no genocide at all if Hamas were ‘wiped out’.

    • hippiepooter says:

If Israel saw there military solutions through it would greatly reduce the threat they face. The objective of Bowen et al is to mount a propaganda war against Israel to prevent them from fulfilling their military objectives.

As it is, the reduction of threat is limited while Israel tailors it’s response to the success that Bowen et al may have in whipping up a lynch mob against Israel by presenting legitimate self-defence as ‘genocide’.

It’s very easy to say that Israel should hone its skills on the propaganda front – I think they should do better – but it speaks volumes of western moral collapse that threatens the very future of democracy itself that we permit and swallow the patent propaganda game that the likes of Bowen and Snow play for evil.

There now seems a weird idealism about what falls under ‘military’ solutions, not forgetting that politics is just an expression of war by other means.
Here’s something rather special floated by the Graun:
    http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/31/gaza-civilian-death-toll-military-training-experts
‘Experts ask whether poor soldiering skills and tactics are to blame, or if avoiding civilian casualties is just not a priority’
The area of focus of these ‘experts’ being oddly narrow when it comes to tactics and skills with things that go boom.

Meanwhile, I watched a doco about the Lancaster, by John Sargeant.
    http://www.dailypost.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/john-sergeant-presents-lancaster-britains-7459669
Sadly, not Clarkson calibre at all. A lot of gush and emoting… little fact.
But there was one interesting snippet odd to see on the BBC at this time: seems that if they hadn’t flattened Peenemunde to delay the development and use of indiscriminate V-weapons, Britain would have fallen and the war turned out very differently.
Maybe Von Braun should have popped a few creches, schools and hospitals around or over the launch towers?

I saw the John Sergeant program on the Lancaster & it was very good .Not quite true where he said there is only one left flying , as the Canadian one is over here this summer & will hopefully have both aircraft at some airshows .
But there was the obligatory BBC propaganda item where they had to have a go at Winston Churchill , blaming him for something .
But other than that , worth a watch .

Personally I think Israel is sending a message to Hamas, to take note that they will no longer listen to the liberal chattering classes, that look this is what we can do and if you kick off again, we will wipe you from the face of the earth.
Its what we did with Germany and Japan.

During the Falklands War some smart ass Argentine soldiers put up a white flag and suckered the British soldiers to come out into the open. History records that a number of British soldiers were wounded and some killed. Needless to say the British sense of “fair play” was so insulted that what took place afterwards wasn’t the stuff of a Sunday school picnic ! Where today is that marvelous sense of “fair play” that makes people admire the Brits ?
Israel either has the right to defend itself or it doesn’t ! Perhaps the prats at the BBC, who maintain that Israel has low standards, ought to look at their own reporters
la-T-dah assumptions as well as practices of modern warfare ?

“… a white flag appeared at the schoolhouse, and our platoon commander and two others went forward to take the surrender. As they approached, the enemy shot them dead.

We all stared in disbelief. Then, I have to admit, we went nuts. We jumped up as one and opened up with machine guns, a rocket and grenades. By the time we’d finished, the building had been obliterated and dozens of them were dead. ”

Although one might think Bowen’d go off the evidence of his own eyes: there’s a WAR, not simply a dispute, going on between Hamas- Islamic Jihad-Fatah, v. Israel.
The jihadists are out to destroy Israel.

It is not like a tennis match with each side trying to match the other: it is a war of physical destruction.’Proportionality’ does not describe the issue for Israel. Israel is trying to stop the rocket attacks. Israel is trying to win the war against it.

Casualties are greater for the Hamas side than for the Israel side. But as has been pointed out, that is not a clinching moral argument: in World War II, more Germans were killed than British and Americans.

CNN Video (July 2014): This reveals a lot more than any news clip on the BBC… The son of a Hamas founder member explains why he decided to convert to Christianity (after watching the brutality of Hamas towards his fellow muslims and Palestinians). An eye opener… Not BBC politics.
