Yes, this man is biased because no matter what his feelings are, he has to remain neutral if he is to fulfil the criteria of impartiality.
I loathe the BBC and the middle-class leftist movement it represents. It gets away with murder and as Jeremy Paxman said regarding news(s)hite, it’s been taken over by children. I have seen a large cross-section of BBC output this week and have come to the conclusion that the Left-wing bias is growing at a colossal rate and is becoming simply out of control. We should no longer be forced to fund this crap. It’s actually a infringement of our human rights being coerced into subsidising a propaganda machine that disseminates disinformation that is detrimental to our national identity.

if you want to get into the mindset and stockholm syndrome type sympathy jeremy bowen has for the palestinians just go to you tube and see jeremy bowens coverage of the war in bosnia betreen the bosnian serbs and the muslims a decade ago,his coverage of that war is similar to the coverage of the conflict raging betreen israel and the hamas terrorists,he spent all his time reporting in the bosnian war behind the muslim front line, the serbian goverment accussed him and the bbc of bias and propaganda against the bosnia serbs in that war,the same thing is happening again in israel. a leopord never channges its spots, jeremy bowen is proving that again with his total pro palestinian bias.

Bowen has gone native as the saying goes. He’s lost all impartiality for the situation and has become a campaigner for Hamas, PLO, Fatah & the Palestinian Authority.

I got a book he wrote on the 6 day war without realizing it was written by him and I had to stop reading after the first 3 chapters as everything was Israels fault.

The way he puts it Israel forced Nasser to close the straits Straits of Tiran and then when the international community bottled sending the international flotilla that was proposed through that was the right thing to happen.

He needs to be recalled by the BBC and if not Israel need to PNG (Persona None Grata) him and the rest of the BBC in country to get the message across to the BBC that their misrepresentations and propagandizing for the Palestinians needs to stop and they have to be impartial like their charter demands.

But we all know it will not happen as their anti-Israel position is well known, it’s the main reason they fought so hard to keep the Balen Report secret.

Poor reporters. They have to be very careful when reporting from any Muslims country. In Gaza, Afghanistan or other RoP places, one can get shot or worse. So the reporter has to be very careful.

OTH a reporter in Israel can show how fearless he is the in the face of power by criticising Israel. He pays no penalty, and comes away with the reputation of being a fearless reporter. He can also get entry to RoP places, which he may not, if he is fair to Israel.

Hopefully he will report from a Gazan ‘hospital’ and get a drone missile right in the middle of that smug lefty face.

Bowen is in GAZA. He tweets what he sees in GAZA including the firing of rockets at Israel. (Omitted from the cherry picked tweets shown here)
He hopes for a ceasefire soon.

    What a loathsome man, obviously.

He does NOT keep in the fore that Hamas wants to destroy Israel, that one of its main tactics is using human shields, that Gazan society is totally corrupt and oppressive.

and even when Bowen shows rockets launched from Gaza he does not point out that they are being launched from civilian areas – at civilian areas.

It’s not only about what he reports from Gaza (many lies), it’s about what he doesn’t. He doesn’t report about the Hamas threatning the civilians lives to stop them from evacuating because it knows Israel will try to avoid attacking civilians crowded houses. He doesn’t report the 20 rockets found in a UN school. He doesn’t report the Hamas (failed) attacks by sneaking to Israel to kill civilians in Kibbutz Suffa, nor the drones they launched. He doesn’t report that Hamas stops evacuation of ill people to hospitals in Israel, nor the fact that Haniya’s grand daughter was treated in Israeli hospital.

Perhaps he should let his local Gaza pals know that he was quite supportive of Fatah and he would maybe get an aerial tour of Gaza without a parachute. The irony is he would be executed without a thought by his ‘brothers’ without a thought for all the propaganda he has peddled for them over the years.

We watch the BBCWorldNews here in the US, because it does gives us different stories re: the world. However I’m appalled by the complete antisemitism shown by all their people. This is not the BBC I grew up with. The likes of Lyse Doucet who comes across as holier-than-thou, drives me crazy. Everything is couched from the perspective of the poor Palestinians & the “very bad” Israelis.

Good to have a cousin from the USA on here. Welcome! And, yes… that irritating women is both sanctimonious and pro-Islam. She tends to exhibit an air of self-importance , like she has a god-given right to sally forth across the globe to save the downtrodden. To you and I, though, she’s just some annoying, overgrown liberal arts student on some ego-trip.
