“”We think there’s an acute need in Thailand for accurate, impartial news, reported without fear or favour, and that’s what we’re supplying.””
The BBC is of course renowned for accuracy and impartiality. Seems like only yesterday they were facilitating rioters trying to bring down an elected government.
And their FaceBook pages are of course glowing examples of fear-free commentary, as any offering counter views to organised activist posters will surely testify.

I don’t think the BBC has reported these words, used several times this past week by Netanyahu ::

“The difference between us is simple. We develop defensive systems against missiles in order to protect our civilians and they use their civilians to protect their missiles”

And the BBC has not reported what the Stephen Harper PM of Canada has said :

The indiscriminate rocket attacks from Gaza on Israel are terrorist acts, for which there is no justification. It is evident that Hamas is deliberately using human shields to further terror in the region.

Failure by the international community to condemn these reprehensible actions would encourage these terrorists to continue their appalling actions. Canada calls on its allies and partners to recognize that these terrorist acts are unacceptable and that solidarity with Israel is the best way of stopping the conflict.

Canada is unequivocally behind Israel. We support its right to defend itself, by itself, against these terror attacks, and urge Hamas to immediately cease their indiscriminate attacks on innocent Israeli civilians.

Canada reiterates its call for the Palestinian government to disarm Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups operating in Gaza, including the Iranian proxy, Palestinian Islamic Jihad. ”

As the Powerline website puts it – No call for restraint; no talk about mediation; no lectures about what Israel should or shouldn’t do. Just unequivocal support for our ally and unequivocal condemnation of our enemy. ”

It’s a pity Cameron doesn’t take the same line. And Hague is already issuing weaselly equivocating statements.

The story of how the media conducted a propaganda war on behalf of an Islamist terrorist organization,(Hamas) not just today when it publishes false stories about starvation in Gaza, but when the only people supposedly starving were adult male Hamas terrorists. A must read at….

‘The Metropolitan police are to announce a ban on new recruits who do not live in London, to reverse the trend of officers commuting in from the home counties to police the capital’s diverse communities.

Police chiefs hope the plan will help double the proportion of minority ethnic officers in Britain’s biggest force, which has faced criticism for being too white compared with the city it serves. Four in 10 Londoners are from an ethnic minority, compared with 11% of Met officers.’

The BBC are very quiet about this racist recruitment policy. Are they trying not to draw too much attention to it, to mimimise public opposition?

How do the Met do on the proportion of criminals in the force relative to the community that they serve?

Once we start the proportionality game where do we stop?

…and what could be more “diverse” than accepting recruits from other areas of the Former UK?

moaners hour (formerly known as womens hour) is running a piece on the wearing on the veil. There is no opposing voice allowed, no suggestion that this is not part of Islam, in fact there was even the inevitable ‘Islamofauxbia’ accusation freely made.
No explanation of the Wahabist sect of Islam which ordains that women who do wear the veil are not allowed out without a male chaperone, or to drive. Nor was there any suggestion that driving with only a slit to see through could be dangerous.

I don’t believe the BBC has reported this yet.
Damage from Gaza rocket cuts power to 70,000 in strip

The Israeli power company has announced it will fix the damage but will not endanger its employees by sending them out before the shooting has stopped.

Maybe Jezza could pop into Gazan Maplins, pick up a soldering kit and make his way out to no sane person’s land with a techie? Mind you, given past history, the latter may prefer to venture did not originate from the firing positions of those shooting at Israel.

The BBC and other Leftist propaganda organisations are certainly enjoying the defenestration of Michael Gove, aren’t they?

I Haven’t seen such shameless enjoyment since St Margaret died.
