Need I say more? A thinly-veiled, condescending attack on men from a female snooker player who’s bitter that her dominance in the women’s game can barely translate to winning a single frame against the men despite there being no technical restrictions. Claiming men have a single-tracked mind that means they can obsess over stupid and pointless things – using snooker, her profession, as an example meaning she’s actually calling her chosen sport a waste of time, thereby making her attempts to get more women playing even more pathetic and meaningless – and then having the gall to say the reason she can’t concentrate is because she has a child, toeing the Mumsnet line of saying fathers essentially don’t care about their kids as mothers do, with no real evidence to support this (in fact, you’ll discover with minimal research that she went to great lengths to prevent her daughter from seeing her father Mark Allen, who went to great lengths to get visitation rights, which again completely disproves her vapid insinuation that male players don’t care about their kids. Ronnie O’Sullivan is another prime example).
So why was this blatantly sexist rubbish given any credence? We all know why – because the BBC is desperate to push its agenda of all women being better than all men but being held back by their prejudice towards them. Meritocracy doesn’t exist in the BBC hierarchy. And yet, it’s Jeremy Clarkson who gets abuse because he mumbled something that someone chose to interpret as a racial slur, while actual racists like Lenny Henry and sexists using the term ‘feminist’ to justify their bigotry are put on a pedestal. Enough’s enough.
Now, now less of those blue jokes please or someone somewhere will go red with rage!
😉
NB I’d love to see more female snooker players on TV. Of course they would have to be modestly dressed. No short skirts and low tops otherwise where would one look as they bent over the table?
I am finding it extremely difficult to separate BBC bias and attempts to demonise UKIP and tivialise its campaign from the tactics employed by the rest of the MSM. They are all singing the same tune.
The Independent supports buying a pint for the man who makes an obscene gesture.
You have to love the British public showing its contempt for those in power. I love the idea that he has raised £300 in a bar fund.
Farage is still just a politician and has been since 1999. While he likes to distance himself from the rest he is an establishment figure. This site is full of comments about politicians. “Gary” was showing he shares your views.
Farage is the liberal’s worst nightmare. Not for himself but because all us written of by liberals trash really like him and UKIP’s policies chime with us. This was in Bath for God’s sake. A silly little libby city . Islington in Portland stone. Not the sort of place Farage needs or should visit.
Knowing the area well since I was a kid, it has always been somewhat ‘Bohemian’ .
The pub in question, could be termed a ‘crusty’s’ pub and it has been rumored a meeting place for hunt saboteurs – enough said. Whoever in UKIP thought it would be a good idea to go to that end of the city was somewhat misinformed when there are plenty of other decent pubs in the city center. More homework and better security required.
But yes the MSM/establishment are in cahoots, also note the Mirror chicken following Farage around and assuming its on tonight, what does HIGNY have in store?
Your man turns out to be a London/Glasgow based actor, Gay Cross, who just happened to be in exactly the right place in Bath when the BBC were interviewing Farage. From his acting credits

No, we’re saying there’s a good chance he’s a BBC plant. What are the chances of a London-based BBC employee just happening to walk into a pub in Bath while NF is being interviewed by the beeb? Still he know’s which side his bread is buttered. There’d be no more cushy licence-fee-payer-funded BBC gigs for that talentless hack if UKIP gain power.
What are the chances of a London-based BBC employee just happening to walk into a pub in Bath while NF is being interviewed by the beeb?
He’s an actor, i.e., a freelance performer who has in the past worked on acting projects, some of which have been for the BBC. That doesn’t make him a “BBC employee”.
And many actors who make themselves available for London-based productions – and market themselves as such via their Spotlight page – don’t actually live in the capital.
But hey, you knock yourself out with lame conspiracy theories if you want. Biased BBC is always good for a laugh in that regard.
Are you really that fucking thick Scott that you think that way?
I am a freelance artist, have work will travel, but funnily enough, I have NEVER, not once managed to get myself onto BBC tv, just in passing.
Even whilst I worked opposite the BBC in Manchester (oxford road), Liverpool (Water street and the Albert dock)….funny that eh?…I was there every day, but somehow, our “gay” just mosey on by into a political pub and gives the finger to the camera to Nigel Farage….tsk….well….it must be coincidence, right?,…..because you lefties say so?….not as if the bbc and the mirror have never staged anything before?….right?…ffs, you are really flogging a dead horse here sunshine…get a grip, look at your hideous self in the mirror, and take your vile persona elsewhere….the normal folk of England have had enough of dicks like you.
So your justification for this being a successful conspiracy theory is:
a) it could be one, so therefore it is; and
b) this man is a more successful actor than you are an artist.
Cut and dried case, then…
PS: The “normal folks of England” don’t need you to assume the role of spokesperson. If they were to choose one, they’d probably choose one a little more level-headed, don’t you think?
I’m shocked– SHOCKED, I tell you!– that some “photobomber” might not be just some innocent Joe Average who just happened to walk by! How shall I ever cope with this distressing bit of “news”? (*clutches pearls*swoons*)
Less a question of whether the film crew put him up to this as that he knew enough where to be to be filmed; is Nigel’s itinerary generally released by him well ahead of time, allowing someone who has mischief on his mind enough time to work out how he can commit it? (An honest question, as I don’t know.) If it is, he has only himself to blame. (Unless you’re willing to go full-“tinfoil” and allege that Nigel invites this sort of thing on an “every-knock-is-a-boost” basis– or even that HE may have hired Clownie here.)
There’s something here that doesn’t pass a “sniff-test,” for sure.
I’ve never voted Labour but I and everyone I knew thought that Prescott was right to belt that nutter who assaulted him. Whether it’s Berlusconi or Farage or Bill Gates or Rupert Murdoch being attacked, or the Boat Race being sabotaged, I have no patience with inarticulate self seeking inadequates who think their antics are somehow political just because their target has critics.
This particular nutter would be ideal for the stocks to be pelted there with rotten fruit.

Farage and his mostly ex-conservative minions, are showing their true right wing, racist, Eton educated views to the nation and all need to be euthanised for the sake of Britain.
What Gary did behind his back is what we should all be doing to Farage in front of him everytime we encounter his awful type of twisted, nasty, childish politics!
Well done Gary! Buy that man a pint, you know you want to?
Aren’t the left wing the most charming, beautiful people?
1) Smug Leftist number 1 reading out the UKIP pamphlet – good stuff
2) Smug Leftist Number 2 in blue jumper with beard, whose pro-immigration argument was essentially “what about the Huguenots?” (always my favourite)
3) While Simon Jenkins was saying “we have to look at immigrants coming in and what type they are etc.”, the director cut to an extreme close-up of a bearded muslim. Magnificent. These are clearly leftists at the top of their game.
There was defnitely a sense, though, that they’ve dialled back the attack a bit, after seeing what a bonanza it’s been for UKIP. Anyone agree?
Hardly a peep from the BBC today regarding UKIP on their news site. Is that it, then? Plan A (‘Get Farage!’) such a dismal, complete an utter failure, indeed a catastrophic backfire for the liberal fascists, so time to invoke Plan B: the undeclared UKIP ‘meeja’ blackout? Perhaps they think if they just don’t mention UKIP that little ‘problem’ will simply slip away…
If they can’t defeat the democratic will of a growing number of voters and annihilate UKIP with innuendo, insults and ad homs they’ll just act like the party isn’t about to totally dominate a national vote on the EU in a few weeks time..
On yesterday’s BBC1 News at Ten, the egg-throwing incident was not reported (although earlier in the evening in a “taster” for the 10:00 News there was a clip of Farage getting into his car after this incident). Yup – the BBC’s tactic now appears to be to ignore UKIP in the hope that it goes away.
BBC Radio London was in full anti-Clarkson mode today. Majority said he should be sacked, disgraceful etc Just a smattering of level headed people saying it is a stitch up. Most though went on about him being a BBC employee and that they should not condone it. Anyway they said Clarkson only appeals to a small middle aged, presumably hideously white minority. Conveniently overlooking the fact that Top Gear is the most successful programme BBC Worldwide has. Apparently TG needs to be more diverse anyway. This could be the end of bloke TV as we know it. Have met Clarkson in a professional capacity. Very nice chap. What he does on camera is an act. We get closer to Orwell’s 1984 Thought Crimes every day.
I watched the newspaper review on Sky last night. The huge efforts made by the reviewers not to use the ‘n’ word whilst talking about Clarkson. As a child when choosing between two items we often used the ‘Eenie, Meenie’ rhyme and always with the ‘n’ word. Listen to people reciting the same today and everyone uses a different substitute and it sounds false although ‘teacher’ sounds good to me. But who released Clarkson’s tape? I think there should be an enquiry. Someone in the BBC took the decision to cause trouble otherwise a word in private would have been appropriate – how old is that bit of film? But I am extremely offended by the ‘c’ word – think Naughtie introducing the Health Minister. And no, I am not just saying that I am offended, I really am (I never ‘like’ a comment here that either refers to it or uses it). But were there calls for Naughtie’s resignation or sacking. I have also heard reference on such hilarious comedy shows as I think ‘The Now Show’ – memory may be failing but certainly on the 6.30 shows. Why isn’t there the same fuss. That word is certainly not used in my hearing and I would recommend any Beeboids in doubt to test it by saying it in their mothers’ hearing.
I made the same point at the end of the last thread, it say more about those that ‘work’ for the bBC than it does Clarkson. So many conniving lefty’s and similar to the way that Carol Thatcher was dispatched for saying something off camera.
I was thinking the same about the Carole Thatcher precedent to be honest. Surprisingly similar scenarios, one used the “G” word, the other accused of using the “n” word. Both off air.
What are the differencies? Apart from one having “Thatcher” in their name and the other generating revenues of (alledgedly) £300m for the BBC I can’t think of too many.

Sadie Nine ( yes that really is her name) on BBC Essex totally the opposite 99% of callers , texts , tweets ,e-mails supported Jezza , Essex man & women are all Tory / Ukip , no socialist pc , labourite twats allowed into this county & BBC Essex know it . One branch of them that doesn`t tow the party line .
I imagine this is part of a turf war within the BBC. As they now own Top Gear (what a mistake it was by Clarkson to sell it to them) they need to mould it into their image. The problem is that just sacking the current team would be suicide and the bean counters won’t let them do it.
So they have to smear him out. They’ve done it before and they’ll do it again …
And then there’s the wider issue: wasn’t it the BBC leading the pack about the outrageously outrageous news that GCHQ monitored a lot of calls?
How come 007 listening in to calls to try and catch the Mad Bomber is an outrage but lefty sneaks rooting around in the bins for unaired footage of people saying naughty words is perfectly OK?
You know, thinking about it, I’m pretty sure Jihadists use some insensitive language too.
I think I heard it said that Top Gear brings in £300million for the BBC. Now, he’s been entertaining us for years, and he’s obviously been entertaining large segments of the world too, for years, and the BBC has been promoting him. So, they have been very happy with the format. So, BBC why are you getting all hoity-toity now? Hypocrisy anyone?
Correct. My partner has been in tele for years. Clarkson is seen as TV gold in the industry. He rakes in millions for the beeb on sales abroad and with spin offs. Also what is little known, as I understand, is that Clarkson owns the TG format/ brand NOT the BBC. Get rid of Clarkson and the Beeb may well lose Top Gear. So they are mightily flexible with their sanctimony. If it was a major UKIP player or any other bod that is in need of “re-education” they wouldn’t stop till they destroyed that individuals career. They let off Diane Abbott for her racist comments and she is regularly on the Beeb payroll. This story will be dropped on Monday by the Beeb I bet.
Nice one…..I seem to remember that years ago there was an American guy who used that technique to get around TV censorship and was feted for making it look foolish and stupid……can’t remember his name ?
From the bottom of the last OT, with regard to Paxman’s possible replacement on Newsnight:
Geoff says:
May 2, 2014 at 12:19 pm
Just end the program, there is more that enough agenda pushing news on the BBC already, 24 hours worth in fact.
Since the advent of News 24 and digital TV, I can’t quite see why we still need to have 1pm, 6pm and 10pm news + Newsnight & World News (BBC4) on entertainment channels, just jobs for the boys funded by the telly tax.
My point;
The simplest ideas are always the best ones. By having all of their ‘current affairs’ shows moved to ‘News 24’ it would interrupt the interminable hamster wheel of rolling news.
Having programmes shown as per their current timings on bBC 1 and 2 would allow any viewers who actually watch Newsnight, QT, Panorama etc to maintain their viewing schedule.
Of course this would probably even mean more ‘reality shows’ and repeats on their ‘flagship’ channel beeboid One.
This would make it easier to argue that as the bBC no longer provides anything not easily available on the other free channels, it should no longer be supported by the tv tax.
Profits from the subscription/advertising on the remaining stable of beeboid channels could then be used to make ‘News 24’ available on freeview, as per Sky News, RT and Al Jazeera.
On Today this morning Umanna (Labour) was given free rein to interrupt Willetts (Conservative) in the discussion concerning the Pfizer bid for Astra-Zeneca. Umanna. Whichever of the presenters (Mishal or Sarah) was chairing this farce just sat there. Sure Mishal/Sarah burbled something during an Umanna rant drowning out Willetts but he took no notice and M/S didn’t bother further. Mind you Willetts could have got down there with Umanna but chose not to defend himself nor complain to M/S that he was being denied the chance to put his case.
Just to put this in context: earlier in the programme Heseltine (CINO adviser to Cameron on “industry”) was quoted at length on the 8:00 “news”. Then in a conspicuous display of faux-impartiality there was a 10 second slot after the news where some commentator was allowed to say that the bid should take its course and that foreign investment (eg in the car industry) has often created remarkable benefits for the UK. This was ignored in the follow-up Willetts-Umanna “discussion”. On the contrary, the identical statist agenda of Labour and Heseltine (who has Cameron’s ear on this kind of thing which negates anything Willetts might say or want) supported and enabled by the BBC could not have been more clearly illustrated.
Contrast this excellent rational essay on the climate change lunacy by Lord Lawson with the laughably emotional and religious garbage that we regularly hear from Harrabin, Shukman and the rest of the clowns on the BBC and elsewhere. Bear with it as it is quite a lengthy piece but well worth the time. Essential reading for those who delight in throwing the show stopping statements at the know all zealots spouting the mantra that we all meet from time.
So Jeremy Clarkson has allegedly committed the cardinal sin of ‘racism’, by uttering a word that is only racist, if uttered by a person with a white skin.
One or more Beeboid PC zealot(s), discovered this heinous crime, by going to the trouble and expense of having a piece of video tape (which had not been aired to the public) forensically examined. The public spirited individual then decided to leak details of the crime to the well respected, impartial, and informative organ the ‘Daily Mirror’.
This video tape must be the intellectual property of the BBC, and it crossed my mind that perhaps this person should be investigated by senior Beeboid management, for leaking material which could be deemed as commercially sensitive information. However I doubt this will occur, because it’s only certain sorts of property that are deemed sensitive, i.e embarrassing reports, details of pay offs, pensions, expenses, grants from dubious sources, grants to dubious groups, political affiliations of journalistic staff etc.
My brother-in-law does some freelance work as a writer for the BBC. Yes, he’s a lefty – but not as lefty as the stuff he produces for the BBC. But I digress.
He knew the people working on The One Show at the time of the Carol Thatcher incident. His take on it was that some people – and Jo Brand in particular – just didn’t like Carol Thatcher and so were looking for an excuse – any excuse – to get rid of her. Once she made her “gaffe” it was game over for her.
I can only assume that some person(s) are looking for a way to get rid of Clarkson. First we have the “slope” comment. Didn’t really get anywhere, so let’s step up a gear… Now, the leaking of alleged use of the so-called “n-word”. If that doesn’t work, no doubt there’ll be some other allegation.
Are there any of our leftie trolls out there who can answer me this question ( it IS a genuine question)?
It appears uttering the “N” word ( how very twee!) is the worst crime a white person can commit in modern Britain – worse than being a paedophile. So can someone tell me why it’s OK for black wannabe gangstas and rappers address each other as “Nigga”, even St. Trayvon Martin used the epithet as part of his Twitter name. Where’s the equality in that? We even have gays calling each other and describing themselves as “queer” whereas a straight person using the word is described as homophobic. How come one section of society is vilified, demonised and placed beyond the pale, and the other section is allowed a pass on the use? If no one batters an eyelid when black people use the word to each other, why is it such a disgrace for anyone else to use it.
Additionally, the word “spook” was a derogatory name for black people in the 1970s yet no one was bothered when the BBC used it in the title of one of their highly rated series (Spooks) yet Clarkson was vilified when he used the word slope when describing the unlevel bridge they built across the river Kok. Another case of selective complaining.
As it was in the Met Police…
Or “Race Code 3” – but that was inevitably changed to “Identity Code 3” because the former might have upset someone. Heaven knows what it is now – in the States, it seems that they are keen on omitting a suspects race from his description – that should initiate a lot of arrests – not.
I don’t know, but I think it all goes back to the Macpherson report and the absurd notion that something is racist if it is perceived as such by the “victim” or any other person. (I think this definition is absurd because, to me, something is only “racist” when the intention is to be racist).
I was thinking who said ” Control the language and you control the masses”. Could it have been those old freedom lovers Hitler, Goebbels, Stalin or Mao? No! It turns out to have been Saul Alinsky, he of the handbook for leftie activism “Rules For Radicals”. It was Alinsky who also advised how to close down any argument you don’t like – First ridicule, then demonise and finally isolate the messenger. It’s something we’ve seen this week with both Farage and Clarkson.
That bastard Alinsky and his followers sure have been the cause of a lot of unrest in society.
I am sure someone at Beeboid HQ can find some footage of Clarkson wiping his arse on pages from the Qu’ran, then eating them, then shitting them back out, then stamping on them and finally, setting fire to them.
And if they can’t find them, they could go to great expense and lengths to manufacture such a thing.
i think gerry adams is in deep trouble here, what will happen to the peace process if he gets charged, keep a eye on that one for sure, but my main gripe against the bbc this week is there lack of coverage over hamgate and porkgate in subway outlets,it used to be said that immigrants coming to the uk should follow the rule when in rome do as the romans do,now it seems that when in rome do what the muslims want, this discrace and insult by subways store banning are staple diet of ham an pork in there stores and favouring halal meat to pander to the muslims is just to much to take,we are being discriminated in are own country and are cultural and religious practises are being trampled all over on to please this agrressive minority religion called islam, how bad does it have to get in this country before we say enough is enough, ukip say we should tale are country back from those outside and inside who want to destroy us,to right nigel,to right mate.i for one will be boycotting subways, i suggest you all do the same, then but then the bbc and the other media outlets might cover this story they are ignoring.
I’ve not been in Subway for a very long time. I also don’t think I’ve been in a KFC for over seven years. Them going halal is not news that’s why we’ve chosen not to give them any of our money. What I thought was cynical as that I saw a Subway advert about a week ago showing a bacon roll and only days after the announcement that 200 shops were going to go to halal…”due to demand” Boycott them put them out of business. The issue is if I walked down the Street asking I’m pretty sure a large percentage of those I asked would not have a clue what halal is.
You know Dave, a couple of years ago I might have said the same thing … today
I m not so sure about that.
Likewise, I dont use McD, KFC, and never even been in a Subway … to me that’s beside the point, they are discriminating openly against any,
non muslim customers fool enough to
frequent them, and instilling a sharia practice.
… BOYCOTT SUBWAY
Subway & KFC have been doing this for years Stuart, it’s the reason I have not bought any of their produce for more than 7 years and counting.
At least, if you buy from a Muslim owned take away, you know the deal, they are not gonna hide the fact that they only serve halal, this by subway, kfc (amongst many others) is deceptive and pandering.
I suppose it was odds on that Paxo’s replacement on Newsnight was going to be from the Guardian. But it still shows how little the BBC cares about criticism from anyone but their favoured groups. I won’t bother to list these favoured groups because we all know who they are. When they appointed Katz there was a storm of protest and no doubt there will be again.
The BBC are the most conceited, self congratulatory organisation in the country if not the world. They really don’t give a fig about what we the LF payers think. They just carry on with the liberal left propaganda day in day out , recruiting ever more like minded folk. So much for plurality. By the way, a note to the James Harding ,BBC Head of News of whatever his title is, he seems to think that plurality is running lots of stories. No plurality ought to mean running lots of different views and opinions about a few important stories. The Russians got a more pluralistic news service than we get from the BBC when they had Pravda and Tass. God they make me angry.
Radio 4 fictional drama State of the Nation – Pot Luck is a monologue telling of hard times in Stoke-on-Trent.
What do we find there?
1. Skin and bone people
2. Busy food banks
3. Like a war, rationing all over again
4. Only took one women to take down a line of men (Mrs. T?)
5. The plug is pulled on Stoke, Manchester is re-wired (surely not BBC Salford?)
6. People walk by with heads down, only recognised by time on dole, 14 months, 5 years
7. Inconsiderate police raiding houses, blue flashing lights. Must be desperate Ukrainians, next stop Dover (as if, what about the immigration lawyers)
8. Still waiting for the knee operation
9. One class traitor took ‘right to buy’ option, had to borrow, now spends all his time at bookie’s
10. Big society, not
11. Adult daughter leave home, now under-occupied
12. New house is damp
13. Long waiting list, no beds in hospital
14. Poor loved by government as they bank rolled the bankers
15. Greedy meters take all the money.
Of course this is art and doesn’t need ‘balance’ or any connection to reality!
I too heard this piece of crap.
It was introduced as drama portraying the very margins of recession-hit Britain.
Absolute disgrace-if only the cafe owner had been garotted by the criminal who nicked her daughters necklace after two minutes, we`d not have had to hear this lefty bullshit.
Patronising lefty crap…does the BBC do anything other these days?
Where the hell are the Tories complaining about this water torture of the intellect and the brain…f***in gangrenous foot rot and tommy rot as well.
Now the BBC Stasi are apparently rooting through discarded footage from two years ago in search of crimethink , let’s rewind the tape and remind ourselves that the BBC was always so scrupulous about rooting out naughty people:
After the botched July attacks Hamid told a BBC reporter he had worked with on the programme ‘Don’t Panic, I’, Islamic’ that he knew the identities of the culprits – but she felt ‘no obligation’ to tell police, the court heard.
The journalist informed her boss and the information was passed on up to senior executives but a decision was taken not to pass it on.
Shit! Now the Fascists / Communists on PM are talking about ‘housing inequality’ where people should be allocated a home ‘according to their needs’ and that people who under occupy should be taxed heavily like the ‘bedroom tax’ for private owners.
Astonishing that a group of loonies which can take such offence when the ‘tax’ is applied to the poor, but wants to see it applied to their ‘class enemies’.
That includes the late Bob Crow, and hate preacher Anjem Chaudary. Good job Labour local authorities aren’t wasting our hard-earned taxes on.. enemies of our society.
Why would the BBC be interested.? Free speech is no longer a cause worth their attention. Now ” inappropriate or unhelpful” speech is a different matter.
I am sure the BBC dreams of the day when it can scream at what it deems deviants just like in “The Invasion of the Bodysnatchers”
What a God awful bunch they are.
“‘Islam’ vandal at Bomber Command memorial held thanks to Daily Express.
“A VANDAL who daubed ‘Islam’ on the £ 8million Bomber Command War Memorial days after Muslim fanatics murdered soldier Lee Rigby admitted his guilt yesterday.”
Right at the bottom you learn the poor sod was mentally ill. Not that this will stop the Fascists, they will claim that everyone who opposes them is mentally ill which is the most frightening part of all.
“The big BBC bully has had his day. It’s time for polite women.
Politics has changed – the type of inquisition in which Jeremy Paxman specialises doesn’t work.”
Have a read…This is Nick Lowles former group “Red Action”, part and parcel of Searchlight (Now also Hope Not Hate) who were at the time sucking up to the IRA, may have been involved in the Warrington bombing
Following the continued arrest of IRA-connected Gerry ADAMS, the only person Beeboids interviewed on tonight’s 10 pm News, Radio 5, was an Adams supporter from Sein Fein.
An interesting piece but I felt the BBC seemed more interested in exonerating McGuinness and Adams than finding out who did the bombing. Adams’ moral platitudes seem particularly hollow in respect of his recent arrest ( was he ‘thinking of the children’ when that mother was ripped from the desperate clutches of hers?)
The possible connection between the IRA and hard left groups was barely mentioned indeed the word Englishmen was so often used without any context I thought we were going to get a Mark Mardell style reference to ‘domestic terrorism,
The fact that leftist groups actively supported the IRA and or its sub-divisions is surely not news. I forget now the names of the 2 trotskyites that blew themselves up attempting to plant a bomb around that time ,but it was well reported back then.
If the BBC wanted to know who from the left might have been involved why didn’t they just ask the SWP they seem to have a direct line to them on most other subjects
Good site, I have read it a few times, and have now joined to add my working class, early 40’s working in the private sector all my life credentials too. 🙂
Peter hain has an unchallenged moral relativism where by ANC and IRA murders can be discussed away and sanctified. He was given power and he practiced student politics with it . The result is that we are having to deal with terrorist in power bombers in charge of schools kidnappers
Deciding your rates and our troops going though a system that defiles thir servicecan get so unfathomribally horrified at the most Mundanemean a minister of the crown providing reference to a terrorist
Peter Hain regularly refers to IRA ‘political prisoners’ and doesn’t see what the fuss was about secretly giving immunnity to IRA terrorists, and only to IRA terrorists. To think that this man actually became a Cabinet Minister!
For INBBC: front-page of Saturday’s ‘Telegraph’ (£):-
“Head teachers raise ‘serious concerns’ over Islamic school take-over.
“Concern of ‘Trojan Horse’ plot spreads to three more state primaries as head teachers’ leaders voice concerns for the first time over the Islamic infiltration at schools in Birmingham”
By Graeme Paton, Education Editor, and Andrew Gilligan.
“leaders voice concerns for the first time over the Islamic infiltration at schools”
yep! … they obviously knew, or had heard about it …

No interest from the BBC in this story, is the BBC not listening to its teacher friends? Or maybe it wasn’t in the Grauniad.
“Schools across Britain are likely to have been targeted in an alleged Islamist plot to take over classrooms, head teachers have warned.
The National Association of Head Teachers said it had found “concerted efforts” to infiltrate at least six schools in Birmingham.
But the union also said that the scandal had “connections” to other large cities.” http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/educationnews/10804289/Head-teachers-raise-serious-concerns-over-Islamic-school-take-over.html
An impartial (not) and feminist newspaper review on the bBC News Channel, Alice Arnold (celeb lesbian), Alison Phillips (dept editor of the Mirror) and Martine Croxall presenting. Follow it with a woman sports reporter, as a bloke I feel discriminated against, do I have a case as good as Lenny Henry’s?
On Sky News last night Arnold made an impassioned defence of the BBC and the 4,000-odd business class flights made by droids in the last 5 years.
Retreating into some parallel universe of her own she said that droids always flew economy and if they flew business class they paid the difference themselves.
I think all I established from her rant was that Big Baldy always has to turn right at the top of the plane steps.
Fast forwarding through R4 Any Questions on the iPlayer. To be fair to Dimbledore he did seem to be doing a good job. Last item was about Jezza ‘N word’ Clarkson. Dimble did his ‘show of hands’ and found everyone in the audience apparently thinking Jezza should be sacked. Even Dimble seemed surprised.
So that’ll be BBC audience selection getting it ‘about right’ again as usual.
Flexdream …….I agree with you and have submitted the following complaint:
Complaint description:
The audience for Any Questions on Radio 4, 2nd May 2014, was in no way representative of the British population as a whole, contrary to the BBC remit to broadcast without fear or favour to any political leaning in regard to British political reporting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmesave/b041yr92 Towards the end of the programme, (43 minutes in), an audience question was raised about BBC Top Gear presenter, Jeremy Clarkson, using politically incorrect language. After some panel debate, where the views ranged from Mr Clarkson was wrong but had apologised and therefore the matter was concluded, to Mr Clarkson should no longer be allowed to present BBC programmes, the show presenter, Mr Dimbleby requested the audience view on whether Mr Clarkson should continue working for the BBC. The audience response was 100% hands up for Mr Clarkson to be sacked. This audience view is not what I find in my everyday life from socialising face to face and online with all sections of society in regard to Mr Clarkson’s politically incorrect or racial slur. Some of my findings are summarised here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/news/a568267/jeremy-clarkson-racism-row-what-we-did-was-entirely-innocent.html#~oDaQU07hMyoPs6 Therefore your audiences for this show are in no way representative of the taxpayer’s views. This is of concern, especially so close to elections, since studio audiences can sway the listener too.
Watching QT on iplayer. The attacks on UKIP are now having to be finessed and it clearly no longer works to call UKIP a racist party or to call discussion of immigration intrinsically racist. Interesting that we have moved from the Prime Minister feeling comfortable calling UKIP a party of closet racists, to now where even Labour wont call UKIP a racist party.
dimblebore had to jump in quick when the UKIP spokewoman was explaining to the audience that a 1/3 of the country were voting UKIP and that meant a third of the audience must be racist well, he quickly had to tell the audience not to put their hands up if they were UKIP supporters because it would have exposed that the audience was rigged with labour supporting marxists who all hated UKIP.
You could tell by the expression on his face they were nearly caught out.
Bob Crow RIP
Whatever happened to Twiggie?
And Ken Clarke not looking too well here.
I sense that Melanie will outlive them all, and Margot James(?) will yet excel Theresa Mays so-called career!
This clip maybe shows the curse of smiting UKIP!…God seems to like them at the moment!
Perhaps they can go back to Amy Rutter the Nutter and ask her what she thinks of UKIP now.
Oh, and ask her to reflect on her 14% humiliation in the local elections.
On the Saturday R4 Any questions, the question of food banks was up again. The audience were shouting out a lot of opinions, so kelvin Mackenzie asked put up your hands how many of you on benefits; 1 hand went up. However they all seem to know a lot, or can mouth off an opinion , on the subject.
So even without being able to see the audience there was a strong sense of it being a lefty mob.
I don’t want to divert this from comments on QT, but there was no attempt to finesse the attack on yesterday’s “More or Less” on Radio 4. It was a head on attack, bulked up with a repeat of an old item. The UKIP response wasn’t robust enough, but then that might have just been the way they were edited.
RJ the crude attacks are still taking place but the ‘dark side of politicking’ is realising that these attacks don’t work. They cheer the fervent anti-UKIPers and confirm their faith, but the uncommitted see it as the thinly veiled and desperate propaganda it is.
Watched HIGNFY last night and yes, we had the usual UKIP slurs. Really becoming embarrassingly tiresome. Don’t even think Merton can be arsed with it now.
And call me sexist but was the (token?) female guest in any way amusing? The good lady and I watched together and even she was forced to admit a bemusement as to what was being passed off as comedy.
Still we were told how Bridget Christie(?) proudly wore a “Ban page 3” t-shirt when collecting her “Fosters” comedy award, so that’s alright then.
The Sunday Sport always seems to have a young thing in a short skirt facing away from the camera and picking something of the floor without bending her legs.
Should be a lot more offensive to the Bridget Christy’s (sp?) of the world than page 3.
Oh wait… of course… the Sun is owned by antichrist Rupert Murdoch.
Apparently there will be a speech on this at the Head Teachers conference today (Saturday), so maybe the BBC will catch up on it. Though I expect the BBC to spin this as Gove’s reforms taking schools out of the safety net of local authority control. Blithely ignoring the pro-Islamist complacency shown by the local authority and police in Birmingham.
Those who think that West Midlands police has a record of impartially investigating reports of Islamic extremism should read this
“Dispatches vindicated over undercover Mosque film” http://www.channel4.com/info/press/news/dispatches-vindicated-over-undercover-mosque-film
So Plod were ignoring evidence of infiltration at school as well as ignoring evidence of grooming gangs as well as evidence of racist attacks by !$lamics on the street as well as ignoring evidence of postal vote fraud by !$lamics as well as ignoring evidence of etc etc etc
As long as Al Gores Global warming DVD gates played to all the children, and non-viewing is prohibited…there`ll be no reall fuss from the Left or the BBC in regard of this “passionate, if over-officious advocacy of a delightfully-exotic and diverse faith position”.
Where the hell have the NAHT been since 1997?…delivering for Blair that`s what.
A mere Hobby horse of Frankfurt thinking.
Thank you for the good writeup. It in reality used to be a leisure account it. Look advanced to far brought agreeable from you! By the way, how could we keep in touch?
A former Foreign Office man has just claimed on “Today” that Mr Obama is being forced into “talking tough” about Russia/Ukraine because of the presence of a “Right Wing Congress”. A few weeks ago a World Service history claimed that also was the reason JFK was beastly to Castro.
Obama has 54 to 45 Senate & 201/234 House. JFK 64/36 Senate, 262/165 House.
Are these claims made from ignorance, an attempt to fool the audience or a self deluded attempt to keep their heroes on their pedestal?
Just as an aside; is Obama still the Great Leader? The reason I ask is because it used to be that every time he sneezed the BBC included a clip of his amazing oratory, now His name is just mentioned in passing.
Could this be the start of one of those much-trumpeted ‘tipping points’? Obama is a cold, talentless failed community organizer and worst president ever, Farage is fantastic, Climate Change is a con, being PC is Bonkers and the BBC has always thought this way!
It is the standard defence of a bad President, ‘I could do better if it wasn’t for the other side’s behaviour in Congress’. It is only given credence if the President is a Democrat.
Alex it is pathetic, but it also highlights a dangerous trend that we are now seeing in this country, a dangerous trend perpetrated by the *Left* to quash free speech and to some degree advanced by the BBC. Where does it stop? Great works containing a hint of what the *Left* does not like, will they be burned? Will everyone be frightened to open their mouths? The *Left* got what they wanted with Leveson. What next? Keep chucking the wolves their meat and they will keep coming and maybe eventually take you instead of the meat. Take their meat away and by good fortune they will starve and die. Trouble is, the BBC keep chucking the meat!
The most alarming thing about this is that the left want to demonise people for comments made in private. You may say something off colour in the privacy of your own home, someone records it on their mobile phone, makes it public and your life is destroyed by the chatterati and supine media. Don’t think it can happen? Take a look at the guy who owned the basketball team in America who let his thoughts slip to his mixed race girlfriend who secretly recorded it and later released the recording to the media (after they had split and she was arrested for embezzlement).
More or Less disgraced itself yesterday as it set out to see just what % of our laws now come from Brussels.
That Vivien Reding-EU bigwig in such matters-said it was 70% obviously only would encourage UKIP…and the OU in conjunction with the BBC and assorted University shills simply can`t allow that!
So Harford gets all aerated and interruptus with the UKIP bloke on the show…whatever happened to the worship of reason, being entitled to your opinions…but not entitled to your own facts…the sacred nature of numbers and objectivity?
Nowhere to be found when it comes to UKIP…or indeed Global Warming, which was the test bed for social engineering and data massages, so it turns out.
More or Less?…very much lesser as any kind of vehicle for anything but “The Project”.
Is there ANY guaranteed sanctuaries for the open mind (as opposed to the empty head) on the BBC schedules…or must I seek out Jonathan Meades when they deign to come down from their lofty greatness to skewer the Left by way of sport?
Recommended reading: The Great Deception, by Booker and North.
The architects of the Project laid bare.
All the lies, deceit, bullshit, and the gullible British public.
Required reading here at our UKIP office!
Note too that some kids in a local school have made the head remove the Obama poster and soundbite-or else they`d all come in with UKIP badges next day.
The poster went.
There IS hope then!…and some audacity too, although the school gauleiters would rather we not mock the Project.
But it`s coming!
I noted the BBCs ability to put the Police in the dock for arresting Gerry Adams by their use of headlines on Radio 4 this morning at 8 and 9 a.m.
Words to the effect that “The Government deny reports that arresting Adams will put the Peace Process at risk”.
Couldn`t the BBC have equally put this story as “The IRA deny that their attempts to blackmail the Government into letting a murder accessory(at the very least) will show the Peace Process up for what it actually is…a one way street to letting old murderers off the hook, whilst still hoping to pin someone for Bloody Sunday”?
Depends on what end of the telescope you want to see history…the BBC clearly want rose tinted lenses, blue sky shaded glasses and a John Lennon songbook for ANYTHING to do where the Brits get their comeuppance…and the whiff of cordite, semtex ,palm oil and dates fills the air.
F88in 60s/70s Oxbridge commies..at least Philby moved to be nearer his leaders.
BBC employees as well as I recall back then.
How you frame the question elicits the correct response I`d imagine, according to Chomsky and Alinsky…but the BBC are so brazenly stupid and arrogant now-out of control-that they seem to think it doesn`t matter what we think of them anymore.
Let`s hope the call to arms begins on May 23rd…can`t come soon enough.
I have noticed the BBC reporting all the time that ‘Gerry Adams denies the charges’ or some such nonsense. As I see it unless Adams was going to say something to the effect ‘Well done, Police, it’s a fair cop’ then the need for the BBC to report that he is claiming his innocence is an unnecessary waste of news time and we know how valuable than can be to the BBC when it chooses.
the need for the BBC to report that he is claiming his innocence is an unnecessary waste of news time
Try learning about the law when it comes to reporting criminal investigations. Then you’ll realise why news organisations report situations like this this in the way that they do.
Same rules for the defendants in the Stephen Lawrence case was it Scott?
My point stands- the BBC in all their reporting seem to think that the IRA will turn all nasty on us again if we don`t release Adams forthwith.
From the Mau Mau to the SNP, via the IRA…the BBC collude with the “rebels”…those what give good pictures, and smell of Molotovs…rather that those who oppose said rebels.
Always do…and Adams is just the latest good cause unfairly being hounded for historical grievances, and political purposes.
Funnily enough though….never applies to Savile, Clifford or the likes of Jim Davidson…who must be hounded with no statute of limitations an issue in those cases.
Funny that it was a Savile Enquiry that was used to try and airbrush Adams role in Ireland…bet the BBC hate THAT name coming back to the bulletins.
Why don`t YOU go off and try learning the law for us Scott?…usual ad hominem ignorance and patronising platitudes as ever from you implies you could yet be a Rumptious Bumpole if you set out now so to be.
Dare to dream…yes you can…just do it eh?
Try reading a book thats been written for lawyers. Legal text written for jouranalists are equivalent to what a lawyer learns at GCSE level, mainly because journalists aren’t intelligent enough to understand law beacuse they all have degrees in the Arts, as your post demonstrates
And that will likely be the end of this segment i guess!
A journalist, is replaced by a barrister, is replaced by a…whatever….
To even think theres a requirement for a news organisation to report protestations of innocence is such obvious bollocks…..
C’mon guys…..precedence, case law, statute law, common law, where does it stand?
There’s nothing in law that requires the media to include an arrested person’s denials when allegations are made against them. Do they print/broadcast the denials of the ordinary, common-pace wrongdoer or accused? No they don’t, unless that denial has some bearing on the investigation. Of course, any publicity during an ongoing court case is sub-judice and under reporting restrictions as should be the case in a fair trial. But requiring a news broadcaster to include, indeed highlight, the denials of a person under investigation is more a case of Public Relations damage limitation than a legal necessity. Our armchair briefs are talking bollocks as usual – or they have mis-interpreted the requirements of the various Criminal Law Acts.
Sky: Mr Adams, 65, vehemently denies allegations Telegraph: He denies the accusations and has always denied having been a member of the IRA Daily Mail: Adams, 65, vehemently denies allegations levelled by former republican colleagues that he ordered Mrs McConville’s murder and secret burial in 1972. Daily Express: Although her family has always pointed the finger, he also denies any involvement in the killing of Mrs McConville. The Wall Street Journal: He has repeatedly denied any role in the 1972 killing of Jean McConville,
And LLB (hons) can you suggest a text book that shows McNae’s to be wrong?
Let’s face it, our media is shit scared of upsetting organisations ( and religions) whose members resort to gratuitous violence whenever someone upsets them. McGuinness made veiled threats about just that eventuality if Adams wasn’t released. Our supine media probably think they HAVE to highlight Adams’ denials so they don’t have to keep evacuating their offices after code-worded bomb threats being made if they didn’t. After all the BBC has admitted it wouldn’t knowingly criticise or insult Islam because of the possibilty of violent retribution.
It did’t take long, after all these years, for Sinn Fein/I.R.A. to revert to type with the intimidation these past three days, did it?
Indeed, I was correct, there is no compulsion whatever upon the bbc, or anyone else to publicise denials of any defendants.
You can refer until you are blue in tne face, to any set of precedents, whatever, but the whole notion of a media organisation not being able to report charges brought, without refernce to denials by the accused, and that being wrong etc, is total bollocks me ole china.
Bollocks
Got that Llb?
Hons?
Dysgwr_Cymraeg: You asked for which laws, I told you. I have told you the reference books to look it up. I can do no more. If you wish to think that you know more than the text books, and every media organisation in the country then there is no point in continuing with this conversation.
It gets more bizarre by the second. “Although the clip was never broadcast on the BBC Two show, the corporation said it had received more than 300 complaints following recent media coverage. On Saturday, the BBC said it had nothing to add to its earlier statement.”
So people complaining about something that was never shown. Maybe it could be a BBc DVD bonus scene? This truly is madness.
“France: Napoleon III Theatre renamed Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Theatre”
[Opening excerpt]-
“The theatre hadn’t been used for 150 years, except by the Nazis, and so Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has restored to the French a beautiful heirloom of their culture and heritage. The renaming, meanwhile, will serve as an ever-present reminder of the present and future of France. One wonders if Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be this generous in restoring, say, the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, or other French landmarks that testify to what France once was, without demanding in return even more drastic rededications.”

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/27253279

NB I’d love to see more female snooker players on TV. Of course they would have to be modestly dressed. No short skirts and low tops otherwise where would one look as they bent over the table?

They could wear burkhas. Extra browning points for the BBC. I’m assuming that snooker is not haram, of course.

No, we’re saying there’s a good chance he’s a BBC plant. What are the chances of a London-based BBC employee just happening to walk into a pub in Bath while NF is being interviewed by the beeb? Still he know’s which side his bread is buttered. There’d be no more cushy licence-fee-payer-funded BBC gigs for that talentless hack if UKIP gain power.

Blood pressure all right, is it?
So your justification for this being a successful conspiracy theory is:
a) it could be one, so therefore it is; and
b) this man is a more successful actor than you are an artist.
Cut and dried case, then…
PS: The “normal folks of England” don’t need you to assume the role of spokesperson. If they were to choose one, they’d probably choose one a little more level-headed, don’t you think?

I didn’t see QT, but Mainstream Central must be desperately rethinking its tactics now that people aren’t buying the ‘UKIP are bad racists’ tag.

Yeah, sounds like a plan.
The BBC: They still don’t get it, do they?

My point;

Just to clarify….. Spook was a derogatory American word for a black person in the 1970s.

What do we find there?
1. Skin and bone people

But the union also said that the scandal had “connections” to other large cities.”

Shame. 🙂

Vote UKIP this year, next year, every year

I never quite get this page 3 antipathy.

Should be a lot more offensive to the Bridget Christy’s (sp?) of the world than page 3.

This should be taking precedence over many other stories, in my opinion (for example, Paxman leaving the BBC).

It is covered under:
Criminal justice Act 1925
Administration of Justice Act 1960
Criminal Procedure (Attendance of Witnesses) Act 1965
Magistrates’ Court Act 1980
Contempt of Court Act 1981
Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996
As well as Common Law.
Once active proceedings have started the media is heavily constrained as to what it can and cannot report.
Have a look at McNae’s Essential Law for Journalists.

Try reading a book thats been written for lawyers. Legal text written for jouranalists are equivalent to what a lawyer learns at GCSE level, mainly because journalists aren’t intelligent enough to understand law beacuse they all have degrees in the Arts, as your post demonstrates

Sky: Mr Adams, 65, vehemently denies allegations

A Comment on INBBC ‘report-
Comment by Robert Spencer, ‘Jihadwatch’-
“France: Napoleon III Theatre renamed Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Theatre”
