“This should be dragged out into the open and be discussed.”
Make no mistake, Taliban devotees are in our schools, playgrounds, homes, mosques, political parties, public service, private firms and universities.
And if we are to have any hope of combating them, we need to stop this attitude of appeasement and understand why so many Muslims are attracted to the most punishing forms of belief, suppressing women and children.
Those who hold the reins of power are all too complacent….in fact they all too often aid and abet those who would undermine our society. The Law Society, as with the BBC, and you suspect many other organisations such as schools that force feed non-Muslim children Halal meat, bends over backwards to accommodate demands made by Muslim groups regardless of the consequences in wider society…..
Law Society publishes practice note on Sharia wills and inheritance rules
The Jordanian Women’s Union, along with lawyers across the Hashemite Kingdom, expressed shock last week after a ruling discriminating against women who do not wear the Islamic hijab was issued by the Amman Sharia Court of Appeal, according to Al Medanah News.
The court announced late last week that it agreed with one lawyer’s statement – based on a fatwa – that says a woman who does not cover up or wear a hijab is considered a “slut” and shouldn’t be allowed to testify in court.
Jordanian Women Raped with Legal Impunity
The Jordanian Penal code…. encourages rape perpetrators to marry their victim as a means of avoiding prosecution or punishment – which ranges from imprisonment and hard labor to execution.
Just how much Sharia is acceptable? It’s already here:
The Talibanisation of British childhood by hardline parents
The rapid spread of rigid, diehard Islam [In the UK] is deeply worrying. Yet those in power, focused on terrorist cells, seem oblivious to this other peril.
For many of us Muslims, this creeping Talibanisation of childhood is unendurable.
I could never have imagined that the Taliban would be claiming to have ‘won the war’ in Afghanistan.
Or, much worse, that our politicians and Muslim ‘leaders’ here would allow their twisted ideology to spread across Britain.
If this was happening in any other nation, we would be condemning it loudly.
Yet here, curtailed and deficient education endured by many Muslim children is seen as a religious entitlement, which, if opposed, apparently confirms Islamophobia.
Why are we fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan and indulging Taliban values here?
Even if it offends liberal principles, the powerful must find a way of stopping Islamicists from promulgating their distorted creed.
Yesterday an expert commentator on the BBC told us that Putin ‘operates under a different set of rules to us in the West’….and that ‘the West has had a shock and has had to adapt as Putin undermines them politically and economically’.
Many Muslims also seek to operate under a different set of rules…Sharia Law…rules that will undermine the hard fought for secular democracies and our way of life and will take us back to the Middle Ages.
‘Trojan horse’: Radical group ‘aims to convert’ UK schools to strict Islam
In Muslim states, violence against women is validated. A dark age is upon us
Across the West – for a host of reasons – millions of Muslims are embracing backward practices. In the UK young girls – some so young that they are still in push chairs – are covered up in hijabs. Disgracefully, there are always vocal Muslim women who seek to justify honour killings, forced marriages, inequality, polygamy and childhood betrothals. Why are large numbers of Muslim men so terrorised by the female body and spirit? Why do Muslim women encourage this savage paranoia?
The BBC seems to be entirely unconcerned…or rather, as with gays and Muslims, concerns for all things Islamic trumps all other considerations.
The BBC have so far failed to report this issue.….limiting its coverage to a small paragraph in ‘What the papers say’.
That’s despite concern raised in Parliament as the Telegraph reports:
Barry Sheerman, the Labour MP for Huddersfield, cautioned against legislation on the issue but called for a joint investigation by the Commons Justice and Home Affairs Committees into how widespread the use of Sharia law now is in Britain.
Which you, and Barry Sherman, might be a bit disappointed about as he states:
“This should be dragged out into the open and be discussed.”
Louise Mensch, the former Tory MP, described the guide as “utterly unacceptable”.
“There could not be a clearer case for ministers and government to step in than the Law Society’s breathtakingly sexist Sharia law guidelines,” she said.
Meanwhile Peter Tatchell, the human rights campaigner and patron of Tell Mama, the group which combats anti-Muslim hate crime, said: “The Law Society is wrong.
“It should withdraw its guidelines assisting or promoting Sharia Law in the UK.”
Other publications have managed to find the time and space to bring us this news:
Islamic Sharia Law Effectively Enshrined In UK Legal System With New Will Guidance
Islamic law to be enshrined in British law as solicitors get guidelines on ‘Sharia compliant’ wills
Sharia Law to be enshrined in British legal system as lawyers get guidelines on drawing up documents according to Islamic rules
Islamic legal principles to be integrated into UK law for first time
And many more…just not the UK’s most powerful and dominant news broadcaster.
Any bets this will be the topic for discussion on Nicky Campbell? Ideal you might think, just up his fatwa.
Having said that maybe he just might, thanks to Guest Who for putting this our way:
…about Mohammed Naseem (the one who thought 7/7 might have a silver lining if it got Islam talked about…amongst other interesting views)….
And, of course, Beeboids, like the rest of the political class, do not demur from undemocratically amending British law into Sharia-compliant Islamic law, but the same attitude applies to Sharia-compliant finance as well:-

British political class only encourages implementation of Sharia law in Britain. This is one indicator of the extent of Islamisation, when the Muslim population is 5% of total, and rapidly rising.

More Islamisation of Britain-
Will INBBC ‘Panorama’ investigate this?:-
“Birmingham state school being probed amid claims £70,000 was spent on playground speakers to call pupils to Islamic prayers.
“The school claimed sum, but the equipment is worth far less, it is alleged.
£It is at centre of a storm surrounding ‘plot’ to oust non-Muslim teachers.
“Education chiefs are now investigating Park View Academy.

I wonder if this alleged fraud would have seen the light of day if this fracas had not kicked off. What with the BBC paying stupid prices to change light bulbs there seems to be a strange lack of care with public money. Until they get caught out.
Will Watchdog ever investigate the waste of money and possible fraud in schools? What does the panel think?

Tx for picking up.
It was/is an amazing series of exchanges; quite transfixing as it unfolded and various recognisable personalities weighed in.
Certainly interest high and passions abounding.
Interesting also how the tenor of comments can shape things. Messrs Campbell & Dale were ‘passionate’ to the point of stridency, where Mr. Ansar kept his cool, if whilst backing into a very dark corner. Be interesting to see whose technique wins more or loses friends.
Mr. Ansar’s overt appeal to Tell MaMa was also interesting. It appears to have fallen on less than welcoming ears.
Not sure quite how they ended up as impartial brokers mind.
As it really does not (yet, directly) affect me a gripping series to observe from afar.
The BBC’s role in promoting debate with such folk can still not be underestimated. But they thrive on attention, and he certainly has had that.

Just hope I’m still around when all the the lefties who are willing for us to become Islamic are turned on. We all know it will happen and I can’t wait to see it!

I am not to bothered about Afghanistan. Losing Afghanistan is at worst equivalent to losing Little Big Horn. Losing education to a mix of Liberals and Islamists does worry me.

This site is a laughing stock amongst those whom it needs to persuade. We are simply talking to ourselves, like grumpy old men in the snug, ignored and derided by those in the lounge. Concerted action is needed. ‘Outreach’ should be the buzzword. Organised campaigns designed to bring BBC bias to the attention of the general public and to politicians will achieve far more than talking amongst ourselves.
We should spread the word by all possible means. For individuals acting alone one simple way is to influence people we meet. Subtlety will have more effect than the sledgehammer. All it needs is the planting of a seed of doubt. “Ah yes, but you can’t always believe the BBC you know. They are very biased.” Then change the subject and leave them thinking.
If we are ever to achieve anything the site needs to become more focussed. It has lost its way, with many contributions that are hopelessly wide of the mark. ‘The mark’, for the many contributors that seem to have forgotten, is the sole issue of BBC Bias. I can just hear people in the BBC reading out some of the nonsense that is posted here and scoffing at it, and then dismissing the whole site out of hand. Contributors should ask themselves whether their posting actually gives evidence of BBC bias or whether it is really about something else. Large volumes of blather might relieve the poster’s feelings but they damage the cause. I’m asking for some intellectual and emotional discipline here; less groundless ranting and more solid fact. Even perfectly valid complaints of bias are devalued if they are accompanied by irrelevant ranting.
Posters should not voice their opinions on the TV licence fee, immigration, Muslims, and politics generally. It’s fine to involve these issues when they arise within an example of BBC bias, but not otherwise. Gratuitous whining about immigration merely allows our enemies to accuse us of racism, and in fact there have been postings that actually have been blatantly racist. These sentiments are tremendously damaging to the site as a whole. Generalised attacks on the Labour Party allow our enemies to discount what we say about the BBC on grounds of our bias. We also need to be very careful about issues of gender, sexual politics, and sexual orientation. Fine if the matter is relevant; damaging if it isn’t. So let’s have no more posts about the evils of Islam; about the damage it is doing to British society. No matter how enraged you are, this is not the place. This is not a talking shop for right wing patriots; it is a site devoted to exposing BBC bias, nothing more and nothing less. If you want to discuss the Muslim problem there are plenty of other places where it is more appropriate.
Allegations of BBC bias should be properly researched. All too often assertions made on this site can be disproved by a quick look at the BBC News website, or by watching a BBC programme on iPlayer. Unjustified or irrelevant complaints kill the credibility of the whole site.
Can we have some discipline please?

I can assure you Bill, whoever you are, that the BBC staff will laugh just as much at reasoned argument and polite discourse as they might at vitriol. The creatures that infest this corrupt public service are indifferent to us, so indoctrinated at university and filled with loathing for this countries past and present state that to try and reason with them is pointless. I recently tried an experiment, just trivial really, but it was illuminating. I asked twenty teens what occurred in 1066 and 1215 in this country…….only five answered correctly, the others shrugged. Then asked twenty over fifties the same……18 answered correctly…..pretty shocking eh?

Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals
The remains of more than 15,000 babies were incinerated as ‘clinical waste’ by hospitals in Britain with some used in ‘waste to energy’ plants
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/10717566/Aborted-babies-incinerated-to-heat-UK-hospitals.html
There is something profoundly evil about this practice that I find very disturbing.
