MID WEEK OPEN THREAD….

It’s Wednesday and it’s also Budget Day!  I see that the comrades at the BBC have sent Evan Davies up to Newcastle to gain insight into opinion on the state of the economy. Ah, that impartiality – I’m just surprised it wasn’t Liverpool airport! Anyway, a new Open Thread for you!

Oh bugger, you just know the bBC are to going to go OTT with this story regards….Racism.
G4S guards face plane death charges

Got to love the picture of the dead man holding up his child, gee remind me again what he got sent to prison for bBC. What a nice man, just think if he hadn’t (like all these illegals) tried to get thrown off the plane and thus remain in the UK, he would be still alive.

Yes, I too can see a rolling stone of grievances, race hustlers, Matrix/Cherie and Phil Shiner…with Al Sharpton, the Mau Mau and Friends of Trayvon Martin on imported draught.
What do we want?-a return to Jack Straw and Jacqui Smiff , all necessary state powers retuned to the Howard League, Harry Fletcher at the Probation Service?
And no private G4S involvement, whether they`re any good or not( as if the State were any good when THEY had to carry or cage these Guardian meal tickets).
When do we want it?…preferably before Charles Clarke gets back as a consultant to give Ian Brady his State funeral.
F*** Off Beeb….we know what your game is…but they`re rolling the Stone of grievance and compo, of trashing a whitey in uniform and letting the “asylum seekers” all in to stay!

The bBC fears about Russian expansion.
Ukraine crisis: Could Trans-Dniester be next?
Russia’s annexation of Crimea has led some to wonder whether any other former Soviet countries could follow. The separatist region of Trans-Dniester has already offered itself to Moscow – a request which Russia has promised to consider.

So a breakaway part of the Soviet Union (Moldovia) which itself has a region which wants to break away (the part in question above) warrants the bBC to write a sob piece. Here is what the bBC doesn’t tell you about Moldovia:
Romania Urges EU Membership Date For Moldova

Romanian Passports For Moldovans: Entering the EU Through the Back Door

Here is a bBC article (Not linked above) on Moldovia:
Alarm at EU passports for Moldova
“This mass granting of the Romanian citizenship is a way to assimilate the Republic of Moldova,” (into the EU)

Wouldn’t it be nice if for once the bBC gave you all the facts on a subject.

I really don’t know what’s going on with this, and the media seem determined to ensure one remains so with a blizzard of non news.
I’m presuming a lot can change quite quickly, but this ‘large’ debris was surely spotted long enough ago that by now someone has a clue what it is?
Seems like every storm-washed container is enough to scramble the entire MSM on this, followed by a period of breathless anticipation that suggests the search & rescue efforts are being conducted by pedalo.

Derry woman left in bus lane calls for police officers to be sacked

Now have a look at the video, not only was miggins running around the street seconds before she was picked up by the fuzz, where she was deposited had a car in front of her and a car behind. Not exactly a death risk, unless of course she slipped on the pavement and sued the council for thousands (which funny enough is a huge money maker in NI)

But to the bbC this is a human rights crime and of course this woman is looking at a cash hand out (to spend on booze?) with the bBCs help.

Intensive care patient beaten by partner and sister as he lay semi-conscious in Altnagelvin Hospital, court told
The partner and sister of a man with serious head and spinal injuries have appeared in court charged with attacking him as he lay semi-conscious in bed in intensive care….District Judge Barney McElholm was told that during the attack at Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry on Saturday night, medical staff lay across the patient’s head in an attempt to protect him as his partner and sister punched and slapped him and tried to pull out medical drips attached to him.

Bridget Mongan (23), from Stanley’s Walk in Derry, and Eileen Stokes (29), from Mourne Park in Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone, are jointly charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent on Patrick Mongan last Saturday night.

They are further charged with assaulting two nurses and a doctor and with disorderly behaviour in the unit.

A police officer told Derry Magistrates Court that Stokes, who has 27 previous convictions, is Mr Mongan’s partner, and Mongan, who has 13 previous convictions,

Ooops, sorry… they have already sussed that one out.
Whilst funny, Guido’s little investigative summary* seems all too scarily like the descent into a real hell.
Skynet has sussed that repeating it often enough does work, especially when those that notice are on a wee political blogging site and those whose postal votes swing elections get the narrative morning to night via a £4Bpa PR propaganda machine.
      * A few fun comments there. I liked the ‘Lost in Space’ one. But there was also a great effort by the somewhat predictably-named, po-faced ‘Anon’, still trying to bolster Shouty’s ‘tell it often enough’ claims..

        Weird, eh?
I am indeed also a devotee of saying ‘it’ over and over again, yes. Repetition for effect and all that.
However, if invoking Mandy Rice Davies to say so, I do so on the basis of truth and accuracy.
The BBC who you seek to defend by the time honoured practice of the flattering name homage (makes a change from the Borg Box) and less flattering ad hom does of course do it too often via lie and professional compromise.
My contribution is also on a by choice basis, and roughly £4Bpa cheaper.

      Just watched it on iPlayer.
      Blimey.
That there is a lot of money for a premise designed to appeal to roughly 20,000 uniquely employed people, and make sense to maybe the same number again who have a passing interest in what they get up to with a force-extorted £4Bpa.
The other 69,960,000 possible viewers clearly deemed pretty superfluous.
Unquestionably high production values, and access to locations most would die for, but despite being perhaps more aware than some thanks in no small measure to this site, I’d be amazed if most of any public audience had a clue who was who and what was going on. Or cared.
All I came away with was an overwhelming sense of vast numbers of overpaid unpleasant corporate back-stabbers, idiots and yes-people in endless pointless meetings, doing little more than making the farcical tragic. All topped off by an invisible entity called ‘Tony’ so out of touch and astoundingly unpresent he may as well have been The Wizard of Oz.
      So… nailed it.
Not, I suspect, in the way actually envisaged or intended.

“But the problem with W1A is that unshakeable feeling that we are being taken for a ride.”

For the first time in months I caught a bit of the Jeremy Vine show, just the last 15 minutes and yes more pro immigration sob stories ….I remembered why I don’t listen anymore.

It was background on the Radio 4 series ‘Three Pounds In My Pocket’….. “Stories about the early arrivals in the 1950’s They recall their first impressions of the country that once ruled over their own, the shocking housing conditions, the curiosity of neighbours and also the memories of casual racism and animosity. These men led the way for the three million people of South Asian descent who live in Britain today”

….I know lets spent some more licence fee revenue on a series that only 5% of the population and the bleeding heart metrosexual liberals at the bBC would be interested in, seriously who else really cares? Why Radio 4 why not the Asian Network? Would they broadcast similar about the struggles of our indigenous ancestors? ….Thought not….

This up-dated, politically schitzophrenic piece censors out phrase ‘Islamic jihad’ from first part of this article describing actions of a murderous Muslim, who was partly based in Crawley.

Casciani is keen to put this Islamic jihad-appeasing line:-

“But the idea of a direct line – a thread linking al-Qaeda, the Syrian jihad and a threat to British national security, isn’t universally accepted.” -Of course, it’s not universally accepted, Casciani: there are millions of Muslims who won’t accept it. So what? That doesn’t mean that Islamic jihadists are not as much, if not more of a threat, in U.K now than there were at 7/7, 2005. To suggest otherwise, is to be appeasing.

    Anyone want to guess why?

bBC Points West (cue serious, concerned, shocked looks on presenters faces) reports on an attack by a woman on two muslim women in a Poundstrechers queue.

Sympathetic interview with women in profile only who are now too scared to go out and work, after what looks like just a slap (see where this is going?)

I in no way uphold what this woman did, but we only get to hear one side of the story, the side that the bBC of course never fail to question, sympathy, sympathy….

We’re told such attacks in Bristol are on the increase, yet last nights report on child trafficking we weren’t allowed to see the faces of the perpetrators or indeed told their ethnicities, more double standards from the INbBC…

It must have cost licence-payers a packet, and it wasn’t tax-free:-

‘TURKS & CAICOS’ the stilted play by David Hare (BBC 2 tonight), was unconvincing, poorly scripted, poorly acted, but expressed the politically ‘utopian’ leftist propaganda so endorsed by Beeboids.

Ostensibly set in a post 9/11 world, the enemy of the piece were not the Islamic jihadists, not at all; the enemy of the piece were the British and American authorities, so the message of the piece sits well with daily Beeboid propaganda on this. We can expect more commissions for Mr Hare from Beeboids.

British people’s BBC tax used to pay for programmes in Tamil in India.

Increasingly, British licence-payers’ money is being diverted by BBC away from being spent on programmes by and for British people in Britain, to be spent on BBC World Service, and on the BBC’s global broadcasting empire such as (to take one but small example)-

Not much else on so I watched Bluestone 42 (BBC3)
A government minster is paying a visit to the bomb disposal team in Afghanistan.
Mary (the padre).. “I’m not showing the minister around… Because if I have to look after him I’ll end up punching the Tory twat in his stupid Tory face… Bloody Tories, cutting benefits, cutting taxes for the rich, and cutting the Army.”
But of course, the minister is black, so Mary goes all gooey and girlie over him.
    It’s relentless isn’t it?
