Right Thinking Muslims

‘Right Thinking Muslims’   What are they?  Who are they?  What do they think?

I don’t know,  but Nicky Campbell and all those BBC presenters who  use the phrase obviously do…perhaps it is similar to the ‘Right Thinking Tory’ who has dumped all his principles in favour of a ‘Good Press’ from the BBC.

I seem to know what a ‘Right Thinking Muslim’ isn’t….he isn’t someone who adheres to the teachings of the Qu’ran.

How do I know that?  I have been lectured for two days by the BBC, by politicians and by Muslim commentators and by the naive ….who all told me that the views expressed by the killers did not have any basis in Islam.

In 2006 John Humphrys admitted that:

‘The vast majority of terrorist attacks have been carried out by Muslims in the name of Islam.’

He went on to say that one in four Muslims in Britain, according to an NOP poll,  said the 7/7  attacks were justified by Britain’s support for the War in Iraq.

How times, and opinions change.

Cameron said this:

This was not just an attack on Britain and the British way of life, it was a betrayal of Islam and the Muslim communities. There is nothing in Islam that justifies this truly dreadful act.’

The Qu’ran commands:

‘Fight for the sake of God those who fight against you, but do not attack them first.  God does not love aggressors.

Slay them wherever you find them. Drive them out of the place from which they drove you.

Fight against them until idolatory is no more and God’s religion rules supreme.

Fighting is obligatory for you much though you dislike it.’

The Qu’ran demands that Muslims fight in defence of Islam and Islamic lands.

It is unequivocal, unmistakeable, immutable.

If non-Muslim armies are fighting in Muslim lands, killing Muslims, then Muslims not only are entitled to take up arms but are obliged to do so.

If David Cameron respects Islam then he must respect the Qu’ran and its revelations, all of them….it would be a charade to say he respects Islam but declare that the beliefs and values expressed in the Qu’ran are in some way a ‘perversion’….which is what he has in fact done.

However confidence in that line of thinking seems low as The Great and The Good want to keep the terrorists ideas and ideology out of sight and out of mind…..perhaps they  think it is in fact all too believable, all too attractive to impressionable young minds set on adventure and excitement all tied in with the romance of  Jihad, serving God as well as their ‘People’, battling the Corrupt Tyrants?

Baroness Warsi has expressed outrage that the Media have given airtime to extremists.

‘Baroness Warsi said: “We all have a responsibility, including the media, not to give airtime to extremist voices – idiots and nutters who speak for no one but themselves.’

Is that true?  Is it not better to have these ‘nutters and idiots’ on air, in a controled environment being questioned about their beliefs, being made to outline, explain and justify their claims….with the intention of disproving them and taking away any credibility they might have.

Is Warsi afraid that their claims might just be ‘right’ in an Islamic sense?

In 2006 John Humphrys had a famous encounter with Trevor Brooks, renamed Abu Izzadeen, but I’ll call him Trevor as Cameron, Pickles and Warsi have determined he isn’t a ‘proper Muslim’…or should that be a ‘Right Thinking Muslim’?

The BBC agonised over whether to allow him on air….Smelling The Coffee.‘there was an editorial judgement to be made both about whether he should appear in the first place, and if so where in the programme….There is a powerful argument to be made that presenting the most extreme voices on air actually damages the process of integrating the Muslim community into the fight against terrorism. The BBC has a duty to balance voices, and to present a representative range of views from within communities.’

Trevor is a very persuasive and powerful speaker who doesn’t back down…he expressed views clearly and logically and outlined his beliefs and how they were defined by Islam.

John Humphrys struggled because he didn’t know enough about Islam, he didn’t know that Trevor was so confident because he was right…he was that ‘Right Thinking Muslim’….in an Islamic sense…though not perhaps in a Christian politician’s sense, the prism through which Cameron views Trevor and his ilk.

Ironically,  John Humphrys in the end resorted to shouting a metaphorical ‘Why don’t you go back home’ to young Trevor who had reduced him to an inarticulate, angry but well dressed and well paid putative EDL member.

As the Telegraph said:  ‘ It is difficult to deal with someone when there is no common ground on the basic principles of justice – as John Humphrys discovered.’

Passing the ammunition

Humphrys was hung by his own petard  and his own anti-war feelings…and of course Andrew Gilligan’s desire for a scoop.  Their claims about the creation of the Iraq War Dossier leant ample justification to any Muslim that wanted it to claim this war was illegal, immoral and was clearly against Muslims…therefore he would be justified in defending those Muslims attacked by ‘The West’.

Politicians have never of course been entirely trusted, along with journalists, but Andrew Gilligan in ‘The Reunion…The Hutton Inquiry’, boasted that the result of his work was that the relationship, the trust, between politicians and the Public had been destroyed…and, rather pleased with himself and his interview, he said that he had played his part in that.

Yes, he did…his false reports meant that the whole tone of the war and subsequent counter insurgency was set against a backdrop of distrust and disillusion from the public which restrained the politicians and the Army from putting in the necessary resources to carry on the fight effectively with minimal casualties and in the fastest possible time.

The second effect was to spur on the Jihadis, to justify their beliefs, endorsing their claims…the ripples from that interview still resonate today as we have just seen on the streets of Woolwich.

You could say this is chickens coming home to roost….the BBC et al have been attacking the ‘War on terror’ since it’s inception and have denounced it as illegal, Iraq being justified by a ‘Dodgy Dossier’ sexed up by war mongering politicians….they have given every justification for Muslims to believe that the war is wrong, illegal and immoral…a war against Islam…and that they should do something about that.

The BBC et al have attacked the West for its involvement in the Middle East, its support for the Dictators, its creation of Israel, Guantanamo Bay, rendition, arresting too many Muslim ‘suspects’.

The BBC et al have long supported the ‘Muslim grievance industry’ repeatedly supporting clams of discrimination, poverty, Islamophobia and mistreatment.

The BBC et al have fed the beast that is now going to consume them.  Us.

The BBC et al have passed them the ammuniton and now some Muslims are out to praise the Lord.

But no one wants to admit that, no one wants to take responsibility for having to act.

Sit tight and wait it out

Why does Cameron and Co make such claims about Islam?  They have a cunning plan…sit tight and hope it all blows over.

‘Government is likely to discover that the principles of the criminal law and the requirements of national security run straight into each other. If so, it will not be the first time that ministers have been reminded that the criminal law is not designed to deal with terrorists who want to replace democracy with Sharia law.’

They had three choices…surrender to the demands and change foreign policy…they obviously can’t do that.

or…to admit these acts , if not the method, are done in the name of Islam,  are truly sanctioned by the Qu’ran….but then what?  How do they deal with that..tear down the Mosques, burn  every Qu’ran, deport every Muslim?  Not going to happen.

or…the last…and only…choice…do nothing.  Accept the hits, accept that they are going to get terrorist strikes and mass civilian deaths perhaps but carry on regardless whilst turning a blind eye to the causes in the belief that any cure might be worse than the illness.

The BBC’s own rules

It is unfortunate for them that the BBC hasn’t read the script…it is still feeding into the narrative that ‘foreign policy’ must be changed before peace reigns once more…and thereby underpinning the jihadist recruiter’s efforts.

Only yesterday we had supposedly moderate Muslims, one after the other, filling the airwaves with their assurances that this wasn’t in the name of Islam…but they then say…what drives radicalisation is foreign policy….er….in Muslim lands, which upsets Muslims here..because the Qu’ran demands they protect the, em,  Ummah against attack.

If the BBC are going to bury the truth about Islam, along with the government, then they need to do all they can to combat the narrative about foreign policy, they cannot allow that to continue to catch hold  of the imaginations of a whole new batch of devout recruits for the Jihad..

I understand that 2 EDL members have been arrested for anti Muslim comments on Facebook….

Not a fan of the EDL, but Muslims can demand be-headings all around for a cartoon, or riot for 5 days running in Sweden (not seen much on the news about the Muslim riots on the BBC.. strange that)… and no arrests

Such a compliant restrained response for our country, to be much commended.

Now it is true that some Muslims are peacable enough. Yet it has to borne in mind that some very peaceful Muslims, to the utter “surprise” and “shock” of their friends and family, have become shaheeds.

This ongoing discussion since 9/11 on the existence moderate Islam or Muslims, as opposed to just Islam and Muslims, is predicated on the belief, or fervent hope, that moderate Muslims will somehow be able to civilise Islam, such that it no longer poses an existential threat to us. There seems to be no end to this debate. Let us therefore consider two scenarios where moderate Islam does actually exist, and there are sufficient numbers of Muslims to show this to be the case.

Case 1. Let us consider the situation that moderate Muslims prove that the correct interpretation of Islam was the moderate one (whatever that is). They even go further and make the changes in their teachings of the Koran and the Jihad. Such an outcome would no doubt come as a great relief to all. But I counter that all such changes were being done merely to protect the ummah while it grows at ever-increasing pace in the West. Once a near majority is achieved, that future generation of Muslims will simply revoke any changes and return to the traditions of the Koran. They will even praise this generation of Muslims for having done what was necessary to protect Islam.

The larger the number of Muslims, moderate or radical, the greater will be the demands for Sharia, and politicians will rush to accommodate that demographic. The distinction between moderate Muslims and radical Muslims is therefore meaningless; it is of no help to us.

Case 2. Let us suppose that moderate Muslims came out of hiding and utterly trounce their Jihadi cousins on what constitutes “true” Islam i.e., the moderate, non-violent one. Having got rid of “radical” Islam’s main reasons for waging Jihad would not be the end of the matter. Moderate Muslims will demand their price for having kept Jihad, the fundamental directive of Islam, at bay. That price will again be the implementation of Sharia, initially for Muslims anyway. This will come about since moderate Muslims have not abandoned Islam, but are still dutiful Muslims (we will end up with a kind of permanent social coalition government of non-Muslims and moderate Muslims). Even if we agree to this, the “radicals” will still be out there, and amongst us. To keep them at bay, moderate Muslims will be forced to make ever-increasing demands for greater Islamisation. “Good cop bad cop” scenarios come to mind. It will never end.

In effect moderate and radical Muslims work together. There is no actual treaty as such; it is simply understood.

I actually attempted to get on the so called “debate” with a “right thinking muslim” this week, with Campbell and his “doctored” 5live phone in
how doctored? well when I actually called in, & was given the third degree, about what i wanted to say?, how was i going to say it?, who to, ya da ya da. …
so literally it was a waste of time, there was no interest in cogent questions, on the real issue.

oh, the questions i wanted to raise?
Muslim groups have tried to distance themselves from this …. why don t they distance themselves permanently, from the multitude of instructions, that would be islamic mass murderers both use and quote as justification from their own book. as that is undeniably the root, of the issue? …

      I added
1/. if they wanted me to quote chapter and verse i could, and i was willing to debate that cogent issue with any muslim group on air,( as i have with the mpac/mcb before) …
I was really kind of hoping that … Ibrahim “all go to your local mosque and show them love” Mogra …
would be on … well he wasn t, and they really made sure i wasn t either.
2/. I also added, that if muslim groups are not serious about this issue, then they are not serious about preventing the consequences of ignoring that fact, the root of the problem.

. . . and a part of the “denial – do nothing” process is to direct the narrative to imply that the security services are really to blame for this. Trying to recruit one of the perps (news picked up from a “hitherto reliable” tweeter and gleefully relayed by Frank Gardner on BBC News tonight) is one strike against the security services. Knowledge that this perp was known to those services as one of thousands of Moslem nutters is another strike against them. I wouldn’t be surprised if tomorrow John Humphrys informs us that “some believe” that the murder plot was actually hatched by MI5 and that the perps were poor deluded souls forced into crime due to desperation caused by the cutz.
Whatever, the BBC is in full diversion mode: blameless Islam, incompetent security services, dilatory police, EDL “sponsored” damage to mosques and so on and so forth. I can’t wait for the results of the inquiry (if there is one). As with the inquiry into the 2011 riots, what’s the betting it’s our fault? And by “our” I mean the tax-paying, law-abiding, hard-working indigenous mugs who have been lied to for the last 70 years concerning the benefits of third-world immigration . . and a lot else besides.

We can`t win, nor can the police, the Army or the security services.

I’m sure Andrew Giligan will be surprised to learn his report on Today spurred on the Jihadis, justified their beliefs, and endorsed their claims…or was partly responsible for what happened in Woolwich. All this from saying a source told him the govenment was aware some of the dossier wasn’t accurate. Wow.

Oh no, they are watching for racist or anti-“ the special” -religion comments. That is why they have not been along to nit-pick. They would not want to be a commenter on a site they want to report to plod. Remember they do not like free speech, it is not allowed in this country anymore, well not unless you are a supporter of “the special” religion.

However may I quote The Bard of Avon, his words seem a little more than apt at the moment.

    Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man
    As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
    Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
    Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage;
    Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o’erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O’erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill’d with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call’d fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
    That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game’s afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry ‘God for Harry, England, and Saint George!’

Today Shakespeare would be visited by plod and then re-educated in the ways of the religion of peace.

  14. Teddy Bear says:

Listening to Nick Ferrari on LBC this morning, he had a Muslim caller – Jordan, who was trying to convince listeners of the rectitude of those who committed the vile murder of Lee. Another Muslim, a woman, argued with him about how disgusting his thinking was, and how he should understand the Koran.

What became clear was the psychological trait of this Jordan. He like many other Muslims we know exist around the world, have had the koran interpreted for them that relieves them of any self control.

Imagine if you were told that you had the right to murder or torture anybody and everybody that you disagreed with. You didn’t have to develop any sense of perspective, of seeing a world where people come from different backgrounds and view the world in a completely different light to oneself.

Instead you are told that the way YOU see the world and feel others is the one and true way, and that all others must conform to your way or be destroyed. Easy to see how one can be brainwashed to believe it, particularly a man.

It’s time the texts in the Koran that do make it easy for these types to be brainwashed this way were brought out into the open. It’s not enough for the ‘moderates’ to keep repeating that Islam is about love and peace when there are texts that exhort its followers to go down a different track where they can lie, steal, cheat, deceive, torture, and murder and feel justified.

Then we might have some more right thinking Muslims.

I’m sorry, i’ve thought about this long and hard but quite frankly i’ve come to boiling point. There is no such thing as a moderate muslim. You either devote your life to Islam or you don’t. As someone has previously stated, there weren’t two types of Nazis. The same principle has to be applied here. And as for the Muslim representatives that have been littered all over media sources the past few days, i can’t comprehend how angry that has left me. Their puerile attempt at distancing themselves from the attackers and victimized way of thinking is nothing short of disgraceful. I even heard one Representative stating how this could severely impact on the Muslim community and how it could lead to them living in fear. There’s a common trait among the representatives and how they present themselves: a swift recognition of the soldier that was killed due to THEIR religious beliefs, and then revert back to the victimized status and how it will damage relationships in the community. Unbelievable!

If I hear another moron like Clegg quote Surah 5.32 as if it`s the Muslim version of the Sermon on the Mount, I`ll have to write a stiff letter to Anjem Choudhury on blagged BBC headed notepaper.
Just because the Moron In Chief over in Washington quotes it as if its a keycard out of their brothel, it`s not as if Clegg and the BBC elite have to do the same…oh, wait…
But I digress-that line of Cleggs strangles them, but they`ll be too thick to notice yet.
      1. It was written in the context of Cain and Abel..that Jewish story, blagged just for the purpose( Islam is as unoriginal as that).
      2. It is written as a warning to any Jews holding out against being taken over by Muhammad…it is NOT intended as any kind of restraining order on the Muslim. It`s for the Jews(Children of Israel-for that word Jew won`t be the one they`d ever use in their own Book these days)-it is NOt for the Muslim…but what is?
Read on…Surah 5.33 tells you of the crucifixions, the lashings, the murder of those who hold out or are against Islam.
This was my Anjem Choudhury tribute act…that Book of theirs is vile in this case, but -as ever-Clegg, Obama and Co do their selective editing and rip the context out of what Islam actually says.
Now then-let`s ask Imam Cameron-al Borisi to confirm this…he`s bound to elucidate.
The liberal elite/BBC-providing thought -free lazy reflex solutions to the nation since 1979.
Oh dear-the solutions bit is in a pickle is it not?

How refreshing it is to come here and find an island of sanity within an ocean of idiocy.

What has shocked me the most is how quickly the MSM and particularly the BBC have propagated the new by-line into the minds of the stupid that excuses these murdering savages:

“This is nothing to do with Islam.”

Which is of course the BBC shifting the moral goalposts to keep up with their amoral pet religion until logic itself is twisted beyond recognition. But how quickly the corn fed public have taken this to heart is frightening.

David Brims is completely right and much needs to be made of Taqiyya which summed up by the Religion of Peace states simply:-

“Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them.”

So out of total respect to the Muslim faith, I always assume every Muslim I meet to be a liar. Fortunately the only time I meet them are climbing in and out of their taxi cabs.

By the way, isn’t the ‘Right Thinking Muslim’ argument just a variation of the

For what it’s worth I’ve chucked my onto the fire but there’s no saving the lazy minds of the ignorant public. Somewhere in the future there will probably be an Islamic crane arm with their name on it courtesy of their utter stupidity and gullibility. It does worry me that many on here, myself included, have over the years been calling for moderate Muslims to condemn terrorism carried out in their name.

Now some have been doing so, there are some who claim that these people are only using Taqiyya. Others who have complained that these people are given air time.

I’m pleased that there have been some who have unreservedly condemned the murder, and hope that these voices get louder until the Muslim Community sorts out their problem for the benefit of all.

      Good point.

I think the problem we are facing however, is that, unlike the Troubles in Northern Ireland, Muslim violence is worldwide, apparently driven by Saudi money promoting the Salafi and Wahhabi movements.

The murder of Lee Rigby has had a major impact in the UK and it may well be true that many UK Muslims are having second thoughts about some of the more extreme aspects of their religion. I doubt, however, whether this effect will cross the Channel or the North Sea, let alone reach Pakistan or Saudi Arabia.

Good point dem, but unreserved condemnation should come with recognition that many ‘Muslim leaders’ discourage cooperation with the Police to defeat terrorism. If ‘unreserved condemnation’ is accompanied by unequivocal calls for all Muslims to do as much as they can to help the security services, then I would be less suspicious of Taqqiyah.

As it is, when comments are then followed up by ‘you’re to blame for your foreign policy’, we know their just doing a black propaganda job, and the BBC of course lap it up.

An excellent point well made, but the issue of Taqiyya is impossible to work around: I too hope that those voices get louder, but if and when they do, can I believe that they are genuine, or am I being subjected to Taqiyya?
That’s an underlying, and overwhelming, issue that they have to find a way to deal with.

If I recall correctly the response to CH4 ‘Undercover Mosque’ was not to shut down the hate preachers who so many Muslims listened to (they were filmed). No, the response was to send in the police against CH4 to stop non-Muslims seeing what was going on!

So-called moderate Muslims have played their part in hiding and supporting Islamic behaviour we would find questionable.

        • Derek says:

It’s the same with the current crop of left-wing politicians *cough Cameron cough*, the Left dominated MSM, and the Social Services – all of them trying to stop us finding out what’s going on, but none of them doing anything to stop the Islamic criminal tide.

Proper no-nonsense Police action and honest reporting on the earliest revelations of Islamic controlled sex-slavery would have stemmed that tide, and have vastly reduced the number of victims.

All too late the Times (to their credit) did carry some reports, and I think it was the Keighly MP (Lab) who tried to draw attention to these crimes (she has been retired, natch). The fix was already in from the top all the way down to the Police and the Social Services to ‘maintain community cohesion’, and so sacrifice more young girls to Islamic gangs.

Action against the sex-slave gangs only started after the EDL showed they were going to keep on marching and protesting.

Such inaction and lack of reporting kept the ‘moderate’ (hah!) Muslims happy. They have played their part in first subverting and then approving the perverted actions of our public institutions.

(This has been helped all along by the proliferation of Lefties in search of a cause, risk-free for them but hard on the ‘proles’ to induce PC-conformity, to prove to themselves that the Left are somehow superior to ordinary people. Very Hitleresque!)

The BBC is the epitome of this betrayal of our civilisation, and like most betrayers they try to pretend that they are the more noble (while paying themselves oodles more money to ease their ‘suffering’, like so many other ‘superior’ socialists.)

Do any of them have any kind of program to teach young Muslims why they should reject the understanding of Islam that the jihadist enunciated yesterday? Why, no, they do not. No one, however, seems to notice or care.”

It doesn`t take too much research to see who this (hitherto-unknown/irrelevant) group are-and what they WOULD say about any “anti-Muslim backlash”.
    1. Top to toe Guardian, HuffPo, largely Muslim individuals ,well in with Labou/LibDem Councils(Haringay?…Oxford?) who have been well-plumped by the EU and the likes of Hazel Blears and Charles Kennedy. OBEs abound after their “efforts to reduce social tensions after 7/7″…how did THAT turn out then “gyzangals”?
    2. No definition of what anti-Muslim crimes are…does graffiti on a mosque equate with halal butchery of a serving soldier whilst defenceless? Stupid question-it`s a hate crime,so Stuart Al-Hall can play the “Racial Hurt” joker, and Muslims win as the bigger victims…aren`t they always?
    3. No facts and figures whatsoever to back this-this will be a phone call/email between the BBC/Guardian and “Faith Matters” last night…for a lazy fear-filled digest for Evan Davis, to prevent the BNP/EDL…or indeed ANYBODY…from raising the issue of Sura 9 as quoted by our Nigerian, enraged at the lack of Routemaster buses in SE London(bloody Boris eh?)

This deserves a taking apart by Justin Welby or “More Or Less”…but they won`t.

Does the BBC or Faith Matters know whether or not there has been a significant spike in the number of racist murders that have occurred in( to keep it simple enough for them) the South East…London…South East London?
It`s just that I`d like to know, it being the BBC an` all…
I hereby reckon that Muslim blokes under 30 should not be able to drive until they have all been retested…if that alone prevents one more innocent victim being killed…then , hey, I make no apology.

Or would that be “random, senseless and completely unknown” as well?

Look folks…Milltown Cemetery March 19th 1988…M62 bus bomb of military in the 70s…we gave the IRA all that they wanted, and these Muslims seem to be getting some parallels from how we caved in in 1998.
When the BBC tell me that charging a bloke for killing soldiers and horses in Hype Park 1982 as “vindictive”…24 hours before the Woolwich atrocity happens…there`s some history to draw from perhaps?
Any chance of renaming John Wilson Road…Lee Rigby Road?…and let our kids ask what happened there…they`re going to know THEIR history too, at this rate.

  29. Teddy Bear says:

I think it’s a good idea to really have a good look at the differences among Muslims, and NOT lump them all together. It may be simpler for some to do that, but by doing so then we are guilty of a similar perspective as many of them.

Better to define how to tell the difference between them to avoid persecuting the wrong people

    1. Without a doubt there are those Muslims who live within the faith and are integrated fairly harmoniously within our society. – NO PROBLEM. Anybody who listens to this Imam on the Jeremy Vine show last week, can detect how frank and genuine is his viewpoint and comments. I only wish that those responsible to protect and inform our society were as honest as he is.

    2. Listening to the last 15 minutes of Any Answers today, which I notice was handed by Jonathan Dimbleby, the usual presenter, to Anita Anand, they had a Muslim woman who first denounced the actions of the scum that had murdered Lee Rigby, and saying they had nothing to do with true Islam.

    Fine – so far.

Then when she was asked why did she think they did what they did, she replied along the lines that the ‘UK should examine its foreign policy of murdering hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan’, and providing arms to many dubious regimes. ::)

So presumably she would be considered a moderate Muslim. They denounce the murderers, but still believe they might be justified.

While she may not actually commit any crimes directly against our society, her viewpoint is NOT integrated, and quite likely that she would influence those who would act against us.

Conclusion: No attempt at Taqiyya, but not a MODERATE Muslim.

    3. Those Muslims who will say whatever they perceive the listener wants to hear, if they feel it will be to their long term advantage.

An example is Omar Bakri Mohammed. He first appears on the BBC website as a ‘Syrian-born activist’, in the article on 14/10/2000 he made this statement:

“A Syrian-born activist has called for Muslims in Britain to join a holy war against Israel following the outbreak of violence between Palestinians and Israelis in the Middle East.
Sheik Omar Bakri Mohammed said it was the duty of all Muslims to give support to the Palestinians.
“They are obliged to support their Muslim brothers in Palestine by raising funds, giving them complete moral support and even some of them going abroad to be joined with their Muslim brothers fighting against Israel,” he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. “

Just over a year later, on 7/1/2002 the BBC now refer to him as ‘A radical Muslim cleric’ and quote him as saying

‘….But Mr Bakri Mohammed, a spokesman for the al-Muhajiroun group, said …”We are an ideological, political party. We do not recruit people to go and fight on behalf of anybody or to indulge in any military activities.”

Most here won’t be surprised that the BBC doesn’t challenge him on this, or even let on if they know this an outright lie, and are quite content to further his jihad until he eventually flees the country to avoid prosecution.

Point is it’s usually a simple matter in today’s age of the internet to see what a particular Muslim leader has said on previous occasions to know just who is who. Are they consistent in their messages, or twist them to suit the occasion?

    4. The outright self declared jihadist, like I described above featuring on the Nick Ferrari show yesterday. Those that want to inspire and feel the fear of those around him/her as a delusional mark of respect. Clearly recognisable!

It should be possible, and fairly easy, to detect the first kind of Muslim from the rest. A few questions, while watching the response and body language of the subject will usually give a good idea of who they really are.
Truth tellers that can observe their subject can normally tell in an instant if they are being lied to or deceived, no matter who it is that is lying. Liars can never understand how that is possible. Over the web we rely on the kind of statements being made, and the consistency in the message being conveyed, to ascertain the veracity.

It’s important that we make every effort to do so so as not to lump all together, otherwise we lose any moral high ground.

The problem with this argument for many, Teddy, beings at your conclusion after #2. Dez crystalized this for me a while back when I asked him why Osama Bin Laden wanted to destroy the US. He replied snidely that he could think of all kinds of reasons people in general didn’t like US foreign policy. In other words, because many people oppose the interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan for their own anti-US, Left-wing (or Right-wing) reasons, they project that onto and end up, inadvertently or not, sympathizing with the Islamic terrorists who do these things. Because they share a common enemy, they assume (or just pretend for contrarian purposes) that their thought processes have something in common as well.

They don’t, of course. The reasons for being angry at the US and UK foreign policies are entirely different, inspired by entirely different things, based on entirely different sets of logic. But those at the BBC and on the Left won’t agree with you on the “not a MODERATE Muslim” bit, because they sympathize with the opposition to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s why the Beeboids and the wet politicians and defenders of the indefensible hate it when someone tries to say the murderers are inspired by their religion.

Until we get the Jonathan Dimblebys of the world to separate the two different anti-US/UK foreign policy ideologies from each other, the debate can make no further progress.

I’d be really worried if the BBC or those ‘on the left’ would agree with me. 😉

My point is for us here to begin to exercise better discernment when referring to Muslims. In this way we will also attract more respect from the intelligentsia.

I also believe that when we have the right way of thinking about this laid out, it will put more pressure on the lefties to address it, rather than the present confused goulash that creates the frustration unfairly towards ALL Muslims.

        • David Preiser (USA) says:

I understand that. I just meant that you won’t get that respect from the intelligentsia until they’re able to separate their own reasons for opposing US/UK foreign policy from those of the woman in your second example. I believe that discussion needs to be had first before we can move on to debating the rest of it.

As far as our own purposes are concerned, do we need to agree about the justifications or rights and wrongs for existing US/UK policies, or what SHOULD be the right way of dealing with it if one doesn’t agree with any of them?

Johnny describes very well the hypocrisy of Muslims claiming their terrorist actions are a response to our policies. We can see it’s bullshit and know it’s a cover for something else – (Taqiyya)

It’s not entirely BS, though. The BS comes from those who are also against the policies, but for different reasons. There’s also the desire for global shariah and the ummah and all that, sure. But the objection to the policies is based on religious reasons and not the political ones defenders of the indefensible and the BBC keep giving.

The barbarians in Woolwich didn’t kill that soldier because they want Shariah law in Britain or world domination. Even if they do want that, it’s not the specific reason behind this particular action.

Saying that they’re opposed to the policies does not justify their actions if we understand that their reasons are wrong. That’s where the Beeboids and defenders of the indefensible fail, and it seems to be where we’re at cross purposes here.

Reading this, I don’t see we’re at cross purposes at all.

I also agree with you that these murderers weren’t necessarily aware of any deeper long range plans by the Islamist elite who promote these kind of actions, any more than soldiers anywhere are necessarily fully aware of the government strategy that puts them in a particular place.

Islamists will jump on every excuse we give them to justify their actions. WE DON’T need to debate whether those excuses are the real reason because we know they’re BS.

Yesterday we read the BBC giving plenty of reasons and excuses for these Muslims ‘immigrants’ to riot in Sweden. We can also see in this article from another source where because of the ongoing problem they are having to look at the real and underlying reasons for this behaviour.

                That’s what I’m talking about.

One huge reason why the ‘intelligentsia’ are willing to act as a propaganda adjunct for the enemy in this war is because they fear – ahem – ‘consequences’.

We should ensure they have a far greater fear of the consequences of their Treason.

      Thought-provoking summary, TB.

‘Then when she was asked why did she think they did what they did, she replied along the lines that the ‘UK should examine its foreign policy of murdering hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan’.

The problem here is she sees herself first and foremost as a Muslim; second as a Pakistani/of Pakistani origin (or of whatever country) and lastly, if at all, a British citizen. In other words, she is living the multicultural dream. Not that I’d expect the BBC to challenge this stance, because it is so plainly theirs too.

‘They are obliged to support their Muslim brothers in Palestine…’

This is the one that really mystifies me. If they are all ‘brothers’, why do they kill each other in far bigger numbers than the West has ever done? Or are they only ever ‘brothers’ when it suits their agenda? Again, don’t expect the BBC to let rip with their famed world’s greatest investigative journalism on this little riddle-me-ree.

I would expect that a year or so down the line nothing will have changed – anti-western hatred will still be being preached in mosques, Islamist speakers will still be spewing their murderous bile in our universities (to segregated audiences – it’s a cultural thing, doncha know), sharia law will continue to spread and multiculturalist segregation of our ‘communities’ will still be thriving. God forbid that further terrorist acts occur, followed by the predictable complacent reactions of our politicians and esteemed national broadcaster.

        Thanks Johnny.

What I see you are relating is the very key to our being able to differentiate between them.
They can be as inconsistent, ignorant, hypocritical and illogical as they are, makes them all the easier to recognise, and categorise.

When I read this article today, I have no idea what the stance was previously by this newspaper towards immigrants in Sweden, but it appears as a situation becomes more serious, and solutions have to be found, then the scrutiny becomes more focussed and real.

I believe it will happen here too – human nature on all sides will make sure of it.

I was actually amazed listening to the final 15 minutes of Any Answers today, at how many callers were aired who were very critical of Muslims. Not something that the BBC usually airs, but ‘Times They Are a’Changing’.

Now begins the crushing of all dissent in England. This is just an excuse. The liberal ascendancy has been wanting to do this for a long time over many things not just criticism of Islam. Now they have a reason. We have not been in such peril since the 17th century.

I mentioned little Hazel Blears in a previous post.
But never thought we`d be hearing from Little Miss Sunshine again after fleecing us all for £13,500 with her expenses…and then whipping out her chequebook in Salford to crack a cheque off before the cameras.
    A sleazy hypocrite.
Yet here she is tonight in the Observer…yes, folks its the Tory cuts that caused Woolwich.
New Labour were buying Choudhury off nicely, but then the Tories came along and sent a squaddie to his senseless death.
What`s the betting that wee Hazel in her biker leathers and sunny Salford accent will be required viewing over the BBC outlets all weekend now?…and will be in the Guardian and nicely primed for the Today show as I type?
    Shameless?…not even close.
Step over the body and make a political point?…True Labour!

Spot on, ChrisH, it’s funny how these socialist heads suddenly pop up again from nowhere and before you can say ‘vulnerable minorities’ they’re all over the BBC and its associated leftist publications like the pox.

A for Blears, she typifies the one word I’d choose to sum up New Labour: shameless.

And right on cue, there she was on this morning’s Today, telling us how brilliant Labour’s ‘Prevent Strategy’ was and how the Tories have screwed it up – oh, and how none of the money EVER got into the hands of extremist groups (totally unchallenged by Davis, of course – another on for the ‘cosy chat’ archive).

We know we’re in trouble when it takes a Muslim to state those things that should be coming from from our government and information services.

This excerpt from his article in The Guardian of all places (hat-tip Melanie Phillips)

    Usama Hasan has written:

‘British society, including its Muslim communities, needs to move beyond the routine condemnation of terrorist attacks and plots – there have been dozens since 9/11. We need instead to address the extreme Islamist ideology that al-Qaida and its sympathisers promote to incite attacks against soldiers and civilians worldwide in both war-torn and peaceful countries. Muslim leaders need to take ownership of the specifically religious aspects of the problem, that is to say the twisted theology that easily brainwashes vulnerable people, some of whom are intelligent university students and graduates.’

Another excellent observation and one worth considering is in this article:
Does welfare cause terrorism, Part XVIII …
    Mickey Kaus
Hostage to news cycle: How long before we find out that “alleged” Woolwich murderer Michael Adebolajo was on some kind of welfare? Or else his household was on welfare. The Tsarnaevs received various kinds of welfare too, of course, as have numerous other terrorists. This is not a coincidence:

“In fact, there’s a good argument that “welfare benefits + ethnic antagonism” is the universal recipe for an underclass with an angry, oppositional culture. The social logic is simple: Ethnic differences make it easy for those outside of, for example, French Arab neighborhoods to discriminate against those inside, and easy for those inside to resent the mainstream culture around them. [Update: See also, Sweden.] Meanwhile, relatively generous welfare benefits enable those in the ethnic ghetto to stay there, stay unemployed, and seethe. Without government subsidies, they would have to overcome the prejudice against them and integrate into the mainstream working culture. Work, in this sense, is anti-terrorist medicine. (And if you work all day, there’s less time to dream up ways and reasons to kill infidels.)”

If Adebolajo turns out to have earned his own living, I’ll be surprised and chastened. Will post update in this space. …

Unfortunately for Clegg, Cameron, Pickles and Obama-this Michael Murderer IS the “right -thinking Muslim”-not in terms of flabby western indifferences like them, but in terms of the House of Jihad; he moist certainlyis…and scholars will back him as they take their grants and sinecures from the flabby west.
For Clegg and Obama to quote Sura 5.33 was unforgiveable-for this Sura is aimed at Jews and Christians in the way of Muhammads army.
Funnily enough Sura 9(the one the bloody-handed psychopath quoted) is the one to be used when Muhammads army have to fight against backsliders or difficult people.
Neither applies to these political cretins and spiritual appeasers as named above.
To be fair to the Nigerian nutters and to Choudury…their evil comes out of a clear sky and I can prepare to fight back.
The quisling traitors like Obama and Cameron though?….we`ll have to get them out.
And at least Blair had read the Koran, and not taken a verse out of a Eid cracker like a fortune cookie motto as Clegg and Obama did.
None as blind who will not see-and who, instead, prefer to edit out the logic of the evil we`re now facing.
