WILD WILD WILD YOUTH….

Many years ago, I remember Billy Idol’s Generation X singing about “Wild Youth”. Wonder had he rioting French thugs in mind? I was listening to an item on Today this morning just before 7am concerning riots which have been taking place in various French cities. It seems that in Amiens, around 100 “youths” attacked police, including firing live bullets at them. Other cities like Toulouse and Marseilles seem to have been similarly affected over recent weeks with, yes, more “youths” seeking confrontation with the forces of law and order. The BBC conclude that this is an issue about crime.  Got that, crime? No other issues are involved, thank Allah.

They probably want more benefits because they are an ‘oppressed minority’.

bBC has been rushing to tell us it was sparked by an arrest for dangerous driving (shades of Tottenham and Mark Duggan narrative? Solution: stop all arrests of muslim youth, in case it sparks something?) All down to deprivation and hopelessness on the part of the North African underclass. More pop sociology for you. Profound bBC.

Anyone with a box of matches can set fire to cars – its standard behaviour on the part of some youth in the HLM ghettos. Delivers lots of “social collapse” photos for the handwringing press, and ups demand for more money for social workers.

    Standard BBC narrative.

Hi, a comment for contributors/administrators: can we have FEWER posts? I know there’s a lot going on but I like to read and post comments but very often find I come back next day and am left behind a trail of 4 or 5 or more posts daily. Hard to get a ‘conversation’ going. I know the BBC has multitude possibilities to be highlighting as bias but one or two a day is enough. Maybe have a contributors ‘multi-post’ where several examples of bias are in a single blog post?

I saw a BBC report referring to these violent arsonists as “protesters”

    I kid you not!

Protesters? I didn’t realize the new Socialist Government was raising tuition fees at the Sorbonne. Or is it against bankers’ bonuses? Against the ban on homosexual marriage, perhaps?

Of course riots in London can’t be about crime. They are about some social ill or police over-reaction or something.

To the Socialist mind only Society is responsible for things. People are basically good, but Society causes them to behave badly. It is the fault of the State not doing enough to help people live their lives, make sure they are not bored, have got the right advice. They have right to everything while contributing nothing, through no fault of their own of course. This couldn’t be to get votes, could it?

If it was not so dangerous for the French cities the BBC’s attitude would be a source of hilarity.
But there you go. No self deception is too great for a committed liberal (modern usage) .
The French riots are what we say they are not what they really are. Idiots.

“Muslims again riot in France, media again cover up their
    Muslim identity”

(Of course, INBBC is complicit in this cover-up.)

Multiculturalism is a wonderful thing. Just think years ago you had to watch stuff like this on the news from third world countries. Now it is on your doorstep. Can’t wait for this to happen in Islington to all our BBC/Guardian/ New labour friends.

I’m sure it was all to do with the lack of French Olympic medal success. First we stiff them, then we stuff them. How do we bumbling British fools manage it?

Anything on the ‘agenda setting’ TODAY about President Hollande’s graceless comments on a marvellously successful London Olympics?

What about someone British winning the tour de france. All the anger because of this must be one of main reasons for this happening.

How do all BBC employees feel about having to work in Salford? Not exactly one of this countries best urban areas. The coke and rentboys are no where as good as they are in London.
