GET CAMERON, GET MURDOCH

The BBC led assualt on the Government continues apace this morning. First up we have the screaming headline that Andy Coulson has been arrested and charged with perjury by Scotland’s finest. This is deemed the single most important story in the UK this morning (Oh really?) but I suppose we can all understand WHY the BBC is hyping it…

BBC chief political correspondent Norman Smith said: “Unlike the arrest of Mr Coulson last year by the London Metropolitan Police – which centred on claims about hacking during his time as editor of the News of the World – this arrest relates to a period when Mr Coulson was working as David Cameron’s director of communications.”

Precisely – get Cameron. And the second biggest story in the UK today? Why, Jeremy Hunt is going in front of the Leveson Star Chamber.

Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt is expected to defend his handling of News Corp’s attempt to take over broadcaster BSkyB when he appears at the Leveson Inquiry into media ethics later. Mr Hunt has denied the company had influence within his office.

Yes, he may “deny” it but the BBC know better, wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!

There is a real Jihad against the Cameron Conservatives, which at one level is utterly disgraceful when compared with the easy ride Labour was afforded over all those years but at another level is understandable given Cameron’s refusal to take on the BBC but rather try to appease them. Same with Hunt. He should have gone on the front foot against the BBC but instead ran around trying to be nice to them. They devour you either way and so I feel little sympathy for Cameron and co as today generates further GRIM  headlines.

According to the popular Egyptian website, El Bashayer, Muhammad Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood presidential candidate, just declared that he will “achieve the Islamic conquest (fath) of Egypt for the second time, and make all Christians convert to Islam, or else pay the jizya,” the additional Islamic tax, or financial tribute, required of non-Muslims, or financial tribute.

      http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/3083/egypt-christians-convert-pay-tribute-leave

If Israel decided that all non-Jews should convert and pay the “Jewsya”, I’m sure the BBC would run with it. Yet again, silence about the persecution of minorities in the middle East.

Hunt was even defending the BBC from the stand, (or the dock as the BBC incorrectly and misleadingly call it).

I have no sympathy for these Blairite, BBC loving, politically correct, green idiots who have hijacked the tory party.

Given that the BBC loved Blair so much, I am surprised that they give Cameron such a hard time, seeing that he is even more Blairite than Blair was. Perhaps the BBC are offended by his blasphemy at copying their Deity, Blair’s entire policy initiatives.

Towards the end of the discussion on Today between former lord chancellor Lord Falconer and former Conservative cabinet minister Lord Fowler, Fowler mentioned the involvement of the previous Labour administration with Murdoch etc. Naughtie immediately closed down the debate and rapidy introduced Rob Bonnet to cover today’s urgent sports news.
The bias is so blatant, it’s laughable. Well, it would be laughable if (on the evidence of his solicitude for St Vince, his irritated pomposity vis-a-vis Gove and his apparent determination to ignore the BBC’s less than impartial intervention from its DG re BSkyB) Leveson hadn’t already appeared to have made his mind up concerning state control (sorry, “regulation”) of the paper press.

Swimming against the tide here, I know, but if (and it’s very much if at the moment) someone in the employ of the Prime Minister perjures himself during a trial for perjury, it’s a big story. Not as big as the imminence of Spain needing a bailout, I’d grant, but certainly worthy of coverage given there was always a bad smell round Coulson and Cameron was warned beforehand.

Agreed insofar as Cameron should never have employed Coulson. In fact, there are a lot of appointments and policies too, which Cameron should not have done. And would not have done, if he were a real tory instead of an overt Blairite.

The gist of Michael Gove’s evidence to Leveson was “I know and like Rupert Murdoch, he is a man of very great achievement who has done wanders for the financial survival of the entire British press”.

The BBC certainly appear to have veered even further away from impartial reportage, and into the area of overt vendetta against a commercial rival, and any of their rival’s supporters.

Surely the BBC should preface every Leveson news report with a notice of their own deep vested interests regarding this story?

I would say his real crime, for Labour and hence the BBC, has been to support the Tories in the past and to dump Gibbo in 2008.

I detest Murdoch as much as he detests the English. He is as big a shit as anyone in the BBC, except, maybe, Comrade Paul Mason.

I hope this BBC led witch hunt destroys him personally and then rebounds on the BBC to finish them off too. Then maybe we’ll get a press worthy of our great nation.

Why was it necessary to send 7 policeman by people carrier all the way from Glasgow to bang on Coulson’s door at 6:30 AM This seems both operationally unnecessary and financially unjustified. Culson was not a flight risk, and he was reported to already be on police bail. Why could he not have reasonably been instructed to report under his own steam to Strathclyde Police HQ where he could have been formally interviewed and if necessary arrested. This smacks of theatrics. Why are our fearless media not asking some simple questions like …Who in Strathclyde Police ordered this approach be adopted and WHY ? Whose interests does this unnecessarily aggressive arrest strategy serve `? Did the Police consult with anyone before carrying out this seemingly inappropriate strategy ? In any democratic state, where the authorities act with undue and unnecessarily aggressive force without obvious justification, should not our fearless media be asking the obvious questions ?

It’s long been suspected that the higher management of the Strathclyde Police are in cahoots with the Scottish Labour Party. Remember their inaction over the criminal conduct of Glasgow Council leader Stephen Purcell? He was supposed to have been consorting with known drug dealers and criminal gang leaders, snorting coke in his council office and been involved with a number of dodgy deals.

What did the police do? Go and warn him of the information and complaints they were receiving about his conduct and advised him to keep a low profile. Result is he gets off scott free (excuse the pun).

Strathclyde police have also been allegedly involved in covering up a number of really sordid political scandals with the Labour McMafia.

It’s not beyond the realms of possibilty that Coulson’s arrest, on the eve of Hunt’s appearance before Leveson, was Scottish Labour inspired, especially as Murdoch seems to back the SNP and independence.

You must also bear in mind that there are 13 years worth of “establishment appointments” , Czars, heads of Quangos, commissioners for this and that, and various Lords, Dames and Ladies to call on. If all else fails, there is always the Blessed Shirley Williams, or Lord (I never really left Labour) Owen to call on.
