CLUTCHING AT STRAWS

Richard Black is back and our intrepid B-BBCcorrespondent Alan picks up on Black’s latest desperation…

“Richard Black reports on a reporter reporting on Climate Change…though he is a foreign affairs reporter in the main not an environmental one and definitely not a scientist….Nothing like using another reporter’s ‘views’ as back up for your own when you can’t get the science to add up…..but Black clearly likes the idea that climate change was the driving force behind the Arab Spring.

Thomas Friedman joins dots between the Arab Spring, water shortages and climate change http://t.co/zA3Xm77A

‘Climate change is the unseen player in the Arab Spring.

“Isn’t it interesting that the Arab awakening began in Tunisia with a fruit vendor who was harassed by police for not having a permit to sell food – just at the moment when world food prices hit record highs?’

We should listen to Friedman…everyone else does and modifies their policies accordingly…..says a friend of Friedman’s on Wikipedia…..

‘In February 2002, Friedman met Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah and personally encouraged him to make his comprehensive attempt to end the Arab-Israeli conflict by normalizing Arab relations with Israel in exchange for the return of refugees alongside an end to the Israel territorial occupations. Abdullah proposed the Arab Peace Initiative at the Beirut Summit that March, which Friedman has strongly supported since.

In May 2011, it was reported in The New York Times that President Obama”has sounded out” Friedman concerning Middle East issues.

Millions of muslim settlers many of whom had never lived in Israel having been born in surrounding muslim nations pouring into Israel and radically altering the balance in favour of muslims who would then form the majority in enough places to effectively destroy the state of Israel and then the persecution of Jews would begin.

Wow! What a tempting offer from the Arabs eh? Why would the Jews turn such a wonderful and generous offer I wonder? In fact the offer was that of handing a gun to an enemy and expecting them to shoot themselves.

That is what the offer is all about, to shift the population balance in favour of hate filled muslims in enough places and the Arabs have beaten the Jews and won their war of extermination. But dont expect the BBC to explain the real agenda.

Now that you mention it, Cassandra, I wonder if maybe some Beeboids would be more in favor of letting the planet heat up if Climate Change led to pushing the Jews into the sea…..

…perhaps they’re confused with the ‘spring’ bit and think it’s a resurgence of water.

I saw the Richard Black tweet, he’s clearly now scrapingnhard against the bottom of his barrell. In his mind everything is now clearly related to climate change, he reports and retweets every crackpot idea he finds. Utterly discredited idiot.

Ah that Arab Spring-Climate change link eh?
Marvellous extrapolation and worthy of the BBCs Greening Peter Agenda.
    Wasn`t 1976 hot then?…Olympic year!
And now there`s a threatened hosepipe ban for all but the Olympic family for this summer-another Olympic year.
We can`t take any chances with Mother Earth-no Olympics, until the link between hosepipe bans and Olympic years is proved NOT to exist.
If it saves just one natterjack toad…it will all have been worthwhile.
By the way-what is the defence for wasting all our precious water on filling swimming pools for Olympians-has the BBC given us the reason?
And I for one would not fancy having to get the drugs out of that water for Londoners later…if all the women haven`t beards and run like the wind afterwards, then I`ll be surprised.
In the meantime, I`ll buy in lots of burquas to cash in, should I prove to be correct!

    Emperor Penguins face extinction
Emperor penguins, whose long treks across Antarctic ice to mate have been immortalised by Hollywood, are heading towards extinction, scientists say.

Based on predictions of sea ice extent from climate change models, the penguins are likely to see their numbers plummet by 95% by 2100.

    BBC News 13th April 2012….

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17692025

    Emperor Panguins counted from space

Nearly twice as many emperor penguins inhabit Antarctica as was thought.

UK, US and Australian scientists used satellite technology to trace and count the iconic birds, finding them to number almost 600,000.

Their census technique relies in the first instance on locating individual colonies, which is done by looking for big brown patches of guano (penguin poo) on the white ice.

    – something smells fishy, that’s for sure….
