BIASED BBC APPEAL – UPDATE

Hi there folks. I wanted to update you on where we are with the appeal to get in the cash to be able to move Biased BBC onto its own dedicated server with the capacity to grow even further in the years ahead without fear or hindrance. In addition, we want to have a first class commenting system that is helpful to you when you seek to add your opinions.

I am delighted with the response which has exceeded all expectations and which has been quite quite frankly overwhelming. This means we can now proceed to do all the things we want, including a site revamp. Please send NO MORE money – you have done enough.

What is so striking to me is the sheer number of people out there who obviously care so passionately about the mission of this site – being to expose and remorselessly challenge BBC bias. To all those who have emailed me – many thanks for the kind words and suggestions.

I want to thank each and everyone of you for your generosity and can assure you that the mission to expose the BBC bias will proceed – with a vengeance.

If it’s of any consolation, this is the first site, evah, I’ve ever contributed anything to (to my shame), but in the case of B-BBC it’s worth every penny just to let the BBC bastards (and everyone else) know that we don’t ALL swallow their claptrap.  Keep up the good work.

Ashamedly, I’ve had too many distractions these last few days and didn’t get round to donating. I will send the equivalent amount to a suitable charity.

Keep up the great work everybody.

What a splendid result! I feel that we are all part of a family, and it is gratifying to see so many people doing their bit to help. You are doing sterling work David – long may it continue!

    David v (Tax Funded) Goliath.

Why are the Left so keen to live off the taxpayer? Sorry, a rhetorical question. Why do they have a bias towards high taxes, funding a bloated, inefficient, and self-serving public sector? Again, a rhetorical question.

Great news, David. I’m a relative newcomer to this site, but it’s quickly become a firm favourite for me, so it’s good to know there is a massive upgrade in the works. I consider the site a vital public service, providing the balance so glaringly absent from The Corporation. Congratulations to all the regulars here – long may this place enjoy the free exchange of unbiased, critical comment. Keep it up!

I am so pleased David, I kept going back to the comments area of the appeal and roughly totting up whether we were getting close to the total.

As far as I am concerned it is not just that I pay through the license fee for the propoganda that flies in the face of everything I believe but that the BBC denies me knowledge.  Most, if not all of us who read this site want to know what is happening in the world and in spite of the BBC getting £3 billion they refuse to tell us of things that don’t fit their agenda.

My thanks to contributors and the comment posters for providing me with that knowledge.

I suppose that any excess will be kept in the kitty for future expenses?

If this isn’t the case, maybe a charity like Aghan Heroes would be a good destination for any surplus?

David, the paypal thing has now worked through. Payment is successful. If its over the amount you needed, too bad. Keep a little “gas” in the tank for emergencies. Cheers.
