BBC NEWS PRODUCER WARNS READERS ABOUT "RIGHTWING" MIGRATION WATCH

Lefty BBC London news producer Jane Bradley has been doing her lefty thing on Twitter again:

Migration Watch responded:

Her reply:

Except BBC journalists don’t issue warnings on Twitter about left-leaning lobbyists, do they? I shouldn’t have to point this out, but as it’s increasingly clear that Ms Bradley lacks basic common sense and can’t keep her politics to herself, I feel I have to spell it out for her in terms even she might understand. Impartial BBC. “Warning… rightwing.” Duh!

This tweet about Migration Watch once again sheds light on conventional opinion within BBC newsrooms. If there are people out there who really think that the BBC’s impartiality guidelines safeguard its journalism against the political views of its overwhelmingly left-wing staff then, well, they’re even bigger idiots than Jane Bradley clearly is.

“Left-leaning” as compared to “right wing”?
If any of us cared what this useful tool thought-and being a Beeboid behind the scenes, it`s ALWAYS clear what her kind think-we`d have already counted how often the “left-leaning” label is used( usually for Stalin and those more left wing than him)-as opposed to how often the epiphet “right-wing is used”(anyone more extreme than Ken Clarke on the Humphrys scale as I recall!).
Maybe we could get Londoners to accept a decongestion charge and spit this spent wad into the rickshaw of history!

Yes, it’s amazing how, even when challenged, the leftiness is massaged into something softer and less definite than leftwing: left leaning.

We’ve picked up on this numerous times, the BBC continually refer to ‘the right wing press’ yet NEVER refer to the ‘left wing press’.

Radio 5 are in particular guilty of this, my mate Dame Nicola Campbell couldn’t resist having a dig at Guido Fawkes calling him a ‘Fascist’ live on air.

They really can’t help themselves at the BBC can they?

The Beeb has many graduations on the scale of “Right-wingism” ranging from Right to Hard-Right, Far-Right, Extreme-Right and Ultra-Right.

Quite how they decide which order of rightism these categories lie in is beyond me – is “Extreme” more right than “Ultra”?

Imagine the conversations in Beeb Central:  “Is Romney Hard or Ultra?  Santorum? seems a bit Extreme to me” etc etc.,

Yet, according to the Beeb,  there is no such equivalent on the Left of the  spectrum

The only concession to any “Leftism” is the rather lame “Left-leaning”   Only leaning? How do they define such a diluted term?

Not quite proper left then eh?

    Not quite fully commited leftism?

    A transitory state then?

Labour, Lib Dems, BBC-NUJ have NEVER stated a number which is an upper limit to the mass immigration which they politically still campaign for.

Instead, they deviously (with no manfesto) oppose the economic, political and cultural intererst of the indigenous (mainly white) people of Britain by advocating the mass influx of mainly poorly educated, unemployed or low paid, non-English speaking, unassimilable peoples from some of the poorest parts of Asia and Africa. Such immigrants are then given British welfare benefits, and dispensation for their religious laws.

And, of course, when such unprecedented numbers of immigrants continue with their rates of reproduction, as they do, the inevitable demographic consequences are that what once was a minority race or culture in Britain becomes the majority.

Even the ‘liberal’, Christopher Caldwell, in his book, ‘Reflection on the Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam and the West’ (Penguin, 2009) has as his final conclusion:

“It is far less certain that Islam will prove assimilable. Europe finds itself in a contest witrh Islam for the allegiance of its newcomers. For now, Islam is the stronger party in that contest, in an obvious demographic way and in a less obvious philosophical way. In such circumstances, words like ‘majority’ and minority’ mean little. When an insecure, malleable, relativistic culture meets a culture that is anchored, confident, and strengthened by common doctrines, it is generally the former that changes to suit the latter.”

And still BBC-NUJ, along with the rest of the British and EU political elite, is in denial about the Islamisation of Europe which they are actively campaigning to bring about.

Ah, comrade Bradley crops up again. She might well have said:

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING ARTICLE MAY CONTAIN RIGHT-WING VIEWS WHICH CAN DAMAGE YOUR HEALTH. IF YOU AGREE WITH ANYTHING IN THIS PIECE, SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE IMMEDIATELY.

Perhaps she should ask BBC colleague and fellow Twitterer Matt Prodger to ‘fisk’ MigrationWatch’s piece and ‘show it for what it is’?

I know how she feels. When I read an article by Seumas Milne or listen to an interview with Ed Balls I feel just a little bit grubby afterwards; actually, I feel as if a small part of my soul has been corrupted.

The BBC website story (address above) quotes the IPPR without calling it left-leaning while their rebuttal appears so early one might assume it was their report not Migration Watch’s. Indeed most of the story is other’s criticism with only some six of the 32 paragraphs being quotes from the report. This is the classic BBC mode. When they have to report a subject they disapprove of, they flood the story with negative commentary.

Have to say this moppet’s inability to resist  ‘wing’ vs. ‘leaning’ semantic dissembling is rather cute. If classic.

But I am sure the cherry vultures are ready to swoop with chapter and verse from the archives to prove otherwise.

Cheap foreign labour like slavery benefit’s the very rich, and is why the divide between the rich and the poor has widened. The very rich regard the left as useful idiots in this situation. The left think that it is awful that foreigners have to live in countries that they regard as shit holes full of ethnics. They ask, how would you like to live in a country that was such a shit hole that it would violate your human rights if you were send back there. A sense of inferiority drives people to the left, and the left need someone to fell superior too, and that is not found in the hideously white areas of Britain anymore. No wonder the proud people of Scotland want independence.

As MigrationWatch is opposed to one of the main tenets of the so-called progressive left in the form of mass immigration, it’s outlook must, by default, be right-wing according to the left’s fellow travellers. Similarly in relation to the European Union, anyone who opposes anything that comes from this auspicious body must also be of the right(and therefore wrong). Now here’s the thing – when they mention this, it is designed as a warning – “Beware – nasty, wrong-headed, socially unacceptable views to follow”. They don’t need to spell this out, it’s implicit in the tone and the fact that this warning is only ever put out when it’s a right-of-centre group/individual that is about to be allowed, if we really must, to voice their frightfully uncaring and vicious views. They just can’t accept that even people of the left might just be against mass immigration/The EU on principle, and must therefore be exhibiting ‘false consciousness’ or some such BS.

Note too how frequently ‘right-wing’ is used as a pejorative in its own right, as though merely to be ‘right-wing’ was in and of itself proof of malice or stupidity and no further explanation is required as to why ‘those people’ need not be given a fair hearing.

Indeed, about 5/6 years ago I was listening to Mayo’s programme on 5Live. The news came through that the Dutch Government was considering a ban on wearing burqas in public.

By the time the scheduled news bulletin came around on the hour (about 20 minutes later), the Dutch Government had morphed into the “Centre-Right Dutch Government”, despite there only being a handful of right-wing politicians in the then  coallition.

Coalitions have been  a feature of Dutch governments for decades, yet the presence of a few “right wingers” taints the whole coaltion as “Right-Wing” in Beeb land.

I watched BBC London News last night on iplayer.  I was staggered how bent it is.  On a TODAY programme 80s/90s/Iraq War scale.  It may as well call itself Ken Livingstone news.

Now I know why with a patently bent producer like Jane Bradley.

If the BBC cared at all about its integrity she would be out on her ear.

    It doesn’t and she isn’t.

  22. Wayne Xenocrates says:

The sad thing is that it is our forgotten youth that is being thrown away.  Hundreds of thousands of our youth are on the scrap heap, probably for life, because of this open door policy to immigration.  Yet the BBC coke fuelled inhabitants of la la land are worried only about right wing versus left wing politics.

The math say it all.  HALF A MILLION (or more) immigrants come in to the country, HALF A MILLION British youngsters with no jobs and those are just the latest figures.  Over the last few decades it has been MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people from all over the world that have come here to work, or sponge off of us.

Perhaps if young British people had been taught the work ethic and not been indoctrinated by the unions and the Labour party and then feather bedded on the social then, just perhaps, Steven Lawrence would now be an architect, 50million would not have been wasted on a huge police investigation, and a couple of British lads would be contributing to society instead of being banged up at our expense.

I am sure that in time the BBC will see this argument too.

Wow….. is that a herd of swine I see flying overhead?

I still don’t understand what happened to the “work for benefits” idea that was floated by someone at some time. Put in the too dificult box by politicians I expect. Yet getting up at noon,  money for nothing, and hanging around with your other unemployed mates rest of the day is destructive of the work ethic. Well done the politicians. You couldn’t do more harm to our youth if you tried.

There are loads of jobs absolutely anyone could do with almost no training. Autocue reading from a bBC sofa, is just one example.

David Preiser,  Craig and others have pointed to the way that the BBC takes its lead on US politics from liberal sources – especially from members of the group of leftie commentators in the “JournoList” who colluded in “framing” political stories – collaborating to keep in step in pushing a single set of arguments in defence of Obama and in attacking on the Republicans.

Let’s not kid ourselves that the JournoList group – which had hundreds of members across US media – no longer operates.  Yes,  it was exposed,  and yes,  they kinda disbanded.   Sure – just like ACORN disbanded but is popping up in new guises in the Occupy movement.

And where did the JournoList coordinators often get their party-line ?   From Obama’s White House,  of course.

This clip is a few days old – but it shows that the leftie media are still taking talking-points from Obama’s people.   And in turn – so do the BBC.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

I’m aware of Klein briefing Congressional Democrats. The JournoList itself may be dead, but its mission and the continued collusion of many, many people in the far-Left media is still there.

I pointed out two Beeboid uses of JournoListas as un-labeled sources in the last few days. One was in the piece about the White House Chief of Staff jumping ship, where the anonymous writer quoted a JournoLista as saying this was a great time for a reshuffle, and the other I think was a Brian Wheeler piece about the primaries (can’t remember for sure at the moment).

They’re all still in close communication, all still playing the same game. It’s why I have serious doubts about Romney winning the election in November.
