QUESTION TIME LIVEBLOG 17TH NOVEMBER 2011

Well, Question Time comes from the vowelly-challenged Aberystwyth and on the panel we have Grant Shapps, Chris Bryant, Elin Jones, Will Hutton and Sir Simon Jenkins. Regardless of that line up of dross, I am sure we will all gave a good time so come along, bring a bottle (or more, I fear you may need it!) and join the good natured banter. I’m hoping ASE and David Mosque will be able to join in – see you all in an hour!

I notice Schapps corrected someone below those tweets about wrong stats regarding home reposessions.  The guy apologized, saying that he was only quoting a BBC Wales report.

Dross?….rather “bigged up” wouldn`t you say?
That said, am listening to the pig-ignorant and vacuous Emily Maitlis sprinkling her sequins all over Syria…apparently, it can all be discussed over a girlie ice-cream. Emily is rushing the girls throught it all, and it`s a shame that both ladies are actually Syrian…maybe they`ll understand before too long though!
Oh heck..Paul Mason now…off over to Aberystwyth then!

Do I notice a lessening of interest by B-BBC commenters concerning Question Time?

I’m not surprised since just about everything that could be said has been said concerning, for instance, the bias in choice of panellist, the managed “vox pop” and the drowning out of opinion contrary to the narrative (by heavy-handed chairmanship or ignorant over-indulged abusive comment from the audience).  I haven’t watched QT since, I think, the Griffin episode but I don’t believe I’ve missed anything of substance.

Nothin like an old post in need of a visit…any old dog would understand!
Think it best to lump the Dimblibores weekly gobfest together on the one comment…note that they don`t seem to like being called each others names…
Pater must wonder why he called them David and Jonathan…no biblical basis and can`t even sing…but they can shill for the Beeb!
We have had the Self-Righteous Brothers wadded and padded up on Beeb outlets now since the 60s…got to be some Windy Miller type roles for these two when they remake CGI versions of Trumpton…or was it Candlewick Green?
