ENDA ON AN AUSTERITY BENDA?

Anyone catch the odd interview here with Irish PM Enda Kenny on BBC “Today” this morning? The line being taken by Evan Davies was that Ireland should follow Iceland and choose to default on its massive debt. Enda, being a good little European, insisted that Ireland was 100% committed to “colleagues” in the EU. Wonder why the BBC were wanting him to suggest he might follow Iceland? – one way to get him to admit unswerving to the EU? Give it a listen if you get a moment…

There’s a wave of EU Apathy coming, it has started in Finland this weekend, some fantastic gains for True Finn, especially from countries who are fiscally responsible. as opposed to socialist dream states like Greece.

The Euro will be dead within 6 years.

When will BBC-Labour reflect the broad opinion of British people that we should NOT bail out EU debtor nations?

Dont worry about a thing. I remember Stephanie Flanders telling us that Ireland will get nowhere near default! Indeed only about 8 months ago she wrote an article about Ireland’s then Finance Minister calling him “A Good Man”.

Sadly as Ireland’s economy collapsed under his stewardship Stephanie failed to tell us anything apart from the fact that she predicted it all….

Yes, and SF probably thinks Iceland is where poor people shop for crap frozen food in debt ridden countries and that’s why they never opened a branch in Ireland.

For BBC-Labour, and its ‘Gordon Brown for IMF’.

A reminder: Gordon Brown sold off over half of Britain’s gold reserves between 1999-2002 for only $256 – $296 an ounce.

Today’s price of gold: $1,500 an ounce.
