The bulletin on this morning’s edition of the Today Programme was unable to convey the news that the The King’s Speech, which was funded by the Film Council, had won Oscars in the most significant award categories without mentioning the government’s plan to disband this quango.  No mention that this said body plough vast sums of taxpayers money into creative projects which bomb and sink without trace.

    BBC delenda est.

Fresh allegations arise of another anti-semitic tirade of John Galliano in December and the BBC, at least as far as its website search engine seems to indicate, is behind the curve.

Could it have anything to do with the numbrer of homosexuals and anti-semites who work at the BBC, one wonders?

Assuming Galliano actually did what he is accused of (he denies it) why did he do it? No one, least of all the BBC has an explanation.

Was it a Mel Gibson moment? Was it a “I’m not antisemitic but Jews must be held personally responsible for Israel’s crimes”, moment? Was it a “That bitch Cohen called me a no talent so I’m going to bully the first Jews I see who are smaller than me”, moment?

The BBC claims that making anti-Semitic remarks is punishable in France by up to six months in prison Does anyone know if this that really true? Only antisemitic or racist abuse in general? Who has ever received a prison sentence under this law?Is Galliano to be charged under this law or under a more general offensive behaviour/assault charge or not at all?

“Fellow designer Giorgio Armani told the Daily Telegraph he was sorry that John Galliano had been filmed without his knowledge and that it was obviously a difficult time for him.”    So, Galliano is the victim then.

“And Italian Vogue editor Franca Sozzani told the paper: ‘Christian Dior without John Galliano would be a huge pity.’ “  What a shame eh!  Lucky for him his comments weren’t directed against Black people or (whisper the thought) Muslims.  No-one would dare to be so supportive then.

“Daily Mail fashion director Liz Jones wrote on her blog this weekend: ‘In the bitchy world of fashion, the knives are already out, with insiders saying the brand had been itching to get rid of him.”  Yup, definitely the victim.

“But some admitted they would continue to buy the designer’s clothes, despite his opinions. “  A good job he isn’t straight and made a mildly homophobic attack.

“Rimazahran wrote: ‘I [love] Galliano! Who cares who he loves, hates or what his personality is like, its not like any of us plan to marry him just wear his art!’ “ So there it is, it doesn’t matter what vile comments are made, as long as it’s directed against Jews it doesn’t matter.  It might explain why Mel Gibson is still feted in Hollywood, but Ron Atkinson must wonder why his relatively mild words have ended his punditry career so completely.

Labour leader Ed Miliband has been making some comments today about the state of the UK labour market and the increasing problem of low wages. He made various points and mentioned Labour’s immigration policy as having had an unfavourable effect on wage levels for the worst off in our society.

The Telegraph, the Mirror, the Independent and the Mail, and several other sources too, reported Mr Miliband’s comments including those about immigration.

The Guardian’s article on Mr Miliband’s comments didn’t mention his immigration comments at all.

And surprise, surprise, neither did the BBC’s!

Another example of censorship by omission by the two main ‘liberal’ news sources in the UK. The Guardian is free to do as it likes but the BBC should not be selective in its reporting to suit its political leanings.

Spot on Phil. This is absolutely indefensible. Mark Thompson said recently that the BBC had not been impartial in its handling of the immigration issue. It clearly still isn’t if this blatant piece of censorship is anything to go by. Here’s the link to the BBC article.

Ed Miliband’s further admission that the Labour government  was “certainly wrong about the number of people” (Eastern European migrants) entering the country, which they “significantly underestimated”, is also reported by Sky News

Probably picked up and mentioned already, but I have been away from TV/radio/internet for most of the day so driving home this evening, I heard a local radio news bulletin saying that Milliband had made a pop at David Cemeron for the coalition’s slow handling of the rescue, and that DC should apologise for it. I then heard Dave telling Milliband that perhaps he should apologise first for Labour’s bad decisions to get involved with Gadaffi in the first place.

Nice put down! but on the BBC’s news website, can I find any mention of the exchange?  Sure, the Millband bit is covered

“But Labour leader Ed Miliband urged him to apologise for the government’s handling of the crisis last week – when a rescue effort for Britains in Libya was delayed – saying they had been let down by “chaos and incompetence”.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-12598674
but no word of Dave’s retort. Very selective reporting again, BBC and not what a £billions tax payer funded so called impartial news organisation should be.

Yesterday morning, the BBC News Channel’s Simon McCoy put this question to a rescued oil worker, Robert Bradshaw: “There has been, in the last week or so, some criticism of the Foreign Office lack of action, if you like. What’s your feeling towards how the Foreign Office handled this?”

This was Mr Bradshaw’s reply and it made me proud to be British:

“They were amazing. I can only go off my experiences. They were absolutely amazing. As soon as we stepped into Tripoli Airport, the only government that had control of any of the situation was ours and there was a team of approximately six or seven that just took on the hundred English nationals that came home on the last flight. We were on the last flight out and they just controlled us. They moved us everywhere that they needed. We actually followed the Union Jack because one of them had the Union Jack as our standard and we followed that Union Jack all through immigration, through visa control and we were led perfectly by the team that was supporting us there.”

Craig, reminds me of last week on the BBC1 Breakfast show when they spoke to a rescued Brit by telephone who had just safely escaped Tripoli – on the 6am news bulletin the sofa beeboid opened with the question “so its been chaos and confusion, …”. Rescued Brit promptly answered that he couldn’t fault the Government’s handling, communications are non-existant but the embassy had done a great job in organising the rescue etc…”.

Needless to say, that little interview did not get repeated in further bulletins at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 etc. Bad news soundbites always get aired on the hour and half-hour, and if a real anti-Tory message, even repeated in the mini reminder at quarter past and quarter to the hour, but strangely, this little piece of good news got a just single airing.

With the majority of the MSM (bar the BBC) having dropped Labour’s little sniping attack like the embarrassing pile of hypocrisy it was, exposing their front page ratings addictions for what they are, there’s a new guerilla version now out.

Little letters from ‘relatives’ of Brits who were not helped in the way they’d like seeded about.

All, that i have read, so far slapped down (thogh not by the sub-editors giving them prominence) as the cynical little point-scoring ploys they are.

British media are scum. And the BBC the hive’s Queen bee.

That the BBC still sees fit to try and spin some more petty political opportunism out of Labour’s risible record and efforts says a lot for how delusionally self-supporting but unaware these two entities are.

Time for a new Downfall series, with a sequence involving a Goebells scene played by any Beeboid either suggesting techniques or dancing to Labour’s bidding?

I open my in-box this morning to this:

      dailyemail@ebs.bbc.co.uk

      Gaddafi: ‘Libyans still back me’

Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi tells the BBC all Libyans love him and would die to protect him, during an interview in Tripoli.

      For more details: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news

What, no qualifier? No ‘critics react with derision at…’?

Funny how, when it suits, the BBC can get very ‘factual’ and avoid enhancing any narratives. Maybe they are playing it cool until Jeremy has finished the cheese and biscuits with the bloke who is directing all this mayhem (along with a bunch of other ratings-addicted ‘reporters’ who one presumes will be bleating if caught up in any unpleasantness having headed not only into a war zone voluntarily, but seem happy to mix with the heart of the beast.

I remember seeing a doc about the human shield ‘peace bus’ that went off to Iraq.  Not all of them reached Iraq because of a major falling out among the peaceniks themselves.

When those that were left reached Baghdad they were very disappointed to find that they were going to be shunted off to the middle of nowhere to ‘shield’ power stations, radio masts, etc.  They had rather hoped deployment to the centre of town beside  orphanages, children’s hospitals, and camera crews.

Never occurred to the tired old trots that perhaps, orphanages, children’s hospitals and petting zoos are not great wartime strategic targets.

Not the BBC, but hilarious as it comes from the same pond. The scrambling for post-event moral rectitude at the LSE with respect to their alumnus, Saif Al Islam Al Khadafe,

Students are satisfied with LSE’s position on the matter, particularly in light of strong support from the student union for the original £1.5 million donation. At the time of the original donation in 2009, the general secretary of LSE Students’ Union, wrote to Professor Held: ‘The student occupation on this matter has also ended following discussions with the Director. This is exactly the kind of organisation the School should be associated with – a group struggling for justice…”

And they didn’t see it coming…….actually, in their own way, they are being very nasty to their former colleague, but the real world follows time-honoured principles in  which even the academic fantasists get caught up …….when supping with the devil, take along that long spoon.

        Events, dear boy, events.

But I’m sure, even the current focus of scorn is not entirely out of favour, there is always the mitigation,  deriving from the liberal intelligentsia’s Weltanschaung (that the BBC shares) , that the Gadaffis were, and evidently still are,  anti-Israel.

The BBC would argue that rligion is the key factor in the adoption story and purely incidental in the case of the Geordie BA worker. Of course the BA worker is not exactly ‘wor Jackie’, he’s a Bangladeshi national who came to the UK in 2006 ostensibly to seek treatment for his sick son. It transpired in the trial that his son was not sick and that from the very start of his time in Britain he had a mision – ‘In one email, recovered by police, he said: ‘From the moment I entered this country my niyah (purpose) was to do something for the deen (faith), it was not to make a living here and start enjoying life.’’

Guard a…my mind strayed…maybe even Guardian…oh wait! Is The Guardian attacking Libya and its Mad Mummer ? Surely not!  It all became somewhat surreal in my mind as I attempted to follow.  Do you think those lazy useless Beeboids could put up a couple of subtitles or the useless interviewer could repeat the obscure words back by way of translating them for the audience? The tiny Palestinian enclave of Gaza. Well, yes and no. This enclave has 1.6 million people! Doesn’t enclave mean a territory whose geographical boundaries lie entirely within the boundaries of another territory. What Gaza is is an exclavea territory legally or politically attached to another territory with which it is not physically contiguous. That is, if you don’t accept that it is independent.

The government of Hosni Mubarak could be relied upon to do Israel’s bidding [ 😀 😀 😀 😀 ] in particular in keeping Hamas isolated here in Gaza. BBC still not admitting that Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood are closely related and Egypt ‘s closure was in its own idea of its best interests domestically.

The story of Hamas militant Ayman Noufel is a good example. No irony in introducing him with an M16 rifle in his hand, is there?

I was held as a hostage on behalf of Israel (Noufel says). What no boilerplate ‘but Israel denies it’?

The Egyptian public is now demanding Israel release its stranglehold on Gaza. No. Rupert. They are demanding Egypt do this. The consequences will be an increased flow of arms and military materials together with a fall in the taxes Hamas collects from the tunnels. Not promising.

Even the former head of Mossad is worried. He says the need to solve the Palestinian problem is more urgent than ever. He may believe this but the clip shows the opposite. He says that Once things begin to happen on the ground the Egyptian public will become less seized with the problem of Palestine and will concentrate on domestic affairs.

Anger and hatred of Israel by ordinary Egyptians is nothing new (unless you get your news from the BBC) but when Mubarak was in power they had no voice … Actually Mubarak condoned anti Israel expression so long as it didn’t go beyond rhetoric, as it served to divert attention from his own rule.

.. so it didn’t matter. Now it does. Can’t disagree with that but the BBC will return to the Israel is a meanie for fearing the Egyptian democratic revolution mode, tomorrow.

The irony here (which the bBC doesn’t mention) is that Prince Andrew met with the gadiffis during labours tenure. You know like the Dark Lords visits and funny enough Tony Blairs.

He starts out by appealing straight to people’s hearts: “I am here to feel your yearning with you, I am here to enquire about your welfare. I am here to show that you’re not alone!”

The European Court of Justice has decreed that UK insurance companies can no longer ‘discriminate’ against boy racers and the BBC has opened its website for comments – some 900 and counting so far.

After the 300 mark the “BBC Editors” chose around 30 comments as their ‘Editors Pick’. Their selection suggests overwhelming support for the European Court’s decision, with over 20 in favour and far fewer than 10 against. Many of the comments, whether for or against, also make left-wing talking points. No chosen comments question the right of Europe to interfere in our country’s business.

Yet click onto the full comments and start reading and you find a far broader spectrum of opinion. Quickly you also see that the BBC editors have picked a strongly biased sample. The support for the ECJ’s decision is nowhere near as strong as their sample suggests. The opposition is far larger than the editors’ sample suggests. And, yes, there are plenty of comments attacking Europe’s interference in our affairs.

Were I to guess at the default position of your bog-standard left-winger on this issue, I would say they’d support this decision on the grounds that (a) the decision was made in favour of the principle of “equality” and against “discrimination”, (b) the decision is a European ruling, that there is nothing wrong with Europe imposing rulings on the UK (regardless of present UK law), that the European Court of Justice is essentially a good thing, and its decisions are usually wise, and (c) that the decision goes against insurance companies, who – like many private businesses – are generally a bad thing.

How revealing that the “BBC Editors’ Pick” overwhelmingly choses comments that reflect such positions.

I see the bbC reports on the sacking of John -I’m not so important now- Galliano over his anti-semantic tirade.
Anybody wonder why out of all the worlds’ actresses they only quote this one:

“I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today,” said Portman, who won the best actress Oscar on Sunday. It followed the footage posted online allegedly showing Galliano telling a Paris cafe patron: “I love Hitler.”  Could it be that Her real name is: Natalie Hershlag and she is gasp an Israeli jew and her great grandparents died in Auschwitz. But then the bBC would never mention the truth or that the reason anti-Semitism is growing in the west (especially in the UK) is because of the how the bBC has become the standard bearer for anti-semtism.

The irony here is while Galliano professes a fondness for Hitler and everything he stood for. As a ‘In your face screaming queen John Boy would soon find himself on his knees getting really battered around the ring (think about it) if one of Hitler’s actual followers decided that he wanted a makeover.  A lot like the bBC and its love for …Islam.  Oh here’s John Boy caught on film expressing his love for black shirts and leather.

The News Channel had on some woman a few minutes ago who said that Portman was Israeli.  There was no winking or nodding or justification for the anti-Jew remarks, though.  In fact, the guest even said that it was a surprise to everyone that such a talented man was “so deeply flawed”.  I think that’s the first time I’ve heard such a sentiment expressed on the BBC by someone who wasn’t there specifically to support Israel or whose words could be easily dismissed because they were a Jew.

Too bad the BBC refused to report about the remarks until the guy was fired.  Dior probably knew all along that he was an anti-Semite, and simply didn’t care until it got out and a fuss was raised.  If he had insulted blacks or Muslims or homosexuals, the BBC would have hounded him and led the charge to get him fired.

Regarding Dior and antisemitism, surprising no one has mentioned Francoise Dior and her connections to fascism.

        From Wikipedia:

Françoise Dior (7 April 1932 – 21 January 1993) was the French ex-wife of British National Socialist Colin Jordan and a niece of fashion designer Christian Dior. She was a well-known supporter of the postwar Nazi cause. Dior was a close friend of Savitri Devi, a prominent devoted neo-Nazi philosopher.

Born in Paris, Marie Françoise Suzanne Dior, was the daughter of Raymond Dior and his wife, the former Madeleine Leblanc..She travelled to London, in the summer of 1962, after reading of the National Socialist Movement’s rallies. She became engaged to John Tyndall who was later incarcerated along with other members of the party for paramilitary activities, but married Colin Jordan who had been released before Tyndall. This act played the central role in the lifelong split between the two former allies in 1964. After a civil ceremony at Caxton Hall, Dior and Jordan married on 5 October 1963 at 74 Princedale Road, London W11, the former home of Arnold Leese; the wedding pictures, that saw them mingling blood from their fingers over a copy of Mein Kampf, were published widely in the press. Dior also stated that she longed “to give birth to a little Nazi”

Dior split from Jordan, eloping with her 19 year old secretary Terence Robert Cooper, returning to Paris on 16 March 1966. In October 1966, she was imprisoned in Nice for four months over an old case of posting swastika labels on the walls of the British embassy, having been tried according to French law during her absence in Paris before her marriage. She returned to Britain on a brief visit in April 1967 but was arrested and sent to Holloway prison charged with arson of London synagogues in 1965. On her release in 1969, she left Britain permanently to live in Normandy..

A heavy smoker since her teens, she died on 21 January 1993 in Paris of lung cancer, aged 60.

WASHINGTON – It’s a book that has been shunned from libraries. It’s a book that is disturbing, compelling and persuasive on its major point – that homosexuals dominated the German Nazi Party from its birth through its catastrophic demise. It’s a book that is vilified by America’s “gay” activist establishment.
But it’s also a highly footnoted, meticulously documented book whose primary sources include the best historical work on the rise and fall of the Third Reich.
“The Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party” by Scott Lively and Kevin Abrams challenges the notion that homosexuals were victimized during the Holocaust in ways comparable to the Jews. But it does much more than that. It also makes the case that the Nazi Party is best understood as a neo-pagan, homosexual cult. From the party’s founding in a homosexual bar, “The Pink Swastika” introduces the reader to all the household names of Nazism – from Goebbels to Goering and Himmler to Hess – and their secrets of sexual perversion, one of the driving forces of their genocidal sadism.’

      There is something to it.

I make no apologies in the light of the Galliano outburst.

The ‘Lebensborn’ was about children for the male elite with no sense of partnership in the way Judaeo-Christian social morality understands it.

The real companionship for the warrior was other warriors in the mould of the ‘Theban’ homosexual phalanx of Epaminondas.

Leather, rituals, male bonding plus contempt for ‘bourgeois’ sentimental morality.

Consumer Reports says that the Chevy Volt is basically crap.

Consumer Reports offered a harsh initial review of the Chevrolet Volt, questioning whether General Motors Co.’s flagship vehicle makes economic “sense.”The extended-range plug-in electric vehicle is on the cover of the April issue — the influential magazine’s annual survey of vehicles — but the GM vehicle comes in for criticism.

“When you are looking at purely dollars and cents, it doesn’t really make a lot of sense. The Volt isn’t particularly efficient as an electric vehicle and it’s not particularly good as a gas vehicle either in terms of fuel economy,” said David Champion, the senior director of Consumer Reports auto testing center at a meeting with reporters here. “This is going to be a tough sell to the average consumer.”

The magazine said in its testing in Connecticut during a harsh winter, its Volt is getting 25 to 27 miles on electric power alone.

It’s also much more expensive than competitors from Nissan and twice the cost of the one coming from Honda.  What a shock.

This is because it was made by GM (“Government Motors”), which was bailed out by The Obamessiah on the backs of the taxpayers, simply to prop up His beloved unions.  He violated contract law to do it.  Now He’s made the electric vehicle boondoggle….sorry….industry a heavily subsidized deal, again at the expense of the taxpayers.  It doesn’t need to work well as the idea is to force people to buy it.  Just like ObamaCare is meant to force people to buy a specific product from specific, government-approved providers.

The road to hell may be paved with good intentions, but the road to crap is paved with neo-Marxist intentions.

A sad tale of modern Britain. The actions of Brown, Blair, etc have had a devastating effect on the country, but will we ever see any worthless scumbag politician spend ANY time in jail for their crimes of idiocy, negligence and treachery? Will we f*ck.

‘Neighbour from hell’ jailed and banned from having TV or radio

?A former seaman who upset his neighbours with loud foul-mouthed rants at politicians on TV has been banned from having a television or radio in his home.

Plumber Martin Soloman, 65, had the ban imposed on him as a last resort by a judge who also jailed him for 14 months after he admitted breaching an ASBO for the 27th and 28th times.

At Gloucester crown court yesterday Soloman, of Farmhill Lane, Paganhill, Stroud, admitted twice breaching his ASBO in January by disturbing his neighbours with his ranting.

Prosecutor Derek Ryder said Soloman was constantly disturbing neighbour Nicholas Jermyn.

Incidents had happened as late as 1.15am and involved swearing, using the F-word in a variety of ways, Mr Ryder said,

“One could well describe the defendant as a neighbour from Hell,” he said.

He told the judge “I would like you to extend the ASBO to bar him from having a TV or radio, If they are taken out of the equation there will be less room for him to vent his anger and to swear.”

Lloyd Jenkins, defending, told the court “We’ve been here before! It’s a sad case.”

But Mr Jenkins argued that sending Soloman to prison yet again would do nothing to stop him and he asked the court to consider some form of supervision and rehabilitation.

Judge William Hart retorted “What prison will do is enable his neighbours, for several months, to know that they can sleep quietly in their beds.”

Mr Jenkins said Soloman’s bad behaviour started three years ago when he lost his job as a plumber.

“He says he is single, he’s never had children, he was a plumber from 1960 but then three years ago he was told he was useless and he couldn’t get any more work. He says ‘I’m on the scrapheap.’

“That problem has spawned a monster. Three years ago he started drinking. It seems all his problems are at the bottom of a glass.

“He was in the Navy for seven years but now he is someone who is, frankly, lonely.

“He sits at home becoming increasingly frustrated with himself and life, goes to his local and gets drunk. The world is then a better place for an hour or so.

“He comes home and watches TV at some ridiculous amplified volume, shouts remarks at the TV and his neighbours…and then falls asleep with the TV on. It has got to stop – he knows that.”

Jailing Soloman for 14 months, the judge also added a condition to his ASBO banning him from having a TV or radio at his home for the next two and a half years.

The judge said: “Court orders have not deterred you.

“Repeated breaches of anti social behaviour orders are serious matters indeed. It is not simply the misery you cause your victims, it is the fact you are in breach of court orders which makes your position serious.

“If I thought there was any realistic prospect of providing real long term respite for your neighbours with a fresh community order I may be tempted to go down that road.

“But I am unpersuaded that is a possibility.

“Hopefully this sentence, which is longer than anything imposed on you in the past, will make you think again when you come out about the way you behave.”

“While I suspect that David Starkey would violently object the two current giants of television history in terms of providing a worldview are the left leaning Simon Schama and the combative neo conservative Niall Ferguson. Their dust up at last years Hay festival was a colourful sparring session between two big intellects firing verbal potshots at each other and a joy to behold. Schama concentrated on providing a robust defense of Barack Obama while Ferguson spent much of his allotted time dissing the President’s now famous speech delivered in Cairo in 2009. Indeed he has described it as “touchy feely nonsense” and has in recent weeks sent out lurid warnings about Obama’s failure to anticipate the demise of Mubarak and to come to terms with what Ferguson sees as the potential rise of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and the possible “restoration of the caliphate and the strict application of Sharia”. Strong stuff, but Ferguson does like a good row. (see his feud with the nobel prize winning economist Paul Krugman)”

In a nutshell the RAF has received the first 2 deliveries, but saw 24 of tranche 2 sold off to Saudi Arabia, while the initial order was slashed from 250 to 160, (most of which resulted in a cut in tranche 3 numbers) an extra 24 were ordered to offset the tranche 2 which were sold off.
Now seeing as the order for T3 was only signed in 2009. Everybody (not just the RAF) is still awaiting deliveries of the last trache. Which kind of explains how out of a total order of 559 planes, the 250th was handed over to Austria in Dec of last year.(3 months ago) The total number of Tranch 1 and 2 worldwide comes in at 299. (Still 49 to go bBC)
As for cost overruns, here’s something have a look at wiki in which to find that the initial costing for the UKs jets came in at £7 billion that was in 1988, by 1997 that was up to £17B and by 2003 £20B.
Any half decent defence expert with Internet access to the bBC could have worked out all of the above in minutes.

What the bBC doesn’t bother mentioning is that the main reason the jet has become so expensive is that everybody (not just the UK) have downsized their order. resulting in a much more expensive jet.
That is an issue with the government of the day and not the MOD.
Another thing the bBC doesn’t mention is that Labour when in power decided it would save money by not installing the main cannon. problem being the plane was desinged around the gun being fitted and they wasted millions trying to rectify the problem. The solution was simple..fit the gun. However the PC crowd at labour refused the RAF to fire it. (Might hurt somebody)

The bBC and half the story
Remember when the bBC bitched about this
Earlier, Israeli defence officials said tanks fitted with a new missile defence system would be deployed near Gaza.

Well in light of the above do you think they should report this story from the weekend:
New Israeli weapon downs anti-tank rocket fired from Gaza
A new Israeli weapons system knocked down a Palestinian anti-tank rocket in its first combat test Tuesday, the military said, showing off technology that could protect the heavy vehicles that have been the mainstay of the world’s ground forces for decades. Palestinian militants said they fired a rocket-propelled grenade at an Israeli tank as it patrolled near the Gaza-Israel border, a frequent occurrence. This time, the “Trophy” system sensed the incoming rocket and fired its own projectile, blowing it up away from the tank, the military said.

For those that don’t fully understand the above. It means vehicles can now be protected against RPGs without bolting on lots of armour.
(Think Jihad videos from Iraq showing terrorists firing RPGs)

Any half decent defence expert would be wetting his John Galliano underwear at this news.

Anybody come across the bBC version of how ’Migrants’ in Greece are on hunger strike.
Greece hunger strike migrants taken to hospital
Up to 50 migrants are being given hospital treatment, almost five weeks after going on hunger strike in Greece. More than 280 migrants in Athens and Thessaloniki began the hunger strike in late January, calling on Greece to give them residence permits… The hunger strikers, many of whom have lived and worked on the Greek island of Crete for years, have attracted the support of unions, human rights organisations and a number of academics. At least 350,000 migrant workers in Greece are without residence permits, which are required for access to social insurance payments.

Here are a couple of snippets that other news agencies reported, but which the bBC hasn’t:
    Morning Star:
Greece has been repeatedly criticised for having one of the most restrictive asylum policies in the European Union.

    AP
On Monday, Interior Minister Yiannis Ragoussis questioned in a newspaper interview why the African immigrants thought they deserved preferential treatment.”Why these 300 … and not another 300 or 400,000 people who are in the same position?” he said. “It is impossible for Greece to allow mass legalizations,” he told Ta Nea.”One need only consider the prospect of boats from north Africa heading for Cretan ports with thousands of immigrants, who would start hunger strikes to demand their own legalization.”

A Pakistani supporter in the building’s courtyard who identified himself as Hanjra said while other migrants backed the strikers, there was no sign of the protest spreading.”Those who have legal status are comfortably settled and don’t really care,” said Hanjra, who has lived legally in Greece for the past eight years. “The other 500,000 who don’t have papers are scared. But the strikers’ cause is just … if there is no solution some people will die.”

And here is how Reuters writes up the same story:
More than 200 illegal immigrants started a hunger strike in Athens on Tuesday to seek legal residence status, in the latest sign of a growing crisis in the recession-hit EU frontier state.Athens granted asylum in August to six Iranians who had stopped eating for weeks. A few Afghan asylum seekers have been on hunger strike since late November, hoping to get refugee status.
An estimated half a million illegal immigrants and asylum seekers live in Greece, many of them in Athens, and an increasing proportion of those trying to get into Europe come in through Greece whose total population is 11 million.

They are all as bad as each other.

Just watching SKY (not much longer), with some blonde-topped female sniper target breathlessly reporting live as she jogs through Tripoli to find out the source of an explosion, only to be cut off by the balcony weasel as ‘that’s all we have time for’ as they need to sell some toothpaste.

Then cut to her ‘interviewing’ Gaddafi Jnr., which seems to consist of her feeding the bozo sound bites about David Cameron (actually pretty shameless with the flip-flopping, logic-free BS, but not I would submit for a UK reporter to be agreeing with an internationally vilified nutter upon) to repeat or amplify with more testosterone.

Any Downfall spoof for this would no longer have the last vestiges of a crumbling regime clustered together in isolation; they’d be sitting on a comfy sofa taking it in turn to give gushing ‘correspondents’ ‘exclusives to blurt propaganda… ‘Ja… that Churchill. Warmonger! Poor orphans in Dresden! But ve say… bring it on’

And all the while the rest of the bleateratti are moving from cuts, Cuts, CUTS!!!!! on lesbian library awareness officers to demand aircraft carriers as well, again without much sense of hypocrisy on warmonging themselves or any hint as to where the money comes from.

Not that any actual practicalities of what they spew for a cheap agenda point or rating troubles our beloved MSM.

A Christian Pakistan government minister has been murdered by Islamic jihadists.

Why? Apparently because he wanted to reform Pakistan’s murderous blasphemy laws.

    INBBC report:

[Christian] “Pakistan minorities minister shot dead in Islamabad”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-12617562

The INBBC report does say this:

“Mr Bhatti, a Christian, had received death threats after calling for changes to the controversial blasphemy law.
“In January, Punjab governor Salman Taseer, who had also opposed the law, was shot dead by one of his bodyguards.
“The blasphemy law holds a death sentence for anyone who insults Islam. ”

What the INBBC report does not say, but should, following on from that last sentence, is that such a death sentence is based on the tenets of Islam.

“CNN whitewashes Islam’s death penalty for blasphemy”

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2010/11/cnn-whitewashes-islams-death-penalty-for-blasphemy.html

No doubt, INBBC is preparing a programme exposing

    ‘Christianophobia’  in Islam….

Some material on this for INBBC research:

    ‘Islam and blasphemy’

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/br0nc0s/managed-mt/mt-search.cgi?search=islam+blasphemy&IncludeBlogs=1&limit=20

Ludicrously, and immorally, the biggest recipient of British taxpayers’ aid is Pakistan. Clearly, this aid should be stopped iimmediately on the grounds of Pakistan’s inhuman laws on ‘blasphemy’.

But the large Pakistan diaspora has millions of votes in Britain.

Pakistan ‘to top UK’s aid list’
