OBAMA IN OVER HIS HEAD

The latest article by Time magazine political analyst Mark Halperin (hardly a frothing right-winger) is quite a doozy (via Hot Air):

With the exception of core Obama Administration loyalists, most politically engaged elites have reached the same conclusions: the White House is in over its head, isolated, insular, arrogant and clueless about how to get along with or persuade members of Congress, the media, the business community or working-class voters. This view is held by Fox News pundits, executives and anchors at the major old-media outlets, reporters who cover the White House, Democratic and Republican congressional leaders and governors, many Democratic business people and lawyers who raised big money for Obama in 2008, and even some members of the Administration just beyond the inner circle.

Not the impression we get from the BBC.

Matt Frei described the book Game Change, which Halperin co-authored, as “the definitive account of the 2008 election campaign” (Americana, BBC R4, 26 Sept 2010). It’ll be interesting to see if any BBC correspondents acknowledge these latest revelations about insider attitudes towards Obama’s failing administration.

(Frei will have to catch up on the article later – he’s joined the ever-growing army of BBC hacks in Chile. Another “I was there” moment he simply had to have for his memoirs.)

Do we think there will ever be a clear out of bigotted, racist socialists from the bbc? The dimblebys would be a start. They should be put out to grass so that another family can have its turn of nepotism at the nation’s expense. Their exit might just clarify some other minds in the cesspit that is the bbc.

I doubt it, all that the beeboids see is the crack of Barry’s bum.

Hang on.  It is spring time in Chile , lovely wine, nice food, friendly people . I wish I could afford to go there.  But I am delighted to pay for Beeboids to enjoy themselves on my behalf.  Thank God for the BBC.

Grant have you read “Autobiography of a Seaman”? What a man!

I have to laugh at that quote that the Obamessiah and pals are clueless about how to persuade the media…

The media! How come? It didn’t take any persuading at all for the media to take off chasing after The One in 2008 like so many lemmings hurtling towards a cliff. You and I know who was at the head of the chase, elbowing and shoving to get in the photos and to get in a word with The One.

What happened, oh media? Did the lemmings run turn into a wild goose chase after all? Dear dear, it’s tragic.

Perhaps we can chuck the beeboids down the mineshaft once they’ve got the miners out?

Lob a few jars of Vaseline down with them and they’ll be kept occupied for weeks.

JournoLista Mark Halperin is a go-to source for the BBC about how great The Obamessiaah is.  He’s not criticizing the President here at all.  Note his reference to Fox News (boo!) and use of “elites” and “old-media” to describe the heretics.

The only quibble Halperin has with his Obamessiah is that He spent too much energy blaming His opponents and not enough on the hopey-changey stuff.  This goes right along with the BBC’s reporting.

What a complete waste of money to send Frei down to Chile for a couple of quick shoots.  Tim Willcox has been there for 3 weeks doing daily reports, and the BBC has also sent another 25 employees to cover the reveal.

What is the journalistic reason to have so many people make individual reports about the same thing, for the same company?  They can easily have Willcox’s report on BBC America, just like they have Mark Mardell’s audio on Today sometimes.

No wonder the Beeboids have been attacking Phillip Green all day and defending public sector spending as being a special case requiring special allowances.

The BBC in Chile, the most expensive wine-tasting in history.
I wonder how the BBC would have covered it if it had been a mine in Siberia in mid-winter ?

The BBC hack is missing the point of course.

The entire Obama hope and change you can believe in product sold to the American people and pimped around the world by leftist democrat sympathising journolistas was simply a marketing excersise. This was a sales pitch using the most modern tricks available.

Obama was a product marketed and sold using all the most modern whizbang trickery known to modern marketing science, this was the first time all the latest gizmos and devices were used to promote a person as a product and it worked.

Whats the problem with that you ask?

Well there would be nop problem whatsoever IF the product sold actually did what it said on the label and worked as advertised but the fact is that underneath the flash packaging and when the bloated claims are stripped away and the showboating flimflam snake oil sales pitch faded away what was left?
    NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE!
You see Obama is nothing more than a lavishly produced package with NOTHING inside and all the marketing expertise and all the high powered sales pitches in the world cannot disguise the fact, you can sell the mugs anything once if you market it properly but even the muggest of mugs will take the product home to try it out and even the dimmest of mugs will not buy the product again. Obama was a product and the BBC and others like the jourolist axis were willing salesmen and marketers of the Obama snake oil and it worked didnt it? The people were sold an empty package and its taken two years for them to realise it and now they want their money back!

The moral of the story is? It shows clearly the extent and power and huge influence of international leftism/socialism, it shows how this axis has infiltrated the mass media of the world and just how deep the infection of partisan political fraud has reached. It also shows how the political scum are using product marketing to sell themsleves and look how many of the new political breed cut their teeth in marketing and PR.
We see a corrupted MSM peddling partisan political filth and dirty tricks, we see a national British broadcaster conniving with and collaborating with a foreign political to affest the outcome of a democratic election. We see partisan politically motivated hacks engaging in projecting and blame shifting and smearing and dirty tricks on behalf of a foreign political party. This is the reality of how much our national broadcaster has degenerated, the stench of corruption is overpowering to all but those denialists at the BBC itself.

      Burbette,
They don’t need to. Most educated Chileans probably speak better english than Beeboids. I am so jealous. Chile is a country I have always wanted to visit. Probably won’t get the chance now . Wasted on Beeboids.

I see Matt Frei, Katty Kay and Katie Connolly have all been paying homage to Andrew Sullivan. To paraphrase Mrs Merton, “So, what attracted you to the one-time Bush supporter turned anti-war Palin-hating Obama devotee?” No apparent interest from them in Halperin’s latest article, but two Telegraph bloggers thought it was worth commenting on.
