Poor Ickle Poley Bears

The Polar Bear Song Wednesday, 23:20 on BBC Two (Wales only)

Tom Rugg, a biology teacher from Chepstow, has written The Polar Bear Song to raise awareness of climate change among children. In an exclusive video diary for the Green Wales season, follow Tom to Hudson Bay in Canada to meet Polar Bears International and ask questions on climate change from his pupils. The organisation will use the song to raise awareness of the impact of global warming in the Arctic. See how the sea ice is decreasing and the bears go hungry. Can a song help to save the bears?

Warning – you may feel the urge to jab a sharp instrument repeatedly into your ears. A bucket may be handy too.

This is part of the BBC’s Green Wales season, the promo video for which states: “Every day Wales is waking up to news of climate change…” It certainly is if it’s got the BBC on in the morning.

Apparently the Welsh are much more susceptible to this stuff than the rest of us.

    OT…ish.

First the BBC, and now The Telegraph blog section (which has had its a fair share of Climate-related pieces) seems offline.

    More ‘watertight oversight’ in progress?

The first principle of propaganda is pervert the minds of the children, they are the target of all evil regimes throughout history and we are seeing the birth of an evil regime based on lies, propaganda and dishonesty.
The closing down of dissent in the MSM comes as no surprise, the AGW fraudsters are shocked at the depth of feeling out there and the default position of cheating frauds is to silence debate and stiffle real information from getting to the people.
Its actually good news because the battle for hearts and minds has been lost by the fraudsters and now the true face of the ‘consensus’ will shine through for all to see.

I’m not surprised the Welsh are keen on being green. Apart from a job as a member of the Welsh Assembly, at DVLA or as a local government ‘officer’ there are no jobs in the country. They’d love some of the extra bureaucracy that eco-mania brings.

Tom gets a nice trip to Canada. What was its carbon footprint?

I notice the arcticle about the BBC Wales poll doesn’t mention who conducted the survey, making it harder to track down the data. Somewhat approriate given recent revelations out of East Anglia.

As the BBC’sbig build-up for Copenhagen continues – they seem to be missing the elephant in the room.  It looks even more likely that China/India/Brazil/South Africa are going to bring the whole rickety structure down.

Oddly,  no reference at the BBC website to this huge development  :

They are stepping it up in the face of the CRU scandal.  Looks like it’s time to bring back that quote from Corinthians XV:

Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.  By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

I just noticed that – for the moment – there’s actually a brilliant HYS quote inset, totally busting this Warmist movement for being instigated by the Watermelon crowd.  At least the XML function at the BBC website isn’t biased.  Yet.

Anyone else catch the BBC 6PM news? The article on local papers charging for content made me laugh. The BBC just had to get Rupert Murdoch into the article (I imagine lots of booing and hissing from the beeboids coming down off their weekend Cocaine spree) yet funnily enough never mentioned the BBC itself which has also been accused of driving local papers out of business and the BBC’s plan to try to expand it’s own online services to compete with local papers.

Have you noticed every report highlighted by the BBC about “green issues” always has the phrase “faster than expecred”?

“Carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere have risen 35% faster than expected since 2000, says a study.”
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7058074.stm

“Arctic sea ice is melting even faster than last year, despite a cold winter.”

“Coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian oceans are disappearing faster than had previously been thought, a scientific study has shown”

Obviously the BBC are caught into the self inflicted death spiral that all propaganda campaigns fall victim to in the end, the truth can only be hidden for so long, the suspension of reality by the mechanism of a state inspired need to lie to the masses has a defined shelf life beyond which reality ALWAYS breaks through and destroys the propaganda construct.
The people who manufactured the false construct of man made glaobal warming knew this from the start and hoped that by the time the construct fell apart the massive socio political and economic changes would be in place and self sustaining having no further need for fake covers to hide the real agenda.
Tell big lies, tell them often, if found out in one then tell even biger lies to cover up the first lies, never admit the truth, the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie and unless the lies are ramped up and accelerated then the truth will shine trough and the lie will melt away.

The BBC are using the exact strategy and tactics of the nazi party, they are following a demonic example set by some of the most able and cleverest propagandists ever assembled, the people who brought the world films like ‘the eternal Jew’ and ‘the triumph of the will’ are the inspiration for the new generation of propagandists and they have learned their lessons well.

Occassionally a BBC story slips through against the agenda. Even so the ‘faster than expected/ slower than expected’ meme remains. Himalayan glaciers’ ‘mixed picture’.

      Glacial conflict
But some scientists claim that glaciers in the Himalayas are not retreating as fast as was believed. Others who have observed nearby mountain ranges even found that glaciers there were advancing.

Worth looking at this post, it really shows how desperate the BBC has become to hammer home their “green” credntials

Actually Sky, ITV and C4 have all been hammering the climate change theme.

Me thinks they have all fallen for the man made climate change crap and don’t want to be the first to jump ship.

Problem is this is now in the hands of the scientific community, do they lose ALL credibility by letting the leftist losers make a joke of science or do they demand ALL data is put into the public domain and it given a proper scientific airing?

The likes of Newton & Einstein would be turning in their graves at the way science has been corrupted by the drug addled leftist losers.

Martin – you are quite right. I think it is a case of which news organisation in Britain is going to be the first to “break” the news.

Any critism of “Climate Change” is not really allowed as all the “main” political parties are backing it.  And now that big business has joined the “green” mantra the last thing commercial TV wants is to upset thier advertisers.

The BBC, though is supposed to be impartial – they have no excuse whatsoever.

No its political leadership that is missing and with all the political parties all trying to be clones of Tony Blair s “Cool Brittania”(because they think he had a magical formula for winning elections), nothing will change.

                ***TRASH SCIENCE ALERT***

The BBC are peddling yet another piece of trash science mumbo jumbo scaremongering(quelle surprise).

MELTING ANTARCTIA TO FEED MAJOR SEA RISE!

Never mind that the original biased report is using figures years out of date and only affect a tiny part of the western quarter of the continent, never mind that the report actually hedges its findings in ‘ifs/coulds/maybes/possibles, the BBC has changed the report from could to will.
The report is a rehash of an old report brought up again and again in slightly different guises it deals in the ridiculous notion that the tiny amount of ice shelves that calve primarily because of ocean currents and back pressure are somehow melting away.
Its a clear and simple perversion and manipulation of the facts, they claim that “melting antarctic ice is likely to contribute to rising sea levels” that is a bare faced manipulative bag of lies.
The antarctic ice mass is at record high levels and 99% of the continents ice sheets are stable, the antarctic continent is cooling and the supposition that because one tiny section of the ice shelf mass is prey to ocean currents and breaks up because of stress cracking and back pressure is frankly retarded in extremis.
The idea that warm ocean currents running past the ice shelves can somehow melt the ice shelf from underneath is ridiculous.
The BBC report is cobbled together by none other than the fraudster Black and he contradicts himself and misrepresents the reports to suit his obvious mental state.
Its obvious that the SCAR/BAS report admits that the continent is cooling and ice levels are increasing and summer melts are decreasing BUT the BBC have to report thier ration of trash science ‘its worse than we thought’ garbage.
In the crazy word of beeboid land only a cooling antartica and an increase of ice mass could lead to sea level rises, only in the crazy world of AGW fraud could “air and sea temperatures are increasing and the sun has very little influence”, how can they report such lies with a straight face? Yet they admit that temperatures are falling across the continent and ice levels are at record levels and yet they still claim a “creeping catastrophe” and “a doubling of greenhouse gas concentrations willlead to a 3-4 oC rise in temperature” there is no possible way that they can know that, its the worst kind of trash speculation based on trash science!
    Are they mental?
Land ice will not melt if air temperatures rise from -30 to -27 for example and the tiny local increase in air and sea temperatures will not affect the whole continent. The sole reason for dredging up this report and redressing it up to look new is the Copenhagen summit of lies, it makes my skin crawl to read it.
